I have been playing with Shadowborn for a while now and i have to say the current Shadowborn FOV in my opinion should be the base FOV for all killers. Going back to not using Shadowborn makes me feel sick and almost claustrophobic. The base FOV is absolutely terrible. Allow killers to have the current Shadowborn as base and then re purpose Shadowborn for something else. If that is not a possibility atleast increase the FOV to some degree because where it sits now is horrific.its called first person for a reason
What? Just because its a first person perspective does not mean the FOV has to be so terrible.

@Tzeentchling9 summed it up perfectly. If your looking to farm deviousness (not a hard thing to do even without distressing) then its great for that however as a standalone perk its pretty useless and may actually work against you. It only really works well on builds that are centered around the terror radius. Doctor being the one killer that benefits the most from it since he can have an almost map wide terror radius with the right addons.

Nurse is the only killer that reaches a 2k average ina competitive setting
The devs consider a 2 k average balanced. You can stealth against doctor, especially since calm spirit has been reworked
wait are you serious? you think the nurse is balanced... Ive been playing this game long time and its no secret that getting rank 1 isnt hard to do on either killer or survivor been there multiply times... You actually believe the nurse is balanced?
Under competitive circumstances nurse is the only killer that stands a chance. If you have a death squad going full try hard she is the only one that can handle it. Nurse if perfect where she is. What needs to be looked at is her addons. Her 4 and 5 blink addons simply need to go. 2 blinks is all any good nurse needs and 3 should be the ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM.

If we got dedicated servers would MLGA even be an issue anymore?
-
I also woulden't mind seeing the cypress mori integrated as a base feature, the ivory mori dropped a rarity tier from green to yellow and then removing ebony mori's altogether.
-
Personally there is a great deal of addons/offerins that could serve to be removed or reworked because they are so useless. We saw an example of my idea for the wreath/sachet offerings when the devs removed the brown and yellow map offerings in exchange for just the green ones.

Would be a good qol improvement, but i dont see it happening. If i remember correctly I THINK the devs said something about increasing killer FOV in one of their QandA vids but then again the devs say alot of things that never materialize. Regardless it is something we all could really use.
-
Remove the sabo hooks option to get nuts, screws and bolts and replace it with other objects so that we dont get a sabotage meta cancer. Example: instead of the hooks make it possible to get these objects by searching objects around the map besides just totems and chests. Maybe on auto haven you can open up the hood on one of the ruined vehicles and salvage engine parts, or in Lerys you can break apart the gurneys and TV's for some parts, etc.

LOL. I got the image saved right on my desktop for quick access.

This is all you need OP and your issues will disappear.

Shes another mediocre killer unfortunately. Interesting power but she wont be viable in the red ranks. I am saving up my shards so i can buy her though. Just like the clown i am only really interested in her perks.

- Something that causes the Broken status effect for 120 seconds. (so long, because survivor gets hooked afterwards and the time ticks)
- Lumber Jack: removes the stun effect when hitting obstacles.
- Surprise Motherf...: Being able to switch chainsaw stance on Billy, he can use his chainsaw like Leatherface
- Full charge: Leatherface doesn´t lose his charge when releasing his chainsaw to early (this should actually be part of his base kit)
I like the idea of something causing the broken effect. Maybe Iridescent chains?

The Hillbilly hands down. Most of the killers in our roster started out as normal people with normal lives. They usually went bad as a result of their environment and upbringing. The Hillbilly aka Max Thompson Jr. was stuffed in a walled off room the moment he was born. He is the pure definition of a feral human being. He is intelligent yet its very likely he is not capable of speech because of his isolation. While most killers were normal at one point the Hillbilly never was. He knows one thing and one thing only. Violence on an unimaginable level. His whole world has been violence. He has an unquenchable thrist to kill everything he sees and he is a master of wielding the Chainsaw.
If the Hillbilly was after me in real life i would be paralyzed in fear. There is not a spark of humanity left in him. Just an animistic desire to kill with his brutal saw.
-
I am on board with the second idea. I wager it would be alot easier to implement and it would discourage abusing the flashlight to BM. You can still do it but at great expense of the flashlights charges. It would then be a pick your poison situation.
-
Hillbilly needs a standalone cowboy hat cosmetic. I know with one of the DLC's you can buy the outfit his father wore which includes a denim jacket and cowboy hat however it would be nice to just have a regular ol' stetson.
-
Noobs need one thing and one thing only.

No. Why would it be bad?

That is the textbox reasoning of a child. Who cares what some killers said or did to you. I really hate the DLC shards. They pollute the bloodweb ultra rare RNG. They should simply be removed. They might have been a good idea at one point but a better system could be implemented to let people test out DLC killers. With the store now we could instead make DLC trials purchasable with shards. Say 1000 shards buys you a one time 2hr trial period of the killer. (2 hours specifically in a game killing survivors) This would give people an opportunity to test out a killer and it would not pollute the bloodweb....just ignore it?
You cant ignore it. You can choose not to buy it which is what i do but it still wastes the ultra rare rng.

No you may not face camp without some form of repercussion. Let's be honest, if you do that you're asking for it. You can't sit there camping your killer matches and think survivors aren't going to get pissed about it then you want them banned for having an opinion of your scummy gameplay? nope sorry better luck next time! (act like a scum bag get treated like one)Lol, you get caught then blame the killer for catching you.
Yeah, firmly rooted in sound reasoning.
Has absolutely nothing to do with being caught and hooked but if a killer is going to blatantly face camp then why cry about survivors putting crap on him about it post match? makes no sense.
Because its pointless and stupid. Accept your defeat and move on. You have to sit in the post game lobby waiting for the match to end just so you can get a witty remark in on how trash the killer is? Its not hard to click leave and join another match.
You're now assuming that one would just kill themselves on the hook instead of struggle to see if somebody will help? Don't make assumptions about me or anybody that has been face camped before you make yourself look like a total douche bag. It's got nothing to do with "waiting around until post match to make a witty remark" take your head from your backside buddy you're not as entitled as you think you are.
I assumed you would kill yourself on the hook? Where in my post do i imply you would suicide on hook? Also i am curious to know how the word entitled applies to anything i just said. What about me makes me entitled?
I am not going to repeat myself.

Another mid tier killer. The devs are creative with the powers when it comes to original killers but all the killers we have been getting for the last year have been solid mid tier at the very best. I want to see another killer that can run in the ranks of the top 3 meta. It doesn't have to be a beast mode like the nurse but something more along the lines of Billy/huntress. A fun, viable killer that gives the competitive side of the game more flair and choice.

It does look like they are moving through the whole roster of killers and giving their addons a look. Maybe then we will see it. I just find it odd they didn't mention anything more on it. It just sort of faded into the background.

-
Been a month now and we still havent heard anything yet about them buffing the charge times to compensate for the loss of the old tinkerer. McClean mentioned they would do this during the QA before the mid chapter patch and still nothing.
-
No to your suggestion on pick up times and increasing gen times. With the old 4.3 second pickup it was just to damn easy to score a flashlight save. You could park your ass in a safe spot and just sprint burst out of the wood works and hit the killer with your laser beam. It was to much of a window and made playing against high rank survivors frustrating. It is not fun as the killer to easily lose your well earned catch. With the shortened pickup animation the flashlight user has to expose themselves to much more risk if they want to pull off the save making flashlight saves a much more clutch event rather than a consistent means of denying the killer his hook.
To your second suggestion on gen times the killer inside of me says yes but my rational side says no. Simply increasing gen times is not a good idea. Holding m1 for 80 seconds is already incredibly boring. Holding it for 2 minutes for each gen would test my patience. No doubt the games need to go slower but it needs to be done in a fun, interactive way so that both parties enjoy the trial not just one.
In effect both of your suggestions are not supportive of a fun experience for both survivor or killer. Killers hate losing their prey to bullshit flashlight saves and survivors hate how tedious gens feel. You are looking at this from the lens of a balanced game for both parties and i respect that but simple tweaks in values will not get us there.

The only thing that needs to be balanced on the blinky girl is her addons. At base nurse is right where she needs to be. 2 blinks is all any good nurse needs. Her 3 blink addon should be made an ultra rare and the 4 and 5 blink ones reworked.

Make it so she can use her charged lunge to move across the map quickly? That's all the change I want.

If i was to buff the pig i would have the RBT already on the survivors heads at the start of the trial. That way everyones first objective is to try and get the RBT off rather than slam the gens.
Hmm, maybe an add on that does that. I enjoy putting on the traps too much. :P
How about an Ultra Rare that makes the Obsession spawn with it? It'd be similar to the Black Box.
The thing is with Freddy that gives the location of the one you want to hit with Remember Me at the get go. The Pig's trap doing that would just lead you to patrolling the puzzle boxes instead of generators or headed right for your obsession.
The chance of them getting the trap off right away while you're looking at the wrong boxes would probably end up as a time waster more often than not.
But with a tweak or two it could be a fun thing. :>
I like the idea of it being an Ultra rare addon. That would be an interesting change.

That's a really stupid suggestion. So everyone should start in freddy's dream world to huh? Glad you're not on the balance team.
Explain why it is stupid. You need to give specifics. The traps would not be armed they would simply be on your heads at the start which leaves you with the choice to do a gen now and activate your trap at the start or get it off immediately. Why are you afraid of the RBT? The traps are almost a joke and easy to get off.

Yeah a balanced idea for an unbalanced killer, sorry you want every match to require no brain to play and just down everyone within 15 seconds of a chase.
Balanced in your mind but to those on this forum without delusions on what is considered balanced your idea would make her worse than freddy lol
If you can't keep track of a survivor during a blind 2 second blink then you deserve to lose them. Nurse and billy are overpowered in their current state, other killers are relatively balanced besides Freddie. They are the goal the game should strive for, not more killers who don't require any skill to play in the long run.
Virtually no one agrees with you. If your changes were implemented there would not be enough people left to play killer. Dont fool yourself. You know nothing of what is and is not balance.

The nurse needs no nerfs. She received plenty of nerfs since her introduction. Where she sits now is fine. The only nerfs i would ever consider for her is some of her addons. The 4 and 5 blink addons should be removed or reworked completely and her no down side 3 blink addon should be an ultra rare. With regards to her base form she is golden.

It would be nice if the killer could choose where the hexes are placed. I know it would take a huge amount of time and effort for the devs, but it would be interesting if during the loading screen, the killer can customize the where their hex perk(s) go. This can work in one of two ways, both of which gives the killer an advantage over the survivors by knowing the terrain in advance. The killer would be given 30 seconds to free roam the map at 300% speed before the survivors spawn in. In this time, they would be completely unable to use their powers, and be able to see the auras of generators and hooks (places to avoid placing their hexes). The killers would be able to place the hex totems in a place of their choosing, requiring the hex perks be placed a certain distance away from each other (so they can't be clustered together). Placing a hex totem would work exactly like a Trapper placing his traps. Once the 30 seconds are over, the killer's vision will be masked and will be loaded into their spawn point. Any unplaced hex totems will then be randomly placed. Perhaps make killers always spawn in the basement (also for them to know exactly where it is), and have hex perks required to be placed a certain distance away from the basement.
The killer would be given 30 seconds to see a map of the trial. The map would show the location of all generators and hooks, and there would be dozens of circles of places hex totems could be placed (in the case of The Game, the top and bottom floors would show up side-by-side. The killer can select a circle, and the designated hex perk will spawn there. If the killer has more than one hex perk, the next hex would require it be placed a certain distance away from the first. After 30 seconds, the map goes away, and any unplaced hex totems will then be randomly placed.
Option A would allow the killer to attempt to make the hex totems hidden, whereas Option B would assign it to the general area. I'll be frank, as a survivor main, the totems have some crappy spawn points. I feel bad when hex totems can be found out in the open, like there was no attempt at all for the game to conceal it.
+1 this would be amazing. If the killer could choose the spawn point it would fix the issue with totems being RNG nightmares. I know damn well i could find a better place for a totem then on top of a hill or next to generators.

I'm also having a bit of doubt towards the OP. From the sounds of hit he enjoys when killers let him and others go so they have easier times. To me this just screams amateur killer. Personally to me, good killers are those that strive to be the best and give no quarter. That's what I strive to be when playing this game. This then results in survivors getting salty and of course spouting their toxic bullshit that we're all used to.
Edit: I know this is gonna end in people replying to me with anger and impoliteness but whatevs :P
Oh I'm aware of that. I was one of those nice killers that farmed with survivors when only 2 loaded into the match. I let them get points and escape. In return I mostly got insults and reports. Yes, survivors are not really grateful and deserve everything that comes their way.
I second this. When i first started playing killer i was an entitled survivor main. I went in thinking i am going to be a nice killer. Respect the 4%, dont camp and tunnel, let the last person have the hatch, etc. That changed when the survivors started to abuse my goodwill and generosity by flaming me in chat and spreading hate. Its a double edged sword. Damned if you do damned if you dont. They will be salty regardless. Atleast i no longer show mercy. Survivors deserve no mercy.

If you want to save, let's say, 10kk for the new character, you actually can't. If you reach the cap of 1kk, you need then to waste the BP on characters you already levelled, or on characters you are not interested to spend BPs on.
That means you are literally wasting BPs on something you do not want to waste BPs on, instead of saving it for a new character, which increases the time you put in levelling sain new character.
+1 can confirm. if i am not ready to Prestige a killer because i still have addons and offerings i want to use first before i take the dive and i am at a million BP i am forced to dump them into other characters that i have no interest in playing. RSB is correct when he says the Bloodpoint cap increases the grind by forcing you to waste your points on characters you will never use.
