It’s quite hard to hit the chain
Good pinheads like good nurses will hit it consistently and since you can place it anywhere it will become basically a free hit anywhere
-
Surge, pop, deadlock, bbq and corrupt!
-
If you like it keep running it. I don’t but I can understand how people hate the restrictive FOV
-
Plague has always been my second best killer. She’s fun but too inconsistent for me to main
-
Either suicide on hook or finish archive challenge

Listen I have a bit of Lord_Tony in me where I just have a strong hatred for survivor main egos. Also from my experience, I see way more survivors than killers acting that way. I can assure you I do play survivor about as much and I understand that there are issues on both sides.
In general there are more survivors though. For every 1 killer you meet there is 4 survivors so it only makes sense to see more toxic survivors.

So much so that I've lost count long ago.
It was somewhat understandable with forever Freddy but now Freddy is just average at anything he does unfortunately
-
It’s the last thing this game needed imo
-
I’ve had no problems with it as killer
-
As others have said he’s pretty much unplayable on console. On PC he’s bad but viable

How have your matches been so far?
With MMR like most it has been random but most matches have been decent

Are you still using clown?
Yep. I don’t play killer much anymore so I don’t have much time to learn a new one. Best stick to what I know
-
I’ve mained clown and stuck on him for 2 years. Went through a bit of a billy phase but he’s way too frustrating atm
-
It’s much better than clown’s slow. It forces slow vaults and makes them move slower
-
At this point it’s been out of 5he game longer than it’s been in. Best just to call it quits now
-
It’s not that simple

His last good cosmetic imo was the year of the rat and that was ages ago

Omg this comment is filled with false information it’s insane.
“People don’t DC or kill themselves on hook on hook because get hit once or don’t like the killer.” -Well this statement was contradicted in your next paragraph so now this is meaningless. And the survivors I went against DID DC on their first hit and because I was Spirit.
Quit defending DCs like survivors don’t abuse them. It’s not right, it does ruin games for others and if you don’t see that, then you’re admitting something you don’t wanna admit about yourself.
If the majority of survivors unanimously decided to DC every time they see a Spirit, us Spirit players will literally never be able to play the game. I love Spirit, I want to enjoy her. I understand why you people don’t like her but please just quit doing the small PP move.
Both sides do DC though. How many huntress’ and Billy’s do you see dc on indoor maps? While this is fine imo it still does ruin the match for survivors who might have waited a long time for said match

And my point is that if you were right, DCers/quitters wouldn't be coming here to whine about the penalty. They'd just suicide or whatever.
That’s more so people complaining that they have to throw/suicide instead of just DCing. It wastes more time for them and makes them have to play a match they don’t want to longer
-
@toastcrusher said:
Here we go again....same people always defending the same #########....people dont dc or kill themself on the hook because they get hit once or dont like the killer.
THEY dc because they are playing a complete a hole and when you've played long enough its easy to see what kind of killer your dealing with.
And stop with the team bs....your team is facing the same a hole and will find out soon enough....most play solo and when 1 or 2 decide to leave in a match that was ALLREADY going nowhere except for the killers fun, then best be done with it.
who the f do you think you are telling others what kind of games they want to play, instead of trying to blame the outcome, you should focus on the cause.
If this was truely a big problem then BEhaviour should have done something about all the tunneling, camping and other unwanted play style
Tbf some people do dc even before the killer shows their an A hole

Throwing is throwing. Hardly matters whether someone gives up in a football match by throwing a tantrum and walking off the field (DCing), getting a red card (suicide), or scoring own goals (actively helping the killer), the result is the same: the team loses because of one person who can't deal with the fact that not every game will go according to plan.
That’s exactly what I mean and why I don’t care about DCing in particular. If someone doesn’t want to play a match they won’t and this is why the dc penalty essentially does nothing imo.
I’m not condoning it but I can at least understand why someone who isn’t having fun in a game might quit and do something they actually do find fun
-
Executioner is literally invincible in SH so I’d go with him

really? do you have a link for this?
The way they worded it the patch notes made it seem like it was licensing disputes. They said “due to complications”
-
@GannTM said:

Yeah they got hit once and then decided they weren’t having fun. That’s in no way excusable.
I’ll agree that case is a bit extreme but I personally have no issue with anyone DCing because they are not having fun in the match. This isn’t a serious game to me so the match outcome doesn’t matter.
if you have a problem with it then fair enough but people will always dc for any reason they see fit and they have a right to do it. They bought the game after all

If the penalty is irrelevant, then there's no reason to change it. Yet, DCers come to the forum constantly to rally against it.
I never said to change it. Fact is it doesn’t stop people from suiciding/throwing matches which is essentially the same thing if not worse since they might actively hinder the team by helping the killer
-
it would feel bad losing the face of the game. Plus no more funny “we did a pretty good job so far” meme
-
It’s honestly very balanced atm. Combo it with the third seal or add ons if you’re worried about instant cleansing
-
And water is wet. This was kinda expected
-
Very unlikely since it seems like it’s licensing issues

Still doesn’t warrant a DC.
Well the person clearly isn’t having fun so why should anyone care if they leave?
Even if they don’t leave they’ll probably just suicide or throw the match. I’ve seen it happen a lot especially in match against certain killers. If you don’t give them one option they’ll just do the next best thing
-
I’ll definitely give it a try but it’s not going to overthrow dbd at all

Which is why the DC timer should be upped!
"You will never stop people doing something they (do not) want to do"- that's why we put in larger DC timers so less people have to deal with this and gives incentives to stay in the game.
Her DC rate is so high because people automatically assume it's a loss. They assume every spirit is a god spirit. And they DC because they think they've already lost. Contrary to popular belief, most spirits suck ass. They aren't that great and bully people who don't know what to do against her. I probably have a 50% winrate against her (5% chance for deviation)( a win in my book is that I pip/double pip).
The same used to be for nurse, so many people used to DC the second nurse was in play even after her nerf. However, most nurses rn are just baby nurses.
I care about winning primarily, but if I lose a close game or something funny happens it's also fine with me.
The only thing I hate is stomping/being stomped. And DC'ing early ensures this basically.
That doesn't make me a tryhard, it just means my metric for fun is different to yours.
People DC against spirit because they don’t enjoy fighting her. It’s not fun having no info to use during a chase.
-
Honestly that system would work 10x better for this game

I mean for the worst killer in the game it’s only fitting he have a decent add on. He deserves something for all the downsides his power gives him
How can you say that when legion and trapper exist?

Why do killers really have to waste perk slots to cover for bad design. Yes, survivors can run leader and such to speed up gens but even if they went in with no gen speed perks they still fly too fast unless you're a high end killer.
No, according to survivors they can bring any perk they like without question but if a killer takes ruin/undying they get slated for using 'crutch perks'.
Survivors have to do the same thing. Ds BT and UB are all used to stop annoying gameplay mechanics

I never believe a DC because of things not going in a game should be warranted. It just ruins games for other players.
I don’t take dbd seriously at all so if a teammate dc’s I don’t mind. This game can be very frustrating and I’m fine with someone leaving if they need to cool down a bit.
Plus some games are just going to be inherently unfun. If I play billy on RPD I’m not going to have fun since I can’t use my power for its intended use. In that case I dc
-
I only have 1 killer that I will consistently dc against but anyone else is fair game. This is why I also don’t mind if the killer DC’s. If someone’s not having a fun match i couldn’t care less if they leave

Unfortunately people in this thread are correct, as confirmed by Mandy. Nothing happens.
Nothing except sadness.
At least we can rejoice at Hawkins no longer being in the game
-
They’ll just retire it like splinters
-
It’s kinda dumb if I’m being honest. Having an easy injure every chase for no downside is quite useful
-
They don’t want to balance nurse so they’ve just left her bugged. Unfortunate but not surprising
-
I pretty much only play clown as killer. And for survivor I play Jane/Jeff
-

Yeah yeah, its my problem, yeah sure sure. Give me more premade, give me 7k player when i play a first time killer, give me tryharder that predopp all pallet agains wraith
It’s up to you to counter what the survivor is doing. Pre dropping can be strong but you have to learn when to break chase if someone is at a strong setup. Wraith is very good at keeping a team injured and catching people in bad spots so use your mobility to your advantage
Also are you implying wraith is low tier?

@Leachy_Jr said:

He is (hopefully) talking about low tier killers only getting 3 hooks, which in high level matches is actually realistic with horrible maps like badham and cowshed existing.
In fact if you get more than 3 hooks against a good squad on badham as trickster, id argue they aren't good at all.
Well that’s playing as a bad killer on a bad map. The opposite can happen if you’re playing survivor against an IF nurse on the game. It’s just the rng nature of dbd
Though I do agree maps are painfully unbalanced atm
-
If you have 3 hooks for 5 gens MMR isn’t the issue

They have some nice skins, too. And loads of bloodpoints. Don't forget it!
I do challenges but the actual rift itself usually has some bad cosmetics. This one besides the clown skin is terrible imo

I’ve given up on the tome. It’s just a bunch of charms and recolours now

Give the killer with the most powerful ability 115% speed? No thanks

I 100% agree. He’s definitely a solid B tier atm
-
He seems like Ghostface where add ons make him 10x more fun to play
