Oh yeah, KI or aura would be amazing in T3. I actually really like that idea.
Likewise.
It would make T3 have other uses than 'walk behind survivor, pop, down.'
It's currently the most boring 'power loop' in the game.

i've said it before, i'll say it again: nothing the devs can do will make anyone 100% happy with this game. Killers will always find an issue with survivors, somehow, and vice versa. The only thing that DOES change, is the amount of animosity each side has for the other with every buff, nerf, patch, update etc.
I must admit that I envy the people that have the emotional energy to spare to get worked up over the game and blast off on the forums.
It must honestly be nice.

I just feel people forget its pvp or lack empathy, like if it was just a co-op game then it wouldn't matter but both roles are people and it should always feel fun and fair for both sides.
BHVR do try, they may be abit slow with some things and look at bad data at times but people forget both sides get changes and balancing.
I'm just waiting for people to use "legion and GF got buffed and you're nerfing survivor" as reasons
It's the most replied topic in the ptb forum right now, haha.
The OP is one of the 'usual suspects', though, so take it with a grain of salt after checking their history.

I'm honest about anything before hand, probably be blunt but I'm honest.

Agreed.
I play both sides and sometimes do some cheesy/greasy plays.
I'm well aware of the issues plaguing each side as a result >_>
-
You don't give the IW user any further chances to participate in any chases.
-
I'd like ranks/grades to be hidden permanently, regardless of whether mmr is on/off.
-
I don't really know what else to tell you.
It's a great map for stealth killers - I perform well there against hit squads/conga lines.
Your build is a bit weak, but how 'mean' did you play?

@MilManson said:
3 man SWF with all the meta perks against the weakest killer in the game and all running absolutely miles towards the nearest pallet as soon as they heard the lullaby, couldn't even get close to them because they'd be halfway across the map.
I had them in the previous game as well and they all died because they kept trying to click macro me, didn't get a single GG then but as soon as they get the gate open and there's nothing I can do it's "GG EZ".
And then instead of leaving they stand there doing this and destroying my eardrums, can we like have the entity kick them out of the game once they open the gate?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/HBO0SF6W0DCU/20220407014546-1aaaaa.png
Edit: Oh and they had a boon ######### knows where on the map and as soon as someone DID get injured they'd disappear and heal up and come back.
I always thought Lerys was a great map for stealth killers - I find it pretty easy to perform there as them (including as Sadako).
-
Forgot to mention that I find it pretty amusing when I'm trying to get someone out of the game ASAP and the other survivors will all take turns bodyblocking 1 hit each, knowing the exact position that I'm chasing the survivor in/to, indicating a strong micced up team.
I'm obviously making the correct play against teams like this as they can just do this on any death hook/when the gates are powered.
Admittedly, really good teams can misdirect when all survivors are injured via blood/scratches and force a hook on someone else, effectively gaining additional time for their team.
The complaints from teams like this, stacked with meta perks is always a hilarious read - there's nothing wrong with them playing like this and I don't mind as I like the variety, but the attitude/entitlement is laughable.
-
The "best thing to do" is play however you want in a manner that lets you get the most enjoyment/value out of the game.
It really, truly sucks that so many people are unable to mentally handle being eliminated quickly in a game based on....eliminating people quickly, but that's a problem with their own expectations and/or sense of entitlement.
Edited to add that I literally don't care about anyone's thoughts or feelings when playing the game (aside from cutting someone that is obviously new a break from time to time, but that's more so because the game doesn't have an adequate training mode to practice against various killers) - I'm not a tool by any means, always say gg, and compliment people on their good plays in the end chat (even if said play results in me being left hanging for two minutes or getting 0 kills/hooks).
I don't entertain people's imaginary rulesets or expectations regardless of the side I'm playing and actually understand that the dynamic swings in performance/tactics/cheese/grease/whatever is what makes the game replayable. If I wanted the same experience every time, I'd play a single player game with a linear path.

I agree with that part. But I do think it is a bug lol
It's confirmed as intentional.
I usually position myself under a pallet if one is nearby before recovering, but maybe it has some practical/unavoidable repercussions that I am unaware of.
Hemorrhage on injured survivors seems to be slower than the advertised 7%/s unless they've fixed it since my last go on the PTB.

you mean configurative files that allow people to cheat by giving wall-hacks against killer from red stain enhancements? those have been in the game for years.
many people that used stretch res also used these configuration files related to brightening red glow like christmas tree. BVHR hasn't address these issues because no real content creator has talked about this. The only reason why they changed stretch res is because tru3 was complaining about it as legal cheating. this is just the other form of legal cheating that has been allowed in DBD for long time.
m1 killers are bully material anyway even without these legal cheats subtle cheats. red glow enhancers are about as bad as stretch res.
Cool.
What's your opinion on the issue I presented?

I mean you can’t expect to not try harder when using a mechanic or a character that’s weak. Either you play a good character so you don’t have to sweat as much or you accept the fact that you’re playing a bad character and are going to have to try a lot harder. Can’t have it both ways
What does that have to do with the situation that occurs at the timestamp?

Because gaming is a social engagement.
If you play in an onlinegame in a way you never would in an offline game (or a local lan-party) you might do it wrong.
And if you play this way in a local setting, you might soon not have someone to play with.
The problem is players on both sides treating other players like bots.
Edit: I would like for 3 or even 4 man swf to be only able to play kyf. Because a lot of those groups are very toxic because they know they have the power. But if you have to bring your own killer, if you are toxic to them too much, they might just quit on you.
Most people actually don't enjoy playing with people that self-sandbag, particularly in the offline Fighting and FPS scenes.
Edit - I'd also extend this to other game types as well, such as board games.
-

Why?
Why are Killers obligated to do this?
And why should they be treated horribly when they don't?
Some people just can't handle the 'elimination' part of the game.
A fantasy ruleset isn't going to stop me from removing a player quickly if I want/need to.
I'll do what I need to in order to make the rest of the match enjoyable and/or easier.
If that means player A gets "less than 3 minutes" of game time, player A is getting less than 3 minutes of game time.
-
The reporting system and anti-cheat in this game are both laughable.
The influx of cheaters only serves to highlight this - Changes can be made to both, but nothing is done :*(

bronze mmr is figure of speech. no one knows what their MMR is, but you need be facing trash survivor players to be winning 50 games in a row with weak killers vs people of equal skill. Said nothing about emblems. I'm not sure why he is shocked. Day 2-4 MMR is pretty standard to what everyone else in more competitive regions is playing against every day. I thought he was just deranking/smurfing or something.
Not personally interested/invested in 'win streaks', but based on what you said:
For clarification, do you mean winning 50 games in a row under any circumstances or just under this MMR test?
What regions would you consider 'competitive' compared to the region Otz plays in?
Do you think there's something sketchy with these win streaks occurring behind the scenes that thousands of live viewers are unable to see/recognize?
I don't really understand "you need be facing trash survivor players to be winning 50 games in a row with weak killers vs people of equal skill" as it's a contradictory statement.

most killer players want easy games. how do you think otz acquired his 50 winstreak on no add-on clown? It wasn't by facing good players. it was by facing bronze MMR survivors. Let's see him do 30 second afk no add-on killers with same skill-level and call the game "killer-sided".
Day 1 MMR was me winning games as killer with 5 generators standing. rest of the days were proper. talk about facing 5-6 minute generators every game.....
Bronze/Iri/etc has no bearing on your MMR.
I will agree, though, that the people that get to Iri 2-3 days after reset are also most likely at a high MMR given that you need to win X amount of games while pipping in a very short time to do so.

What you call fun is honestly bullying. The reality is that your non-sweaty games are just babies that you're beating up. I don't need scrims to find appropriate opponents, they already exist in the MMR pool, they just need to be put into my lobbies.
Maybe ask them what their results were before making up scenarios in your mind?
Just a suggestion, of course!

Hey, how about we start trying to have the mindset of "this needs to be changed because it's poor game design" instead of "oh, we got something nerfed, nerf something for their side"?
Please?
That requires, at the very least, a basic understanding of the game and its balance...if you catch my drift.

Been watching tons of survivors burn rpd badges because the hook once again no longer spawns near library. Meaning even without boil over killers can't hook survivors once they go down there.
Why remove the hook completely??? I understand the issue with the spot it was in, because killers could body block that part and made it impossible for survivors to get saves. I understand their complaints with that.
But just move the hook to be a static spawn at the bottom of the library in one of the open corners. Why does it have to be either survivors bully killers, or killers get to bully survivors? Are we just gonna keep adding it and removing it to give both sides equal time to abuse it? Lol
Maybe like like killers get their hook up top on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday. Survivors get it Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Then just do revolving Sundays and holidays 😂 or you know, just spawn one in the bottom of the library where it's fair to both parties.
Flip a coin when you see it burn...
Heads - Go AFK
Tails - Slug only
