  • I know absolute 0 about slenderman or the operator and have no idea where to start. Is it a movie thing? Games? A tv show? Novels? Comics?

  • Congrats! Speaking of Cheryl i just got her p100 today lol

    cheryl.jpg
  • Id say xeno and skully mains. Not a lot of people want to play xeno as iconic as it is due to its counter. And skull merchant, even i can barely bring myself to play her today at p100

Lastly Trapper mains, who dont rely on camping basements. Its pretty tough to consistently play trapper in todays meta and not feel discouraged enough to switch to something else.

  • My unpopular opinions are :

    • The castlevania chapter shouldve been 2 survivors, with Shanoa and Simon Belmont, allowing both the male and female characters from the series to join as legendaries like with resident evil.
    • Wesker is the most toxic killer in the game and always makes things feel personal, from experience.
    • Cosplays should not exist in the game unless a legendary of the character has alredy been made. As for me having to use the cosplay feels like they felt the character was popular enough to put into the game, but they did'nt find it worth putting the extra effort in to please fans of those characters.
    • The only perfect license collab we ever got was chucky, due to the iconic looks, the original voice actors of both characters, and it was a balanced killer, not too strong not too weak. And nothing was missing that felt necessary to make it the "complete package". AND he got several cosmetics afterwords.
    • Skull merchant would benefit from continuing to get sexier outfits like the one she launched with, as some of her players were drawn in by that.
  • I dont think its about the license not being dark enough, but about weather the ip wants to show their characters being brutally murdered. Similar to why we cant have Elvira

  • I think they focused more on what fits the licensed character more this time, with originals they can do whatever they want and make completely unique powers but with licenses its tied to what people could see that specific character being able to do.

I did say technically. Even pre-trickster still had the fastest ttk in the game, but was still a terrible killer. The same goes for now. He's technically incredibly lethal and without line of sight blockers, will always get a down. I think his full potential without missing is maybe 1.5 or 2 seconds at S rank, but he falls really short without good mobility.

    He's 4.4 and even has a lullaby.

Jason is a better killer and overall is more lethal. The origanl point though was that Jason isn't a good comparison to justify pushing changes. Huntress and Deathslinger in that regard are no different, and can be used as comparison since they're projectile ranged killers.

I understand what u mean. Hes got the potential to shred health states much faster, and the more speed he has the easier it is to do depending on surroundings, while jason relies on the aim of 1 shot, which can push a survivor to the next loop, and has to be reloaded at hooks/piles mid chase.

  • How long does the xp bonus event last for? Not shown on the roadmap but probably ingame?

  • For me i see toxicity as the other player starting to taunt you for no reason. Either side.

yeah but it's easier to do with Jason, every other killer listed requires planning to get a mori

for example, pyramid head. you have to get the survivour tormented beforehand, which takes a lot of work in and of itself, and THEN you have to keep that torment until they get on death hook, and only then do you get the mori

myers, similar thing, you have to be in evil incarnate to be able to mori survivours on death hook. admittedly, it takes less work, but it still takes some work.

and then there's sadako, probably the most difficult to get a mori out of. you have to teleport around, and hope that survivours are near open tvs. and if you're teleporting so much between tvs, you turn them off, lowering the chances of even getting a stack of condemn on a survivour

now compare that to jason, where all you have to do is aim your spear and hit the survivour while they're on death hook. that's it. compared to other killers, jason's mori is really easy to get compared to the other mini mori characters.

Not that much easier, you can still miss. I find his biggest problem is there is no way to hide from him when in omnipresent evil. Stand still you glow like a big red balloon, run and he can see your scratchmarks like normal, walk and he can see your exact location with glowing footsteps. I dunno if he can see you in lockers

  • The cooldown on leaps coming back seems to be something that can be toned down. They never feel the need to conserve their power, just leap around the entire game, find someone, leap again for free injure, leap again for body block/vault etc. Its always available.

  • Usualy just 1 for me sometimes none. Usually overcharge. Mostly focus on stealth builds etc, i almost always have Unforseen lol

  • When pope was responding i believe the question asked was about not having much survivor content when it came to fnaf anniversary, which all we got were t shirts. My guess is either camp councelor themed cosmetics / black banquet themed cosmetics, or a standalone survivor or legendary.

As for Rhea my duo friend would faint if that heppened, let alone this early after the message was sent to her.

My guess is they have something like her and other licenses lined up for the anniversary stream where they reveal a bunch of collaberations for the year like they did with castlevania / slipknot / iron maiden etc. Theyve never really had the potential to toss multiple killers into 1 update, and often avoid it so they don't overshadow eachother in popularity and sales

Although the comparison is fair, survivors can (and should) purposefully avoid trails, Jason has full control over whether or not he impales the survivor

With the right addon its nearly impossible to avoid trails. And once u get the effect, the killer often chooses to not send you to cages just for the sake of mori later. As for myers he can even kill you without knocking you down let alone picking up for ds. And can activate that effect anytime he wants so long as you are on deathhook.

And a 3rd killer sadako can even spam teleports and slug all game to mori without even hooking. All killers with "quick moris" can bypass ds, and any killer when its the last person standing.

  • Prettymuch has the same potential to mori on 2nd hook as myers and pyramid head. I don't see why he would be the only one nerfed for it.

  • I am satisfied with his power so far. I enjoy stealth killers, hes got a very interesting permanent stealth that allows him to look for people and surprise them whenever without having to worry about being seen, which feels close to source material. I also wouldn't call it mobility as it doesn't allow him to teleport to places like batform though im not sure if he moves faster.

His power of throwing javelins is something i actually predicted since playing the f13 game, and how its been implemented to have a unique way of pinning people to walls will be a fun mechanic in use.

His ability to always be able to mori if he wanted to will also be fun to use in comparison to myers.

Cosmeticly we were lucky to get jason at all and unlike freddy and myers and pinhead we get several weapons n outfits, with likely more to come seeing as they are mostly original.

So overall im satisfied with how jason turned out. The only negative id say is the animation quality like others are saying. Its quite noticeable that its very stiff and doesnt feel natural like every other character's movement in the game. Everything from the throwing to the moris.

But Henry got nerfed recently, his second world breaker lasts 10 seconds less and a bunch os addon changes.

My bad, i didnt notice that one in the patch notes lol. I guess jason is doomed afterall :(

  • I kinda just see how it goes and don't get my hopes up. They are going to do what they are going to do. Kaneki has been complained about since the day he launched but hes almost exempt from any meaningful nerfs. Henry survived the complaints and even got slight buffs. It seems like licenses are less likely to get nerfed

    • Twins is a killer that can somewhat be in 2 places at once
    • Victor can be planted as a detection device in an area while you are using charlotte (camping, generator/totem defence/ looking for survivors in an area etc)
    • Victor can grab uninjured survivors, and slug multiple injured survivors making his potential at downing multiple survivors very high if you keep multiple survivors injured
    • Victor almost cannot be dodged if he pounces at very close range
    • When victor latches on it shows you long enough to get a general idea of where his target is going, but it can also be use as a means of just injuring people for free on 1 side of the map while charlotte chases someone on her side of the map
    • If someone is looping charlotte in a main building for example, victor can also be placed in the main building for detection to tell charlotte what the survivor is doing through the walls. Though your more likely to just try to down them with victor in that case
  • Springtrap can select any door on the map and just pop out of there, his undetectable status from door use allows you to get within throwing range before people start running, his axe grab can be used to avoid second chance perks, and his projectile is capable of hitting over higher obstactles.

Jason (so far as ive seen) has more of a batform mobility with the differences being survivors cant see you or hear that you are nearby until you popout, and he cant teleport across the map to the jumpscare points. So its more of a way to suprise people if they have a vault/pallet nearby, his projectile is more straightforward (sure its easier to use but that doesnt make it much stronger) and requires manually picking up 1 javelin at a time (though without having to stop and in convenient locations) id imagine if you were looping jason at a main building and he misses his 1 shot there arent many hooks around to reload making him an m1 killer quickly. Springtrap has an infinite but longer reload time (which hasnt bothered me since i always use his addon to reduce that time).

They are different enough that they would both be played. We said the same thing about springtrap being a better xeno

  • In rounds that ive won against him, stealth with lockers when hes hooking, stops him from zooming across the map to you before you can fart. And when in you are stuck in chase, pallets have to be used with precise timing or you wont make it to the next loop.

I think New Line has the rights to Pamala unfortunately

    Screenshot_20260525_034456_Samsung Browser.jpg Screenshot_20260525_034643_Samsung Browser.jpg

The rights seem to be all over the place lol, on google it said jason universe has the rights to pamela. My search was "what characters does Jason universe own"

  • Probably pamela as a legendary

  • Im not sure but i know my tunneled by wesker rate was atleast 45%

  • Maybe he can get a hex perk

Hex : C___ block : while this hex is active, any survivors healing eachother give you killer instinct mapwide.

A joke about how hes always going after couples having a good time lol

Hopefully we'll get a wide variety of cosmetics for jason

Perhaps even a legendary of Pamela? Seeing as she did all the killing in the first one lol

  • I wasn't all that interested in jason. And to me it feels like a jason style killer was alredy in the game since the beginning (trapper). But i am interested to see what this new version of jason will be like as it is an entirely new license now. Much like ghostface he will be similar to the movies just not directly from them like scream.

  • Screenshot_20260523_034207_YouTube.jpg

Somethin happened for a split second but i doubt it was what we were waiting for

  • Screenshot_20260523_034207_YouTube.jpg

Split second of this. Probably the first bit of action all day

  • Screenshot_20260522_225611_Gmail.jpg

For example what could be more ragebaiting than sending you an email to watch a shack for over 10 hours. Better seen live...

Then later we will get a message saying the person they sent out there to do the livestream was eaten by a bear on the way

  • Yea im done watching. Its clearly just a ragebait stream. No idea why theyd hate their playerbase enough to do this to thousands of people who have been waiting weeks for an answer.

  • @BongoBoys said:

1 HOUR OF THIS PLEASE END THIS

what do you mean? Wasn't this supposed to be a stream of watching paint dry?

  • I didnt know birds had accents

  • @cogsturning said:

Where's the abandon button on this stream?

    i heard a bird!

  • I wonder if one of them was like "i alredy turned the camera on and sent out the the big "tune in now we're live!" Haha there must be thousands sitting there waiting… for something.. what we start in another hour and a half? Oh.. oh god... well i cant turn it off."

At this point? I have no ######### clue. It seems like it's an original but I'm not too sure if I like that because if it is an original, it feels like they're leaning towards making the entity a character, and I don't like that.

Yea making the entity a killer would feel like adding the final boss and the game is officially " finnished"

I disagree that it said Stephen, the first letter looked like an N. Look I'd be thrilled if it were Pennywise, and it very well could be, but the artist feeling the need to speak up and clarify that their video has nothing to do with the anniversary killer is pretty telling.

    Screenshot_20260521_231124_Gallery.jpg

Well heres a closer picture of it anyway, whatever it says lol

  • @Nazzzak said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4080451#Comment_4080451

I don't think they teased Pennywise. The artist behind the video has come out and said they were hired to make a video on the Entity, nothing to do with the anniversary killer. I don't believe they even know who the killer is. The video was purely to showcase the Entity.

There was a stephen graffiti with a crown. The random 13 second video of artist's trailer emulated a scene in the it remake part 2. Im not talking about them using the word it. But everything else.

  • So far theyve teased both jason and pennywise. So either 1 of those 2 or both in 1 chapter.

  • Me and my duo are waiting for skull merchant and trickster lol

  • It makes about as much sense as generator repair animations lol

  • The engagement is there. People have went from guessing its jason to guessing its pennywise to guessing its slenderman to guessing its candyman to guessing its both jason AND pennywise in a first ever double chapter.

It beats being told its just jason or something by some leaker half a year in advance like they did that year with castlevania.

  • Looping also requires focusing more on the killer and guessing what they will do next, and reacting before it even happens ( which is where playing killers comes in). Also mind gaming where you pretend you are about to do something and their reaction time kicks in, and you end up not doing that thing but they go through with the attack and miss, like making wesker vault a window you faked going to etc.

Something else that buys me a bit more time in chase (sometimes) is weaving from side to side before a hit comes at you. Like youd judge the distance they have before they swing, and right before they reach swing distance youd turn left then sharp right, the killer might end up swinging left while you are to the right and it buys you enough time to reach a window or something. Mostly works against a killer you know is using console based on how they aim, as a mouse user can probably turn more to hit you even if they missed.

  • Wesker has always been my most hated killer in the entire game. So seeing him in 95% of the matches has made this 2v8 into a (just suffer for the dailies and go...) event. Looking forword to 1v4 again tommarow.

  • It used to be knockout and franklins demise. But both have been changed since then. Knockout used to hide downed survivor auras until someone got really close. So killers would use it to actively run around slugging the whole team.

Franklins demise used to drain your item of charges once the killer knocks it out of your hand, which was quite annoying when you bring something to help with healing speed and it just gets deleted, it also paired with Weave Attunement to be this area of effect aura minefield that was quite overpowering when the combo first came out. And youd be forced to leave your item in a corner of the map just because of the combo.

As for survivor perks there was a combo that got fixed, but it was aggravating enough to disconnect lol. For the people + buckle up. At the time buckle up would give you and the picked up survivor endurance. When combined with for the people, it allowed survivors to follow you around, and instantly pickup whoever you knocked down, right in your face and both injured targets get endurance so the chase starts all over again no matter which one you go for. Thankfully that got fixed.

That is currently bugged you can leave with him on. Its reported on the betahub bug reports.

Ah. Havent seen it myself yet. Tho i have often seen the one where you pounce dead center on someone and just... brush past them and get kicked for it lol. Happens like 15% of the time last time i played them.

i just got the killer and i enjoy them so far, but my god they struggle against a good swf or two, im gonna spend more time on them

Also victor has a "just leave" mechanic. If victor is on a survivor they cannot leave through the gate as it gets blocked for that survivor, and a couple seconds after victor is removed. So its possible to catch t baggers in a 1-2 combo if they don't leave.

  • Ive played her quite often just not at "top level" and i find shes in the same zone as xenomorph. Slightly stronger due to all the speed but generally works a little too well against 1 on 1 and gets obliterated against teamwork. Like if the team is always placing multi turret zones and always take the xeno to them in chase, not much he can do except chase without power. If they don't know how to place turrets well or together, xeno never loses power and always catches people. And in krasues case if shes chasing people 1 on 1 her vicious attacks will eventually catch people quickly but if the team starts doing 2 man chases to body block, the krasue is stuck switching out of power or taking much longer to hit someone 4 more times before they get out of the way or can go down themselves. I wouldnt mind a rework on both as they feel like their counters can make the survivor feel like they cant do anything or the killer feels like they cant do anything.

I find him super satisfying, more than any other killer iI've played. The dopamine hit I get when a prediction shot through an obstacle hits is unbeatable. It's interesting what mixed feelings people have in regards to playing him.

I just thought of a new nickname for henry : The Circle Jerk.

Though i do enjoy playing as him too lol
