LIke that is any difference than survivors that whine that a killer is kill-rushing. Oh, I'm sorry, I think the politically correct term survivors mains want us to use is "Tunneling".
But that has nothing to do with the fact that BBQ is a fair and balanced perk.
I'm surprised so many people validated that with a reply.

The delay has to do with the event. Nothing to do with the mid-chapter release. Only the event's date was announced, which has been postponed.
I wonder what the issue was O_O
AFAIK, the event was more or less built into The Rift.
Perhaps it has to do with the recent 'vanishing cosmetics' issue.

But again, casuals aren't going to do the super hard challenges because they are casual players. I don't consider myself casual. I think I play the game more than Zubat does at this point.
So many of these challenges are unfeasible and the stars must align to even be able to do one of them. Not to mention most of the hard ones some salty player can just deny you of your success by disconnecting or refusing to "play along" (if 3 of my teammates get hooked in the basement, I'm keeping my ass hidden and looking for the hatch). Many casuals are not going to attempt all of the challenges because they are anything but casual, or because half of them are literally not on the side or even the character they like to play as.
You guys keep saying that the rift is supposed to be designed to be completed by casuals, but the hard fact is that the math and the numbers do not line up with that statement. They just don't.
You know, unless you buy the solution to the problem you guys have created, by purchasing the time saver.
It's not my intention to try and throw shade around, but there's smoke in the air right now and usually when there's smoke, there's fire. I've already been burned with third degree burns by similar tactics by companies far too many times as it is and this honestly looks absolutely no different from those previous instances. We all know that the whole purpose of this rift mechanic is to make more money and that's fine, but it cannot possibly be stated that the Rift was designed for casuals to be able to complete it and the proof, evidence and facts show that a casual trying to complete the rift requires as many hours everyday as a near full-time job.
I wonder if the delay is to secretly address these difficult challenges...

OMG, they are not!

Claudette is a super sweet heart of a character, so I'm excited for some lore on her. I just hope they don't ruin her character to appease the "All Claudettes are horrible people" meme. She is probably my favorite of the female cast and it's not cause she can blend into the dark better.
Trapper was my boy for awhile, but I never cared much for his personality and lore. He's just a rich jerk gone murderous. Most of the male Killers have almost 0 sympathy factors going for them unlike the females who get the sob stories.
I used to main Claudette before I started playing with some of my friends (they've only recently gotten into DBD), but now I'm a Steve (Default outfit with Scoops Ahoy shirt..I have the full outfit, but prefer this).
I've also just finished getting every perk for Trapper, so I'm pretty stoked about his inclusion in this set.

Mine is gone, too.
It seems to be universal.

If there was an infinitely accessible version of the game with every killer, survivor, and perk unlocked, what would be the benefit/draw of going back to the 'main' game?

So when ppl say that "the dumb guy is breaking all the pallets" they mean the guy doing this end game (at around 7/10mins of a usual 10/15mins match)".
Can you link me to the pallet respawn information, please?

You mean the one where I was saying you could only at best activate your healing perk 5 times ? Yes I think so.
If by that you mean bronze. Yeah I can believe that.
Pfff hahahahaha xD you guys are fun! I hope you cleansed a totem bc pretty sure you just got injured! XD go hide in a locker now.
You're misremembering.
Your actual words are visible in both of our post histories as I've quoted that particular statement.
You also stated, earlier today, that pallets respawn after a set period of time :-/
I just have a hard time believing that someone that consistently states such misinformation can progress into the upper echelons of the game.
I am currently Rank 16 on Survivor, so that may be bronze!

Of course there is.
SWF do not have literally infinite power, so we just set Killer power equal to SWF's large but finite power and then bam problems solved.
That's very vague.
Can you provide some sort of example scenario?
-
There is literally no possible killer buff that could compensate for survivors constantly having the same info/co-operative potential as a 4 man SWF each and every game.

Wait wait wait...the *killers* are toxic ?
Survivors have; insta-heal, BT, DS, DH, Lithe, SB, MoM, Spinechill and even an aura reading perk for finding the hatch! You guys have insane unbreakable loops, pallets respawning every 30s/60s, etc.
Who's toxic again ? Clearly you have not been a red rank killer who isn't Hillbilly.
How are these pallets respawning?

The devs have clearly stated that there are no plans to rework DS in the near future.

I guess they're trying to see who can ban them first - The Devs for in-game harassment, or Steam for out-of-game.

This is the main reason I don't use Dead Hard. My ping can't handle it.
Nothing tempts me more to suicide on hook than stuff like this - It is very hard to remain composed (in-game) when this happens instead of instantly writing the match off.

"don't chase for more than 40 seconds" lmao So I should drop chase against any half decent survivor then spend another 15-30 seconds finding another survivor and if they're good drop that chase too? what?
Some people are never going to be playing the same game as you, if you catch my drift.
I'm teaching some friends how to play and loop in KYF, and we're using 40s as a minimum goal.

Don't bother talking to me either. You bash killers till you are proven wrong then slink off to make a new post about Killers being bad or OP. Whatever man. I'm smart enough to know you will legit NEVER listen to anyone. So, brick wall that gives survivors a bad name, Don't bother talking to me, as I will now ignore you.

If you see two people like that on the other side you failed as a killer to stop survivors doing their objective.
And deserve to lose that gen.
And if the hook occurs within the first minute of gameplay?

Oh I’m sorry for asking for an answer that should have probably been addressed by a transparent company sooner, considering most of the playerbase reside OUTSIDE of Canada.
Expecting us to know or to assume such a thing is the equivalent of me expecting you to know that it’s Ohi day in Greece in two weeks .

This is where "COUNTERPLAY" comes in, as you killers like to tell survivors about so much.
Just don't take the bait, don't go too far away from gens and you can play around and counterplay the survivor baiting you into running to the other side of map. Nobody is forcing you to run that far and throwing the game.
Right now you get NOED from throwing the game, wich is bad gameplay, a reward you could say, wich is what NOED Is. A reward for throwing the game and having tunnelvision.
That is why it needs to get removed, rewarding bad gameplay and not countering what survivors are doing is just not good.
What's the counterplay (in the quoted scenario) for seeing the two people on the gen across the map after hooking someone? Losing the generator?
I'm assuming that part of the counterplay of 'not following them into the other side with an m1 killer' and allowing them to heal involves hoping that there is not a gen there, too @_@

Go play Clown or Wraith.
You know how you can hook someone with Trapper, see 2 people working on a gen on the opposite side of the map via bbq, and have no way to actually reach them before the gen pops? SUPREME MAP PRESSURE
If it's an SWF, or even average solos, running you to such extreme portions of the map each time because they know this super common/obvious strat? SUPREME MAP PRESSURE
At this point, it's not really a conversation/debate with that person, so it's probably best to disengage, captain.

@SinisterDog said:

not when you're playing a killer like clown who has nearly no map pressure to affect the game to that extent
Apprently, it's the killer's fault they were 3 genned, but it's not the survivor's fault when they allow NOED to activate/remain active.
DBD Forum Logic @_@
-
Sweaty Killers
God-Tier A) Clown - Morbidly obese/Breathing issues
God-Tier B) Leatherface - Meat sweats
1) Wraith - Cloak is too warm
2) Legion - Always running around / working up a sweat
3) Huntress - Body adapted to frigid woodlands
3) Freddy - Sweat glands damaged via fire
4) Plague - Sweats because she is always sick
5) Pig/Ghostface - Sweat while doing lunges/crouching
-
Cringe

Devs have recently said that there are no plans to change DS in the near future.
-
BUT IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT!
-
Also found the person that thinks the game should be over when generators are completed (I was very sad when they patched all the end game builds/perks out of the game because the entity just beams survivors up upon gen completion /s) T_T
Also found the person that didn't mention that Adrenaline now activates in a 100% failure scenario (0 gens done, hatch closed, 3 survivors dead - nor even that the hatch is GUARANTEED to open every game regardless of generator progress), that NOED activation can occur because a killer was juggling survivors enough/applying enough pressure that doing totems was not possible (killer intent), that most times getting more than 1 kill off of NOED is a result of survivor spoonfeeding, and the cold, hard truth that NOED is one of the ONLY comeback mechanics killers have in the endgame (which, surprisingly, does not end until everyone is dead or escaped, even with the generators done :O)
Then again, I'm not surprised that people have such narrow ideas and resort to histrionics - Someone called me out today for using Brutal Strength on Wraith @_@
Edit - Actually seems like an invite to swap BS for NOED, given all the BS spouted here about it :D

I think I found the person that could not ESCAPE DEATH T_T

All the perks you listed, borrowed time is a perk that allows you to overcome a camper, which is a massive advantage for the killer. Decisive is a perk that allows you to basically ignore one hook if the killer is very "attentive" to you. None of these perks are related to objective completion, they are survival ones. Also, every killer perk is a anti escape, the only difference is that they are regular perks and dont give you a free down, live with that

Thanks for making the conversation about me personally. You do realize that's against the rules right?
Don't worry though, I won't report you because frankly I could not care less.
They also accused me of white knighting for the battle pass when I literally questioned whether it would be possible for casuals to complete. The topic is in my post history.
It was beyond hilarious and really showcased that they are, in fact, the one filled with bias, which is a nice cherry in top of the "you must be working for bhvr" cake they're baking for you here.
You're better off ignoring dumpster fires like that on the forums - they'll get sorted out, eventually ;3

Oh, it's an easy game, but it ruins everyone's fun, survivors included.
