It’s good to have you join the crew. News flash, 3 gens can get done in 80-85~ seconds if the killer doesn’t have early game perks.
People still cry about tunneling when they are the first survivor chased and have every resource on the map available to them. Add in the obligatory pile of second chance perks and it’s just sad in most cases.
I literally had a guy crying on my steam profile earlier when he’s running full survivor meta and I’m playing nemesis.
It’s like my dude, how many health states do you need? You had like 5 this life…between nemesis, BT, and DS;……quit crying you sucked so bad you still went down again in 10 seconds.

Speedrunning matches.
You know what I mean - the coordinated team that splits up on gens immediately and finishes all the gens in 5 minutes without much in the way of counterplay. The spirit or nurse that goes on a 4 man slugging spree at 5-4 gens.
Why bother queuing up for a match if you're just going to get it over with as soon as possible and without much interaction?
I feel like most red rank killers should be expecting 5~ minute matches by now.
What reduces my fun is having game breaking bugs, such as survivors having no footstep sounds like they currently do. Or scratch marks appearing 1-2 seconds too late, like they currently do sometimes.

Fixated sounds fantastic on this level, I've got to give that a shot
Try it with a blood amber key, you will never get caught. I would put RPD as the best stealth map in the game hands down (unless it’s a stealth killer ofc). Fixated is just OP on it, if you are used to using it.
No other map really offers you multiple escape options per chase. Most maps if you want to escape a chase entirely you need a full build dedicated to it. RPD you can do it reliably with 1-2 perks.
Im sure lucky break would be borderline broken as well but I prefer fixated since it can be used all game.
-
This is what I’ve usually been running if I offer it. I’ve tried balanced + spine chill instead of fixated burst but omg.
Fixated burst is just too good on RPD. There’s so many places you can just walk away from a chase if you have a head start on the killer. It’s been hilarious ditching chases entirely by walking down a hallway at a 3+ way junction mid chase.
Add in a key for good measure in case the team is getting slain; although I’m sure wake up would be just as viable for camping a door.

I don't have all the perks on them yet and some arent tier 3 but atm I am loving STBFL(though a lot of the time I have BBQ on instead) to get really fast combos of charlotte into Victor, Sloppy its a real no brainer, Crowd control I still dont like this perk as a concept but I mean its here and will probably stay and it is perfect for when you have to deal with windows like the ones on midwich since victor isnt chasing he wont get the window blocked and lastly Nurses because making healing a pain in the ass is the best thing for twins. In terms of perks I really want to try but dont have unlocked/leveled coulrophobia sounds nice to just remove any chances of them healing on an indoor map and stridor to find injured people through walls easier when playing as victor also franklins and maybe even overwhelming presence to drain their medkits. Third seal sounds good for slug rampages but I am not that much of an ######### to run it. Obviously slowdown perks are nice but I find all of them incredibly boring so I never run them.
I usually just do ruin undying sloppy, but if I were a more regular Twins player my build might look like this…
During the MMR test, 3/3 high MMR twins player had endfury.
Free victor damage into free endfury damage or vice versa is super strong for hard tunneling/camping the first survivor to death.

It's ordered from tiers (e.g. Nemesis is stronger than Legion).
Super close to mine actually. But I think both Phead and Nemesis are beasts if you can aim.

First i don't know other zones but for Europe, we all playing on one server. UK, Russia, Spain, France, Turkey etc. Even Arabia, Israel. This is really so huge area, so many countries. And sometimes i am seeing people from even Africa, just think how big zone we are talking about.
Anyway my question is this. With new system, server will decide did pallet drop early or i hit early. But is not this unfair for people who is not near to server? Will people close to the server not be advantageous? I don't know how to ping system working but my internet is pretty good. But i am not living near to servers. So this will make me disadvantaged? How this will work? If people who is near server will get advantages, then they have to open more servers for my zone. West Europe, East Europe, Middle East etc. But this will make queques so long right? If this system works like this, this is pretty stupid change. This is clearly middle finger to people who are far from this server, is not it?
Please people who know this, light me
The survivor drops the pallet and gets invincibility frames. I have 150GB/s downloads and regularly hit someone through a pallet, hear the scream, get the blood splash on the screen…..and the survivor just walks away. Happens with both melee and ranged attacks.
-
Too much Billy hate in this thread. He’s still a super mobile killer with a built in 1 shot and pallet breaking utility.
How people are putting some of these Garbo killers ahead of him because he got nerfed is mind boggling.

Legion for beginners?
I thought lehion is on of the harder killers, why would you recommend Legion?
He’s hard because he’s bad, not because he is difficult to play. I’d recommend wraith over legion though since they are both very similar (free first hit into M1 killer). Playing M1 killers is a good way to get transferable killer skills.
As for getting better, you need to find the killers and perks that suits you. You also unfortunately need to be run at the most obnoxious loops before you will realize which chases are worth taking. I learned all the infinite windows back in the day by people running me at them.

It's more than enough for one chase.
For two chases, especially if they aren't giving you a chance to M1, you're seriously pushing it.
And that is different from huntress how again? She only carries enough ammo for 2 downs basekit.
And trickster probably should be weaker than that when you consider her power actually takes more skill than pointing in the general direction of the survivor.

You have to reload every minute or two because the knives deplete quickly, and you're likely to run out of blades during a chase. 44 blades doesn't cut it, and you need the more knives add-ons or the laceration delay add-on to make him more enjoyable. Also, you're even more likely to run out of blades because of the faster decay.
Cut Thru U + Edge of Revival makes it a lot easier, I agree on that one, and the new Main Event is a lot better, I also agree on that. However Main Event takes a lot longer to charge up.
I don't think buffing his camping potential is any better either.
I don’t think I have ever come close to using all 44 blades to down a single survivor. Its plenty to spam a single survivor to death or get multiple downs if you are actually landing most of them. I’m an OCD reloader so I reload after every chase regardless if I have the time.
I also don’t get people who are complaining about the laceration meter decay, loops where that even comes into play you should probably just be brute forcing the pallet down as M1 instead of wasting a ton of time and knives trying to slowly whittle them down. I run bamboozle and don’t waste my time at most of the loops he might struggle at to begin with.
Making his camping better absolutely comes into play because as a 110 killer he’s a prime candidate to do it; instead of attempting to travel around the map defending gens.
-
@glitchboi said:
For now I'll leave him be on my tier list until he gets more feedback. From what I've seen so far, he seems less fun to enjoy because of the fact that they gave him less blades, nerfing his 1v4. In general he seems... not just less fun, but weaker.
I don’t see how anyone can think he’s weaker. His base kit is just straight up better and some of his addons are broken OP at the moment.
I had people calling hacks the first game I used the exploding blades + the piercing blades because they down in 4 blades if you are shooting people through the feet.
You pop main event on someone and they literally melt. Unhooking against him is now significantly more dangerous.

There's literally an infinite
I have played on it like 5 times today and have yet to see someone running an infinite on me. By the time it’s common knowledge I bet it’s already nerfed.
Not to mention half my killer builds have bamboozle anyways, along with the map being big enough you can just abandon that area if it becomes a problem.
Does it justify it? No. But extremely survivor sided maps are nothing new.

I mean, I don't support DC'ing, but if someone brings the Killer to Haddonfield or RPD, I wouldn't blame them if they closed the game during the loading screen.
I don’t get the hate. I think I would love this map as both sides.
As survivor the maze of hallways keeps the terror radius scary, but there’s still tons of safety and the map is big enough you won’t be inside the terror radius the whole time. Balanced landing on this map sounds sooo good, along with most other stealth perks.
For killer, you get god tier totems and pretty chaotic chases with people randomly running into you. There’s definitely some really strong 3 gens you can do as well. Ruin Undying will probably stay up the entire match if the survivors don’t have totem perks.
Overall I think it will be great if you are offering it. Getting it with a random build could be really rough for killer though.
-
I don’t think I would bring a SWF there but for playing hide and seek with solo Q survivors it seems great. Could be my new favorite map

To be fair thats a perk and people don't like really using perks to "Buff" a character.
I guess; but they should be considered balance wise. I will never get why people don’t consider perks half the time when everyone can have 4 by level 15.
Ghostface is the strongest before people realize it’s Ghostface. There’s a handful of early game tracking perks that play to that strength, but none better than lethal pursuer.
Meta Ghostface absolutely slays solo Q teams and I think because of that he is fine how he is.
-
Or…just force them out? You are already taking a loss, take the teabags like a man if they are trying to waste your time.

Could work, I just would like to see maybe some kind of tracking effect like hemorrhage with it since Ghost Face does not let victims get away that easily.
I mean, lethal pursuer being added was the biggest buff Ghostface has gotten since release.
I don’t think he really needs anything, he can have such an explosive start that it makes up for his weaker mid and late game once everyone is on high alert.
-
Make an obvious quick swap to a key at 6 seconds.
No better way to get hard tunneled in my games.
-
I think you can get away with a lot if you play well enough.
Most killers don’t need a full meta build, 1-2 meta perks is usually fine to be competitive.
-
I don’t understand what you mean, since half of the killer perks are already gimmicks.

I never use keys so I don’t really care for it, think keys are powerful enough on their own
Wake up is niche for the same reason. It’s the poor mans left behind key and is actually wonderful for camping exit gates as the last survivor.
Without either of those perks you load into the games where your team feeds 3+ downs in the first 2 minutes and you just automatically die with them. Or someone DCs at 5 gens etc etc.
Those are pretty much the only 2 perks in the game protecting you from a terrible team.

A lot of people want a competitive and non-competitive version of DBD. Honestly, just approach that via Objectives.
Competitive Survivor: Complete all Generators, otherwise, if the Killer is stomping you, try for the Hatch (which is also the casual approach)
Competitive Killer: Hook/Kill all Survivors without Tunneling/Camping. Being a Competitive Killer should prevent the loss-condition of Survivors to a certain extent.
It retains Killers being Killers, while making 4Ks require a certain approach and reducing 4E's.
Load into disturbed ward as Myers against even semi-competent survivors and win the game without camping/tunneling or a full stack of gen perks.
You can lose like 40 seconds (aka entire gens worth of progress depending how many survivors are working) just moving across the map; let alone if someone can actually loop.
-
Run this build. Spam shocks without timing them because discipline. Hit every shock without being accurate because of the range addon. Hold W because discipline hides the red stain for you.
Hit static blast after you hook someone and collect easy 1 shots.
Dump brutal for Ruin/NOED to be extra annoying.

Did someone have it?
It's really not normal and broken af
There’s definitely flashlight hacks. I’ve seen it both on stream and also gone against it myself. They can blind you anywhere on the map basically.
Ive been hit by it 2-3 times I want to say and usually the first save I’m bewildered but then the hacker turns on god mode once you actually down them and it’s obvious.
I usually give the first save where I literally see nobody the benefit of the doubt but when I’m getting blinded while completely looking at the wall my next questIon is “who’s the hacker?”
-
I dunno, some of them are good.
It’s pretty BAMF to kick down a wall to a generator room to start a chase, especially with undetectable active.
Pre dropped god pallet ones are annoying though, especially when there’s tons of them.
There’s a few tricks you can do, like only kicking 1 wall on the Midwich stairwell open so if people run up there in chase they go down. I only kick the bottom one out as Pig too so hopefully people run up there with a head trap on.

I think the difference is that camping and tunneling directly impact the ability for survivors to play the game. If I'm found first, and then tunneled down, I didn't really get a chance to do anything.
The games where I'm the lucky one, I walk away with 3k bloodpoints. I don't expect killers to take it easy, but damn dude, let me get some points.
Not to mention that camping is not an effective strategy for doing your job, against survivors with a brain. And against good survivors, tunneling isn't the greatest either.
If camping and tunneling didn’t work people would not be on here every day crying about them.
The answer is to play survivor better. You only need to run the killer for about 80 seconds to win the game if your team is actually doing gens. How people can’t even manage that against M1 killers on maps like “the game” is beyond me.
When I am killing people before corrupt intervention is over it’s because they were friggin terrible. There’s just no other way to put it. And there’s no reason to stop chasing them if they go down in 15 seconds every time. Easy win for me. It’s really that simple. Same with camping at 5 gens left. No better time to do it. I know the survivors can’t end the game before I secure the kill and can snowball in the 3v1.
Camping and tunneling have nothing to do with skill. They are strategies that you employ in the right situations when they are beneficial to you. That’s it.

I don’t think PWYF is worth it on ghostface. Way too much setup for a killer who can have a strong early game instead. You basically have to combo it with Nemesis or it’s RNG if you are going to get meaningful value. Then you gotta waste time breaking your stealth, spend the 45 seconds getting the stacks, THEN start the stalking and hope you don’t get screwed over by being revealed behind a wall or something.
I don’t think it’s worth it on anyone but Tombstone Myers or Carb Tuning Guide Bubba.
Lethal persuer can have you 1 shotting someone from stealth in the first 15 seconds of the game. Why waste 60+ seconds to do it? That’s almost 3 gens done against a good team. I’d even rather just have 2 chase perks and just run them down normally.

Firstly, the clip you showed is the second strongest killer in the game, with two add-ons that tremendously increase her lunge distance, with a basekit ability to increase her lunge distance. It's disingenuous, and literally every other killer bar a Tier 3 Myers has a much, much less useful effect from Coup.
Second, if you're playing a killer with an instant down ability like Bubba or Billy, using a perk for basic attacks is a little silly. You'll be using said power more times than your basic attack, in most cases. On Bubba I can maybe see its use, if everyone stays injured, but all it takes is people dropping pallets to counter this perk.
Lastly, please don't use the argument of facecamping Bubba to justify how a bad perk is good. Monstrous Shrine is also good if we take facecamping Bubba into account, as faster entity progression in the basement means less time spent camping and quicker access to a 3V1. Also, who uses NOED on Bubba, the killer with the most easily accessible, reliable, and arguably most powerful instadown power in the game?
Well let’s agree to disagree. You are not always going to be able to use the chainsaw and have to M1 and being able to super quickly finish up a chase with a token amplifies how hard those killers can snowball.
Im saying literal worst case it’s a free down to camp out your 1k. Best case you consume 1-2 stacks to secure a down, chainsaw someone else, and are ending the game at 3-4 gens left which is typical for a very aggressive player.
I already linked a video here of someone 4king like 15 games in a row or something with it. That’s all I can do.

Which is absurd haha. Because consistently winning regularly at 5 gens just isn’t going to happen. May as well get something out of losing a gen.
Guaranteed down anyone?
Guaranteed Dead Hard counter anyone?
Heres like 2 hours of the world record holder for DBD win streak (as far as I’m aware, 720+) absolutely wrecking face with coup de grace myers.
Turns out ignoring a whole pallet, lunging 60% further for 2-3~ downs, and 1 shotting is a lot of power to pack into 60 seconds and is enough to break most teams.
-
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ71GvxarS4&t=846s@Altarf said:
Coup de Grace is a bad perk. This isn't exactly a controversial opinion - 5 slightly extended lunges a game, at maximum, at the expense of never lunging in order to not waste tokens on lunges you don't need Coup for is a bad deal. It's gimmicky to the point of inefficiency, and the times Coup has gotten me a hit I wouldn't have normally gotten is outweighed by the number of times I have to waste a token in order to lunge and hit someone before a vault or pallet drop, which I would've gotten a hit at without Coup. Not to mention the annoyance of never lunging unless necessary, otherwise wasting a precious token that you only get 5 of a game.
Reminds me a little of PWYF - fun concept, but ultimately ruined by how inefficient it is to maintain tokens and how easy it is to lose them, even when the perk had no effect. At least PWYF is good on killers like Wraith, Myers and Ghostface, though. Who's Coup good on? Clown? Deathslinger? Using their powers is already satisfactory for shortening distance and getting hits on a survivor where you wouldn't normally.
Hell, the current Coup distance barely feels like anything for how situational and difficult it is to store. My suggestion - Coup tokens are only consumed when a lunge attack goes past the non-Coup duration and starts becoming extended. Then, either buff the lunge distance to how it was on the PTB, or allow for hooks to grant tokens instead of gens. I'd prefer the former, honestly.
I don’t understand how anyone can see that and think it’s a bad perk.
Any killer with a 1 shot can kill people off a single down very easily. Down one guy, slug someone else, go back and camp the hook and that’s that. On someone like Bubba it’s better than NOED since it’s 2 stacks for a ~kill~ and you get three more throughout the game.
-
@DemonDaddy said:
Coupe de Grace is garbage. You can spend every token on a single survivor and still not get a kill. So many better options.
Lethal pursuer isn't great but it's functionally better than 5 swings.
If you don’t know how to build for it or use it maybe. I don’t know why people are scared to use token perks when half the best perks in the game are disposable and the matches are so short.
I find these builds super strong. Bubba I’m chainsawing 90% of the match so having 2-3 tokens on hand means I get a free down on demand basically. Broken saw means they are usually still injured and only use 1 token. Myers just gets free 1 shot downs outright with it.
The tokens can let you snowball out of control with a critically timed down you would never get without the perk. Especially if you are using the tokens to finish off someone on death hook or want them dead next to the basement ASAP etc etc.
I don’t think there is a single stronger chase perk except maybe play with your food but that requires tons of effort to build and can’t be saved with M2s.
Granted, maybe it’s only for one chase. But like DS, sometimes one use is all you need to change the game.
Is it ruin tinkerer undying? No. But it’s still really good.
-
Idk I think it would be kinda cheesy. Tinkerer is pretty annoying as it is.
That would be like turning every killer into Ghostface. Except Ghostface is balanced by being M1.

I rarely use it, basically only using it when I'm feeling kind of bored and wanting to do something weird
It usually never works out. There are ways I could help mitigate that (like Hex Undying or using an Indoor Map offering since those Hexes are usually trickier to find) but I'm not all that concerned about it. Just a fun thing to try once in a while when I feel like throwing a Hail Mary to see what happens (or if I have a "Kill by your hand" Daily and add that to the build).
I think the best way to do a DH build is just go all in. Undying for 2 totems. Lethal pursuer to get the stacks rolling as fast as possible. Indoor map offering so there’s the best chance for good totem spawns.
I really like it on Bubba since he has a super strong early game. Broken saw + Coup is pretty good but could be changed out.
I just prefer the satisfaction of a Coup lunge into a Mori and it makes getting the last stacks you need way easier since you can do huge instadown lunges if needed.
Of course it can fall apart easily but you definitely come out of the gates swinging which is what you need for DH to work.
