New Game Mode
After 4 years of playing the same usual match types, we need a way to spice things up for us veterans. I’ve thrown some ideas out before with no feedback at all, but I’m persistent! The below suggested game type can make a game experience more enjoyable for solo survivors, and more tactical for SWF survivors.
Introducing new game mode: No Honor Amongst Thieves
With the current issues with the game that are hopefully keeping Devs busy, I wanted to suggest a game type that wouldn’t consume a heavy bit of programming...here are the specifics. This would still be a 4v1 basic game with the following changes.
A. GAME SETUP CHANGES
-Match lobby timer increased to 2 minutes
SURVIVOR SIDE:
-No two players can play as the same character
-No two players can equip the same perk
-Items, add-ons and offerings function normally. Hatch keys are forbidden.
-Loadouts are based on the ‘Ready’ status. The first player to ready-up will confirm their loadout. A second player with a duplicate perk will be unable to ‘Ready’ up until his/her loadout is altered. The duplicate illegal perk would be highlighted red in their loadout.
-If all 4 perks are not successfully chosen before the lobby timer expires, that player enters the game with 4 random perks that are not in the other players’ loadouts.
KILLER SIDE
-perks, add-ons and offerings function normally. Moris are forbidden. N.O.E.D. is forbidden.
B. GAMEPLAY CHANGES
SURVIVOR SIDE
-Item chests no longer furnish items
-Chest spawns in the map are increased to 8 (base game, excludes offerings)
-Each survivor has 2 chests that are unique to ONLY them, other survivors cannot search these chests
-Successfully searching a chest grants the player a Thief Token
-Players that have Thief Tokens: Upon unhooking or healing 1 full health slate of another survivor, both survivors enter Thief Mode for 10 seconds and may not take damage from the killer for an additional 10 seconds of exiting Thief Mode.
-While in Thief Mode, a player with a Thief Token can swap 1 of their own perks for 1 of the survivor they were altruistic with. I.E., If Meg unhooks Dwight and also has a Thief Token, she can steal whichever of Dwight’s perks she wants, and replaces Dwight’s perk with one of their own. Dwight being the distressed survivor has no option in this. Maximum of two tokens per game.
-If a selection is not made before the 10 seconds expire, both players keep their existing loadouts. The initiating player still loses 1 Thief Token. Also, if no selection is made, players are NOT granted the 10 second endurance effect when exiting Thief Mode.
This game mode offers another small secondary objective to survivors that will hopefully decrease generator rushing. It also adds piece of mind to killers, knowing there’s no duplicates of 2nd chance survivor perks in the game. I added the restrictions to FORCE perk swaps when performing an altruistic action, so survivors do not abuse the killer with their 10 second endurance effect. With loadouts constantly changing, strategy may change also.
A bit chaotic I know, what do you all think? Open to suggested changes, or other new game mode suggestions.

you think this wouldn't take a lot of work or mess anything up but i guarantee it will. I mean look at matchmaking currently, it's a dumpster fire. There's a ton of bugs already i'd imagine them implementing it would cause some killer to not work for whatever reason, i mean it's still a gamble for oni's power to be usable in games.
What about a game mode where it's last survivor standing and the winner gets double, possibly triple depending on how their mischief goes, bp stacked on top of offerings that increase also. An extra set amount of bp is awarded for being in the exit gate area once the third survivor dies. The killer can only get a 3k but gets an extra 10% bp per hook maxing at 100% on top of their offerings. It could also use your thief mode suggestion and the you could swap the perks to confuse the chased survivor. The survivors must unhook otherwise bonus bp is reduced.
The survivors still have to do the normal to open the doors but only one can leave, it's the survivors job to sandbag and draw the killer to the others as much as possible whilst staying alive themselves. Once three survivors are killed the match ends.
How much do you trust your fellow survivors to do all the generators before they try to get you killed?
