That's literally what I said 🤣.
Sorry, I misunderstood the post. It's what happens when I haven't had my morning coffee.
Still, I do worry about these perks. Healing is one way of slowing the game down. Most high rank matches are done in under ten minutes as it is. These perks just speed it up even more.

Plague would do the same with Self Care and Medkits ...
Selfcare/Medkits don't work if you're at max infection. It's why Thana is so good on her.
-
I was called a tunneler because I hit a guy three minutes after he was unhooked. Apparently, according to the killer rulebook, it's considered tunneling if they can't first heal before you resume a chase.

It can be a little frustrating tho, if you’ve run them around the entire game only to suddenly be knocked in one hit. Then they secure the kill cuz everyone else usually escapes.
It's only frustrating if you failed to clear totems.
-
Just run NOED, then mock them for being scrubs and not clearing totems.
-
Not by itself, but if fellow survivors can get the killer to swing once or twice?
-
Why aren't you complaining about survivors that pull you off when it's unsafe? honestly, what's the killer supposed to do, let you go free?
-
Just add another objective. Increasing gen time screws over solos.
-
For me, it depends on the type of match so far. For instance, say I'm chasing this survivor, and he's doing really well at looping. I break it off, go for the others, who I find aren't so good. The first survivor then starts teabagging/clicking in my line of sight. I don't take that as toxic, I take it as him trying to get attention off his team, which is a valid strategy.
Now, if he's doing it at ever loop, every time he's unhooked, just hounding me into a chase the entire match, just because ego? I'll take it as toxic. I'll ignore it when possible, go for his team, but I'll check mark his name under 'annoyance.'
-
Depends on the killer, but I generally don't run ruin.More often than naught, it's found within the first three minutes. Waste of a perk slot, for me. PGTW all the way.
-
You brought up NOED, then ask for comments to be civil and kind. You're like playing with fire, dontcha?
-
Out of curiosity, how would people feel if gens automatically started regressing after a certain period of inactivity? Even if you gen tapped, it would just be staving off the regression by a bit.
-
What gets me is when they unhook, then sprint burst out of there. What am I supposed to do, chase after them instead of the poor sap they left behind?

It's not that I think this is a big problem but I do agree that during mid blink you should be able to stun her
Err. . . she literally teleports through walls. Why would a pallet stun her?
-
I always find it funny when an OoO user shows how narrow minded they are. They'll teabag when their aura lights up from across the map, expecting me to chase. They do it all match, then when they're the last one to make it out at the end, they think they're the best of the best, even if their team died trying to do gens.

He probably wanted to just play with his friends, there's nothing selfish about SWF (survive with FRIENDS!!). Killers complaining about people literally playing with their friends is stupid and childish.
Also, most randoms are braindead on PS4, I should know, I've reached rank 1 consistently solo on PS4
Usually swf are toxic ######### who like to make the killers life miserable. So yeah, in general, killers few swf as selfish.
-
I wanna insert an Exorcist vomit gif, but that's just nasty.
So, the Plague. Love her to bits, but I've had to shelve her as I get into the upper purple ranks. Huntress is a second.

It use to apply to both you and the person you unhooked. They really need to add a perk that protects you when going for a hook save.
If they do that, then it should be one or the other. A survivor shouldn't be able to equip both.
-
When a survivor dcs, unless the killer farms up the hilt, they black pip. So, that issue is evened out. I do agree with the bp, though. That should be a non issue with dedicated servers, since atm, killer hosts.

Huntress - Monitor and Abuse, Nurse's calling, Iron Maiden, And ruin. This build got me to rank 1
Survivor - Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time. A very meta build but works very well
Why would you use Monitor on Huntress? It doesn't affect her humming, does it?
-
Lol. Getting three gens done makes them skillful. That's funny.
-
You need to specify what mori, bud. If you mean ebony, I'd change it to only activate on the third down, instead of second.
-
I vote to keep them, but change them. As in, only the holder gets to escape. Once they do, it closes again.
-
What's wrong with killers dodging swf? If they don't want to deal with that level of team work, why go through it?
-
When I first started, I thought exposed meant I could see survivor auras. Which is what confused me at perks that said exposed. Got sick of it and went to the wiki, which shed some light on it. Felt dumb after.
-
It was nerfed? What was it like before the nerf?

You can’t play killer without four survivors though. :P
Some of them have twitch accounts if you’re curious.
There. Modified the title to be clearer.

@Jago said:
Why monitor and abuse ? She s way to tall to not be spotted.
In wide open spaces, yes, it doesn't matter much. But there are lots of LOS breaks. Just walk with them between you and the gens, and watch the beauty of Monitor. Secondly, she's ranged. You don't need to get as close as other M1 killers. Just enough for the puke to land. Monitor grants you that extra space.
-
I should add, for addons, I absolutely love Vile Emetic and Black Incense. Since you really can't rely on corrupt purge in higher ranks, at least reliably, these two give you map awareness. The rate the infection spreads due to Emetic is lovely. Even if they do manage to cleanse, just takes a little hiccup to get the ball rolling again. In the environment of 'never cleanse,' Incense gives you all the info you need.
-
I was gonna say when you try your absolute best in a match, but the survivors just outplay you at every turn, then teabag you at exit gates,
-
My build is Thana, Pop Goes The Weasel, BBQ, and Monitor. I don't run Ruin on her, because in the majority of my games, it's found in the first three minutes. Waste of a perk slot. I sometimes swap out Monitor for Bamboozle, just to stop chases, but it's hit and miss depending on the map.
-
Hello Done, I'm dad!
...
...
...
Question. Is the killer using that offering that separates survivors? That'll raise the chances of you popping up near them. Either way, though, just hide? I mean, lockers are everywhere.
You can see the ping in the game lobby. If its too high for you, leave? Not like the info is hidden.
That DS bit sounds like a latency issue. If you really are running with killers that have high ping, that would explain it, not that it's bugged.
-
Why? 16% slow is a pretty big number, especially paired with other match slowing perks. Granted, very few killers can make use of it effectively, so in most cases, it is trash. But then, lots of perks work better on some over others.
-
@Clockso said:
tbh thanatophobia is overrated, the speed action is barely noticeable and survivors can just heal each other for faster healing and to reduce the already weak penalty
It depends on the killer. I mean, look at Plague. The mindset of 'don't cleanse' makes Thana amazing for her.
-
If there's an early dc or rage quit, and by early I mean within the first two minutes, I'll give the survivors the match with a little farming. They're all being hooked twice, bash some gens, destroy some pallets. After which, I'll give them the gate. However, if they start teabagging and flashlight clicking, that rule goes out the window.
Had the latter portion happen a few times. The salt they throw is amusing, considering they made the choice to go all in.
-
Claudette. I love running a nurse build and keeping everybody patched up when possible. Then disappearing into a corner when the killer is near.
Plague. I love torturing myself with an M1 killer at high ranks because survivors refuse to cleanse, leaving me to walk around the often times giant maps they select and looking sexy with my long legged gait.

False. As a killer, I have beaten SWF team with Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, and Myers (my mains in order with how much I use them)
And as a survivor on a full SWF team, I have been beaten by killers other than Spirit, Billy, and Nurse.
People need to stop toting this false claim that there's only 3 viable killers. If you apply enough pressure and outplay your opponents, almost every killer is viable.
There IS only three viable killers against high rank swf groups. Just because there are a few outlier matches at high ranks with other killers doesn't detract from the fact that of the killer roster, only three can reliably push a 4 man. Key word, reliably.
-
Want a change? Keep it as it is, but it cancels itself if somebody else is hooked during that time.
-
O, I slug them if I think they have DS. I've had a few that think they're cute waiting at the nearby pallet. Which brings up the fact that some players just want to set up situations where they can bm you in post game for tunneling, even though they have every opportunity of escaping.
-
Plague is doing 'very well' at high ranks? I never see her at high ranks.
Personally, all I want for her is something that gives incentives towards cleansing. Once everybody is infected, she's just an M1 killer with little power. Anything that works in that regard, I would gladly take.
-
Unless you run at me. I've had a few times where the unhooked will either run at me, or by me. If you're offering yourself, that's on you.
-
They did say 'slight changes' to her base kit. Now, slight can mean different things, so we'll just have to wait. I am curious as to what they'll do with her addons. I can see them removing four and five blinks. Maybe range and speed. What those will be replaced with, though, will be interesting. I still believe three blinks should be possible, and the max, with addons. Maybe a very rare.

Where is he?
Look at the top ic. He's on the other side of the shack peeking out.
-
If you do that, then keys need to be changed to only allow the holder to escape. I wouldn't mind nerfing the ebony mori so that it requires two hooks instead of one to use.
-

Well actually, it used to be where if someone disconnected during the load screen, the game would still play out as normal, just there'd be 3 survivors instead of 4 (if it was a survivor that left, that is.) I wish it was still like this, but I can understand why they changed it, as survivors would be at a disadvantage from the start with only 3 instead of 4.
Why didn't they just lower the required gens needed to escape if there was a dc?
-
As a killer, I don't like it. I'm trying to listen for environmental cues, which is difficult when I have this blaring orchestra in my ears. Especially when they're blinding me with flashlights.
-
Devs can't even get the basic matchmaking down (why red rank survivors play against green rank killers, or purple rank killers facing gold rank survivors), how are they going to implement this?
With that said, I like the idea. And if you can't get the exact rank, then at least in the ball park. Or maybe the middle ground of all survivor ranks.
-
Rule #487: You must not go after a wounded survivor if you've hooked them once, even if it has been ten minutes. Doing so is tunneling, and makes you a baby killer.
Rule #493: You must never patrol gens that are near each other. Doing so assures the survivors you are attempting to hold the match hostage, even if the survivors chose the largest map and the killer is M1 fodder.
-
Yes, but unless they actually claim they're sniping, how can you prove it without it being said to be coincidental? The team doesn't own whatever third party software is being used to stream, as it falls outside the game boundaries. Don't get me wrong, it seems obvious to me, this is just what the dev was saying in a thread two weeks ago.
