BHVR once again hasn’t considered console whatsoever
Removing chains is the same button as vaulting, so I’ve vaulted several times when I didn’t want to & died because of it. How long will it take for nonsense like this to change?
I genuinely think the people in charge of this game need fired, they can’t do anything right.
With that said, pinhead is easily the best killer they’ve made since Oni. Everything after has been garbage or almost garbage tier though.

Your tier list would be... Interesting. But yeah, I didn't realize they were the same button because I only got to play against two Pinhead and the first game I was just testing out if I could solve the box without him teleporting. So only one game where I was actually being chased and he never landed the chains.
Ever took a look in options?
Yep, and the options are garbage. I don’t want a different button for gens, we need the option to customise specific actions in the game, not generalised nonsense.
When I mean garbage I mean buggy, unfun to play against, etc.
You can keep the gens on the same button just change vault/palletdrop to something else. I have it on r2 and it works well for me.
I don’t want to change vaulting… I want to change breaking the chains
Yeah it’s dumb. So many instances of slow vaulting back into him
It is not just about chains. When you want to heal a teammate near the pallet you could drop it or waste time trying to get right action to pop.
Also you could pick up items near windows instead of vaulting or jump in the locker. Etc etc.
But there still do need to be more options for button mapping. One of the first things I did when playing this game was change the button for vaulting/pallets, but that's not enough in certain situations...
The game needs more options for controllers, for both button mapping and things like stick dead zone. They have precision-based killers but no way to adjust controls so that you can actually be precise on a controller.
I agree. I am just saying what they could do now to improve their gameplay.
Fair enough.
Yeah, I changed my Vault/Pallet button to the triangle first thing. It feels so good never accidentally dropping a pallet. I also get extremely judgy about anyone who does accidentally drop the pallet, because I am obviously better than them. 😁 😉
I changed it to r2 so I can rotate the camera at the same time.
