Nightmare's Kid's Drawing: Lets you play Old Freddy
-
Bubba has got some great addons, and a couple of bad ones. The ones to steer clear of are Carburetor Tuning Guide (I think it's STILL bugged from when he was originally reworked) and Depth Gauge Rake, since they have a hefty downside for not much in return. The amount they slow down your chainsaw is not worth it.
However, apart from these 2, most of his addons are very good. both of the Chilli addons increase the amount of time you can chainsaw for with zero downside, and are absolutely insane, especially the Award-winning Chilli. The recharge addons are very cheap and let you use your chainsaw far more often. The speed ones increase your chainsaw charge time, but the extra speed they give can be well worth it, especially when used in combination with the duration addons. You've got a bunch of status-inflicting addons in the chains (mangled, broken, dropped items) and an aura reading addon with the Light Chassis. Tantrum addons can be nice if you're learning, since they heavily reduce the penalty for bumping.
Shop Lubricant, The Grease and Long Guide Bar while not detrimental, don't really do anything significant.
Speed Limiter is an absolute meme, but very funny if you want to throw a game or two. You can hit them twice with the chainsaw if you start the Sweep close enough.
So yeah, all around good addons, just a few bad ones, which is more than can be said for a lot of killers.
-
Mint Rag? Counterplay? Ok.
Hag has a lot of good addons, but also a bunch of bad, gimmicky addons, mostly at the higher rarities. They could do with buffing stuff like Waterlogged Shoe and Scarred Hand, which are straight downgrades lol.
Mint Rag is an overpowered addon that should really be reworked entirely, and Rusty Shackles is very obnoxious. Most of her addons from Brown through Green are very good, except Trigger Range addons, obviously.
Hag absolutely has good addons. You wanna see bad ones? Just look at Freddy and Pyramid Head.
-
I don't think it'd make it that good, it really isn't worth spending 14 seconds blessing a totem so only people in a certain area could scream.
My personal idea is that it should let you pet a crow for a few seconds, which then goes and shows you the aura of the killer. Probably wouldn't be that useful, but at least you get to pat the birb :D

I want the OG Freddy back.
Same. I miss him so much. :(
-
NFT? More like No [BAD WORD] Thanks
-
I can't unequip Buckle Up, the ability to see the recovery progression of survivors within 48 meters is just too good.
Also whenever I equip it, killers stop slugging, so that's nice.
-
Let's gooooooo, Karu can drive past fields full of cows whenever he feels like it now :D
Congrats, man.
-
Nah, making Grim Embrace 60 seconds would be a pretty bad idea design wise, since people could just facecamp an entire hook stage with basically no consequence.
The perk is fine as it is, honestly. It's pretty good.
-
Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Old Freddy Edition.
-
I honestly think it's because there are more killer players on the forums, to be honest.
-
I disagree, Gift of Pain is underwhelming, but Pain Resonance is an amazing regression perk that could honestly match up to Pop goes the Weasel in effectiveness, considering it automatically applies 15% regression to where it matters most, regardless of distance.

NOED killers should keep speed bonus after it's cleansed, or if all totems already is cleansed killer shoud at least get the speed bonus. Some complain about this perk but it's still a C tier and a huge gamble so a small buff should be fine.
NOED does not need buffs, it's one of the best killer perks in the game.

I like all of these changes except for Hope- I don't think survivors need any more incentive to linger in the trial for longer than necessary, letting them kite the killer all the way through the EGC is a recipe for massive frustration.
The rest are definitely good- I especially like the idea for Left Behind, that's my pick for how to fix that perk. Let it be the Key equivalent of Saboteur for Toolboxes and Self-Care for Medkits, it won't even be particularly good but it'll make Bill's Adept a little less painful and it'll have some utility.
Fire Up would have to be monitored for OP combinations with other perks, but honestly, I don't think there's that much of a concern there. Still, warrants mentioning.
I can see your concern with Hope, but I think the End Game collapse would push them out of the game anyway. People risking death just to go and loop the killer for 2 more minutes would probably end up playing in your favor. I just think that since you're a perk down for the entire rest of the game, the effect should be more significant.
And yeah, Fire Up could produce some OP combos if the numbers are set too high, but I don't think 6% would be a concern. I'm sure it would be considered if the devs decided to buff it.
-
Boons are fine, generally, they just need to stop Circle of Healing stacking with medkits.

@GeneralV said:
Please, change that title.
Old Freddy was far from the F Tier.
Replace it with Wraith, if you would.
Yeah, what he said, just replace it with Trickster instead.

No Way Out had killed every chance that Remember me gets buffed back.
Unfortunately it seems so, Power Creep is a #########.
-
I wouldn't. It's perfect as it is, it's the ultimate Ace up the sleeve perk that gives you another chance for a comeback without being too oppressive. Freddy's other perks are far more in need of buffing than Blood Warden.
Remember Me could do with the 2.7.0 nerf reverted (so back to 6 stacks for 30 seconds extra time), and maybe let it get stacks on special attacks as well.
Fire Up just needs extra numbers, I'd like 6%, personally.
Also while we're at it please let me play Old Freddy again, thanks.
-
A bad idea, usually. You're better off using the distance to escape and rely on someone else getting the rescue.
-
Yes, it's a very effective tool to ensure you can catch up to people on stronger loops and if they're camping a dropped pallet. It's also really nice for regaining distance on survivors who have broken line of sight, since you can't land a tonic bottle on them.
-
Bloody Glove is a very underrated addon, I love it. It gives you so much information. Iridescent Family Crest is useless though, I'll give you that.
I don't think having an infinite blood fury addon would be a good idea given how powerful Oni is in that state, the time limit is what helps to balance it out.
-
He's basically just as good as he was before, except without the overpowered addons. Still a very viable killer.
-
Aftercare is a pretty cool perk, and can outclass most other info perks once it builds to it's full potential. The problem is you probably won't stay there for long, since it resets when you get hooked.
There are certainly worse perks you could've bought, don't worry.
-
Why must I torment people? I'm playing Pyramid Head, I can't cage them otherwise.
-
I miss Freddy :(
-
I wish we still had the option to play the pre-rework version today. He was much more fun for both sides and far more thematically accurate (and REALLY cool). He actually had cool addons too, instead of the set we have today that does pretty much nothing. I'd take Old Freddy anyday over the current 4 killers in a blender version we have today.
He could've used a few buffs, but he was criminally underrated in strength. He was pretty damn far from the worst killer in the game in my opinion.
I wish BHVR would give him back to us.
-
Bumping again
-
The other day I played against a 100 hour Bubba, then the next game I had a 6k hour nurse. A little bit of a jump if you ask me, but it was still pretty fun.
-
Deathslinger's ability to quickscope was very stupid, but I'd like to see him buffed somewhere else, honestly.
-
Have at least 20% of his body in the center 25% of your screen and hope it reveals him. The reveal system can be pretty unreliable at times.
-
Eruption really doesn't need a buff. It combos really well with guaranteeing a Pop on a gen, and 16 seconds of slowdown is nothing to scoff at by itself, that's like 20% of a gen's worth. Sure, the regression isn't very significant, but that isn't the main draw of the perk, that's the incapacitated.
Making it auto trigger on 99% would probably be too much, and would certainly be very annoying.
-
Pray you don't get a map with walls you can't throw over. His chase power is pretty much at the mercy of how high a loop's walls are.
-
Bumping this, since it still hasn't been acknowledged/fixed.
-
I had an idea for this months ago:
@ReverseVelocity said:
Alright, so we have a perk that lets survivors get addons, why not add one that lets killers get addons?
Hoarder
You protect what little you have and are perceptive to those rummaging through your stockpiles.
Receive a Loud Noise notification for 4 seconds when Survivors interact with a Chest or when they pick up an Item within 32/48/64 metres of your location.
The Trial begins with up to 2 additional Chests in the environment. For each unopened chest remaining on the map, this perk gains a token.
At the end of the trial, recieve one random addon in your inventory for each token.
1 addon per chest might be a bit much, but having an Ace in the Hole equivalent for killers would be pretty cool.
-
@GeneralV said:
Wasn't SWF, but I did play with @TheGannMan and @ReverseVelocity before.
It's always nice to run into you in game :D
I SWF with @GoodBoyKaru occasionally, but it usually ends up with us both switching to killer in a discord call after getting camped and tunneled one too many times haha.
-
I think upscaling this game to 4k would turn every Nintendo Switch that ran it into an IED.

Thrill never helps me as my issue is normally finding the boons once they are up.
Hex: Undying shows survivors interacting with dull totems, so even that on it's own can give you good information as to where boons are being placed.
-
Before the 4th anniversary update where the slow on bottle throw was removed, did you use the feathers 24/7 or did you use another addon combination from time to time?

About 55 GB on xbox
56.27 GB on PC for me :D

I think it still has value. Since Circle of Healing is a perk that encourages healing, they're going to be healing a lot more than usual if they're running it. An extra few seconds per self heal can really add up over time.
-
Camaraderie.

5) Your teammates are also progressing gens and then the killer has two other Tinkerer procs to chase. If he leaves, you hop back into the gen.
The killer can only chase one survivor at a time. Even if your gen regresses at some point he will have to leave the gen, then you just finish it.
Survivors move at 2.26m/s while walking, in 10 seconds that's 22.6 meters. Unless the killer is right next to you not even Blight or Nurse can get that fast on a gen. Most killers don't even make use out of the Undetectable.
Unless the killer isn't pressuring generators well, three consecutive Tinkerer procs are very unlikely, especially with stacked regression (which seems to be the case with the majority of Tinkerer users).
-
Add the option to play pre-rework Freddy.

- Repair a gen to 70%;
- Walk (don't run) for 10 seconds away from the gen;
- Laugh at the killer searching for someone and hopelessly kicking the gen to make a regression you'll undo in half a second.
4) They kick a gen with Pop or regress it with Ruin and Tinkerer can activate again.
Plus you really can't make that much distance by walking, especially on killers that can make it to gens really fast.
-
Honestly, I can agree with one thing. Tinkerer is really busted.

It was already causing confusion for players, both new and old. So we made the decision to stick to one name for the perks, which is the new generic names.
And talking of Stranger Things - 04f33570-dbb8-4a97-ad04-be61ead77b00, this might just be a Demo code for anyone who doesn't own Demo yet.
That's a shame, I don't like the new names. It'll always be called Surge in my heart.
-
How are you going 2-3 minutes in a chase without bloodlust activating? The only way that could happen is that either you're terrible at tracking survivors (and chase keeps breaking) or terrible at using your killer power (which resets bloodlust).
