Possible solution to help the grind of dbd

Increased limit of bp per a match to 50k bp

Increased the overall bp limit to 1.25m bp

Adjusted the amount of bp earned in match for actions to match the increased match limit

Simple and I think effective

Thoughts

Edit made the common bp offerings cost 1k each

Edit 2 rip trying to think out of the box but just puts remove perk teirs. so thanks to those who did put something useful

Comments

  • Remove perk tiers.

  • Remove perk tiers and increase BP earnings

  • If they were gonna remove perk teirs they would of done it .by taking the best version and just stop giving teirs with the new killer

  • Remove Perk Tiers. That's all we really need.

  • This might actually be addressed soon, a few questions on this recent survey were about the grind, 0an0d they weren't there last time so maybe the devs are finally thinking about it.

  • Bloodpoint Costs:

    P0

    • Common: 3000 BP
    • Uncommon: 4000 BP
    • Rare: 5000 BP
    • Very Rare: 6000 BP
    • Ultra Rare: 7000 BP

    • Uncommon: 1000 BP
    • Rare: 2000 BP
    • Very Rare: 3000 BP
    • Ultra Rare: 4000 BP

Sliding scale of costs to offerings. People would then be encouraged to actually prestige everyone, but the cost to do so would be drastically reduced.

Right now to P3 every character (including the Trickster and the new survivor) it'd cost ROUGHLY 567,000,000 Blood Points to max everything out. Assuming you earn a perfect 32,000 BP each game with full stacks of WGLF or BBQ + Chili, and someone offers Bloody Party Streamers every game, it'd take you 5907 games or so to max everything out. And that's Best Case Scenario.

Under this new system, it'd instead cost ROUGHLY 312,000,000 BP, a reduction of a little over half. I think it'd be fair, and players would be rewarded for prestiging characters.

  • Add bloodpoints to empty spaces in the free tier of the rift pass would help too. Not a stupidly low amount like 1k but not too high like 250k per free space either

I like this idea but still this helps the late grind what about the early grind

Dude im having rrouble with just getting the perks unlocked and everyone to 50. The only character i prestiged is demo because i ran out of add-ons, i have no intentions of even thinking about prestiging anyone at any point soon.

Now hold there. People who already have mostly everyone P3 or just the people they want are the only ones who are gonna benefit from this for a while. What about the item economy?

I think a combination of these ideas would be a wonderful fix, maybe also add BP bonuses to underutilized perks as well?

I like this idea but still this helps the late grind what about the early grind

To help the early grind, I'd say add a new bloodpoint category: Participation. 8000 BP no matter what happens in the trial. This increases the amount of BP earned to 40,000 per match.

  • Perk tiers are removed and increase both the amount of bps that you get in a match and the blood point cap to 5 million.

  • I have a much simpler solution.

REMOTE PERK LEVELS FROM GAME. ALL PERKS ARE EARNED AT THEIR CURRENT LEVEL 3 POWER

Bam... 2/3's of the grind has just been taken care of.

    You're welcome.
