  • Better than Wesker for the 1000th time

  • Jonah is an imperalist warmongering a-hole who worked for Pinochet and the CIA and hardly even cared when he murdered an entire village - he's one of, if not the most evil character in the game. I don't want more Jonah's.

wesker according to wiki has acceleration in his ability, so he only moves at 14.0 m/s at last 0.2 seconds of his mobility. he is way slower nurse. this is so backwards. the character that goes through walls should be slower and the one that doesn't go through walls should be faster since nurse has way more efficient routing. For m/s they choose for wesker, he does not need that acceleration. just makes him easier to loop. it makes sense why its so much easier to 1vs1 wesker. Acceleration would make more sense if his max m/s was 500%-700% like demo shred.

Oh my god. Stop begging for Wesker buffs. He's already statistically strongest in the game, AND the most played, he's doing fine.

Just solve the box before the chainhunt starts problem solved

Pinhead mains be like "yeah just abandon gens to waste time with my stupid gimmick every 30 seconds dude, it's well designed I swear"

  • And make him even stronger? No! Give blight some learning curve l, christ

  • Would 110% movement speed be enough? I mean, his power's already super strong, usable at basically every tile with a little bit of thinking, and he's got insane mobility with or without it. Honestly he could be nurse speed and I don't think he'd go down that much in the right hands.

HUNK is an umbrella operative, you play as him in the games but he is canonically apart of one of the main antagonist groups in the series. he has no moral compass, all he really cares about is completing his mission which would make him more desirable as a killer by the entity. he wouldn't fit any of the other original killers as a skin either.

Idk dude still doesn't sit right with me. He's very clearly a survivor-coded character. His DLC is even called "The 4th Survivor." It's like saying Wesker shouldn't be a killer because he was a member of S.T.A.R.S. and isn't horror themed. He would've fit Leon a ton more than legion. Maybe they'll do a Feng cosplay sort of thing and make a HUNK skin for Leon in resident evil chapter 3? I hope so.

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

I gotta know when to switch to lightborn to cpunter the flashlight bully squads. I prestiged hillbilly for a reason. It certainly wasnt to play him lol.

Why not? Hillbilly's still pretty strong, super fun, has a skill ceiling, has instadowns, great anti-loop and insane mobility. Overheat does nothing unless you're camping or are unrealistically bad at playing him. He's arguably near A tier if in the right hands with the right addons!

  • Should've been a Leon skin. HUNK is a SURVIVOR not a killer. And why legion? Doesn't fit him at all. They couldn't even be bothered to give him his chase theme, or a unique voice.

I mean, as someone else here put it, SupaAlf is an anomaly. A specialist with no regard for the opposition that has achieved a frankly unhealthy level with her.

But the stuff he and others pull off shouldn't be a thing.

You're giving that guy too much credit. Nurse isn't a hard killer to learn by any stretch of the imagination after literally your first game. Main reason why he's the big "nurse main" is cause he's the only guy who can stand playing that ***** for hours on end and not get bored or want to play someone else. I bet many others like Hens or Ayrun or even Truetalent could be just as good if they were forced to play only her for like a couple days.

    1. Trapper.
    2. Legion.
    3. Freddy.

I mean, Piggy at least have a secondary goal for survivors, which is traps on a head, it puts aditional presure and preventing gen-rush.

And she at least have "some sort of" anti-loop, and she can sneak up.

Aside from these 3 that I mentioned... They are typical M1 killers without an any anti-loop ability.

No way Legion's worse than pig. No way. That is the fattest cap I've seen on these forums.

Nurse is the issue here, not the perk.

Starstruck isn’t overpowered on anyone except her.

Deathslinger. Doctor. Wesker. Spirit (w/ Awakened Awareness). Wraith. Probably more I'm forgetting. Starstruck is strong enough of a perk that it could definitely take a hit or two. There's no counterplay to starstruck+agitation, you get exposed no matter how far away you are and any killer with half a brain can get at least 1 hit in the 30 seconds if they're anywhere close. Not to mention the cooldown is so low.

    Even hotter take:

Old Pop was 30 seconds and 25% at Tier 3.

Why couldn't we have had this 😭 this fixed all pops issues

  • @danielmaster87 said:

Exactly. If "overheat doesn't matter" then why do I consistently get very close to overheating when I don't bring a cooling add-on?

Because you're overusing his chainsaw and probably missing a bunch of sprints. Overheat only affects bad players for the most part.

  • Like 1% of all friend groups who play together in DBD are "toxic" I think. Most just want to have a good fun game, same as we all do. Winning a match or two doesn't make friend groups suddenly a free win, toxic OP SWF. But bad players need their scapegoats I guess.

  • I don't think it's fair at all to compare these killers. Blight has an actual skill curve, even if his skill floor is very low. Blight is like a set of stairs, nurse is like an elevator. Sure, if you've never seen an elevator before, it might take you a second to learn which buttons to press. But after that you don't need to think at all to use it. Similar with nurse. Learn how to hold M2 and look at survivors and boom you are unstoppable. At least blight has to learn exploits and think while using his power.

And because she just has so much potential she hasn't gotten a Tome about her with an outfit to boot yet.

Also, did you forget Jeff is an artist, too? Do you know how much creativity you can get out of outfits when the only thing you're limited by is "artist"? Yet BHVR seems to have forgotten that and have just slapped on the "metal fan, leather jacket" label.

Admittedly yeah I don't know why they haven't done a tome for her yet. But hey, they seem to have reworked how tomes work with the new Halloween ghostface tome. Maybe they'll do one now, and put lots of upgraded Feng skins in the Deep Rift?

  • @GentlemanFridge said:

Getting Exposed means you failed it. You can't let it see you before you grab it.

Thanks Devs. Really helping the survivor experience with these 🙄

  • It's also because Feng Min has WAY more potential for great skins. You can do anything with Feng. Cosplays, gamer gear, streaming gear, casual clothes, uniforms, the lot. What can you do with Jeff? Different leather jackets? Lol. Plus Feng is way more popular so there's that.

  • Ehhh, you have to be careful with buffing trapper. He's incredibly unfun to fight - he places the trap at the loop and you're forced to run away, and when you're looping a tile it's a 50/50 as to whether he's placed a trap behind the corner or not. If not, great. If yes, you get instadowned. Kinda uninteractive. Still not a great killer in the grand scheme of things but I wish he had more counterplay aside from "lol just waste time by following him the entire game and disarming his traps and revealing your location to him and hope he doesn't have the insta injure disarm add-on".

Not saying he is strong or should be nerfed really just pointing out flaws in his design.

  • Yeah he's been bugged for forever. You're supposed to be able to get behind something and break his chain, but you just slip off everything no matter how big the object. Hope they fix it honestly makes fighting him miserable.

  • Why, exactly, are you looking for that addon? Come on man, give the survivors a break.

  • She's actually a pretty strong killer if you learn her. Don't listen to all the whiners who need to excuse why they can't 4K with her by slandering her power, she's pretty much got everything in the book. Stealth, mobility, slowdown, can kill survivors without hooking, even some limited chase!

  • Camp hooks. There's literally nothing more to it

  • @Huevix01 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/350706/a-nurse-rework-would-change-nothing

I think that nurse should have some kind of rework or nerf in the future, but right Now they should change the blink sistem that makes m2 Hits count as m1, a nurse using Devour or noed is completely broken, if blight gets affected by m2 Hits why not nurse.

Tbf nurse has no way of getting M1s normally and her power teleports her to the survivor where she lunges, her power isn't the attack itself. Like spirit can use exposed because her power takes her to the survivor and she can do a normal lunge from there, same for nurse. If they removed basic attack perks and aura reading perks from being good on nurse then all nurses would just run full meta slowdown which is even worse

  • Ok, Meat Plant isn't as strong as some people make it out to be.

Sure, there's a lot of pallets, and sure, some of them are really strong. But after they're gone, what do you use? There's nothing. Exactly one good window in the entire map. Chewing through all the pallets on the map is unrealistic... but chewing through all the pallets in a 3-gen area? That's much more doable. Killers like nemesis, billy, bubba, huntress, they hardly even need to worry about the map's pallets either. And since the map is so small, it's pretty easy to 3-gen. It's also a small indoor map with lots of walls that's very good for stealth killers, and isn't very effective for holding W. A lot of the rooms are dead ends that result in free hits/downs, the totems are very well hidden, and don't even get me started on mobility killers like nurse and blight on this map.

Last I remember we were calling 3-gen maps like azarov's and suffo pit killer sided. So surely Meat Plant is at least balanced. It's got just as much problems for survivor as it does for killer. The pallets can be obnoxious at times, but obnoxious doesn't equal "free win" like this post is saying. But that's my two cents.

  • I'm pretty sure Jolt works with merciless storm too so they didn't even really solve the problem. Sheesh.

  • Rifts really fell off after the first two I think. Also why couldn't the new red recolour of that plague skin that's in the new rift have been the Amazon Prime reward? Were they just lazy and didn't want to make a new skin?

  • Welcome to Dead by Tunnel. Been happening since 6.1.0, ain't going away any time soon.

  • They got off pretty light honestly. Victor can still camp and tunnel. Victor can still slug. If you ask me they should go back and fix these before even considering any buffs.

  • Unironically, skill issue. Deathslinger still dominates in skilled hands in the chase. Just few people are good at him.

  • I think it should be 60 seconds, but should only get tokens when someone gets unhooked rather than hooked. That way the Obsession aura reading part is always useful and you don't need to worry about camping. It should also probably activate twice a game when you double hook everyone.

  • I think hag mains should be injected with blight serum

  • What can you say, it's one of the best builds for killer mains that just want to turn off their brain. Combine it with pentimento and plaything and boom you're now amoeba brain gaming, no thoughts allowed.

  • @xEmoGirlxAlexisx said:

Than also Sabotage and Body blocking a Hook should be removed Why so Killers arent allowed to Block the Survivor Objectives but Survivor can do something so killers cant get there Objective 🤷‍♀️

Never thought I'd see people on this forum complain about sabotage. Oh, well.

  • Agreed. Pentimento's effects are WAY too overblown for how easy it is to get. At the bare minimum, the gen slow should move to 2 or 3 totems active, if not just reducing the slowdown percentage entirely. Meanwhile plaything is one of the most unhealthy perks they've designed as of recently - making the guy the killer's tunneling easier to tunnel as they can't hear him coming. It's a miracle that more killers don't use this perk to tunnel as of now, but I imagine some streamer will make a video on it and we'll see a wave of it.

  • @Canas said:

Pinhead's chains are pretty much dogwater to use, his red addon (Engineer's Fang) should be basekit if you ask me. The fact that he has to aim the equivalent of a Nurse skillshot just to apply a slowdown inferior to a Clown gas bottle (which is a lot easier to land) is downright laughable, it doesn't even secure a follow-up hit from him.

    "Nurse"

    "Skillshot"

    Pick one.

  • Yes! Please yes. This is a really smart change, doesn't even effect killers who aren't camping. Hopefully a Dev sees this

  • @anarchy753 said:

Because if we had a "final girl" for every chapter; a. we'd basically have all women because horror loves final girls, and b. they'd all be pretty much the same character. I'm pretty sure the reason they stayed away from it since Laurie is because all the final girls last til the end, fight back, and are the killer's obsession. They want more unique characters than a full cast of the same trope.

    And what's wrong with that?

  • Yeah this is dumb. Hopefully they come back every halloween or this is very predatory. FOMO!

If you honestly think that Deathslinger "can shoot people with at the drop of a hat" then you haven't played him since the massive ADS nerf.

    "Massive ADS nerf"

They slowed down his aim from 0.1 seconds to 0.4 seconds.

    0.4 seconds.

If 0.4 seconds isn't fast enough I don't know what to say to you.

  • Deathslinger has a gun. A GUN. That he can shoot people with at the drop of a hat, through the tiniest of holes in any tile, drag them towards him so they make no distance, and get free hits and deep wounds without even having to hit them.

At what point do we as a community need to say "no" to this kind of buff begging? Slinger is fine, squarely above average, he just takes a bit of practice to play. More killers should be around his strength, not less.

  • Have you been living under a rock? Killers have been hard tunneling off hook and camping non stop ever since 6.1.0. came out. There's a reason the BP bonus is always on surv lol.

  • Wouldn't be surprised that killer mains want to optimise facecamping even more.

  • @burt0r said:

It's showing their constant pain after the 6.1 changes. Survivor are endlessly suffering and in screaming agony. /s

    Not even /s really lol

  • No. No no no. Never.

  • @jesterkind said:

To be fair, half of what you're describing here does require killer input. Hooking, kicking generators, even getting downs, these are active things, versus Ruin literally just requiring a survivor to let go of a generator and that's it.

(Though for the record I don't think Ruin was changed for that reason, I think it was changed because it had a very high pickrate and the purpose of the update was to change the meta)

Although, your last two confuse me. Which perk is it that activates when you miss your attacks? Unrelenting...? And the last one there is Unnerving Presence, which actually hurts the killer due to the great skill check zones being a little easier to hit, so that's a bad perk to mention in this context.

Definitely on firmer ground with DMS, though. There's a conversation there about how well it should get to play with Pain Res.

I wish Deadmans Switch activated when you get unhooked, not when you get hooked. Or that it gets reverted to how it was before they changed it cause of Pain Resonance. I don't use it much, but from playing against it it feels like it's useless unless you bring pain res and then it's unfun and oppressive.
