Just deduct BP. Make the balance go negative if they already have 0. Some people won't care but eventually most people would.
Timeouts are mostly pointless, bans/suspensions are obviously ridiculous.
Think it matters how long the time-out is. If they increase with the amount of DCs they will certainly make an impact.
-
Legion does not a buff or maybe a total rework, they are useless now. Devs did the same thing with Freddy. He came out absurdly strong, they nerfed him into oblivion and left him there for 2 years. I suspect they will do the same with Legion.
One of the big things that annoy me about Legion is their power has nothing to do with their lore. Somehow they should really make it feel like you are going against multiple killers.

Lightweight? Iron will? Spine chill?
Yes.

Obviously saying "all" is an overstatement, but I do notice a higher portion of them camp and tunnel than other killers.

I don't care whether or not Survivors like it, they don't have a choice.
Also, that's a little rude.
You say you don't care if the others in your game are enjoying themselves and you call me rude? That's rich.
-
He needs to down a survivor and hook them normally first.
-
This happened to me yesterday. Got stuck on a bush. Only able to get out when the killer downed and picked me up.
-
Rank up stupid fast as killer and painfully slow as survivor. Which is pretty much the opposite of what you want. To double pip as survivor you have to be chased for a good amount, do multiple gens worth of work, make a couple of hook saves, and heal some people, all in one game.
-
-
I'm sure survivor players love dealing with your anger management issues.
Also, just see a therapist.

What would be the conditions for the practice mode? Pre-chat or even in-game chat between killer and survivors perhaps? No killing/unlimited hookphases/gens get deactivated after activation? Plus no BP-gain obviously..
i think this would be cool and I could see myself testing killers I wouldn’t touch otherwise
Literally just being able to roam an empty map as killer or survivor as long as you please. Should be simple to implement.

You could play quickplay but don't do hooks after you down them? If you let them heal and play fair, survivors are pretty forgiving if you let them escape
They would figure out are just slugging them. There is no "hey bro just wanna practice emote."
-
That is absolutely obscene. I get some leeway will be needed some matches happen but come the hell on. It appears because the level 11 was a decent fit all their buddies were too? Be real nice to get a dev response on this, not holding my breath though.
-
It would be super obvious going against SWF because of rank disparities and there would be a lot of dodging. Don't see it happening.

Pennywise would be too odd an addition, regardless of Cote saying “Nothing is off the table”
I honestly speculate that BHVR’s recent follow of King’s social media accounts (if a chapter were to be done on one of his IP’s) would either be tied in with The Shining (because of the soon to be released Doctor Sleep), or the remake of Salem’s Lot in the not too distant future.
Michael Scott from the Office would be "odd." Pennywise would be anything but.
-
People who just got it for Stranger Things are going to be rank 19 or 20. Ranking up as survivor is quite slow, especially if you are new.

This is a joke, right? I run circles around nurses, to the point where I might as well be yelling scout quotes provided they have vc.
Probably because you are at lower ranks. Low rank Nurses are downright comedic. High rank Nurses are a nightmare.
-
Whoa there, you are supposed to be posting poorly made tier lists, not surprisingly accurate ones.
I would swap Clown and Legion with Trapper and Bubba. Ghost face deserves to be with his parents, Pig and Myers. Very nice tier list overall.

Victorian England streets with some back alleyways
That would be very cool. Maybe a Jack the Ripper themed killer to go with it.

Pennywise, but the overlook hotel as a map!
Agree with this. I like Pennywise more as a killer but the Overlook would be an excellent map.
Pennywise would be the clear choice, they want to bring people into the game. While some of King's less recognizable antagonists would be cool, they are a lot less likely to do that.

Sometimes Survivors just get mad and kill themselves. Had it happen a couple times today. Not my fault he suicided on the first hook
Sure, rarely see more than one suicide, unless the killer is closely camping. One game all 3 fellow survivors killed themselves quickly when they saw they were being camped, I was the last one. Probably the worst survivor game I have played, still sticks in my head. Went exactly like OP said they should go, 4K with 4 hooks.
-
Laurie, Jeff, Quentin. Mostly see Claudettes, Neas, and Megs.
-
By far, I have the most fun when as killer and survivor when the killer is getting 3 hooks a survivor (give or take). That is how the game is meant to be played and I am glad that is encouraged. 4K with 4 hooks total means the killer camped everyone out.

To be fair, with Freddy, that was a total re-working from the ground up. It's possible that a Doctor re-work could end up being more along the lines of Legion, which only ended up taking a few months.
I recently saw a post saying they were not actively working on the Doctor. Regardless, I highly doubt each killer was in development for 2 years from design to implementation. Simply changing Freddy's mechanics took 2 years.

The sass is not helpful. Most of have spent a significant amount of the money in this game and expecting hitboxes function at the most rudimentary level is not too much to ask.

I guess hes going to remain pretty bad then
Just like most of the killers. Only a few are viable at high ranks and the devs are okay with this.
-
Devs said he is being looked at but not actively worked on. Keep in mind it took them 2 years to revamp Freddy. So look for a Doc improvements at the end of 2020.

Its pretty accurate though. His entire concept of what made him unique is fairly dead now, and it was mostly due to the community pressuring them to do it.
Now people want it reversed? Too bad lmao, that's not how it works. If the community yells loud enough for something to get nerfed, it will not just get nerfed, but buried. This may be different for some cases, for DS it took them 2 years, for Legion it took them a few months after his inception. I guess a Killer has more priority over a broken perk... (I'm talking Pre-Patch DS.)
You don't make a mistake, botch the fix, and call it a day.
-
Made a thread about this and it is a common experience. Playing killer gets you a group of coordinated survivor friends. Playing survivor gets you a team of potatoes. Doesn't matter how good you are if your teammates are putting up 10 second chases, suiciding on the hook, DCing, and not doing gens when you are clearly occupying the killer.
Recently ran the killer around for 3-4 minutes or so. Zero gens done during that time. When I was downed and could see them, they were crouched on the edges of the map.
-
Given how broken they were on the PTB and as someone who likes playing Plague, I sure hope dedicated services get some more tweaks before they go live.
-
@Almo said:
Do gens if they camp. :O
Good luck when you are playing with randos and the hooked survivor suicides on the hook.
-
Most people hate going against Legion. Such a poorly designed killer. He will probably need a complete rework like Freddy. Funny he came between two well-designed and interesting killers, Plague and Spirit. Sure, Plague needs some tweaks, but she is interesting, fun to play against and fun to play as (unless you are at high ranks).
-
According to the lore all the survivors have been killed numerous times. Guess people can get used to anything.
-
Being tunneled sucks and ruins the whole game for the survivor being tunneled. It is up to the devs to fix it, hoping selfish people like Eternal0088 are going to change is a waste of time. The devs know it is a problem. How do we know? If you include the Stranger Things DLC, there are 3 perks meant to directly address tunneling. Borrowed Time, Breakdown, and Babysitter. None do it particularly well. The method of fixing fundamental issues with the game with new perks is flawed at best.

@TAG said:
You should have gone with Spud Team Six instead of Potato Squad, but that's just me. :P
Brilliant! Changed it with much deserved credit added.
-
I've noticed this. I switched to PC and had start over. Unsurprisingly I started with Claudette. Before that, on PS4, I mained Jeff. Night and day treatment from killers. Jeff got plenty of hatches. Claudette? Ice cold treatment. Not that I get tunneled or camped much, but there is no kindness shown.

@ProfessorDunwich Most can spare 2-4 hours a day if they care that much. Skins need to take time or they're worthless and not worth $10
2-4 hrs a day for how long? Also keep in mind that is a significant time commitment, especially for people who have jobs/family etc.
-
Sloppy is probably more used simply because it is a general perk that is in all killers Blood Webs. It also pops up very frequently in my experience.
If you are just taking into account high rank killers that have all the perks unlocked (or bad killers who just play a lot) that changes things.

I play maybe two or three games a day, that's it. Unless friends ask me to play with them. That seldom happens, then it might be a few matches more but it doesn't exceed more than a couple hours of total play time a day at most.
I play both sides everyday day at least to get that sweet bonus XP for first game of the day on both sides. So even though I play only a few matches a day, the bonus XP every day is like playing an extra game or two, which saves time.
For the record, every non licensed DLC for Killer (not counting Doctor, I got that for free as a gift) I also bought with shards.
It's not like you need to grind 16 hours a day to get cosmetics or characters in this game. Just take your time, make sure to play both sides once a day. You will get burnt out a lot less and still get things for free at a steady place.
Going to have to be more specific about how long you have been playing. Big difference between playing 2-3 games a day for a few months and playing that much for 2 years.
I believe there are 5 non-licensed killers that were paid add-ons, excluding the Doc (for you), Huntress, and Nurse (which were free add-ons), which leaves Hag, Clown, Spirit, Legion, and Plague. So that would put you at 45,000 shards, that would get you 2 of premium cosmetics for the complete outfit (over 20k shards).

@ProfessorDunwich So you admit its possible to get skins if you put the time in...
I said they are inaccessible to all but the most hardcore players. Someone who plays this game as their job would qualify as hardcore. Reading comprehension is a good skill to have.

And I bought a cosmetic (several) for $0, thanks to shards.
I don't see the problem.
Bet you have a lot of free time then, to the point you completely lose track of it. Sounds nice. It takes a huge time investment to even get basic cosmetics with shards. The purple ones are far out of reach for all but the most hardcore players using shards.

Quitting something that is supposed to be fun because you are not having fun is childish? Interesting logic there.

Gets a lot better at higher ranks, but get out of those low ranks can be tough, especially when you haven't played for multiple rank resets. Between bad survs that aren't doing gens when the killer is clearly occupied and camping/tunneling killers. People often suicide when it is clear the killer is camping/tunneling. Even if you are decent and don't get hooked, before you know it, it is just you and the killer.

Pretty quickly, unless there is a Meg.

Nothing wrong with being concerned about both.
I prefer it stiff than jumping across the map, but I'm sure there is a happy medium.

There is nothing more frustrating as killer than to see a hook collapse right before you hook the survivor and losing them. Your idea would make playing against toxic SWF a total nightmare.
-
Yeah it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It would make more sense if there were 2 surv dailies to 1 killer daily.
