It'll be nerfed... Don't you worry.
I doubt it. The devs seem to like his current state
-
Jeff because I’m a quiet metal head who likes to draw. Jane is a close second though
-
These are my favourites
-
People would just use the next best thing
-
Yeah having your chain be able to injure is just dumb
-
He’s definitely better than clown at the moment since chain hunt can be so oppressive

U make a good point with trickster, but no clown's yellow bottle is useless. His counter still stays, simply pre drop every pallet. Trickster has good 1v1 in low loops, meaning he's very map and rng dependent. The only killer that needs a nerf is spirit, everything else is either fine or needs a buff
Yellow bottles are pretty useful actually. They make loops like shack unplayable for survivors when combined with his tonic

If its so easy why did it take them 3 months to buff nemesis barely
Because he’s not that weak in the first place? The devs themselves said he was very balanced but just needed a small buff
-
I mean Noed is controversial but it’s hardly a bad perk
-
Jeff also has the same issue with cosmetic variety. His new outfit is straight up lazy

Billy was close then the devs had to give him a CD -.-
Fair but I’d still say he is fun for both sides
-
Honestly I’ve played a couple of killer matches and it’s seems just as random as before. I don’t take the game seriously though so I don’t really care
-
@EvilJoshy said:
There is nothing one side can have that the other won't say is "unfun, toxic, OP".
Billy and huntress and demo have been very close.
-
Nemesis would body plague in an instant
-
Myers and pyramid head are the only ones really
-
He’s decent but hard to use well
-
Yeah it’s dumb. So many instances of slow vaulting back into him
-
Dbd has had competition before. It’s just that most of it wasn’t that good (except Friday the 13th)
-
He’s pretty complex and the game doesn’t do the best job of telling you what he does. People will get used to him in a week or two
-
As a wglf user I hate it

Your missing the glaring issue here. Grades as of writing this, and well be until the 13th.....do infer skill level to a point. Because Red Ranks got moved to Red Grade. Purple to Gold, Green to Silver etc.
I was being sarcastic. This matchmaking was clearly terrible
-
Working as intended!
-
I can’t appreciate a map that makes one of my favourite killers unable to use his power for its intended use
-
Trapper would body pig easily even without his traps

Yes it was. Tell me something that was bigger and brought in more people.
Halloween with quite possibly one of the most famous horror icons?
-
3 gen doc with this sounds fun :)
-
The game would become insanely unbalanced?
-
Fun I guess. I don’t have anything else to get at this point

They most definitely are trash. I am a 1000 hour nurse main- she has 4 addons that are useful.
And those are pretty damn good. Range is just strong and recharge removes the one recent nerf she actually got

Both are OK now, nurse need a high skill to play her property or decent.
That doesn’t make her fair. Nurse can literally ignore every defence survivors have and have mobility aswell as amazing perk synergy
Spirit ignores survivor counterplay by not giving info and has a stupidly good set of add ons all for a low skill floor

IT's equally #########. You start losing no matter what...
But you only lost 1 gen compared to 3. Devour is sad but that’s just totems tbh
-
That’s a good spawn. Have 4 people spawn split up and complete 3 gens after your first chase. That’s bad
-
I don’t really think Freddy is that good anymore. Wraith easily outclasses him imo

Nurse is already nerfed, and nerfed many times, she's add-ons are pure trash, spirit nerf? She got nerfed too twice, nice joke, people asking for no reason nerfs, crybaby complain about those 3 killers because IS THE ONLY VIABLES killers at hight rank, because the devs don't do nothing about the other to buff or do something to be useful in high ranks
Just because a character got nerfed before doesn’t mean they are suddenly balanced. Trapper has been buffed countless times so is he good now?

"Based on lore and in game abilities"
In that case I’d say oni but billy would still have a chance if oni’s blood fury wasn’t powered

I agree, but there is a difference between fun anti loop, and boring anti loop. Trickster, Nemesis, and deathslinger are the worst of this. They have very little depth, their whole character is just "I will m1 unless you do animation, then m2, lmao silly survivors" it isn't very fun or interactice. But I'd say killers like Pyramid Head, Pinhead, Huntress, and Demo are fun because they have counterplay and fun gameplay.
Doesn’t PH fall into the unfun category? He’s very similar to nemesis in how you m1 unless they are in an animation
-
Depends. If it’s entity powered oni he’d wipe the floor with billy but in their human form I think billy would win due to his endurance and chainsaw

Some sets don't make sense tho honestly , the dresses I get
Well we have nea’s which has the hood and pants
Blight and oni’s are different characters
elodie Jane and kate’s are all dresses
Clown’s is the only one that could probably not be a set imo
-
I’m fine with anti loop but the problem is killers like nemesis, ph and slinger because of their ability to zone and make every pallet pretty unsafe
-
Bhvr only makes sets when the can’t split them up due to clipping(barring RE skins that could be licensed issues though)
-
I would be very happy if spirit and nurse got nerfed but blight is fine (barring alchemist ring)

No, actually, and you already mentioned half of why. Dead Dawg has several strong resources, and insane stealth potential to make up for the weak ones.
First of all, the saloon itself. Enough said, really.
Then there's the Shack, which is almost as strong as a regular shack. No matter what, it's still a strong window joined to a god pallet chained with a strong pallet.
Then there's the building son the opposite street, which spawn some nasty configurations and are almost always solid, if not downright cruel, kind of like the pier in Grim Pantry on steroids but with breakable walls that eventually render it simply "decent".
Then there's at least two very strong pallets (one in front of shack, one in front of the saloon) and multiple potential raised generator spawns, as well as a few strong windows that can spawn.
So no, Dead Dawg is far from resourceless. RNG dependant, perhaps, but not resourceless. And if you were to delete the main building and shrubbery then sure, it would be much weaker. But you may as well talking about deleting the houses from Haddonfield, or in a more accurate comparison, the maze tiles from Coal Tower.
Yes. I just wrote an essay on Dead Dawg. Please don't think this was aimed at you, I just wanted to blurt out my thoughts on a map that I enjoy getting as a survivor and am sick of pretending otherwise for the sake of not being attacked.
Edit: Perhaps it's because people like to burn resources instead of playing mindgames around them that they hate Dead Dawg?
Guess it’s just my experience with the map. I have no problem getting downs quickly as clown on it due to the pallet strength and small size
-
@MadLordJack said:
The Devs don't care about balance or fun. Maps don't get disabled for being genuinely painful, they only get disabled for game-breaking bugs. If a map is disabled, it's never for balance reasons.
I still really want a small map with almost no resources or stealth potential so that everyone can get a taste of the ultimate, unquestionable out-mapping.
Besides the stealth and main building dead dawg is pretty close to that
-
As a casual killer player I’ve noticed a completely random level of survivors ranging from rank 21 megs to really good players. I don’t like it personally

i actually think clown is High B tier. from experience playing him and playing against. since i mained clown and spirit before twins.
I main him too and I’d put him about low B tier. He has good anti loop but nothing else but he can’t excel in chase like slinger or huntress can
-
skins are kinda subjective but even then most of nurses are fairly interesting and change her look up a lot

Which is an incredibly poor way of thinking. Let’s look at Clown, he got a rework right? Whole entire other bottle type added, so now what? Do we just wait until he gets reworked again?
Clown is not good, I feel confident in this statement. He got better, which is nice, but still not good. So the fact that he among other Killers in a similar situation haven’t been changed yet is so confusing.
Any game that cares about competitive balance cannot be afraid of small changes. Sometimes all it takes are slight changes in mere numbers to take something from mediocre to decent and fun. Pig crouching faster like Ghost Face would change nothing besides making Pig players have more fun.
Clown right now is decent but as for killers like trapper or pig the devs just don’t really care. The devs don’t care about competitive balance
-
The devs don’t like to do small buffs. It either has to be a part of an add on pass or a total rework. Even then every small buff usually comes with a trade off.
-
I pretty much only play clown at this point tbh
-
Releasing a killer too strong is more annoying to most players since they are going to be played so much at their release. It’s also easier to buff a weak killer as opposed to nerfing a strong one
