I have always thought each killer/survivor should have had a unique strong perk that is only used on that character and could not be shared. This would make survivors more than just skins and maybe make lesser killers a bit more playable in red ranks.
-
I'm currently alternating between doctor and clown. Maybe we will meet up in a game and break your endless cycle.
-
Lone worker - you work best free of distractions. Your repair speed when working on a gen alone is increased by 1/3/5%
Socially awkward - You can concentrate better when away from other people. When more than 32/28/24 metres away from other survivors every action has a 1/3/5% time reduction.
Controlled Anxiety - you have suffered from anxiety for a long time and have now learnt to control your breathing and movements. Sounds of breathing and footsteps are reduced by 25/50/75%
There is always a bad perk which I consider to be the 3rd on my list but may counter spirit with stridor. The first 2 stack for gens.
This one is for fun
Don't you dare - if someone is going to unhook you and the killer is within an 8 metre radius, kick them to the floor for 1/3/5 seconds. Once per trial lol.
-
I think they should have done 2 seperate maps for this chapter, east side and west side, as I feel it's a bit too big.
Being a huge zombie fan boy though I'm looking forward to zombies, wish there were more than 2.
-
Get rid of aura reading and dying healing boost and make them base kit. The grind really needs to be lessened. Speaking of grind, at least make characters three starting skills start at tier 3.
-
I think bhvr sees it as a way to keep players coming back to the game, to progress their characters. The way I see it is, once the novelty of 'wow, there's so much levelling to be done' turning to 'ugh, still so much levelling to do', wears off completely it will turn more players away.
-
I have always wanted a Chucky dlc since it was first discussed. Charles Lee Ray could be the killer, this compensates for the size of the killer due to hooking, and Chucky could be his power. Instead we get the twins, for this reason they will have to make them different enough from each other to be of value. They would have to use the 'dembella' (not sure if that's how you spell it) chant for the mori. Yes it would be tame in comparison but lore friendly especially if they get the sound clip of the chant.
I will be happy with the nemesis as my new main once released, depending on nerfs, as I am a huge zombie fan boy even if there are only 2.
-
Hate to be that guy but it is so easily negated. I agree that sometimes, but not often, a totem will spawn in a hard to find spot but mostly just destroy them when you see them unless it's near the final gen. Then just watch it to see if that one lights up.
There are perks that rely on bones, mostly I would say inner strength, and new perks will get added that rely on them too.
I don't consider it to be overpowered but I also don't use it as killer.
-
Killers are supposed to be tough, they don't need nerfing People aren't scared of most as it is, finishing gens in their faces, taking the hit or the down to complete it.
If you get a highly skilled* killer, they will remain highly skilled and keep getting hooks/sacrifices no matter how much they are nerfed. All it will do is make average or worse killers more frustrated therefore making them stop playing killer and getting more matches with the highly skilled ones therefore creating more 'please nerf' posts.
Edit* When speaking of killers skill levels I am speaking of the players controlling them, not the killers or powers themselves.
-
PS5 and Series X run smooth for me, not saying everyone is being melodramatic as I do realise just because they work fine for me they may not for thousands of others.
The Nintendo Switch though, I can't play that version due to the awful frame drops and stutters. If they optimised it I would be willing to buy all the dlc I don't own for it yet. It's actually worse than the mobile version, which I can't play due to being terrible with touch controls.
-
I really want mmr on but for the opposite reason. I mostly match up with sweat squads, getting 1 kill at most some of the times as gens go pop, pop, pop. I'm not the best killer tbh but I should not have to 'git gud' since I only want to play for fun and not feel as though I'm in an esport competition.
I want to play with people at or around my skill level so I can get the devs desired 2 kill, 2 escape', although it should be 3 kills considering it's a horror game and should follow the final girl/guy rule.
MMR, as well as the crafting mechanic, bp grind reduction, brown experience boosters in the bloodweb getting reworked and quite a few other things that were spoken of a year ago were not even spoken of in the anniversary livestream.
I want to try new killers, get used to them with different perk sets and add ons, but I can't with sweat squads as I don't have much time to learn from my mistakes or end up having to forget about the power and just be an M1 killer until a chill group is handed to me. My poor nurse has been stuck unprestiged at level 40 and only been used roughly 4 or 5 times.
Please BHVR, get MMR fully functional and in working order by the end of the year.

Sony won't do it because they expect to lose money and allegedly fine the developers what they estimate they will lose when the player leaves or purchases on another platform.
They could agree to cross saves, everything carried over, with the exception of dlcs as I think this is whats holding them back. All unowned dlcs on a platform will be greyed out but still retain the items, levels etc of the other platform until bought.
-
Ps5 and Series X here, also Switch but not touching that again until it becomes more optimised and more playable or until the super nintendo switch comes out (please call it that Nintendo)
Crossplay on all but Switch. It works mostly smoothly on the newer consoles.
-
Noobish and can't loop for crap as survivor, good on gens though lol. Prefer dance with me, quick and quiet and lithe as perks. Kindred right now too but want to try Jill's mines.
As killer less than adequate, will try to play fairly until 2 gens remain. If all survivors are still alive then I will tunnel if I don't see any but the just unhooked survivor.
Green rank killer at best I would say, High Green, low purple survivor at best if I'm with survivors who can loop and leave me on gens or unhooks :p

That cant be true because I went next day and it still worked. It was 18 hours after the stream.
It's 100% factual. I was going to put them in not long before going to bed thinking they would expire at some point. This was around midnight bst just hours after the stream, said they had expired.
-
My first or second game ever on PC, I was still trying to get the correct settings for it to run as smooth as possible. I had someone calling me out in chat for, to put it politely, playing badly... it was much worse than that though lol. They then went to my Steam profile and said I was the worst team mate ever. As I said it was only my first or second game ever, did they expect me to be godlike lol.
Disclaimer - three years later, I still don't deserve to get to red ranks and definitely far from godlike :p
-
This is not exactly a dream but in my early days of playing I ran into a lot of huntresses. My brain kept making me hear her humming when the game was off so more like a minor daydream.
-
Mine didn't last 24hrs, I tried a few hours after the stream and they both said expired.
-
Mine kept saying they have expired when trying to put them in ps5, this was only a few hours after the stream ended as I forgot about it until it had finished so just watched paulieesthers vod. Both did not work for me, disappointed.
-
I have always wanted to see a survivor version of hex perks. I am expecting a lot of killers complaining about survivors having overpowered perks, just like survivors do with noed, and everyone saying 'just break the totems' lol
-
Upvoted you because I want the devs to know this is a bad idea but you should add a little constructive criticism as to why you think that to make them take note if they read it
-
Yay
I'm signing this because salty players, killer and survivor, will abuse it. I'm expecting a lot of posts about unjust bans if this goes through.
-
Nintendo Switch optimization hopefully. I was going to buy the dlc characters I'm missing there but decided to try a few games first to see if it played better. It's horrible, stuttering all the time and too dark, my series x and ps5 play fine so it's not my Internet. The Switch needs a lot of love put into it.
Still keeping my fingers crossed for console crossplay, they should change it to cross save but you have to buy dlc on each platform as I think that's what's making the companies say no to the idea. It all comes down to money.
-
I kind of zoned out of the stream when they announced this. They mentioned toxic players in one sentence then mentioned the autoban in the next. This is going to considerably increase toxic reports, how are non streamers able to support their claim of fair play without toxicity, the ps5 does not have enough ssd to save all play sessions throughout the week.
This will backfire terribly and seriously hope they rethink this.
-
I am just taking this challenge now so my opinion may change but as of now I think it is a good addition to the glyphs and hope it stays.
Some risk/reward mechanic in the main game would be nice though such as cleanse this minor glyph for extra bp for yourself and minor infliction, cleanse major glyphs for a team reward but major infliction for a short duration.
-
Mine was on PC, got a message on my profile saying I was the worst team mate ever, first ever game lol. I didn't know what I was doing or what skill checks were or how they worked, didn't know how to run the killer or anything. Of course I was the worst team mate at that point.
-
I did this once by accident/stupidity, solo player btw not swf, because I forgot I was running iron will and the attempt to rescue clouded my judgement. I didn't realise my error until I got downed, I felt so foolish lol.
-
I am looking forward to it, not entirely sure if it isn't being unofficially tested on xbox or not. My games there seem more fair the longer I play, played a bunch of games as doctor starting with new players but the games and matchmaking got better with every win until I was playing people who knew how to do gens. Switched killer to Myers, back to newer players again. Also on the pip screen it shows an extremely low rank, rank 20/19/18, until the tally ends then switches back to rank 8. The killers I play against as survivor seem more along my skill level too.
On the other side my PS5 games are a sweatfest, my rank 8 killer vs 3 or 4 red ranks or my rank 10 survivor vs red rank killer.
I am really hoping mmr is a success this time but do wish they allowed us to see our own mmr, keeping it hidden from others.
-
Add bloodpoints to empty spaces in the free tier of the rift pass would help too. Not a stupidly low amount like 1k but not too high like 250k per free space either
-
My first game on Xbox as killer yesterday was me, rank 10 killer, vs 3 rank 20 and 1 rank 19 survivors. I don't mean high rankers deranking to troll the killers, they literally barely had any perks over tier 1 and a couple only had 2 perks and default clothing.
Hardly fair on new players, frustrating for them and boring for me. It's weird though because this is only happening on Xbox for me, Ps5 is giving me normal matches.
-
None of these options apply to me.
My main 3 survivors are Kate for female and Steve and Ash for male. I just really like those characters for some reason.
-
Wriggling was only introduced so the killer couldn't take you from one side of the map to the basement on the other side. As some maps have become a lot smaller though maybe the speed should be looked at.
Just to let you know I play mostly killer, some survivor so this my opinion is not based on a survivor main mindset.
-
On the new game map on the series x I got some stutters and random slowdown now and again yesterday but only on that map, no others.
-
Just do what I'm doing and wait for mmr to be put into place. I tried nurse and sucked too, getting thrown in the deep end in red ranks leads to more frustration and lessens the amount I can learn. Once mmr is in you should get fairer matches with her hopefully
-
Same here.

The selection/completion/collection aspect does have some merit for the gratification it gives on average.
It doesn't to me. It just adds more grind onto a grind heavy game.
-
I would use the information to spread out hooks if I am having an average or above game or tunnel someone out if the gens are popping all over far too quickly such as only 3 or 4 hooks, spread out, and 4 gens done. That's my honest opinion but think killers should have the information.
-
Not as many as I had since I had to start the trophies all over again on ps5 :(
At least it raises my trophy score :)
-
I would like it so you don't have to choose a challenge and they just complete through playing, we just need to collect the completed challenges. They could just up some of the numbers with the sacrifice x amount of survivors and do x amount of gens or unhooks and the rest. I hate most of the 'complete in a single trial' ones.
They should also add bp or something on the blank spaces on the free track too.

Well, it's not that great because the servers are terrible.
I agree with this. Evertime I try to use dead hard it feels as though it is a 50/50 chance as to whether it works or I end up exhausted on the floor.
I dislike it as killer and survivor, I may like it as survivor if they somehow got it to work properly. As killer, apart from getting it to work properly, I don't really see the need for much change with it though.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
I'm glad you mentioned the last bit. Aslong as it isn't instant so survivors have no collision with each other permanently, I'd like this change.
Thanks, being instant would be unfair to the killer so I would not want that. I only want to stop the trolls.
@Mastermind said:
That counts as working with the killer, which is reportable. Report in game and send video evidence of it over in a ticket.
Unfortunately I did not record it. I may have to make a seperate YouTube channel purely for the videos then hit record last 15 minutes on the PS5 so I can send them to Behaviour.

Look at this topic
I had a similiar problem seems the same? I grabbed someone and he was stuck on me, even with grabbing another who was also bugged I managed to drop him but until he DC'd there was nothing to do... I couldnt drop or hook but I could move and do everything else like normal, time ran out she still didnt die, she bled out 5min later even tho her timer was still stuck at half
How long was the game btw? mine was kinda long (cause they kept hiding until I found one and peacefuly shook my head and slowly moved away from gen like they're a wild animal xD)
The actual game was about 15 minutes, 30 if you include me trapped with only the survivor on my shoulder left. They disconnected and it allowed the match to end. It has not happened in any other game since then.

could be a bug but I don't see why hacker would do that but you'd be surprised what they do
She just disconnected after 15 minutes of trying to hook her. Does that mean anything?
-
I have noticed this, not for dailies but changing killer randomly. It's not game breaking by any means, just slightly irritating.
When logging in over the last few days I had nurse, who I never play, huntress and hillbilly. Maybe they just want to be noticed since I hardly ever use them lol.
-
I will only slug if I know exactly where the last survivor is. Take a game I had yesterday for example.
There were two survivors left, I downed one and immediately the final gen popped very close to me. I then slugged for the fourth.
If I down a survivor and have no idea where the final one is I will hook then play the hatch/escape game.
Therefore I am in the middle of not minding and do mind slugging.

Yeah, I specified in my post that it should only work with pallets and windows.
I know you did, I was agreeing with you :p
-
I would like that but only from pallets and windows, not gens, totems or unhooking. He can already pull people out of lockers whilst cloaked so why not other counter measures? Everything else should stay the same such as not being able to attack whilst cloaked.
-
I think they should only allow the key holder to escape, hatch closes after they have escaped, doesn't set off egc and never opens again, even when it's the last survivor, unless they have a key of course.
The escape should come at the cost of the team, it should be either a selfish action or a last ditch survival attempt on the key holders part.
I would not tunnel the key holder or use Franklin's if I knew only one would escape with the key.
-
I'm a killer main and don't use mori's for both these reasons :-
Although not as unfair as they used to be, I still feel as though they promote tunneling and only use them for the 'by your hand, kill' dailies.
I prefer bp bonus items to try and cut the grind just a little bit.
Instant yellow mori's are like half a rancor perk, if killers got this then the last survivor would also have to get a last survivor base kit add on too.
