Not sure if the devs have anything planned in this direction. The community right now is the most toxic thing i´ve ever encountered. Not even LoL was that toxic (at least not, back when i played it years ago). There need to be more consequences for being toxic in and after the match.
Actually season 2, 1 and before seasons were very toxic to the point riot reworked it whole report system to what it is today. INSTA BANS after 3 games.
I can only describe those communities as cesspools of toxicity now.

mhmm

I'm kinda glad rank is meaningless tbh. If rank did start to mean something that would cause even more toxicity then their is currently since higher ranked players would start rank shaming those of lower rank..

Agreed. But camping is a strategy just like any other. If the exit gates are open and all 4 survs still alive, you're damn right I'm gonna try to lure everyone into basement get some cheap kills. And likewise, survivors should be able counter it by playing smart using certain perks. Yes, SWF can this, but I have played against who refuse abandon their friend wind up getting hooked with them. think that perfectly fair. Auras different story, admittedly not lot.You are still counting on the survivors to be idiots. I never go for basement saves if it's LF even if it's the end and the gates are powered tbh. Plus lets say they for some reason they do make that change to insidious. Survivors will be demanding the old borrowed time to be brought back where both people were protected and that version was removed for a reason.

Even if it did you still would have to worry about premonition since it trumps all killer stealth abilities except tier 1 myers..
Premonition is fair though. It doesnt reveal the exact aura or position of the killer to the whole team. It is personal use only.
What would you do if all survivors start running premonition then? Again your still wasting alot of time by just camping and hoping the other survivors are idiots. Usually if i get camped like that by LF i will just suicide on the hook. Plus SWF groups will destroy your strategy.

It would be nice to have a Hex Totem that creates illusions such as false Generators on the map that if worked on it reveals your location for 10 seconds
False Survivors that if approached it also tracks your location
False Hatch that opens and if entered it teleport you to killers shack
Last but least a Hex Totem that creates multiple false Hex totemsI would also like to see a spawn preference for your totems to start out in killers shack and you have the option to move them once each
I would like it if you could choose which totem on the map will be the hex.

During the tail end of the Lunar event, I had a survivor team derp so hard, I had 3 of them destroyed before a single generator got done. The last survivor wanted to farm a lunar generator, but i refused.
So this last survivor thought it would be cute to "punish" me by stealthing the map for 15 minutes and not doing generators. (Grim Pantry, and I don't run Whispers on The Pig)
When I finally found him, I paid him back by downing them then doing slow Pig T-Bags on them while they bled out for 4 minutes.
Ahhh sweet revenge.:)

They deserve the points in my book.I'd definitely do my best to make sure they get away whenever i play survivor. I never go into a match without out borrowed time as one of my perks.

I can sandbag your butt all day long. I can actually join in on your gen and purposely miss skill checks. I can heal you at in opportune times. I can vault windows while you try to work the gen in the shack.
Scummy is there for the taking.
As long as I get out of the match, that's the end game. Whether you see another day or not, concerns me none.
It shouldn't be the devs job to take away freedoms, because they are unpopular.
If you guys don't like me wasting every pallet, I guess its up to you guys to make sure the Killer finds me and punishes me, but wait a second that would mean doing scummy things to get me caught, now wouldn't it.
Then i will just camp you and let everyone else go. Trash like you deserves everything that comes your way sweety.
Like I said before, I'd like a conversation about this, without name calling and the like.
Now how long would you let everyone else go?, if there was one guy in every game that played that way. Would you continue to take the hit , BP and Emblem wise? Every game you'd just depip and and accept a crappy BP reward? Because you know, that alone would be a reward to some people. And justification to playing scummy.
There is always that possibility of getting tunneled by the Killer (I've done that exact thing). But for every Killer like us, there are many more that would take the guaranteed BPs and hook without even thinking about who it is. After all they are actually in it to win it solo.
And to just clear this up, I do not play the way I'm defending. But I do believe that if there are people out there who want to play to make sure THEY survive, then they should be allowed to. And if they want to unhook people in hopes that they get wiped out, then more power to them.
You make it sound as if being a douchebag to others inn game is acceptable. In real life people like that don't last long and either end up in the morgue as a corpse or worse. In this game selfish survivors often don't last even a minute i can guarantee you that.

I do not have to out run the Killer, I just have to out run you applies. Sandbagging is a thing and if that's how you want to play that's your right.
Now after watching the latest Q&A, they say they are looking at punishing unsafe unhooks. This goes against the freedom of playing scummy. If its down to me and you and I want to unhook you so that hopefully you go down again quicker, and let the hatch spawn so I can get out that should be a option.
How many people have just waited while the second last guy struggles and dies so you can grab the hatch. Loads of us have.
Like real life the game is filled with lots of personality types, the work together types and the let the world burn just so long as I escape types. I do not think that survivors that are in it for themselves should be punished point wise for being "that guy".
When it comes down to it, if the game only let one person leave a match, we would all be cut-throat. Why do we need to punish people who don't wish to play "for the team"?
Have you been on the receiving end of being farmed? I'm just going let that sink in for a second.
I have, and believe it or not, I'm fine with it. I re-up and play again, and maybe this time I don't get hooked. And the changes aren't going to stop you getting farmed by these people. It just means they are punished for playing one of the ways that is supposed to be allowed.
Are they going to start giving out point reductions for sandbagging, and other questionable survivor antics? How about they get reductions for dropping a pallet outside of heart beat?
Let people play the game their way. I for one do not think taking away points from survivors that are in it to win it for themselves is the right thing to do.

I agree with OP, but I still think the devs need to adjust some other things first before their planned changes come to the live build.
That is what the ptb is for. Go give meaningful constructive feedback when a playable build is available. Honestly the devs are at least trying there best and you know what? Be glad they actually give a damn about their game unlike most small developers who flood steam with unplayable garbage that rarely gets fixed at all.

@Sally55 I doubt it would apply to the Pig, as the effects are applied as long as the survivor wears the helmet. Tho it sure would turn a LOT of add-ons into pure slugging add-ons, which isn't quite interesting.
Not to mention the effect on The Third Seal, an already Hilarious perk, that would become even more pointless.I agree. Third seal will basically become a waste of a perk slot. My concern is that this will bug out the RBT and cause status afflictions to be cleared even if the helmet is still on.

@Runiver said:
Hello, first, make sure to watch this, if you haven't.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zw-ReSg0Ol4- Secondary objectives are a good idea. No project for it after 2 years of it being asked, however, is rather disappointing and doesn't make us think anything is gonna happen before at least 6 months, which isn't very promising to say the least.
- "Kindred" as passive for all survivors is just a buff to all survivors, including SWF. It's not closing the gap that much. Especially since Aura is WAY superior info than voicecom in general "I'm going for the save" is way different than being able to see who's the closest, who should go for the save and such. Not to mention the lack of mindgames and faster reaction of the team, and better coordination, which will make the survivor's team way more efficient, while it could have given room for snowballing before.
- WGLF not giving stacks & BP for unsafe unhook sounds pretty allright. May just force a BT pick but at least it'll give the hooked a chance in that scenario.
- Invincibility frame while being unhooked could do. But as not_queen stated : I'm not sure if you should unhook in the killer's face in the first place. Not sure why you would reward that.
- Faster unhook cancelling, I'm not sure why it should even be a thing. It sure is a room for more "mindgames" for survivors, and sure would help against camping to some extent, but it would also help with Bullying to some extent. Not sure why a HOOK mindgame should be survivor oriented. It's also a pretty huge nerf on Doc's grabbing, and most grabbing in general obviously.
- Dead Hard buff : a more responsive DH would be cool for survs. Tho, predicting it/being predicted while using it shouldn't be buffed, because that's the cost of it being on an activation button rather than automatic.
- Pallet stun speed increase : Could prove to be an issue, as it will transform a lot of mindgames into simple reflexes. While the survivor had to PREDICT to some extent (similarly to what the killer has to do, basically predict the survivor won't drop the pallet), now it may just allow reflexes to be enough. Not to mention a lot of experienced survivors are already hovering at the far end of the pallet, walking back and forward to make it a feint, that could be punished before that possible change, and may just not be, after it. Not to mention the looping aspect of the buff.
- Bloodlust nerf : As I stated above, that you probably read, as long as windows are so strong and lacking so much mindgames in several spots in the game, I doubt it would be changed. I can understand that BL3 is an issue as you can easily "cheese" a hit at some pallets using it, which is definitely wrong, but it also prevent extensive use of the same exact windows in succession. Basically punishes brainless play and force survivors to use SAFE pallets in order to pay for their extensive use of strong windows (that usually require no mindgames as they give full vision over the killer, and are usually surrounded by a lot of safe pallets anyway, aka Coal Tower entry pallet). Removing BL3 entirely sounds like a better option, overall, than nerfing BL2 speed, if you truly want to nerf something. You could easily imagine a simple time reduction (like 12-13s instead of 15) to get bloodlust, and only make it to have 2 levels, with the current values.
- The "Trap disarming" feature sounds very useless, as more traps are placed in tight corridors, and the disarming survivor will block the passage anyway. If the trap is not in a corridor, you can easily get past it considering the super small trap hitbox anyway. I'm not sure what's the thinking behind that, but I don't see any scenario when it could become handy to have that "feature". I'm not even sure survivors deserve it considering Trapper is far from being a huge threat, even post-buff, compared to the state you may want to bring him.
- The Statut reset/exhaustion recovery upon unhooking sounds both unnecessary and counterproductive. Unless you want Sprint burst to become even stronger. Not to mention it would make, in the case of you cancelling the "Mangled" status, to make a lot of add-ons to become obsolete. For example, the Billy Very rare Begrimed Saw and such, which would solely become Slugging tools. It's basically a nerf of its possibilities and strength that should at least be adressed/advised.
What's your opinion folks ?
I feel that the status reset on hook isn't a good thing. Say the pig uses her add-on's to give the trapped survivor blindness and exhaustion. They now will be rendered useless and you just wasted two add-on slots for nothing.

All the credit in the world to you for playing Nurse. I've seen really good ones in the red ranks. The best anticipate where the survivor will go. How do you find it now after 2.0 as oppose to before. It was never great but, i'm not crazy right the frame rate will drop out of nowhere.
For me my frame rate is kinda worse after 2.0. Sometimes my frame rate has a stroke when i use blink on certain maps but i have little issues with other maps. One time i had a massive frame rate drop that ended up crashing the app in the middle of a game where i was absolutely slaying lol. Overall i have had no issues before 2.0 but that patch has caused me to have a bit more trouble using blink.

What do you guys think about this mechanic?I was trying to think about some of the mechanics that assists SWF to be stronger than it should when this came to mind.
When slugged, that person needs someone to come rescue them so it makes sense that healthy/injured survivors can see the slugged aura but what is the point of the other way around? If you are playing solo, you can't share information anyway so what is the point of being able to see auras? Besides crawling towards them.
Some of the possible scenarios I can think of because of this:
1). Knock Out: When facing solo queue survivors, it reduces the effectiveness of Knock Out since instead of forcing survivors to look for the slug, he can just crawl towards them.
2). 2 or 3 players SWF: When facing 2-3 players SWF, they can communicate a lot of information to each other whenever they are downed. Like if their random teammates are doing gens, cleasing totems, etc. If they are left slugged for a few seconds, they can safely guide their friend during an approach for a heal. They can see if someone is being chased before that person is hit. In a 2 player SWF, they can just say stuff like "do gens, random guy is coming to pick me up already" instead of forcing their buddy to waste time by moving towards him.
3). Trolling: Multiple times I've played against a killer that had a friend playing survivor, he would slug that person and use this unlimited range aura mechanic to pin-point the location of the rest of the team so that killer could catch us without having to kill his buddy. Of course this situation is also possible with Bond but just to add it to the list and not everyone has all survivors leveled up.
Needless to say the amount of unbalance it brings to a 4 men squad with coms.
Just food for thought, not suggesting a nerf or rework to this mechanic. My intention is to see more opinions about this, since my view can be limited and people might use it for other scenarios or whatever.
