I barely raised mine on PS4, I tried on the highest sensitivity once and I quickly turned it down. It felt like I was doing a 180, maybe even close to 360, at the slightest movement of the stick lol.

Its not much better on ps4, and my point still stands. We've been dealing w this for over 3 years. Switch got some catching up to do. Hopefully they optimize all consoles at once, but if switch gets it before us, then DBD just lost a fan on ps4...
PS4 is the smoothest of all 4 platforms I own the game on. The skill checks are smooth, they lag a little on other platforms for me. The chases as survivor doesn't lag and it's brighter than the other platforms. As killer the only issues I have ate occasional pauses when entering bloodlust, not every game for some reason, the sound issues that are plaguing every platform and the survivors teleporting a few feet once downed.
I am not saying others cannot experience issues just because I don't have many just to be clear.

If they do before us, ps4 and Xbox users will burn this MFR to the ground!! Lmao
It's a lot worse on Switch than it is on other platforms though. At least you can successfully struggle to the end on ps4, xbox and pc. The Switch version stutters and lags more often, is darker than ps4 and sometimes a lag spike can kill you during the struggle phase.
The Switch version is the worst optimised of them all. Just to note I have not played mobile so I cannot speak for that.

Ok rude, and i didn't buy the dlc up to stranger things only bought Saw. And i am talking about the FPS and i have a issue and my frends or othdr people around the world (maybe). And they dont need to really fix it i was just asking a question. I stopped dying becausd i put tv quality 720p and it made the fps less rough and one final thing
I am P3 Claudetteš
Why am I rude? I was giving my experience of owning it on the Switch and the issues I faced with it. I was saying I bought all the dlc up to that point, not you :p Nothing in my post was reflected towards you, or your opinions, in any negative way.
'If you can please fix it and make the FPS of Dead by Daylight Nintendo Switch Version more Stable'
That is what you wrote and that is not a question, it is a request.
Edit* oh, because you're a Claudette. I get it now lol.

Also Get lost lol
OK rude lol

Not sure on an actual figure but I got 4 killers from prestige 2 to prestige 3-50 and all the perks I want, not all perks though. I also got 2 other killers from prestige 1 to 3-50 with the perks I want. Then I got Oni half levelled to his first prestige too.
I still have lots of cakes left on those prestiged killers.
-
I chase, down and hook as killer I get bp, the survivors are getting bp by doing gens, totems, being chased, pallet stuns (I don't respect pallets), blinding if they can, unhooking and healing.
They do not have to give me bp for free and I won't give them free bp either. Farming is boring, I just play the game, win or lose or draw and move on to the next one.
I will however down and take the final survivor to the hatch if at least 4 cakes are played.
-
There are dailies to do as well, maybe some of the killers don't have cakes on them because they are not interested in levelling those killers.
I have been burning cakes with killer most games, bloody party streamers if I don't have cakes and a few dailies left me with nothing to offer except solo bonus bp.
I have also had a lot of survivors not using cakes too. On average I roughly estimate these figures throughout the event in my games.
5 cakes 10%
4 cakes 20%
3 cakes 30%
2 cakes 20%
1 cake 15%
0 cakes 5%

that requires so much work that it won't ever be considered.
mine doesn't. and if it will be well received during that experiment day by the community, it could become a game option.
It was a joke, something that would be funny to see but I know the devs won't put in all that effort for one day :p
This is BHVR we are talking about, with their spaghetti coding it would probably take months just for survivor to get first person. They are supposed to be third person though and I doubt that will ever change. They have the eyes, the killers are supposed to have the ears, even that's broke.
-
It's a completely bright and sunny morning, no fog but there are 4 killers, weaponless, and 1 survivor trying to get revenge on them. The tables have turned lol.

Delete the hatch. its a terrible mechanic
This but make it so the doors spawn on opposite sides of the map so the survivor still has a chance, map dependant. It's happening far too often that they either spawn on the same side or in an L shape that only takes a few seconds to check on.

I like it. Or light them all up if there's an active hex.
I am not bothered if they are all lit or unlit as long as it gets survivors doing something other than gens lol

While on paper that may sound like a good idea, can you imagine getting to the end game and noed has activated, and yet there's no way to tell which totem it is because it's not highlighted? Hex totems not highlighting would be an absolute nightmare for survivors.
That's why they should ignore gens now and again and search for totems, or break them when passing them as I have seen some survivors just ignore them completely. I do think a totem counter should appear next to the gens left, available for all survivors and killers to see, if it did happen though.
-
I just had a match in which a survivor traded hooks and the recently unhooked survivor rescued her. I downed the rescuer and got ds'd and the two of them escaped since it was near the 99'd exit gate.
TLDR I feel your pain.
-
They should not light up, this will force survivors to break more dull totems.

When they announced ranks would no longer be visible I said "Great. Instead of fixing the problem you'll just make it so I can't see how bad the MM is screwing me" Considering how bad it's getting it might not be a bad idea to just remove rank.
I am looking forward to the new mmr that is coming at some point in the next five years. It will mess newer players up at first as everyone's mmr settles around were it should be but it should be better in the long run. I really hope they don't mess it up and take balancing with it seriously.
-
Just to show how messed up the matchmaking is lol.
-
No, there is no perk like that. The closest thing is monstrous shrine but that only speeds it up and would not put you in the second stage instantly.
You should say which killer it was because, and I know this is obvious, if it was pyramid head and you were caged that would put you onto second hook instantly.
EDIT Tatariu must have been typing the same time as me so their post didn't show which is why it mostly says the same thing :p
-
Killers do lose blood points and emblem progress for remaining near a hooked survivor but the devs say it's a valid, although not very good, way to win. The problem is if it is solo and there is no kindred people assume no one is going for the hook even though the other two survivors could be waiting for the chance to unhook them. This can snowball into a 4k which this camping killer wants.
Kindred should be base for survivors, not a perk as this would give solos at least a little information that swf have just by being on comms.
-
I'm on PS4 mostly and it runs steady except the occasional stutter when entering bloodlust and the just downed survivor teleporting about 20 inches in whichever direction the game chooses once downed. Xbox seems a little less steady than ps4 imo, there is noticeable lag, albeit very small, during skill checks.
I stopped playing the Switch version because of how badly it plays, it desperately needs a lot of optimisation and maybe some lighting or particle changes if these are causing it.
-
You get out of tier one very quickly though, including running infinite tier 3. I understand it's a problem on the bigger maps though if 2 or all 4 start together at the opposite end of it, getting there takes a while and the gen could be popped once you get there.
Myers is not really an early game killer though, unless people just allow you to stalk them, getting later with higher add ons increasing tier 3s length. He is more of a snowball killer so, unless you're facing a group of potatoes, you should expect between 1-3 gens to pop, once again this increases with each tier 3 extension up to infinite.
-
I bought the switch version day one along with all dlcs up to stranger things. I ended up giving up on this version due to the framerate issues and lag. I died on the hook earlier than I should have because a lag spike would hit when I was mashing the button causing it not to register. Not to mention some maps can be far too dark making it easy for blendettes to abuse this.
Optimization on the Nintendo Switch should have become a high priority the very second it released but sadly it never seemed to have got better with the fps issues.

When I play as the killer and people do that I can still see their red silhouette.
They have to have the perfect angle, directly opposite where the hooked person is. Even a millimeter out would show enough aura to see them as the killer walks away from the hook. A lot of experienced survivors know the angles although there can be errors on their part too sometimes. Lesser experienced survivors think the gen is a magical aura blocking shield and crouching near it, at any angle, will make them invisible.

whoever is saying ebony is too strong is a idiot, like who is saying that?
Just look through the pages on the forums, it's either complaining about noed and/or moris. A lot of please nerf threads from survivors, same with keys lots of threads about those from killers.
-
@OktobmerButOktobmier said:

its already been nerfed, if you dont want decisive's in your game just bring a ebony.
Problem with that is survivors will start more threads saying 'ebony moris too strong, please nerf' lol. It's a vicious cycle my friend
-
I actually love this theory, every death they suffered drained their sanity and rational thoughts and reasoning that little bit more. Each and every death turning them to embrace the entity rather than try to run from it.
People may say 'well what about all the old killers? Where are they?' My answer, the entity did not see worth in them anymore and discarded them in whatever way the entity would do that.
-
What about a game mode where it's last survivor standing and the winner gets double, possibly triple depending on how their mischief goes, bp stacked on top of offerings that increase also. An extra set amount of bp is awarded for being in the exit gate area once the third survivor dies. The killer can only get a 3k but gets an extra 10% bp per hook maxing at 100% on top of their offerings. It could also use your thief mode suggestion and the you could swap the perks to confuse the chased survivor. The survivors must unhook otherwise bonus bp is reduced.
The survivors still have to do the normal to open the doors but only one can leave, it's the survivors job to sandbag and draw the killer to the others as much as possible whilst staying alive themselves. Once three survivors are killed the match ends.
How much do you trust your fellow survivors to do all the generators before they try to get you killed?
-
DS is only too strong after egc begins, before that it isn't too bad Imo. If you down a survivor near an exit gate and there is no other hook close enough to get to and the only one is near enough to the gate for them to crawl out, it is op.
Let's say you have had a rough match, you hook the survivor. One of the others hook trade with bt, the unhooked survivor now unhooks this survivor with bt. You may down them but ds guarantees the escape, if you don't pick them up they get out by crawling to the exit.
Now you can say your close to the exit, chase them out before hooking this survivor. The survivor would require a bt hit and a normal hit all the while standing at the edge of the exit. Your doing this and someone else could be healing the downed survivor with a medkit, 2 people if all 4 are still alive. You have no choice but to accept the loss.
TLDR it is op after egc begins, not so much beforehand.

Ds you get hook and go on the nearest gen work on it for a minute even if the killer is near you dont care you cant get hook
Umbreakable you get slug by the killer you pick yourself up by yourself you run this with DS and you can do whatever you want after you get hook and the killer cant stop you.
BT you should not be able to unhook someone in the middle of a chase and ask him to take a hit so you can take some distance again
Killers can just go for the lunge though, no grab and downing the survivor at least applies some pressure and gets at least one off of gens. If survivors do this though I normally just eat the ds,unless it is their last hook. At least they don't have it anymore.
-
I love playing as Myers, he is in my top 5 killers to play. I think he is almost perfectly balanced right now imo, the only downside I can think of is his movement speed and lunge in tier one but I'm hoping the new starting collapse that is coming will remedy that.
Apart from infinite tier three he has to work for his power, it seems this is what the devs want from all killers. I don't see infinite tier three as working for it since it can be classed as a semi passive throughout the game, stalking whenever possible or going for the hit if you can get it easily.
-
Not too bothered about ds or borrowed since I try not to tunnel or camp unless I have been stomped on all game and try to secure the one kill I may be able to get at end game.
I would go with object of obsession for survivor and pop goes the weasel for killer.
I don't like the fact the players know exactly where I am and know what I'm doing and whether they are safe to continue the gen or not. As survivor there is nothing worse than getting a gen to 95% and then a killer pops it. I am a hypocrite though because I use pgtw myself.
Just to let you know, I put myself in the mindset of a killer/survivor main to make my decision on the two choices. I play both sides almost equally.
-
I am pretty sure Friday the 13th is on Switch, I don't think the other two are.
-
These posts are silly since it is mostly easy, map dependent, to stop noed before it starts. Do totems or find the hex once you know it is in play. If you are on the final gen and there is a unlit totem beside you do not break it. I have done this many times and it lit up when the final gen was completed. Break it if it lights up, noed avoided. I play both survivor and killer, never run noed unless I have gone against many strong teams, swf, in a row or I want to play a blood warden build.
-
I have just had an idea, probably one that divides the community. How about a hex perk that activates like noed that activates and disables survivor perks once end game collapse begins. This would not include perks like adrenaline or hope since they activate immediately on the final gen completed. All other perks, ds, bt, unbreakable, soul guard and the rest deactivate until the hex is broken.
-
I panic too much in a chase, normally leading to stupid mistakes. I am good on gens, I can hold a button, occasionally pressing a secondary button.
Yes though, better objectives are needed or maybe more varied objectives per map.
I heard about a leak of an extra bp objective but are survivors really going to search around for it. It will be a 'if I pass it I will pick it up' type thing. Just to be clear though that leak is not official just yet and may not even make it into the game.
-
Red rank full swf 95% of the time. I can never be sure if they are total swf but if they are so coordinated such as getting team mates up way quicker than normal, unhooking the very second your terror radius starts to descend, chasing survivors into head ons multiple times or always there with a flashlight or toolboxes to break hooks the very second you pick up the survivor. Yes those times I feel bullied. The other 5% are the far too altruistic ones with bt as another tries to block you, those fail most times.
Solo players I don't feel bullied at all, whether I get a 4k or have 4 escapes. Yes you can get some noob types or you can get really good players but even if 4 escape I still don't feel as if I have to sweat as much as swf. There is mostly a weak link in solo though, you just have to seek them out, not to tunnel but to know you have someone to at least get a 1k if things turn ugly.
Matchmaking is more bad for me as survivor than killer, rainbow ranks all over as survivor, mostly red ranks, sometimes a purple thrown in and on occasion Green rank. I don't think I have had lower than green as killer.

I do wish it would last another 10 years but all it takes is for a fresh new game to take its place that a lot of people enjoy. Gamers, including myself, can be fickle. We enjoy playing a game, something better comes along and we spend less time on the older game until it comes to a stop completely.
Either that or the devs will grow tired of doing the same thing over and over again, no matter how much money it is bringing in, and try something new. I wonder, if Deathgarden was more successful than DbD, would this game last another year.
The bigger problems though are the bugs that keep appearing, or take too long to be fixed, and the balancing issues that we have faced since DbD began will wear us down to the point that the players will, one by one, close the game never to play it again.
-
I thought you were going to say Abby is the killer and I was gonna go on a rant about how she was better than ellie.
Abby was the good guy who got her revenge and moved on, she only killed the one who wronged her and for a good, valid reason, she then let the innocents live until she found out what Ellie had done. Ellie on the other hand wanted to kill everyone, they may have been there and showed no respect but they did not commit the deed, and tbh I wanted Ellie dead by the end of the game.
Therefore Ellie should be the killer and Abby the survivor and I am sure I am going to get flamed to eternity for saying that.
-
I would like them to alternate chapters between oc and licensed. I don't want what happened to Telltale games, taking on more licences than the costs allowed, to happen to bhvr. Licenses will have to be renewed at some point, who knows if the rights holders will want more than originally paid. Spreading them out will make the costs easier to manage.
-
Wouldn't it be great if the devs implemented, as well as 99% gate regression, something like a blocker at the exit, a bit like bamboozle, to those that stay within 4 meters of the exit gate for 60 seconds. That would force them to either leave or risk stepping outside the zone.
-
I don't see how it could be a crutch perk since I only like it for the extra bp. If it was just aura reading without the bp I wouldn't use it. The aura can be tricked or completely evaded and is probably one of the perks that can easily be countered. Either hiding in lockers or walk in one direction for 5 seconds then double back, some killers may see through this but others will go to where they predict you will be when they get there.
Since it only reads auras from a certain distance and you would have to leave the hooked survivor to get there, I have no idea what any survivor could complain about bbq.
It's worse if the survivor complaining is running ds and bt though.
-
I have felt like this before, even made a post about it like you have. A month or two break and I was raring to go again.
Just take a break and see how you feel about it when you return.
-
Sorry for hijacking the thread but it is still on topic and saves me cluttering the forums with more new posts.
Does anyone know whether the items dropped time resets once picked back up? For example, I knock a key out of someone's hand and they pick it up a minute later and I knock it back to the floor, will this be reset back to 90 seconds or will time pause and it will still be at 30 seconds running concurrently with the time lost already?
-
only with 3 days to go though so I cut it fine.

I keep banging on about Child's play, no matter how likely or unlikely this may be, and I will stand firm until Chucky is my killer main.

In the current game mechanics he would be difficult to create, so they would definitely have to introduce new mechanics, especially for his FoV. Perhaps he would have a bigger FoV? Idk.
Anyway, I would be Super excited if he came into the game. Perhaps allow both Chucky and Tiffany to be able to be played (kind of how You can swap between legions). Teen Andy or his mom as a survivor.
Others have suggested that perhaps Charles Lee Ray could make an appearance and his power is he possesses the doll. Iād be fine with that, and we can also keep Human Tiffany to have the same ability. š
That was my suggestion about playing as Charles Lee Ray in my original post above lol.

The survivors could have an aura around them that shows only in a chase when obstructed by grass and only for a short distance, kind of like how the traps are seen by the trapper? Or scratch marks are brighter.

Rick, Daryll or Michonne from the walking dead or even Lee or Kenny from the telltale games since they did not survive as long as the TV show characters have. I know my opinion is old but I stand by them.
