Exactly. DS was designed before Looping was a thing with the hit box changes done in Patch 1.4.0 that made the Survivors hit boxes smaller than Killers. Thus allowing for the tight circles running around objects that makes Looping as it’s known today possible. So of course it needs a nerf now, as it’s design needs to be changed to make it so it doesn’t empower Looping anymore than it already is. It’s a Soft Counter. Lessens the blow, but so little effect that it’s more or less pointless. DS needs a Hard Counter. Something that negates it outright. So far, Killers only have Soft Counters. The only thing I’ve found that is a powerful Soft Counter is Enduring on Clown with Flask Of Bleach add on. I dont really consider Dribbling a Counter, as DS is not used, and doesn’t even come into play (technically, you’re just delaying its use, not countering its use.) -

Besides Wiggling wasn’t intended for you to escape the Killers grasp as often as you seem to think. All wiggling was introduced for was to prevent a Killer from basically carrying someone around all match. More or less “taking them out of the game”. That or carrying them around with Agitation. -

I have NEVER stated I'm good, I just know what a good killer can do and I know what ######### killers look like when I see one. Yes they do and I have. Who's saying who's the best here? Not me. I've only stated a thousand times that flashlights can be outplayed and then given clips of people with WAY more experience and are better than me saying the same to back it up. This is not what you have said I have done at all and you are twisting the narrative to support yourself. I have never stated I am better than anyone and I do not wish to "shoulder the ire". What are you driveling about? I also never said this person or that would have done better, just that the person in the video made a tonne of mistakes and then got angry with everyone/thing else in the game but himself. Someone else actually made a point by point post but no body seems to have said anything against that.

You are talking #########. You think seem to be under the false impression that there is ALWAYS a way to outplay flashlights. Wrong. Sometimes there isn’t. All you can do is take it, then try to down the guy again in a more favorable position. Chase the DS flashlight user? You lose the game wasting an assload of time.
Sometimes you just can’t win. Stop acting like there is always a way. -
Only thing I want is for Survivors to not be able to body block the hook prompt. If it’s “an exploit” of a game mechanic for Killers, it’s the same for Survivors.Give Killers the swivel hooks

Would be better to swap out Thanatophobia for Ruin though. The values on Thanatophobia are so low, it wouldn’t make a difference. I’ve thought about this build myself, though been having trouble getting Distressing on my Clown. Legacy is a reward to people who played this game when bloodwebs were nuts and still managed to P3. It was dedication like theirs that helped this game continue to be a success. (I don't have any legacy).
And the Devs have already said that they do not want anymore exclusives, as it only breeds unhappiness from those players of the game that are excluded. It was the whole reason they came up with the Charity Case. There were so many streamer exclusives and the player base was bummed they couldn't get their favourite streamers gear.
BHVR's stand is to TRY and make everything between PC and both CONSOLES even, including release dates. I know the release dates got hosed this time around but it was their intention to have it all come out at the same time.

It’s definitely going to get one, I believe the developers settled on making it so it stuns the Killer in place, but they do not drop them. There is a reason there’s an achievement called “Vulture”. That, and I’ve been in a few matches where I see a tea bagging Survivor flashlight clicking a Killer and the Killer has Franklins. I run over and steal it. Mine now. Even had a Claudette message me after a match cause I wouldn’t give his purple flashlight with the double battery add on’s back at the end of the match. As a Survivor : Escape is the ultimate goal, but a black pip and die is fine as well. As a Killer : 2+ Kills is the goal, but just a pip is fine. I’m a little more harsh on myself as Killer, simply because I don’t want to set the bar too low and not be at least a challenge for the Survivors.

Key word : “Good”. A Killer that is good at tracking their prey should be rewarded for *being good*. All looping does is negate a good Killers skill at finding and tracking. Just fine really. All I did was run from Pallet to Pallet with a few windows here and there. Ruin gone and 3 gens done. Used about every single Pallet on the map. After that, Killer left and got two more people on Hooks before the gates were powered.Paddy4583 said:

Simply because your not taking advantage of having team mates you know are good, and using voice comms for another advantage on top of that. You make more mistakes that way and don’t have perfect coordination. Not to mention, gang mentality. It’s easy to blame a loss on the random that “######### everything up” or that “was useless”. Lots of SWF groups don’t understand the concept of a challenge and just want to win every game and stomp the Killer every game.
Granted some play SWF just for fun with friends, though a vast majority don’t. They play to win, that includes having perks (perk corrdination as well), items, Looping like crazy, friends they can rely on, and voice comms. I feel bad for those who just want to have some fun with friends... these people not only harass Killers, they harass solo Survivors.

Maybe they can’t, maybe the can. Who knows until they try. However if no one complains about the way Sony mishandles BHVR’s content, BHVR won’t even think about trying, now will they? That’s the esscence though, a good Killer’s ability is finding and tracking. It’s kind of the whole point of Scratch Mark’s, Moans of pain from injury, and Blood. I don’t see the point of these mechanics if finding and tracking Survivors means almost nothing. If the game keeps going all about the chase, then why keep these outdated mechanics? If you use pallets like there is no tomorrow, and the match gets a little bit longer, you have a very serious problem. Survivors do not have any other mechanic to waste killers' time and if they use all the pallets, you could even be a god survivor but there would be nothing to do against a killer. The game's real problem is that it is too short that the amount of pallets in any map is more than enough for survivors. This is why Nurse, hillbilly and huntress are the three killers at the top tier. They have mechanics to cross the map quickly or down survivors easily.
At this point we should not try to prevent pallet loop. Instead we should focus on how we can prolong the game a little bit longer.
Window loops are there as well. Not to mention, you shouldn’t be trying to waste the Killers time in chases. You should be wasting their time by them not being able to find you in the first place. Chase’s are a Survivors fail condition, a fail at hiding.
In the past yes window loops were there as well but if you are afraid of window loops you can bring bamboozle right now. You can't waste killers' time by hiding because any good killer would move on to the next generator if they could not find the person they were looking.
You can't really hide yourself very well because the objective that survivors have to do does not allow it. It is stationary. You need to sit on a generator and repair it. Yes when you hear heartbeat you try to hide but generally it is not effective against good killers because they can easily find you. Only new killers find it difficult to spot a survivor.
The game does not revolve around stealth and in the last dev stream the game designer also said that he didn't want a stealth game. He wants us to chase and be chased and most probably this is why they are buffing so many detection perks.
I don't understand why I should not waste killers' time in chases. It is the most effective way and this is why everybody complains about it. If stealth was more successful, then we wouldn't debate pallet looping right now. You can't say that the survivors can't loop because it is unfun for the killer. Just like killers can't tell survivors to not pallet loop because it is unfun, survivors also do not have any right to say that killers can not camp or tunnel because it is unfun for them. Everybody will try to do to win the game.
The whole point of Gens being like that is to make it dangerous to work on them. They are designed to be a danger zone, as they are meant to put you in a dangerous position that leaves you exposed to The Killer’s sight. It’s why the game is in a poor state of balance. It’s just not nearly as dangerous to work on Gens. You don’t have to hide, the moment you are seen, you just run to a Looping spot. You don’t get found, you win. You get found, but just run to a Looping spot and waste the Killer’s time, you still win. As a Killer, you can’t find folks, you lose. You find folks easy, but they run to a Looping spot and Loop you to hell and back, you still lose.
The developers originally intended for this to be a Stealth game. Problem is, after Patch 1.4.0 that re-sized the Survivors hit boxes to be smaller (for a different reason), Looping became the meta. Simply because it was so powerful, because the game was not designed for Survivors to be able to waste so much of the Killers time so easily. Survivors got infinite’s taken away, which allowed for them the stall indefinitely, and naturally went to Looping because it achieves the same effect for the most part. It’s effective because the game wasn’t originally designed around it, just like infinite’s weren’t a design.
Yes, M.Cote said he wants chases. However those chases should last a maximum of 45 seconds. With 30 seconds being the average. Most chases with Loopers last a minimum of 45 seconds, which the game is not balanced for that.
I’m not trying to tell others how to play, I'm just saying the game isn’t balanced for it. Loop if you want. Camp and tunnel if you want. Camping and tunneling have a draw back though, Killer waste a truck load of time just killing one person. Boring gameplay, but at least it’s balanced because that means the other Survivors have free reign of the map to bang out Gens. There is absolutely no draw back to Looping. It benefits both the solo Survivor and the team. Survivors loose nothing when they Loop. -

Only time that I don't destroy a pallet is when i want to mind game or bloodlust so i actually need them to jump over it. Survivors generally don't loop around the pallets that they have already used. They loop you around the pallet that they did not use so i am not sure how we can solve this problem.
If you use pallets like there is no tomorrow, and the match gets a little bit longer, you have a very serious problem. Survivors do not have any other mechanic to waste killers' time and if they use all the pallets, you could even be a god survivor but there would be nothing to do against a killer. So they kinda actually need to loop you and use pallets efficiently as much as they can.
The game's real problem is that it is too short that the amount of pallets in any map is more than enough for survivors. This is why Nurse, hillbilly and huntress are the three killers at the top tier. They have mechanics to cross the map quickly or down survivors easily.
At this point we should not try to prevent pallet loop. Instead we should focus on how we can prolong the game a little bit longer.
