I did pull them out of the locker I did pick them up and drop them 3 times but when you do that you still get stunned buddy and he hopped right back into the locker.I was finally able to pull him somewhere without a locker built up blood lust has he jumped over a pallet thousands of times got the tombstone proc and during the start of the animation he Disconnected.
Under those circumstances i think some slight changes could be implemented by the devs in order to prevent this level of abuse without removing a core gameplay feature like you suggest. If you are tier 3 myers with a tombstone addon if a survivor is incapped on the ground you should be able to mori them without them standing in the same way as if you brought the mori offering. To prevent them from robbing you of the mori via disconnecting once you start the mori it cannot be stopped by quiting the game. Regardless if the survivor stays or not the mori will finish to completion before the game ends.
Also tip of advice. Its not a wise idea to post someones steam profile on here. That is naming and shaming and you are dangerously approaching the fine line of witch hunting which is a good way to get a permaban.

I typically farm when there is a bloodpoint event going on. The easiest way to farm and make sure everyone is on board is to change your name to Farming Killer or something along those lines and add everyone in the lobby so that they get the message. The ones that are onboard will usually stay and use point offerings etc. Just dont force anyone to farm if they dont want to. Some people like to leave and that is fine. I usually get a 4 man team that is happy to farm and we all walk away with plenty of points.

Not an argument, hiding behind a gen isn’t a counter to bbq, I can’t control other survivors who can’t loop either and get downed with 10 seconds. Unless you can get gud and 4k without bbq your opinion is irrelevant.
Its all the argument that is needed. Good survivors dont come to the forums crying Hillbilly OP plz nerf. I dont have a problem at all playing against the Hillbilly with BBQ and alot of people on these forums dont have an issue with it either. There is plenty of counters to use against the Hillbilly with BBQ. Most notably the mind games if you dont have a gen near by that you can hide your Aura.
- If the Billy is far away when he hooks someone and there is no gen near by you can fake your direction. The Billy is going to have to anticipate your location when he gets near you. Its not hard to throw him for a loop.
- Put solid objects between you and when he hooks someone. The Billy under most circumstances has terrible maneuverability when sprinting if there is alot of debris and buildings near you put yourself between them so that he dosent have a straight shot to you. It will force him to stop the sprint and enter cool down allowing you more time to sneak away
- The Billy only gets BBQ aura reading when a survivor is 40 meters away at the point he hooks someone if the perk is tier 3. 40 meters is a large distance. 8 meters greater than his base terror radius. If you see him put someone down and he is going to pick them up haul ass to his location. I can promise that unless your in the ass end of the other side of the map you will get within 40 meters of him before the hook. If you cant get within 40 meters then you were to far away anyways and should refer to the last two points.
Seriously this ######### isen't rocket science. So yes, G.I.T.G.U.D
Do you know what people would do if hillbilly actually wasn't a problem with BBQ and I posted this? They wouldn't even bother acknowledging my post because they'd know I was wrong, everyone here seems to be defending BBQ and billy vehemently, why is that so? If it wasn't a problem you wouldn't be here, defending it. There is no effective counter to aura reading, walking one direction for 5 seconds still gives him a general idea of your location and your not sprint-bursting out of the area without leaving scratchmarks. Sure you could try urban evading if your lucky but he will either eventually find you and if not he will simply fly back to the hook the second someone is unhooked and they are not getting far with blood pools, let alone trying to sprint away leaves scratch-marks for him to follow.
Lol so you think coming to the Dead By Daylight forums and making a thread advocating for a ridiculous nerf to arguably the most balanced killer in this game wont get attention? That because people have come here to show you why you are wrong and tell you why that is, it some how means you are actually right because in your mind if you were truly wrong people would just ignore this thread? That is probably the stupidest thing i have honestly read in the last month.
- Hiding behind a gen works 100% of the time if you position yourself correctly therefore it is an effective counter
- Walking in one direction and then doubling back and or hiding works the vast majority of the time especially if you put solid objects between you and the Billy. Granted this strategy also requires using stealth which is some how a difficult concept for people to grasp
- Getting within 40 meters of the Billy is the defacto best counter to BBQ. Seriously, Its not hard. You hold shift and move towards the killer until you are within the terror radius or just before. It counters BBQ 100% under all circumstances.
You refuse to acknowledge these facts and the great deal of disagreement and hostility you are encountering is because your stubborn, ignorance refuses to take the advice and better yourself as a player. The people that complain about Hillbilly are ass at the game that wants a 1v1 in a 4v1 asymmetrical game. God forbid the killer be a powerful foe! The problem here isen't the Hillbilly or BBQ is to strong, its that your just a weak player and instead of learning the counters and adapt to the circumstances at hand you resolve to crying for nerfs. People like you is what got Freddy gutted.
My statement stands.

The devs have been crystal clear on this. They will not implement a system that punishes camping. They tried to do that before and it failed miserably. A big part of this game is killer agency. The killer can kill you in any way that they see fit so long as they do not cheat. I understand why people get frustrated when they get camped but it is an intended part of this game. Just pick yourself up, accept that you lost and move onto your next game.

Pop Goes the weaselIts a great perk but only shaves off 25% of the gen. I am looking at the 1:1 gen regression being a base ability for all killers to give them more control over the gens and hopefully reduce the necessity of ruin over the long run.
I agree with you, but at the same time, I can't help but be concerned. Let's be real, a lot of killers at high ranks run Hex: Ruin because they want to slow the game down. Let's say you implement this buff to killers and now gens regress at the full speed. Who's to say that the majority of killers wouldn't keep bringing Hex: Ruin into their games? As a survivor main, I can't help but be concerned for the killers. You see, in the event that Hex: Ruin is played and not instantly found, upon discovering the hex most survivors will drop everything in a mad search to look for it. This leads to a complete lack of generator regression usually and as a subsequent result mass defeat. If too many four kills happen at certain ranks some survivors will not rise to the challenge and take to whining with data supporting the age-old claim of "Killers too OP" now present. This could lead to undue nerfs and potentially survivors leaving the game. While I understand that the appalling conditions killers used to have to endure drove many to abandon ship I sincerely feel that we need to preserve survivor numbers more. This is simply because you need 4 survivors to start a game and only one killer. I've played enough killer to know that current survivor supply =/= current killer lobby demand.
Honestly, they should buff it slowly. Add in a bit over time every three months with the patches. Perhaps then it will be more stable.
I agree with what you have said especially regarding Hex: Ruin. If the game is lengthened in any way regardless of the means the contemporary Hex: Ruin will be Meta regardless. If there was say a 1:1 ratio applied to the regression and it appears to be effective at slowing the game and controlling the gens then Hex: Ruin would need to be looked at and adjusted and or reworked.

Upping it to 0.5 per second would be more reasonable and 1 per second with a Perk.Perhaps 0.5 per second would be good at base and then maybe Brutal Strength could make it 1:1?

@TessaTheDeath said:
If I'm not mistaken, Overcharge makes gens regress faster. Considering this, I don't think that the gen regression time should be chaged.Overcharge simply applies a difficult skill check to the generator where if it is failed it blows the gen and regresses it by a small percentage. It does not effect the overall regression of the gen while it is kicked.

I'm more in favor of letting them try the longer healing first before we talk about touching the gens right now.We have plenty of tools to slow down gens right now as it is.
I agree. Lets see how that goes first but my gut tells me it wont be enough. If it turns out to not be enough would you be in support of a 1:1 parallel progression/regression or in general is it a bad idea?
-
Its only good for meme builds. Other than that it is useless. As a stand alone perk the values are to low. Its just like thanataphobia. Values are to low to make a difference.
-
Why are you getting upset about getting face camped? Am i the only one in this game that no longer gets upset about it? The killer made the decision to ensure you die. He has every right to do that. It is his perogative as killer to play how he wants so long as he does not break the rules. Just accept your defeat and move on to another game. Dont come here to the forums and complain about how you got face camped yadda yadda. No one wants to hear it.

I agree selfcare needs to be nerfed but it most certainly should not be removed. As i have posted in other threads regarding this matter i think selfcare would be good if it applied a no mither effect. You still limp, you drop no blood, you dont grunt in pain and you still go down in one hit. With that in mind you could buff the healing speed back to 12 seconds. Selfcare would still remain a useful perk until a team mate heals you but the nice thing about it for the killers is that it keeps the pressure. You are still injured with no easy way to heal. That makes the killer a much greater threat.
I also liked the devs idea aswell. Granted it was alot more simplistic but forcing a survivor to commit too the heal or lose all progress was not a bad idea.
-
I would love to see how she would do with tracking perks. Since currently you cant see survivors in the phase walk i can see predator + sloppy butcher being really good on her when she is phase walking.

I think she is cool but she needs a buff to her power in order to be a viable killer. Wouldn't be a bad idea if she could see snap shots of the survivors every few seconds while haunting similar to how the survivor see snap shots of freddy while dream transitioning. This would make the use of her power more precise and help alot in the chase.True True. I think the reason she does not see survivors is so that she nots super OP so there is more skill to play her (Which i think its good).
If she could see them full time i think it would be OP but snap shots would be a happy medium. Her power has the potential to hard counter pallet looping like the nurse. With a small buff she could be a meta tier killer and that is something we need because i am getting sick of the top 3 killers.

I like that idea of surveillance showing the aura of all survivors working on a gen within a 32 meter range. Basically if you are working on a gen within 32 meters of the killer, the killer will see your aura. Would work a hell of alot better with the pig and would also be a good perk for low terror radius killers like Hag, Michael, and Wraith

With the latest balance patch it is now impossible to derank yourself back to the lower ranks. Once you pass Rank 10 you are stuck there unless you stop playing the game for many months (seasons). The farthest you can derank yourself is rank 10.Its actually rank 15, or has that been changed already?
looking at the patch notes again i think you may be right. I think i may have just misread them.
-
Once they reach the end of the road map they will likely just continue on as usual. So long as there is money to be made there will be no reason to stop releasing updates, characters and cosmetics. DBD is still in a state that is unsatisfactory with balance. Alot of issues still need to be addressed and it wont all be fixed by the end of this road map guaranteed. If the devs just stopped supporting the game full stop come spring and called DBD complete it would kill the game.
-
There is many ideas as a way to nerf selfcare. I originally proposed that we buff the self care healing speed back to normal and then instead of the selfcare being a complete heal it puts you in a no mither state. You dont drop blood, you still limp and your grunts of pain are heavily reduced and you still go down in one hit. This effectively makes it a good enough heal cobbled together with what you find in the environment until you can get proper medical attention.
In addition to that i would buff the selfcare medkit healing efficiency just enough so that you can get 2 full self heals out of a brown medkit. This in effect encourages players to make trade offs. If you want full self heals without other peoples help you need to bring a medkit.

I think the new killer will be a sweaty Weeaboo with his dollar store Katana and greasy fedora.
-
It baffles me that the DBD devs dont focus on making viable killers. Like others have mentioned every killer should be made and balanced with rank 1 gameplay in mind. Viability and fun in my opinion are cut from the same cloth. If a killer is not viable how on earth can he be fun to play. This game is trying to move towards being a real competitive game but you cant have this be a good competitive game if one side is gimped with gameplay limitations that hinders the skill of the player from shining. A killer to me will never be fun to play unless they are viable even if their unique power is interesting.

It would be cool if maybe they created another realm of lerys. I imagine something like a large court yard that would be snowy.

When you burn an event offering, you get more points from hooks and generators. Even if you don't touch an event generator, when it is done, you get more points. It is not counted as extra so you are able to have more than 32k.
Ok then. The first time i see this.
I think it was the same case with the lunar event aswell. It was possible to get more than 32k points per match since completing lunar objectives had its own point category.

The problem with your perk idea is how it would actually be implemented. Your way sounds fine, what I see BHVR doing is making it work like Thrill of the Hunt. So if the Hex spawns in a bad spot you've wasted a slot.Ye they would probably try and make it a hex. If it was a straight up hex the perk would be redundant. Maybe slightly better than ruin given it cant be worked around by hitting great skill checks but with the terrible RNG of totems it would still be a joke.

It doesn't even have to be a perk. I just want something to slow the game down that is reliable.

Unfortunately this wont do anything to stop OchiDo. OchiDo makes money off of playing Dead By Daylight via Twitch and YouTube. Ochido could make 10 new accounts on 10 separate computers and the devs could ban everyone but he wouldent care because the money he makes more than pays for it. I am sure he would look at it like a business expense more than anything. The devs cant really do anything more. We just have to hope that OchiDo does something stupid that gets his Twitch or YouTube banned because hitting those accounts are the only way he will disappear. Banevading is definitely a reason to be perma banned on twitch. Not sure why they haven't done anything so far
After the witch hunting fiasco i am surprised Twitch didn't given him the axe right there. He should consider himself lucky. Looking at the various rules of twitch you can see he has violated quite a bit of them especially under the harassment section.

I like @Peanits gas can suggestion. I have suggested the same thing before and so have others. It would be very straight forward thing to implement and would help slow the game and add interesting new play styles to spice things up a bit. With respect to new players a few things can be done. First the new secondary objective could be implemented in the tutorial section. It would detail how to find gas, what you do when you have acquired the gas and what you do afterwards. Additionally to help new players out we can adjust the difficulty of the trials based on rank. With the recent patch each set of ranks have been locked off once you pass a certain rank. It is impossible to derank into rank 20 - 16 as an example. This is the noob ranks and given this fact we could adjust some things to make it more noob friendly. Maybe at the noob ranks there is more fuel cans, maybe when you get within 8 meters of a fuel can it has an aura and it wouldent be a bad things to perhaps have some little tips on the side of the screen to help the player out.
