She probably will, yes. It's easier than learning how to play against her, after all. It also makes me sad that the most unique killer, who can provide interesting moments that break from the usual survivor mold of "hold M1" or "loop" is going to be nerfed because people want every single killer to feel and play the same way from the survivors' perspective.
Then why are blight oni and huntress so well liked? They break basic looping patterns in fun ways.

Oh my...
That’ll cause a riot won’t it...
Extra popcorn needed.
Oh I know I’ll be crucified for this as I have in the past (I’ve made multiple threads about nurse) but if we want to make the game Balanced current nurse has to go
-
It’s great for defending totems and is better on most hexes since the change. Ruin and devour are your best combos for it

Which only points to the fact of how broken her power is sometimes.
Its the sign of a good killer, regardless of their chosen killer, that can compensate for the characters weaknesses/downsides whilst managing to maximise utilising the characters strengths.
In the case of Nurse, because she bypasses every single mainstay of survivor gameplay, it really doesn’t matter how severe her drawbacks/compensations for a player that’s learned to manage them.
As survivor all you can hope for is to never be spotted by Nurse in the first place. That’s it. Against a good Nurse that’s your only defence.
Spotted? Game over.
Yeah... I know... break LoS. That works sometimes... if you’re extremely lucky.
Exactly you can nerf her all you want but if she can go through walls and hit you then she’ll be the best killer in the game simple as
Best they can do imo is just do a Freddy on her and give her a new power
-
Damn most I’ve got is about 50 on 1 character
-
Maybe a new map? We did this with groaning storehouse so why can’t we get a twins or trickster map in the near future?

But that's the whole reason why some of us find her fun her unique playstyle and the way she completely changes the game is what I enjoy about Nurse, I love chases and it makes it so fun to out position survivors to like get into the survivor's mind and beat them up. >:)
I honestly never liked the pallet running in circles I can't for the life of me enjoy it so I always player Nurse in fact Nurse was the first killer I got into because I loved the idea of the ability it was really hard, but really really fun even when I lost. The nurse was also the first killer I P3'd and I still play Nurse even now. :)
The problem is DBD’s design is essentially pallet looping at this point.
I don’t like to compare DBD to other games but imagine in let’s say a fighting game you had a character who just hit through your block no matter what. You could do all you want to try and make that balanced but if all their attacks still go through block they’d always be OP
That’s the issue with nurse

Trickster is the opposite of anti loop. He can't deal with them at all, he only works in deadzones.
At low wall loops he’s Essentially old legion and his clear intention is to get downs fast
-
Nurse literally removes the main fun aspect for me and forces met to play sit on the ground simulator for 4 minutes

And how do you know that?
Judging by previous patterns
Nemesis: Anti loop
Trickster: Anti loop
Twins: Anti loop if played well and can camp very well
Blight: mobility
PH: anti loop
Slinger: anti loop
See the pattern?
-
What I wish for is a mobilty killer who can deal with chases but is still counterable
What we’ll get is another killer who hits over windows and pallets that has no mobility further emphasising the hold W meta
-
Trapper is both the poster child and the black sheep at the same time.
-
Honestly I’ve seen more survivor puddings than cakes during this event
-
Yeah that’s just dumb can we have it back pls?
-
I think Jeff’s look is pretty solid. It’s kinda basic but they were going for a clear theme and it worked just like Kate or Jane but gets a lot better once you read into his lore
The scar Jeff has is more so a permanent reminder of his old life as a roadie and how it affected his life.
One thing I like too is how all of his cosmetics (barring the mad max one) are all of him at different points in his life from being a roadie to being at an art exhibit when he’s older.
-
Yeah I’d like this. No more Hawkins ghostie or lery’s Myers
-
If the event is feeling like a farming simulator to you maybe go play something else for awhile? Let people enjoy a bearable grind for these 2 weeks

Came into this thread to post this :(
Keep doing God's work, friend.
Chances are he’ll stay like this for awhile since nobody plays him but we’ll see

Characters from Jeff look fine as is.
Jane, Jeff, Yui & Zarina look less awkward next to Yun-Jin, Felix & Elodie compared to the previous survivors.
I'd want them to change after 1 to 2 years or so. Right now, they look fine.
Jeff and Jane could definitely use a small touch up. They look good but a bit outdated

I mean, I understand that people who master her power can get hits basically whenever they need to. But at the same time, I COULD survive against Nurse IRL if she was forced to M1 because I walk faster than that. Rofl.
Her movement speed HAS to be some old change they made to cater to whiny survivors. There is no way it was always that way. No way in hell. I mean, it might have been, I don't actually know. It would shock me though.
She was 115% before but it was changed quickly because her power is so absurd. Even being slower than survivors isn’t enough for her to be weak
-
Forced penance is actually decent at the moment and that change would bring it overboard imo
I forgot to add that Gearhead just needs to be all skill checks then it would be great. No need to completely change it
-
Good we need more Jeff players. Just know we don’t get any cosmetics
-
Gearhead
Feel free to crucify me now
-
It’s objectively a badly designed map for dbd. It’s too big yet also too claustrophobic alongside having god pallets and pallets that are guaranteed hits
It makes haddonfield look like perfect design
-
Nurse is by far the worst but spirit gets a close second
-
Enough said
-
They are definitely OP but brain dead is definitely a stretch
-
There was a prisoner clown concept that looked super cool
Id also love to see a painter Jeff

Here I got excited that direct bottle hits not reliably registering got finally fixed.
Nope we’ll have to wait a year to get that one
-
New Freddy is the equivalent of a beautiful house that was torn down with a bulldozer and replaced with scaffolding made from duct tape and some pipe cleaners
-
Not really. Doc’s just tend to run normal m1 meta builds with potentially brutal strength

It's always Nea Meg Kate and Jane that gets cosmetics. No one else. like I know they are possibly played the most but other characters exist.
Jane seems to get a lot despite me not seeing her very often. Same goes for Felix

A recolour skin you have to unlock :c
And buy :(
Felix almost has as much cosmetics as he does it’s getting absurd
-
Clown.
Oh wait they broke him too :(
-
Trapper needs his own theme since he is the mascot. He got his visual rework recently too so it’s a no brainer
-
Devs: Here’s neon nea 2.0
Community: But Jeff hasn’t got a skin in 8 months
Devs: Nah we gave him a recolour of the skin he got last time. Here have another Meg cosmetic

you're right
Guess I'll stop playing trickster then and only play spirit
then I won't get destroyed by SWF anymore.
guess that means the problem isn't swf it's weak killers.
And I’ve beaten SWF’s with clown before. It’s possible but you have to be really good at your killer of choice
-
@Lord_Tony said:
you're going against a lot of spirit players because killers are absolutely done with SWF and SWF has been destroying every killer but spirit
Why would I play trickster when Im going to get destroyed by swf every game?
If you’re being destroyed by SWF every game the problem isn’t SWF
-
I see what you did here
-
It’s common consensus at this point but the devs seem to have no interest in changing her

A little optimistic there, aren't we?
Yeah you’re right. We’ll l have at least a recolour by then
-
Keeping them for when Jeff gets his cosmetic in 2030
-
Well they also released this so...

This is my concept for a banshee killer
Power
Basic stats
Move speed: 4.6 Ms(115%)
Terror radius: 24M
Height: Tall
A mourning spirit. The banshee can charge her power”Celtic fury” by placing runes. When activated ”Celtic fury” will cause the banshee to become undetectable and increase her mobility. These runes are also a great source of information
The banshee starts the trial with 5 runes. She can place these runes any interactable object such as generators, totems or windows when within 32M and having line of sight on the object. If the rune is placed on an object a survivor who begins to use it will scream and reveal their location. Runes take 2 seconds to place and reduce the banshee’s movement speed to 105% when setting them down. These will charge up the banshee’s main power “Celtic fury”
The banshee’s power has a cooldown of 180 seconds which begins as the trial starts. This cool downs goes down by 30 seconds every time a survivor interacts with an object cursed by a rune. When activated she will scream. This causes all survivors to scream out revealing their location. This also empowers the banshee. During this time the banshee moves 30% faster outside of chase, gets an action speed increase of 25%(vaulting, breaking pallets, picking up survivors) and becomes undetectable. In addition the banshee can also teleport to any runes she has placed. This takes 2 seconds to activate and will take her 5 seconds to be able to teleport again. Celtic fury last for 45 seconds
-
Like every licensed map it’s terrible. Only resident evil fans like it tbh
-
Can we stop using very specific videos as evidence of something? I could pull up any of otz’s 50 wins series and say killer is broken

He would kill me to make music? Ok but where's the problem? 🤨
Because he’s making K pop with them of course!
-
Then shouldn’t we blacklist half the killers roster with indoor maps. Any mobility killer just doesn’t work on them
-
@Milo said:
I feel like he doesn't need a rework, just the add-on pass. And a buff to his stalk.
His tier 3 right now just isn’t impactful enough compared to his counterparts the oni and plague. He definitely needs more than an add on pass

Yeah, now that open handed was buffed, I think Bond outshines empathy now. I know that’s 2 perk slots but I get a LOT of info from it, and can always find help even if everyone is in the healthy state (a drawback of empathy)
Even without open handed bond is just more versatile
