No. But all wraiths and nemesis are
Tunnelling with Nemesis makes sense tbf. Infecting multiple people does very little and trying to down someone without using the tentacle is difficult at some tiles. If he does go for multiple people rather then tunnelling then he'll likely lose. Hitting multiple Survivors three times is a recipe for a guaranteed 3 man out. So, he's kinda forced to tunnel vision one or two people. If he doesn't, then bye bye gens.

Being able to go invisible whenever I want would be pretty sick I think. I considered blighted corruption but I was reminded that the serum really messes people up so I'd rather not, lol.

She is decent but she is also pretty boring, at least in my opinion. For much of the game, she's just an M1 killer who can keep people injured. Not exactly exciting stuff. When she actually gets the corrupt purge then yeah, she's pretty fun. She's only going to use it once or twice usually though.

If someone's raging on the game in post-game, as long as they aren't being offensive or throwing out slurs, just let them vent. They're clearly stressed out from the match or previous ones, and letting off the steam can help them mentally. Don't demoralize them further by being an ass and calling them a crybaby. You don't know what they deal with, so you don't know how bad the match affected them. They play the game to let off steam, then it just gets them stressed further by the actions of the other players.
In my experience, someone complaining in post game chat without being rude to someone who was in the match is extraordinarily rare. A lot of the time, people's anger is targeted at a specific player, typically the Killer or a particular Survivor. Although, people raging at their teammates isn't super uncommon either, especially if the teammate made a mistake or two. If I'm directly insulted then I'll typically just ask them to calm down or leave. Only exception is if that person is being beyond unpleasant.

I don't get it. I read it everywhere, especially in competetive games. I suggest, tryhard means "play to win". Who does not want to win? That's the reason to play competitively.
I think when people say 'Tryhard', many seem to say it to try and insult their opponent for winning in a 'sweaty' way. However, I'd argue that there is some legitimatcy to the term when used in a different context. When I think of a Tryhard, I think of a person who uses EVERY possible means to win. That includes using a strong killer or a strong item with the best add-ons and the best perks. They'd likely also use a map offering to further increase their odds of winning. An example of this could be a swf who burns an offering for Haddonfield and brings loadouts especially to abuse that as much as possible.
9 times out of 10 though, 'Tryhard' is just used as a petty insult because someone lost fair and square but are upset about it.

Oblivious is not useless. Just by virtue of hiding the red stain, it makes a killer deadlier in several tiles. It also makes it a lot easier for you to creep closer to survivors and prevent them from gaining distance before the chase even starts. Some killers use M&A for that same purpose.
What makes oblivious seems useless to killers is unless you're very conscious of your build it's easy to lose track of survivors that are affected by it, unlike undetectable that provides the visual effect. A simple way to fix that would be some HUD effect on survivors' portraits that alert the killer who's suffering from oblivious.
As far as I'm aware, oblivious does not hide the red stain. It just removes the terror radius.
On the wiki, it specifically mentions that the red stain is lost whilst undetectable. Meanwhile, oblivious is said to only block the terror radius. As such, oblivious is indeed significantly weaker then undetectable in almost every way.

When used in combination with other healing perks it can be fairly decent. Issue with that of course is you're obviously using multiple perk slots for a single thing (self healing). Inner strength + detectives hunch is arguably stronger then any self care combo simply because any self care combo is hyper focused on self healing. On the other hand, the Inner strength + detective's hunch combo offers some utility outside of self heals (e.g. Finding important hex totems or finding gens on an indoor map). This is especially the case considering that in November, Inner strength will become a general perk. Self care by itself is just straight up terrible in my opinion. I've only put it in mediocre because it still does have some synergy with builds focused on healing.

Not exactly accurate, which is why I didn't bring any "tech" language into this. While Shoulder Flick plays into your ability to manipulate your hitbox, it isn't something you'll always do in order to get a hit. As in, your hitbox on a mere left-click within your Lethal Rush is already massive enough to get you most hits, going basically all the way around you.
True, my bad. I'm fairly basic when it comes to Blight so sorry if I was spreading misinformation.

His animations are incredible looking but the actual power he has is a bit underwhelming. His add-ons also may be a bit problematic. They seem to range from either being bad, necessary to actually be decent or straight up broken. He definitely needs work but with a few small tweaks he could be a strong killer who still has a decent amount of counterplay.

Too many things. It'd take too long to list them all so I'm not sure if it's even worth the effort, lol.

I am a killer. 2 last survivors alive, one slugged at the other part of the map, hatch very close of him. I found the last survivor crouched on a corner, i go to him and bodyblock him until the slugged survivor bleeds out to secure the last kill 100%. I get 4 man reported in endgame chat by the swf group for "keeping the game hostage while the game is still progressing".
My questions: Would you give another chance to your opponent playing chess when you have him on check mate? And do moderators check the content of the report or does it go by volume of reports even if they are false?
It isn't considered holding the game hostage unless the game is unable to progress e.g. Survivors hide all game and never touch a generator. Bleeding someone out, whilst unpleasant, isn't bannable in any way as far as I'm aware. So, it shouldn't matter if they all reported you.

Since after November 17th, the Stranger Things chapter would not be available. My suggestion is that Jakes gets Inner strength and replaces Calm Spirit. Calm Spirit will then be Base perks and Nancy and Jake will share a perk.
The main reason why I'm suggesting this is that Base Characters don't have a lot of Self-healing perks other than Self-care so a lot of beginner players start using self-care, but if there were more perks that offered the same effect they might find more use from one or the other and Beginner players might also start cleansing more totems while using the perk. Also, calm spirit is the worst of the base character teachable perks, offering little to nothing except if the killer is using spies from the shadow, or is a Doctor, Clown, or Pinhead. there are Base perks that you get right away that are WAY better than Calm spirit and it's a teachable perk. Teachables should be something to want to earn Especially for a Base survivor (Jake, Meg Claudette, Dwight)
Note I do believe the other perks should be Base perks as well and not Shrine perks attached to no one (Inner Strength is the only really good one from the Stranger things chapter so you should have to put some effort to get it)
The stranger things perks are going to be base perks though.

Hey guys,
Does anyone use the "Did you have fun?" thing at the end of the match? Does anyone know how it works or if it works at all?
I personally only use it for when a match was absolute trash or when I really have fun, but most of the time when matches are just meh I don't even bother (so it's either 1 or 5 points). But I was wondering exactly what it does to matchmaking in general.
Do you think this kind of feedback is useful or should it ask for a short description of why people find certain matches fun or not?
Not much point. The data they'd gather would likely only get a surface level view of why a particular match was fun or unfun. As others have suggested, a little box where we could type why a game was fun or unfun would be nice. Make the data more meaningful too.

Side note, any opinions on if I should just rebuy the Nancy cosmetics I have already purchased on Switch? I've waited nearly a year for cross platform progression and at this point, with how often/long it has been delayed, I'm starting to doubt that BHVR will end up being able to deliver on their promise for cross platform progression between Switch and PC :( I hate to rebuy things I already paid for on one platform, but I'd hate even more to permanently miss out on Nancy cosmetics in the case that my pessimistic premonition ends up coming true LOL
I mean, the stranger things stuff disappears in November. You could always just wait and see if cross progression becomes a thing for Switch before then. If not, you could buy the DLC if you're worried about cross progression not coming out soon. If cross progression comes out before November the 17th then you don't need to pay any extra money.

Previously they announced that there will be generic versions of the stranger things perks after novemeber 17th but they would have been available only through the shrine of secrets.
Well, today they have changed this to be that they will instead become regular DBD perks, alongside ones such as Spine Chill, or Kindred. (if you do not already have the characters)
This is much better in my opinion because waiting for 9 perks from the shrine of secrets... you'll probably never get them all. And i think nancy and steve's perks are really good for beginners.
This will be incredible for beginners so I'm happy. Only issue is that now my bloodwebs are going to be plagued with baby sitter and camaraderie which really, really sucks.

Your bias with this poll is extremely obvious but I'll answer it anyways.
This would just make me want to play Killer even less. I dodge lobbies if there's a key and (If I'm playing Trapper) a map. I will otherwise stick out a lobby most of the time. Only exception is if multiple profiles have had previous bans on other games (You can see if this is the case on Steam). What exactly are you bringing that constantly makes Killers dodge the lobby? In my experience, when playing Survivor, Killers rarely dodge lobbies. When they do, it's usually because someone has a key.

Its not cause they loose the licence and right to sell, that they can do whatever they wqnt with the chars and skins
All skins had to be approved by the licence holders and they sometimes dont want to see cosmetics mixed in certain ways
So even if they loose the right to sell the DLC and skins, they probably still are bound to à fiew rules toward skins in this case
P.S.: i also hate linked skins

Wait I just realized, nothing about the cosmetic itself would change, there doesn't need to be any model work done to make it work; so what's stopping them from just making it unlinked? It's basically flipping a switch on the devs end, right? They undid the Leatherface set and connected the purple Leon and Jill outfits really quickly, so couldn't they just do that with Jonathan?
Stubbornness on their end I guess. You are right, there is genuinely no reason for them to be linked once the license wears off. So really, it could only be stubbornness or maybe selfishness? I dunno.

. Disarming spawn a skill check. Fail will get trapped. Coil addon changed from slower disarm to smaller skill check.
. Escape trap os is no more RNG. Add skill check, starts with 10 degrees, failed will increase another 5 degrees until success. Stone addon decrease 5 degrees.
. Green jaw cause Hindered. Purple jaw cause Broken...ect.
I repeat that his time required to setup trap isnt the a problem. Its disarming his trap without any risk. Its escaping his trap in 2sec because of RNG. Being able to carry 1 trap at anytime makes him unable to shift his traps to another area . Are the problems.
I actually agree that the ease of disarming is more detrimental then any of Trapper's other flaws. The only problematic part of your suggestion is that disarming requires a skill check. With consoles currently suffering from performance issues, having such a heavy penalty for missing a skill check on the disarm could pose problems.

- While carrying more than his "max carry" he cannot pick up traps.
- Once he has less traps than his max carry he functions as he does now
Eases his early game/makes him a bit more deadly in earlier chases.
Personally, I think yellow bag being base-kit should be the limit. As others have pointed out, starting with all his traps could encourage a very camp heavy playstyle. It wouldn't be super strong or anything, but it would be very unengaging and uninteresting for both sides.

I think it would need something else to be actually impactful. Decreasing the chance of self unhooking basically only hurts builds based around kobeing (Which are quite rare in my experience at least). If the extra hook progress speed applied to the scourge hooks then that would actually be very strong but it might just encourage camping. Not sure what to do with this one to be honest.

What do you do?
I face amped and got a salty response from one of the people survived. That I'm awful, I have 1k hours and I face camp. He tells me that he's a killer main on rank 1. When I ask him what I should've done in this situation, he tells me to go stop the gate.
As a side note nobody got above 20k BP.
And that I rarely play as Shape.
What's your opinion on this situation and who's right?
Well for one, I wouldn't be playing Myers in the first place because his power kinda sucks in modern DBD, lol. If I were in this scenario though, then I would've just shamelessly camped. There is no other option in that scenario. In my experience, if people are salty then they will go out of their way to find reasons to insult or mock you. Maybe you killed their friend or you just annoyed them earlier in the game. That Survivor likely would've complained or mocked you even if you didn't camp in that scenario.

@Specialist_Habit said:
I think most people just really hate NOED because it rewards awful killers with cheesy kills. Especially in low ranks. Imo it's a very poorly designed perk. When playing killer I never equip it because it just feels so cheap and unsatisfying getting kills through NOED. NOED just screams "I'm bad at the game so I need some crutch so I can kill people and say ez in endgame chat". People say "just do bones" but that's really hard when you are on a map like Midwich. Also against actual good killers you don't have enough time doing totems. If me and my friends play survivor we almost always totem hunt but it's sometimes not possible vs opressive killers.
I can understand however that some survivors say they don't have a problem with NOED because it often creates exciting end game scenarios but more often than not it just rewards a bad killer. I'm not saying it's not balanced or OP because it's not, but it's just poorly designed.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2435468#Comment_2435468
I REALLY like this idea! It would still be a very dangerous perk but prevent a good survivor from getting instadowned and die on 1st hook in the endgame.
You're kind of contradicting yourself there. If it really screams "I'm bad at the game so I need some crutch so I can kill people and say ez in endgame chat", then why did you proceed to complain about it being used by good Killers? I do agree that Noed's design is problematic but I'd argue that removing or nerfing it in the game's current state would be worse then if we kept it. I'll do my best to explain why.
- The game isn't actually over until all the Survivors have left or died so it technically isn't rewarding Killers with cheesy kills more then any other insta down perk. The Killer has to be losing (keep in mind that I said losing and not lost) for Noed to come into play so good Survivors can often mitigate the effect by splitting up.
- If Survivors split up all throughout and are at least semi-competent at chase then gens will fly. 3 genning is pointless against these kinds of Survivors because 3 gens are not that great if at least one Survivor is on each of the 3 gens. The Killer could try to pressure them off but inevitably, the final gen will get done. In such a scenario, Noed genuinely might be even a good Killer's only hope to get at least a 1 or 2K.
- If Survivors know what they're doing then the Killer will only will get one extra kill because of Noed. If the Killer manages to get any more then it was because Survivors got cocky at the end and positioned themselves very poorly.
- Survivors also have a handful of perks which provide immense 'free' value i.e. Sprint burst, Dead hard, Unbreakable as well as a few others. Survivors don't have to 'earn' any of these perks and similarly to Noed, they can single-handedly turn the tide of a game. So, why is Noed deemed problematic enough to be changed but not these perks?
@Junylar said:
Here is an idea: NOED doesn't give insta downs, but instead makes it so that every survivor is dead on hook during EGC, and it won't affect those who are already on the hook by the time it activates. This way it still remains deadly, but good survivors actually have a chance to avoid it by not getting downed.
Honestly, that might be worse. It does prevent the possibility of snowballing with Noed (Which could be avoided anyways by remaining split up) but it makes it even worse for the individual struck with it. Imagine looping a Killer all game and then, the last gen pops and the Killer downs you. You didn't get hooked all game but that doesn't matter because you were caught at an unfortunate time and therefore instantly die. At least with the current Noed, the Killer has to camp out the kill if they haven't hooked that Survivor yet. That buys the team time to cleanse the Noed and coordinate a save. With your Noed idea, the individual Survivor would just instantly die. I personally think that this would just make Noed an even more problematic perk overall. It would be significantly weaker, but at the same time, it would be more frustrating for the individual struck with it. I understand the desire to make the perk healthier for the game but I definitely don't think this is a good change for the game.

It used to be Ghostface but Wraith has more recently dethroned the ol' Ghosty. Ghostface is riddled with bugs and inconsistencies. On the other hand, Wraith is pretty stable and consistent. The mobility also means that he isn't as badly affected by open maps and maps with lots of visibility. Pretty clear-cut I'd say.
-
I don't think buffing the perk is necessarily the worst idea but I don't really think it needs it. It's sitting pretty comfortably in the 'not meta but still good' tier so I honestly think it's fine. There's other perks that'd need buffs way more. So essentially, a buff wouldn't be bad but it would be kind of unnecessary. Now that I think about it, I probably should've voted no. Oh well, too late to change it now.
