I don’t think more than one Survivor can have the buff at the same time. So more than 1 Prove Thyself in a lobby is moot.
I think it means on a generator even if its your way its still very strong for gen rush
Genrush is where you're all on DIFFERENT gens, not on the same one buddy. (Sorry if I wrote that in a hostile way I mean it in a friendly one) It won't help genrushing, it will probably nerf it tbh. I'm going to start using Prove Thyself, Bond, Iron will and Sprint Burst.

Self Care is indeed an interesting change. Its choosing between healing yourself vs getting healed.I think it now makes the healing 20 seconds. Please correct me if my math is wrong. That's faster than what it used to be and 4 seconds slower then a medkit. I might start using it again actually.

And people are going to complain even more about being gen rushed.you need someone to help you on the gen to make prove yourself worth it and killers will have to get discordance now
. Leader might be a tad too strong, but would be good if you get tunneled alot (faster unhooks and heals).Leader will be decent, not OP. Bond+Prove thyself is going to be seriously meta for solo survivors.

So when Leader says "all actions" does that include vaulting?Wow it would be nuts.
Does it affect yourself as well? I wonder.
No but 4 leaders will now increase your vaulting speed by 100%. Holy #########. I love the Prove thyself buffs too, I think solo survivor is getting some love finally. It's still not as strong as Billy or Hag (the ideal killers it should match up to) but it's getting there

Now survivors can gen rush even harder. Fantabulous. The entitled killer main, on cue. Lol you definitely don't understand what genrush is do you? Doubt you've even been genrushed before since you seem so lost as to what it is.
-
Oh my god I think they buffed Self care.
Self-Care: All healing action speeds are reduced by 45%/35%/25%. This action speed penalty replaces the previous Self-care penalty (-50% speed) and applies a flat penalty to ALL healing actions.
I am actually happy. If this goes through, it might become less punishing to use. Or am I wrong in thinking they buffed it?

Wheres the patch note?

and why would i use noed its a waste of a perk slot. i never ever come in the late game anyways. i have more troubles finding the last standing survivor hiding while another one is bleeding out so the last one cant get the hatch so tell me a good reason why i should leave whispers, shadowborn, nurse calling or bbq at home while using a perk which never activates?
It hurts other killers. Nurse shrugs it off.

On Billy this shouldn't be much of a problem, as a fast saw hit will trump it.
On Spirit I'd say depending on the Map if you are really worried about it try Rancor, Haunted Ground, or even Good Old Devour Hope.
NOED never hurt either for a little extra insurance.
Remember when playing Killer there is no Made up Code of Honor, Ethics, or Morality.
You kill, or you fail. How you do it is entirely up to you.
Yup. Which is why I've decided to go rouge and forget my survivor rulebook while I'm killer. I'm definitely going to run @AntiJelly 's build, slugging is super fun as Nurse. I wonder how it is with Spirit who is so good at chasing.
I've Decimated Groups with NOED and Prayer Beads on spirit. Try it.
Yoke Amulet, Prayer Beads
Perks:
BBQ, Devour Hope, Toth, and Ruin.
You should be able to defend your totems rather handily, and the prayer beads will stop them from getting a heads up when you phase in.
Wait will thrill of the hunt actually work with her? I don't use any addons with her but I wonder if it works for protecting my totems though, I'm going to try that out.> @AntiJelly said:

Make your choice
BBQ and Chili
Nurses calling
and my last perk depends on what I feel like running. Normally it's Spirit Fury or Enduring
As for the Insta heals, exposed status perks or Franklins demise work very good against them
I haven't played much Spirit in a while but I do love to play her. Hope this helped out a little bit!!!

I hate it when people equate excessive altruism with Survive with Friends. SWF doesn't have to be (and often aren't) altruistic. In fact, if they even have a bit of intellect and self-control, they would be able to assess the situation better than any solo, and make good determination of if/when to make a save, as well as how many people is getting off the generators to do that. After all, they have much more information than the game itself provides for them.As a killer, counting on your opponent to be stupid and unable to control themselves doesn't make for a fun game even if you kill them all.
Funny, but survivors always claim that noone actually plays like the depip squad (intellect+self control).
Fact is that if they genrush like crazy (intellect blabla), then its boring af as killer and it they are over-altruistic, then its a boring game imo too (even if ez 4k)See I'd completely disagree with you, but now that I've actually experienced some ridiculously tryhard genrushers as killer I would like to note that I completely agree with you.

It's easy to say that nobody should lobby dodge because of (suspected) SWF, but new killers soon realise the correlation between 4 survivors dropping into the lobby at the same time and the likelyhood of a near-impossible game.SWFs using comms to relay information is cheating. If a killer was hacking or lag switching, nobody would be telling the survivors to Git Gud.
Your comment is amazing. You think using comms is cheating. LOL. Well, according to your logic, which completely ignores the fact that using comms is not against the rules, then surely nodding your head is cheating? Is pointing cheating?

Alright, listen. Hex: Ruin? You can trash it for this: Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher, Knockout, and a perk of your choice. You can use knockout to essentially take someone out of the game by leaving them on the floor then finding someone else, and then sloppy butcher makes the healing take longer. You can then use Nurse's to spot people if they do find the downed person, then take advantage of that information. I usually run BBQ as my 4th perk for the bloodpoints and pressure potential.I might run Deerstalker for my last 1 if I want a slugging build. I'm going to level her up and get knock out to tier 3, that sounds like a ridiculously strong build lol. As Spirit, should I guard close gens or should I patrol the whole map?
Eh, that's a general killer question. It depends on the setup. Say if you have 2 gens left, 3 of them are close and 1 is far away. You might as well let that 4th one go and protect the closer 3. You just gotta pay attention and use game sense to decide what to do.
Thanks.

It sounds like they wanted to win as fast and as hard as possible. You matched them. It's fine. Wait. So did I actually match up to their skill, because at the start of the game, that Kate and Claudette bodied me while the 2 Megs flew through the gens. The Kate and Claudette eventually got predictable and taken down by me in seconds like the two Megs but I am kind of happy I caught up to that massive gap in skill. I also am really happy that I managed to keep up with the gens because that was wayy out of hand lol. Also I stick to the survivors book because A) I play an equal amount of survivor to killer so I like to make my survivors enjoy a game (this one was my only exception) and
If they face me again, they might abuse me if I'm using a weaker killer. Pressure begets pressure. If you can apply it, do it, especially if they apply it first. They're not in it for you to have fun if they're gen rushing.
I love trying to stick to the survivors book some, but that is a luxury, and only they can offer it. If they give me the time to be nice, i will be nicer. They will probably never care in the long run if anyone plays by their rules.
You won't get anything out of it in a trial. They don't know who you are until the end, after all. I seriously doubt anyone will see your name at the end and remember it enough to drop it anywhere. You're giving them too much credit. Again, they don't know who you are until the end of the trial. If you're remembered fondly enough, they will probably go hard on you anyhow, then maybe feel bad after. I still like being a nice killer though. Me, too. I really do.
I just wanna have fun like anyone else.
Yeah. As survivor I'm inbetween though because if a killer does one thing that annoys me I will be flat out toxic and hardcore but normally I just mess around with the killer. It's so funny when you point at them and they look around as if to say "Who? Me?"
As a survivor I'm in my element staying away from the action and doing gens since most others potato, and panic when someone gets hurt. Someone has to focus. I'm pretty lousy at rescues, and my evasion could use work.
I don't feel like I'm at a good skill level in evasion and running to get toxic. I mostly just try to buy time for everyone else.
I do remember one time I felt awful mean at Yamaoka estate though.
A leatherface was camping hard. I tried to get close, but realized I couldn't .
Instead I found a gen and he pretty much watched me do it, and I watched him.
He eventually moved, and someone snick in and made the rescue as I bolted.Poor Leatherface. Last time I've made a killer feel like that, was a Huntress with NOED who tunnelled me off the hook. He had one guy in the basement but really wanted me. I was happy to outrun his NOED and escape. I even teabagged him. Now I realise I was way too childish. Poor guy was super triggered. I still justify it to myself because he camped a teammate when there was 3 gens left.

When playing survivor, in the type of game that you described - I would fully expect the killer to slug, to put on pressure and not waste time with hooking. For that match I seriously wanted to win because it would decide if I'd get the rank 1 achievement for Nurse.

Absolutely nothing you did was even close to scummy. If they managed to get spotted (especially against a Nurse) while you were busy with someone else then that's entirely their fault. It's really depressing reading you constantly beating yourself up for just playing the game the way you should. I try to pull back if I'm doing too well, but it's not because I think I'm being scummy. It's because it's not fun for me or them if I just end the match it 2 minutes. Thanks for that. I guess I overreacted to how I played lol. It is a new experience for me, to slug so hard. In the game I presented above, I didn't notice I was slugging.

I was pushing for Rank 1 and this was the last Nurse game I could be bothered to play. It was probably single handedly the most intense Nurse game I've ever managed to win.It started off with me starting and not being able to catch a Claudette (injured her though) and I switched onto a Kate who ran me for 2 gens (great start I've already got genrushed hard!) and I was finally able to down that Kate. She clicked her flashlight at me so I decided to teach her a lesson.
I hooked the Kate, saw a Meg doing a gen and downed her when the gen was 99%. I then went back to the hook because I saw the injured Claudette from earlier. I lost her but a twin of the Meg completed the other gen and my Bitter murmur shown me her exact location. I downed Meg and I was in a stupidly good spot. I had 3 people completely crushed in the space of 20 seconds. Shows the power of Nurse (no addons btw). I saw the Claudette who farmed the Kate and I downed Kate. I coulda ended it there but I felt disgusting and let the Claudette revive the Meg who completed a gen.
I hooked Kate and I hooked the Meg. The other 2 healed up and I went away from the hooks to pressure my gens since I had bought so much time slugging them it was no harm done. Not a single one of those 4 gens left were even tapped. It was pretty great how I bounced back but in such a scummy way. The Claudette unhooked the Kate and I downed Claudette and saw Kate chilling behind a tree trying to flashlight save. I hooked Kate and she was eliminated. I ate Claudettes D strike and hooked her. The Meg (we'll call her Meg #1) who almost completed a gen, was found by me and hooked quickly. I found the other Meg (Meg #2) and hooked her. Meg #1 who was unhooked just after I hooked the Meg #2. Meg #1 was unhooked and I only saw her so I eliminated her. I found Meg #2 and Claudette doing a gen and hooked Meg #2 and she was unhooked by Claudette. I hooked Claudette and found Meg #2 healing in a corner and I eliminated her. I just stood on the hill and let Claudette get hatch (I knew where it was but I did a lot of scummy things that game)
Claudette was pretty cool about the mass slugging where the whole game shifted to my favour.
Am I a tryhard Nurse for slugging to such an extreme level? And does this go against the survivors rulebook of a killer who isn't toxic. I felt like a tryhard for that slugging to get the whole game in my control.
Am I a toxic killer or was that an acceptable way to play it? I run Deerstalker btw so I could track the slugs well.
Yes you are a tryhard (for playing nurse in general lul), its not toxic though

Yeah this is the last time I'm playing her unless I want to push back up at some point. I just wanted the achievements for rank 1. Now I'm devoting my time to levelling/mastering my Spirit and mastering my Billy. I'm also going back to being a neutral player

Get rid of Ruin you'll be much better in the long run without relying on it.If you see a more stealthy group camo outfits aka P3 Claudette's Megs Neas etc take Whispers and be aware it triggers on hooked people. You just have to learn to ignore htat white noise so to speak and discern when it's actually finding someone.
BBQ if you're farming but if not Sloppy if no medkits since it really buys you time even with others healing since they're not ong ens anymore.
Franklins if you see more than 2 medkits/toolboxes/flashlights or a combo of 4 items and memorize where you smacked them since they'll always go back to that spot if you lose them.
Bitter Murmur is great for the free tracking both when gens get done and endgame especially if you're using Rancor and or have an Ebony.
Ebony, speaks for itself but even if you forget to use it the mere presence of it will make them play much more careful.
Rancor, great for mind gaming the obsession especially if it's a swf group since you can go one way for those 3 seconds then another entirely.
M&A, this is a great one for her especially if not using her Prayer Beads but with Prayer Beads and Yakuyoke Amulet you can get much much closer before phasing. That makes your jump scares that much more evil and allows you to either get a grab plus hit if more than one of multiple hits.
Brutal I don't bother with since you want to mind game pallets anyways and if you bring Spirit Fury it's wasted and besides if you bring Brutal. You get tempted to destroy pallets you want left up so you can bait survivors into using them.
MYC is awesome on her since you can run off or even phase off from the hook quickly so by the time you're halfway through phasing it'll proc. Yuo cna turn around mid phase usually and head right back to the hook for a free down or 2.

Did you use a cheat or an exploit? Did you anything that is against the rules of the game? If the answers are no, then you did nothing toxic. This toxic nonsense needs to stop. Slugging is not toxic. Camping is not toxic. Tunneling is not toxic. DS is not toxic. Flashlights are not toxic. Tbagging is not toxic. They are all acceptable parts of the game. Just because you do not like them does not make them toxic. This is a PvP game, as long as you are not breaking the rules of the game(not some made up rules that seem to change every week), play how you want.
I have been caught in a flashlight attack from all 4 survivors while playing Captain Bing Bong. I did not find it toxic, I thought it was imaginative and well coordinated move. I

Ignore them. Sorry you got bullied. They're just Ochido fangirls. Play survivor if it still gets to you.

Spirit.

@Vietfox, @thesuicidefox and @powerbats. Would this be a good build: BBQ and Chilli (I spend a lot of my game doing chases to protect my gens), Sloppy butcher (Awesome perk) A Nurses calling (The mindgames!) And Brutal strength (I really need this to help me deal with pallets I don't have it on Spirit yet but I need your advice on whether I should get this or just mindgame pallets. I'm ok with mindgaming them, but late game it gets rough for me). Also is she viable without addons? I've played so much games and came out with 1 or 0 kills and it sucks because with her addons I get a 4k easily. Is she even playable without them? Please tell me because I'm one of those players who doesn't like to use addons when I only got a little of them. For now I'm running, BBQ and Chilli, A nurses calling, Sloppy butcher And Hex: Ruin. I run this on the spirit:
Stridor
Ruin
Monitor & Abuse
Sloppy
(Bbq only when i want to farm)
Maybe I could try:
Stridor,
Sloppy,
BBQ and chilli
And A nurses calling?
Try different builds and choose the one which suits your playstyle

Thanks for the advice, I'll try out everything.

Since I bought her, I played only 2 games with addons, the rest was without them. I prefer to play these killers (Hag, Nurse, Spirit) without addons, because you'll get used to their abilities.
She is viable, but much harder.Nurse and Hag without addons are great. Ty for telling me, though I'll adapt to it, I like to challenge myself as killer.

How come? Explain your thought process. Why does winning in a certain way make you worse than the player who lost to you?
Ok so basically, if you've tilted a killer enough to the point that you've ran/spun them enough times to damage them (yes there are childish killers who hate getting spun trust me it's a thing they got going for them, be careful who you spin) then they resort to camping you from salt. Unless you were toxic (then you had it coming), then they are, in my opinion, worse then you. Using this to eliminate one survivor who wasn't even toxic makes them a worse player in my opinion. Because the survivor outplayed the killer and the killer couldn't handle it so they camped them. I've been in this situation but I've always held back from camping because it's not fair on the survivor, plus if they get off, you're going to get a load of salt in the endgame chat.
That's my thought process. It's definitely not correct but hey, it's my opinion

WAIT READ THIS IT'S MORE IMPROTANT
At XBOX high ranks (5-7), there is a Clown who dresses only in black and brings a mori for you if you've ran him for 2 gens before. He did it on me and tunnelled me straight off of the hook. This guy is cancerous. If you see him, do not hesitate to try to juke him ASAP because if you run him for more then 2 gens and he's got a 'secret offering' you will be mori'd straight away.

Well if they resort to camping, unless the gates are powered, then yes you're a better player.
