@lasombra1979 I hope Samination sees this. Then watch it be a placebo and the David pillow not be shirtless or something, because business. Ask for the refund and get hit with the 'didn't you read the disclaimer on our products' line. xD

Exactly we all deal with all the stuff in the game that’s killer sided which is fine and understandable since it’s 4v1 but all the complaining the killers do is so unnecessary just because they feel their entitled to a 4K every single game
What's killer sided?
Those no skill perks (aside from spirit fury) are end-game. Survivors have no-skill perks that work at any point. Most of these have little to no counter-play. Both sides use the same "OP" perks in their arguments. It isn't just a killer thing, but the fact that the game is just inherently flawed. Yet you bash killers for calling it out.
-
And you know, they're only testing on one platform. Because who actually cares about us console users?
Isn't the PTB flawed as well? I cannot speak from personal experience but I've noticed this from others.

Uhm do you want to talk about all of the totem perks that give you an insta down? Which is fine but mom and ds literally do the opposite and give the survivor a “3rd” hit but that’s a problem because? Mom should of been changed like I said I honestly think ds is in a fine place but for some reason after both of them got nerf multiple times were still complaining about them??
Oh ######### I have to cleanse totems. How hard, especially with a perk to help find them (or just learn the spots you lazy person).
MOM needed counter-play aside from being billy or an insta-down add-on/tier 3 Mikey. DS is getting a buff to take away a counter-play option. Also not a true anti-tunnel with so many exceptions.

They nerfed MOM and DS blendette is no longer a blendette -.-
I'd rather they give us options to change lighting than nerf the blendettes.
I'm not liking how DS will not be affected by enduring..... now I HAVE to slug or just eat it.
Mom should have never existed. It was a sales gimmick.
NOED is a band-aid perk to much larger problems they refuse to fix (or say that it's just taking long).

So it's even HARDER to see people while in Feral Frenzy. No scratches, no blood, no red outline. They really hate Legion for some reason.
Are you for real? Welp, you lost one person who actually enjoyed playing as legion.

These devs are like the kid who keeps poking another kid, says "I'm not touching him!", then keeps putting their finger as close as possible, and as soon as their parents look away they poke them again. I think our feedback gets translated to Lithuanian, then Japanese, then back to English before being given to the devs, and that's where the mix ups come from.
I think you meant to say latin in that list as well.

dude your "community" that devs should listen to, literally consists out of killer mains. i havent seen one person with a survivor profil pic who complains about the ghostface hotfix. ofcause they are not listening to you guys, because that would be totally one sided and stupid. devs have brains too and they will not change anything because some killer mains, what you call "community" says so.
now to the thread: you guys have some serious problems, for you, a killer is balanced if you get a easy 4k. just play him and tell me how many kills you get in average. if its 2 or above stop cry your eyes out. omg every time....
I'm actually a survivor main by definition. More consistent with ranking and experience less adverse effects to my health. Stop judging people by the avatar they chose.
I'm not liking what's happening. I want to face off with more killers. If killer mains don't want to play him, how am I going to play against him? So yeah, killer feedback is actually pretty important.
-
I'm excited to see the bugs it will create for me as ps4 user. OH WAIT. I won't be able to even try him with the stun VFX. If this is how it's going to be, I might just only play survivor because I won't get physically sick then.

It's not a survivor pressure tool, it's a progression stall tool. Survivors cannot work on gens, totems, or the like until they mend, otherwise they risk going down. Basically, it's to make them lose time.
There is no benefit for a second hit except for the fact you will be as close as possible once you start coming down from FF.
What you want on Legion is Sloppy and Thanataphobia. His Thanataphobia really compliments his stall, since it persists a bit into after mending, and sloppy keeps thana in the game a bit more then normal. And since his ability will always put a survivor in the injured state, it's extremely easy to keep thanataphobia running. Add to that some survivors will do all they can to remove thanataphobia, and will look for heals, which just means they'll stall the game more for you. Problem is, unless you meet a team of self care users, you can inflict injury faster then they can heal as long as you're willing to ignore chases that might give them a chance to get back up from injured.
ThoughSloppy Butcher does not affect mend time. Mend is not considered a healing action.
This. You have to play them as a stalling kind of killer. Also go sloppy/thana and patrol, patrol, patrol. The patrolling and constant movement is key here. If a survivor doesn't heal, make them learn to. Pop works as well (once you've got the find and hook down).
Learn to give up bad chases. Legion cannot spare that kind of time. If you develop good pathing, it won't feel slow and tough to patrol. Use Feral only on groups and to track. Can't find that one immersed person? Stab the person trying for your attention.
Bottom line, you have to snowball yourself. It won't be easy, but damn is it worth it when you make people see just how deadly legion can be.

You are not alone. I have had this happen to me, so would also love an answer.

Not everyone has faced Ghostface yet and we should all stop complaining about changes until we have played as him. I know some people did play the ptb but the games are mixed with random ranked survivors so its hard to judge him.
Give him a few days and enjoy playing as him. No need to complain about changes that haven't come yet. I personally welcome the changes but if they are too much then they'll revert him back.
Just enjoy the fact he is released, decently strong and we can enjoy him since the event has been extended. Thanks devs for doing this!
What about those of us who can't because of the stun VFX?

They're pretty inconsiderate as a whole when you factor this and flashlight blinds. Certain flashlight/add-on combos make me turn away from the screen, and I've straight up d/c'd before if I'm getting flashlight spammed. Sudden lighting effects are very debilitating to some people, and they don't seem to care.
This. I had to actually dc once because of being chain-blind. It actually me violently ill. Even if it's just like a toggle or lessening of the effect, I could maybe stomach it but it's still not enjoyable. This is why I never use flashlights.

Same. I really don't get it. There was a multi-page thread in the PTB feedback forum where multiple people said the stun VFX could actually prevent them from playing killer.
I was lurking on that because it really affects me just from watching that whole effect. What's the point of feedback again? I think I'm missing something here and it makes me sad.
-
Looks like I won't buy him. I was being realistically optimistic despite nerfs/buffs and whatnots, but this was a deal-breaker for me.

Excuse the spelling mistakes, i was in a hurry and distracted. Basically i am getting relay annoyed by the PS community as well. I joined a group, and with in 20 secs, 2 of the survivors DC once the killer gets near them. Me and another keep going. we get 3 gens done, i get hooked, i die. i struggled as long as i could so the other survivor cold find the hatch. survivor gets snagged at the door. and DCs on the killer.
I being nice, messaged the Killer and said the above. basically thanks for not taking it easy on me even though there were only two of us, and good game and all. they then call me and dick head, ect and i am mad i lost my life. Uhhhhhh No, if i was mad i would of DCed. dieing is apart of the game!!! if i was mad why would i of messaged and been nice. I was trying to be like dont give up because some people are unsportsmanlike and DC when they are going to die.
Even when trying to be nice you cant win with them. I refuse to DC when a survivor and hung, there is nothing to gain from it.
I have kept this one voice message I got (I was playing Billy). Mind you, I am ######### at Billy and do it for lolz and the trophies. This guy dc'd after I m1'd him twice. Didn't even chainsaw him. Called me cancer and other bad things I'm not sure I can repeat here.
Funny thing is, I got the adept Billy trophy that same game because I farmed with the other two (the third one also dc'ed). I apologized to the two who stayed and they were chill about it. More mad about the others dcing and appreciated the gesture of being nice.

Pretty much!
If one of my guys tries healing me under the hook or trips a hag trp, they have to play through the rest of the trial while hearing the "Baby shark" song. Aversion therapy ftw!
On the subject of SWF, no it's not going to go anywhere, and if it did, we'd be back to lobby dodging while people sought to be with their friends anyway. I do recognise that there are groups that do their best to screw with killers and indeed solo survivors. I had a 3man block me in until the killer came for no other reason than s**t's and giggles.
However a good portion are a bunch of friends giggling nervously at a generator while trying to look behind them in several different directions at once. And those people shouldn't be punished simply because of the ones who can't play the game like a grown up.
Unfortunately, I think they would enjoy it if I played "baby shark" and sing along and just annoy me more. I literally scold them when they do something toxic and get hooked for it before getting them off. If one of them refuses to save another and I'm busy, I use my authority over them to guilt them into saving the other. The only way I ever punished them was in kyf where I was killer and just stomped on them. xD
-
@TreemanXD I'm like the parent of the group, which is why I pip. I clean up their messes and get zero thanks for it. And I have to make sure they behave towards each other. It's more work than being a solo or a killer sometimes. But they're entertaining..... oh god, is this what having children is going to be like?🤔
-
The only time I "bully" is to take the aggro off a friend. I would prefer being called a '#########' to a bully.
-
Omg wait. Do I play with you? It's like you know. xD
Can say I'm with a group that gives zero ######### about doing well. I'm the only one that consistently pips (and they might kick me out for it :O).

With lots of screaming and random sounds plus really random conversations. xD
-
Whoever you play the most, since you would know them inside and out.

I don't dodge and I don't let a swf determine how or who I play. I make it fun for me and ignore any messages afterwards. If someone is looping me to hell, I leave them and let them follow me around as I pick off their friends.

@BadMrFrosty said:
@TAG Neat, I actually really like that add on. Feels closer to the movies and lets you 'play a game' as it were. I might be in the minority, but I believe ultra rares should not only be powerful, but offer a fairly interesting change to the killer's power/style of play. BVHR has failed spectacularly at this when it comes to their last few killers.
So, a brief write up for base Pig would look something like this:
- A stealth killer, capable of abducting survivors out of hiding and using her power, Jigsaw's Baptism, as a lethal stalling mechanism. She can also traverse the map using trap doors, assisting her in getting the drop on unaware survivors.
Changes to the Pig:
- Traps are now activated when placed on a survivor.
- Generators that are completed reduce the time of all active traps by X amount (variable).
- Dash attack reworked: The Pig will now abduct survivors if a successful grab is landed during her crouch, rendering them unconscious with a syringe and forcing a 'wake up' mini-game before wiggling can be attempted. If successful, the survivor has their wiggle meter filled by X amount (variable) and may begin wiggling. If the mini-game is failed, the survivor wakes up, but must wiggle as normal without the bonus.
- Trap door entrances are placed at random locations on the map, visible to only the Pig. When interacted with, they allow her to traverse the map quickly, and after a brief delay, she will appear in a new location.
Those are just for her base power. I know it seems loaded, but without massive changes to how the game functions, a lot of these changes are needed to see her reach any level of competitiveness. I was also kicking around an idea for one of her ultra rare add ons, but one I really liked the idea of was this one:
- Rigged Hatches - The Pig's trap doors now open up when stepped on by survivors, causing them to slip and hang on to the edges of the floor, incapacitated. Until a teammate assists them or they complete a recovery mini-game, they risk falling. Survivors that succeed the mini-game pull themselves out of the hole and act as normal, retaining whatever health state they were in. Survivors that fail the mini-game fall into the basement and are put into the dying state.
There would be more coming than this, obviously, and hopefully it'd end up being a tad more refined and within the format we'd recognize in terms of add-on/power/perk write ups.
Add-ons could increase difficulty of the wake-up action or lengthen the time it takes to wake-up (change effectiveness of the syringe).
Tag's idea with starting with a trap, but as a base. An ultra could be one person starting with the trap activated (similar to Freddy having the obsession in the dream-world).

I'm just waiting to see how he fairs on console.

Amanda shouldn't sound so cute for a badass (please don't change it though). Would also put Huntress higher (though I wouldn't call it 'adorable').

I mean, I faced off against a Legion yesterday and I gave him a gg, he said I was the first person to actually not be toxic.
This makes me reevaluate what the community is.
Similar thing happened to me. Played against a really good pig, like the person wasn't scummy in the slightest. We only got out (I think we all did or one didn't) because they didn't have perks. I messaged them to tell them that and it literally made their day.
On the flip side, I actually got friend requests and friendly comments playing nurse. I was using no add-ons and her standard perks and just learning her. No one went out of their way to bash me (and I was terrible).
As legion, I had a survivor apologize for the others farming them. I gave them hatch because I knew that was happening. Like they felt bad for me because they thought that an easy game was boring. Now we're friends. :P

Hag is thr only killer I die inside when facing her.
I don't condone dcing but I may consider doing it against hag.
She is not op or anything but she counters my full sprinting plsystyle and I don't wish to change it.
She, alongside doc, does a thing that drives me bananas when hijacking my camera while triggering a trap.
If I am facing a good hag, I'll just die on the hook ASAP and go to another match.
Once again, she is fine the way she is, I just don't want ti change my plays so I am overall guilty of non adapting.
Even so, if I could avoid hags I would gladly do so :)
Yes, that is annoying. The whole triggered traps jerking my camera around. Not enough for me to salt about it even though it messes up some hook rescues when I didn't even trigger the trap. Oh, and traps bugging to trigger while still crouched. That has happened a few times. Something that's actually thrilling in this game.
-
Most solos get ######### by teammates, especially if they're swf. I'm the only one in my swf group that will save randoms, because I've been that person. I know that I play with people who aren't serious, we don't even really talk about the game.
Also had that key thing happen to me. Thankfully the killer didn't close the hatch as I was the last one and I managed to escape, but man was I salty at them. They even messaged me after the game, like no thanks you did your damage so leave me alone now.
As killer, I don't care. If I notice someone being the odd man-out, I don't tryhard against them. I target off the others and let that last guy escape. Swfs are cruel.
-
I find her fun to play against (I know others who disagree like those people you mentioned). Especially when she has thrill, because I'm that person that will draw her attention and try for it. Once I see a hag and people in basement, I'm like 'gg' and stay away. Unless I've been playing with you, I won't try for that. I'm not dumb, I know she trapped the ######### out of that.
Yet everyone else sets off her traps, even those who watched her place them. You would think people would have learned by now, but no. -_-

I think his power would be more fun if it where progressive, like the Plague. Like, the longer the survivors are in the smoke, the longer and more aggressive the effects are, rather than a short, instant slow and blur.
That would be a no from me chief (unless it starts minimally, and I mean minimally). Already can't play against him as is with the gas effects. Probably won't fly since it wouldn't be effective then and might actually be a slight nerf.
