He can still shoot in less than a second so the changes don't do anything. It might actually be a buff, let's wait and see.
Really good death slingers will still dominate.

But it requires staring at survivor up close to get that ability, and without addons to speed it up, good survivors will have finished 3,5 gens before it pops, and once it pops, they simply have to hide for 60 seconds and it's gone. Or injured survivors tanking a hit for healthy survivors so they can outlast Myers. Once hooked, Myers has no real reasons to leave, because 1 of his targets is on the hook, and he cannot gain stalk from them, at least 1 running survivor has been partially stalked and the other 2 are very hard to find, so there is no way of getting T3 anymore unless you start camping.
Trapper, on the other hand, simply needs 1 person stepping in a trap, and that's an instadown. Trapping a certain loop early on where survivors dont know you've visited is an easy catch. Clown just has to spam bottles once or twice and get a hit. Having 35% speed difference(45% if you also used a yellow bottle on yourself) is pretty much a guaranteed hit. Especially since survivors cannot fast vault while hindered.
Myers is by far the most addon reliant killer, and even in that scenario, he relies on stalk speed and increasing his T3 timer so he can camp out an entire hookstate.
Myers is better at guaranteeing 1 kill than Clown and Trapper, but Clown and Trapper are far more likely to get 3k's as there isnt enough time in the world for Myers to guarantee 3 kills. That's not even talking about how stalk is limited. If a survivor DC's after they started walking? thats 1/4th of your potential stalk gone. Survivor suicides on hook but never been stalked? 1/4th of your stalk gone.
Idk dude he still has insta down, I've seen good myerses slug everyone at 5 gens. Clown can't do that ๐

try to use clown/demogorgon/twins/etc against a squad or players with a brain that have meta perks, see the difference.
even otz and truetalent are saying these things.
They might not be good with the killers. A really good killer can win with anyone
-
I hope they add the dust, spirit didn't even really get nerfed ๐ I don't think she should move that fast while invisible, you can't do anything even if you know where she is
-
I think deathslinger got buffed. He can still quick scope and now he walks faster when aiming so he can zone you better. And his iridescent addons got buffed and will be OP in the right hands

Loadouts like this nullify skill. Against a team with meta perks that can do all gens in 6 minutes there's very little a killer like Nemesis can do. No matter how good you are, the survivors have to be way, way, WAY worse than the killer to lose a match like this. Everything was stacked against OP, especially because he tried to play in a more fun way for everyone, so he's in his right to be upset about it.
People complain about survivors who "tryhard" because their basekit is already stronger than like, 20 out of 25 killers. So when you equip all the meta #########, especially if you're on a SWF, you're saying "hey I want to win without effort". Sure you can play like this if you want, but don't expect people to respect you. Just like people who play Nurse or Blight with 4 gen regression perks shouldn't.
Any killer is viable if you're good enough, a really good nemesis could have easily won a match like this because of his tentacle and zombies. Survivors really aren't as strong as you say they are haha play solo q and you will see
-
All I'm seeing is a salty player who sends salt.in chat. I would understand if you were playing plague or legion but nemesis is really strong so idk. You have ruin Undying with zombies so I don't think the game went as fast as you say
-
Blight isn't very hard to play so you don't need anything I don't think. Maybe the alchemist ring because that carries blight players

A paragraph would make sense though, for Alien. Disney own the greater licensing rights for the Alien franchise, but they're notoriously difficult to license with. Getting Ripley would be difficult because they'd have to appeal the rights for the original movie, and Disney would have to contact them first, which is much easier said than done.
Now, licensing a standalone "Alien" paragraph from something like Isolation or the new Fireteam game? You only need to go to Sega for that because they own the game-usage license for the Alien character(s). Much easier than attracting Disney's attention.
BHVR have done something like this before with Ghostface - they got the rights to the killer because the full movie was too expensive/difficult. I think this might be another case of that - AND it bypasses having to come up with a Nostromo map, which I'm sure the devs would be very happy to do due to all the conflicts the Nostromo would have with DBD's gameplay.
I don't like how much sense this makes. I want Ripley :(
-
Because giving trapper an extra trap would make him very oppressive at the start of a game, because all he would have to do is bring a setting speed add-on and chases would be impossible against him. He'd just place one trap on one end of the loop and another on the other end, and then you die unless there's another loop right next to it. If you let him have his more broken add-ons like iri stone and bloody coil, which makes disarming traps impossible and removes almost all of his counterplay, he would just be old legion with extra steps.
-
You might not be good at killer right now but with practice every killer is viable and powerful against the best of teams! Keep trying and don't be afraid to play survivor to see how other killers play.

Lol @ saying trickster is OP and close to nurse level
He can down you in 3 seconds from healthy with a RANGED ATTACK, and has pretty much infinite knives. And his knives have no counter that isn't "hope that he's bad" or "stay at a high wall loop the whole game". If that's not OP what is?
-
Double standards in the killer players. Maps like The Game are instant wins for all stealth killers and maps like Coal Tower are instant wins for every killer. Survivor map offerings are never instant wins, just watch any good killer video and you'll see

He's not the strongest, but he's unfun to play againstand alot of times there's nothing you can do, but not op
Tho he's satisfying to play
Yeah sure he's not the strongest ๐ just watch this video, trickster's been buffed from decent to nurse level
-
I think it should blind anybody who is 2 metres or closer to it whether or not they look away. That'd make it actually worth using a perk slot for and killers could still walk away from the grenade to not.get blinded

Obvious troll is obvious.
Ive faced 9 nemesis' since last night. Only seen 2 kills. But nice try anyway. It got your post count up by one.
Thought I'd hear the "bait" sooner or later. Just because an opinion is different from yours doesn't mean it's some coordinated attack dude
-
The way I see it, if someone escapes through the Hatch, they earned it. In order to do this you have to have completed a certain number of generators and have found the hatch before the killer, which is really hard on some maps.
Killers complaining about keys really just need to take a chill pill. It's just one escape, and it barely happens ever. You don't need a 4K, dude.
-
One of the strongest killers in the game. He's got no counterplay and gets free hits at every window and every pallet without any way to prevent this, and aiming his laser beam takes no effort or skill whatsoever. You could train a monkey to do it. Not only that, but his cages let him tunnel extremely easily and kill somebody in under a minute. His add-ons are also not terrible, he's got some really cool and interesting ones like the undetectable one and the aura reading one, not to mention overpowered ones like the range add-ons that remove his one weakness, getting out of range of his laser.
He needs a full rework, or at least a nerf. At the VERY LEAST he either needs to be 4.4m/s, or the laser needs to not go through walls. The laser not going through walls is probably the less controversial one, because it would kind of fix the guaranteed death.
Pyramid Head is like old Legion. You WILL get downed very quickly and there's nothing you can do about it, and the only reason it's not complained about more is that killers rarely play him for some reason.
-
No, Unbreakable is fine. It's completely useless unless the killer slugs you for long enough that you can fully recover, and even then it only activates once. It's high risk-high reward.

You literally said the BBQ + pop combo was overpowered in your last sentence.
Killers are hypocrites for complaining about good survivor perk combos when they use an overpowered and uncounterable perk combo every game. It's the small PP build for killer.
Yes, I did say the combo of BBQ and Pop is overpowered. Because it is; that's the whole point of this post. I don't see your point?
BBQ on it's own isn't overpowered. Pop on it's own is incredibly, incredibly strong (bordering on overpowered) but falls just shy. Combining them makes Pop much, much stronger. Therefore, the combo is overpowered.
-
@KingFrost said:
You realize BBQ only shows generators that are at least 40 meters away from the hook, right? That means they go away from the hook, allowing survivors to unhook. Would you rather they just proxy camp to create pressure? This promote healthy gameplay. Gen tapping isn't 'playing well' either. Nor is your teammates getting hooked. If anything Pop + BBQ rewards good play by the killer. They get to see where survivors are for downing a survivor.
Thrilling + Pop is another good combo, and it works on nearby gens, which means you aren't risking the gen popping before you get there, and can defend the hook.
I never said BBQ was overpowered, just the combo of BBQ and Pop. Hex: Ruin isn't overpowered. Hex: Undying also wasn't overpowered, it wasn't even that strong with any other hex perk.; but when the two are combined, it becomes far too strong. It's the same with BBQ and Pop (except Pop is a bit less healthy than no -Ruin Undying)
-
@Crowman said:
Don't get hooked and the killer can't get value from both Pop and BBQ.
Great, another piece of "counterplay" relying on solo queue teammates knowing what a pallet is. Maybe in a fantasy world.
-
Salt and frustration. I don't think there's much thought put into it, it's just "other side beat me waaaaa" baby rage
-
Demogorgon is like a weaker Pyramid Head. He has the same "Lol I'm holding my power as you run towards the window or pallet, vault it and I hit you or don't vault it and I cancel and hit you." that he does, except he can't tunnel as well. He's extremely boring to go against

Not every object I'll still beat a Blight at the killer shack. Not to mention that a lot of open maps are a hindrance to a Blight. And his short FOV And frankly this is the first nerf Blight post I've ever seen. So what you can't beat Blight not a good enough reason to nerf.
You clearly haven't gone against any good blights if you think he's weak at killer shack. He completely shuts down the whole building with zero effort; watch scott jund's blight guide if you want to see how. I don't see the issue with open maps, he should do very well on those because of his high mobility? FOV is being changed too.
-
I kind of like the struggling we have now, feels very intense. Having it be automatic would make being hooked even more boring than it currently is.
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
Yeah, no he has counter play. He's not like Nurse with no counterplay. He's balanced any person who's mastered a killer can be a problem some more then others. A master Blight will Mess you up same as a master Huntress or Oni. And some loops his power isn't strong. So yeah he doesn't need a nerf. And just because a killer is strong doesn't mean they need a nerf get good.
What counterplay? Most blights can turn and hit you around any object. And his hitbox is so massive that dodging it is near impossible.
-
@Crowman said:
Killers who require the player to be skillful in order to be oppressive don't need to be nerfed. It would be a problem if Blight was easy to pick up and could stomp survivors without any skill expression and that would warrant a nerf.
So Nurse didn't need a nerf? Come on, that's ridiculous.
-
A lot of people I know stopped playing after the endless killer buff after killer buff after survivor nerf after killer buff we've been having. When was the last time survivors got a buff?
-
Don't agree with Undying keeping tokens for this exact reason. Having to cleanse two totems on swamp at 3 stacks of devour is an instant win for the killer with no investment or anything on their part.
-
@QwQw said:
Lets not nerf Blight.
People say he's the third strongest killer in the game if played right. Why so against it?
-
Delete NOED and Tinkerer
-
Plague is strong but boring, noone plays her
-
Because a lot of killers are really, really desperate for kills in any way and don't like to try too hard. If they know they're against good players they will just camp/tunnel to get their kills. It's stupid but the developers say they want camping and tunneling to stay so what can you do. This isn't all killers but I'd say a good portion of them.
-
Dont think this is hard enough nerf. She's still invisible so no way to tell what's happening or what to do. Idk
-
Visionary could show the repair progression of gens within its range, maybe? Like that wraith add-on.

Demo isn't nearly as strong as Oni is, that's the difference.
Demogorgon isn't as strong as Oni but they're not massively far apart. They both have incredible mobility and a really, really strong chase power with little to no drawbacks. But at least Oni can be countered most of the time, but at the expense of having an instadown if you screw up. More risk for more reward, as a killer should be ideally. I think people really underestimate Demogorgon to be honest.
-
@Golden_spider said:
I'm tired of Demo literally telling the entire map of when it does something.
Basic attack? Global.
Shred attack? Global.
Shred a pallet? Global.
Missed a basic attack? Global.
Missed a Shred? Global.
Using a portal? Global.
Walking? Not global but it's loud and can be heard from a decent range away.
Even as Survivor I get annoyed when hearing Demo scream something for the 30th time in the match.
Oni, Hillbilly and a bunch of similarly strong killers have those mapwide sounds too. It's to offset for their strong powers. Plus, it fits the killer as an interdimensional monster.
-
I just wanna give them a hit before leaving :(

"At least not in the 1v4"
Good thing this game is a 1v4 and not a 1v1 then.
Ok then, I guess Deathsnorer and Redhead's Pinky Finger/Flask of Bleach Clown are fine then.
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
Uhhh have you thought about maybe not vaulting a window in front of a DS/PH/Demo? There is this other resource on the map called pallets that pretty much hard counter some of these killers. You should use them.
As for Demo balance wise, as long as they tune down his hitbox so it isn't complete BS id be fine with rat tail and liver being base kit, plus a hitbox when shredding off of a building for some meme shreds.
Also, hillbilly overtuned? If anything id say he was overrated. People claimed you couldn't loop a good hillbilly yet he was easy as hell to loop and pretty much the only thing he had and still has is really good mobility.
Demogorgon can break pallets with his shred. If you drop the pallet he'll just break it with a reduced cooldown and it's like Leatherface all over again. Deathslinger can pull you around loops and injure you over pallets even if you drop it so that doesn't matter, and PH has the same braindead "mindgame" at pallets and windows. And of course Hillbilly was overtuned? He had a literal instant instadown with just one addon, infinite speed and mobility, and no limitations on his power whatsoever. He can just curve if you're trying to loop him (which he can still do) so I don't see your argument.
-
It's weird how there's only nea for survivor lore. Breaks the trend set so far.
-
@Tisyaboi said:
Is this guy trying to say Demo is op? Please tell me Iโm wrong..
I'm not saying he's OP, at least not in the 1v4. I usually win most of my games against him. He just doesn't have much counterplay for how simple his power is to use and i'm surprised there aren't more people pointing this out.
