There are bigger problems with the game than CoH, which I don't often see in my matches as killer, that make it frustrating to play this role.

I don't understand why so many posts about xyz perk being broken. It is a disturbing trend. There is no nuance to the discussion, just a "this happens to be consensus so fix it now."

I wish we could run mods in DbD. I would love this from RE:3, or Noir Claire Redfield from RE:2.

Although it was announced it would end 23rd, it does feel odd to see the seasonal theme removed so soon.
Maybe it would have caused too much confusion to remove snowmen event whilst leaving the hooks/generators theming.

I'd like an actual Hellraiser themed map. Either based on the labyrinth as seen in Hellbound: Hellraiser II, or the nightclub from Hellraiser III.

I've heard people say Pinhead gets a lot of DC's, but I never ran into that many.
I get a lot on Plague, more so than other killers.

Nice models. I'm still not playing Fortnite but I give them props for actually caring at least a little.
Second picture from DbD, some maps have the most unflattering lighting for faces. Jill looks a little plastic in Fortnite, but Claire needs more work in DbD.

The game could have a privacy mode if you want to hide your profile name. A lot of killers won't like not being able to vet lobbies beforehand for SWF and TTV.
Some other games offer this though it still possible to find you via sites like tracker.gg.

Seems simple enough solution. If you reported the player for hacking, you don't get matched again. Anyone trying to abuse it with false reports also fall foul of the ban system.

I think they're interesting, as far as where the writer took the story, but neither stand out as good as the original. I feel in some way both take away from the original. Dark Water (仄暗い水の底から) if you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend!

As I was looking for similar to handle badly mastered Youtube videos. I installed Equalizer APO software which allows you to insert VST plugins. There are many good free compressors out there but I expect you want something quite transparent. I like VladG Limiter 6 because it's versatile.

Not going to read the books but I did watch リング2 and らせん this week. I am torn between which sequel I prefer. Both are flawed.

I don't have DbD on Switch but it has game recording (30 seconds I think) and has to be enabled by developers.

At the other end of the spectrum, I had a game last an eternity recently, survivors weren't doing any gens at all, just hiding, I think expecting me to DC. Or maybe they didn't know that they had to do gens.

The trick is to be solving the box or carrying it from the beginning of the game, so you never get chain hunt.

In Paladins the DC penalty is one hour for casual mode. They even get replaced by bots. It's frustrating when people DC just as you pick them up. It's one of the reasons I don't play killer as much.

There are adventure games that use some kind of aimbots, and other fighting games and third person shooters exists aswell.
Mostly its not a aimbot ofc but more like aim assists and aim dressing but you started this so you really shouldnt act like this.

Let them make ridiculous suggestions. I think it reflects their passion for the source material and not to be taken seriously. Meanwhile we must contend with watered down franchise avatars because they're fun for a while, for the price it is less than a Blu-Ray (and keeps the servers running).

Second, aimbot isnt used by First person shooters only..
Aimbot sounds like some kind of aim assist which is generally an FPS thing if you want to be pendantic.

I would like some haunting ability rather than the well as a teleport like Demodog. More like how the Doctor can give hallucinations, but to affect more than one player at a time. I want survivors to think you are close when you are not.
I want to be able to play her as well, so not teleporting around like Nurse with her undocumented motion sickness power. I feel like she should be able to go through walls since Spirit cannot but I don't know how balanced this might feel to play against.
The well should be saved for her Mori.

What I'm saying is that Sadako and Kayako are very similar (albeit not exactly the same). The Spirit takes inspiration from both: Kayako with the movements and opened mouth, Sadako with standing upright + walking.
There are WAY better Japanese horror movies anyway. Case in point: Dark Water, One Missed Call, etc.
Getting another Hillbilly/Cannibal situation is NOT what I'm looking for.
Original Dark Water is so much better than リング.

If you like the story enough you might be open to watching different telling of it. It has been a very long time since I saw both but I still think it is worth watching both versions if you are a horror fan.

I guess it is something you learn to appreciate, the work that goes into creating such visual effects (more so with older films using practical effects). I am still squeamish about a lot of things but when you see real life body horror it is nothing like a gory film or game and the latter cannot desensitise or even prepare you for it. One could argue desensitisation exists with video game gun violence, and we know this is false despite attempts to link the two.

I watched Hellbound: Hellraiser II again recently and thought two things related to the game. Pinhead doesn't feel gory or scary in DbD; would be so cool to have Open/Deep Throat skin. Also maybe make the hooks have bits of flesh and blood stuck on it.

I remember back in the day that survivor-on-hook-gymnastics (animation spamming) were the universal sign for "the killer is camping". No idea what happened to that but i guess spamming anything but flashlights or Tbags was to tiring for survivors.
Some survivors still do it (I do when playing survivor) but others seem to do it just because they want to be rescued.
