Ironic, considering how she is a main pick survivor due to her small size and dark clothes.
-
I am sure they had a blast. Such a blast that they'll never play the game again, maybe.
-
There's a lot of perks out there that's not worth using unless they're level 3, so it'd not do much.
If we instead removed the 3 level thing from perks so they're maxed out when you buy them from the bloodweb right away, that'd probably be a better solution. Would also reduce the perk grind by lots.

Daily Ritual.

Considering how many years it took to have survivors regroup in a lobby when queuing for SWFs.. this ain't going to be happening anytime soon.
I can agree with your point, though. I've spent 15-20 minutes in a queue as Killer, only to have all survivors DC when I got into the game because they were in a SWF and I did something they didn't like. Then there's another 15-20 minutes queue after that.

I have complained about this several times already and it needs to be fixed. Im so tired of going to cold wind, Macmillan and auto haven. Sometimes on rotation sometimes the same map match after match. The only time when i actually got to play a different one is when I used an offering; Today I have been playing for hours and I keep playing at the same ones. Its so tiring and making me not like this game. There are so many more choices so why is it just because they have 5 "realms"(even though they look the same) is it that those are the ones chosen? If there's more of these overplayed asf maps then their base probability percent should be lowered by half or 3/4.
Wow. Sick necroing, dude. The thread was almost 1½ year old.

They won't say because they don't want people abusing it 😤
Honestly, I just want to know how complicated this supposed system is. It's kind of hard to tell right now if it even exists.
By not saying anything, we don't even know if there's even a system in place. There's no feedback. Nothing confirms that there's a system. They could as well just disabled matchmaking so that it matches the first available players together for quickest queues and then call that a MMR system. We wouldn't know.
BHVR's hurting themselves by not conveying information.
-
I've suffered enough of this glitch that I ain't playing the game anymore. There's no fun in getting the finger whenever you finish a trial, telling you that you lost everything and it was all for naught.
-
It haven't been a week yet since the release of the New and Improved MMR system and the game's definitely losing players.
I wonder how many of those players lost are new players who got matched by red rankers and got stomped? A majority, I'd imagine.
Great work, BHVR! If we clean out all the new players out of the system, the matchmaking will finally be balanced!

Ya think?
BHVR is nothing but a company of absolute liars, change my mind pls. If they just stick with what the community wants we'd be more than happy to play the game, but look where we are.
In the great words of Mathieu "Just play something else"
I won't be able to change your mind as I've gone so cynical with BHVR's actions from past behavior..
Been stating this so many times before but the game needs a proper competitor to fight for the playerbase. If BHVR realize that their game's in danger, they'll hopefully get off their lazy arses and start improving their game.

I agree.
The priority should be this I think:
- Fix game breaking/hindering bugs
- Make the game more accessible (optional colorblind mode, the visual indicators as seen in the mobile version)
- Add more modes (there's a number of good proposals floating around)
- Add/overhaul maps (there so much storytelling in these maps, it's often a shame that things like Lery's or Glenvale have just one version)
- Add new original killers and survivors (maybe even a roleswap dlc that adds survivor versions of the killers to the pool and vise versa)
- Add a skill overview to see how good people are with individual killers and their abilities (which might prompt people to play killers differently)
- Polish the balancing.
- Agree. Top Priority.
- Also a Top Priority. The game's missing out on so much stuff that's literally standard for so many games in the main gaming industry.
- This is not a priority right now. While it'd not hurt with more modes, there's just so much negative things happening in the game right now.
- Most definitely. There's so much that can be improved in terms of maps. I'd not mind a new map in every Realm that have a Clown carnival in it.
- Right now, we need to fix the game instead of adding more.
- The MMR system needs to have a visible indicator of high up you are in the system, and if you're going up or down after games.
- Absolutely.

How do I make the game fun for a toxic 4-man ? Let them bully them? Yeah no...
How do I make the game fun when my teammates are rank 20 and i'm facing a red rank killer? Thank you MMR
How do I make the killer understand me i'm trying to make it fun for everyone? How do I get this info trough his skull?
How do I make the game fun when i'm literally facing rank 20 as killer who just installed the game ?
On another note: I appreciate the weekly reminder, but not in the current state DBD is and how BHVR treats the game. DBD is in it\s worst state right now. I've unistalled the game yesterday because of MMR. If you look at the charts on steam, the player base is already declining
The New and Improved MMR system is a colossal failure.
-
NO.
Its turn it into some CS:GO level bullshit where people sell stuff for hundreds of dollars because they know some poor fool out there will buy it for that price.
If you want to sell your offerings, items and add-ons.. why not implement a way to sell them in-game for 25% of the value you bought it for in the Bloodweb?
-
I've mentioned it in other threads but Clown needs to have a map in every realm where he has set up shop with his traveling carnival.
-
They clogged the Bloodweb for killers. I also suspect that close to no one was using them to actually try a killer out. I've also, from seeing people post about it, learned that they were pretty buggy.
-
We'll see in the coming week how important fixing the New and Improved MMR system is.
-
It needs a rework that doesn't include "Being able to see the killer from massive distances".

Trust me... no one beats candyman in terms of looks
I'd still want Springtrap over him. Candyman is some dude with a hook and a bee infestation. Killer robots are cooler.

True as the game keeps going I do think adding to it or changing it would be nice, heres a take on it that you might think is alright
Brown offerings :100% bp single category
Yellow offerings 100%: bp single category can bring 2 (same category)
Green offerings 100% bp single category can bring 3 (same category)
First off all of them being more powerful in terms of bp but the green and yellow being allowed to bring multiple to earn more at once, maybe even make the green and yellow 125 and 150 idk
Survivor pudding - Escape cake 200% personal
Bloody Party Streamers 100% everyone, 200% personal
Hollow Shell - Sealed envelope 50% personal bonus to 25% everyone else (sealed envelope includes killer)
Bound Envelope 100% personal bonus 50% everyone else Including killer
Overall just more bp is needed so why not just bump all the numbers and have some people receive some as an overlap from other people
Here's what I decided from my own thread linked up a few comments.
-
Have an upvote for a job well done.
As for the game and its developers, habits are really hard to change and programs are gonna be even harder to switch out. I doubt we'll see anything from this.

Rank 1 killer vs me and a team of new players, great work! It's getting more and more ridiculous with every game
Exactly all my games look like this when I am trying to enjoy playing Survivor.
-
Nah.
-
You counter camping by doing generators. If you reward the killer by foolishly throwing yourself at the hook to save your teammate, he'll continue doing it.
-
Using graphically superior trailers to sell cosmetics isn't something new. Learn to resist the temptation and hype from seeing such.
-
I'd personally lower the regression caused to 3/4/5% for the removal of the cooldown.
-
If you press that button, the chat box goes away and won't reopen until you choose to do so yourself.

BBQ doubles bp by just playing the game, cutting the games needed played almost in half (dont always get 4 stacks or have level 3)
The BP offerings totally need an overhaul, though. Its a relic of the past that needs a streamlining.
-
I wonder how many new players to DbD are never going to pick up the game again after suffering from the New and Improved MMR system?
-
The best way would not be to change the Cake/Pudding/Streamers but change the smaller ones to be better.
Its something I explore in my own BP Offering Rework thread I made a while ago.

+5
Brilliant idea. I'd absolutely love to see my killer performance from the eyes of another player.
-
I'd not mind it gone. The whole "long looping corridors" doesn't work in Dead by Daylight when the killer cannot intercept Survivors running away.
-
BHVR are afraid to make viable killer perks.
-
There's no competitors out there that can take DbD's playerbase away from them.

For skins yes, for charms however, I think they're gone for good.
Why'd you be excited for Charms anyway? Most Charms in the Rift are just recolored/retextured versions of each-other. They're just there as filler. I'd be more excited to get Iridescent Shards instead of Charms.

As a seasoned Clown main myself I can confirm they’re 100% right.
When I’m survivor against Clown, or watch streamers playing Clown, many of them do not play him correctly at all. The perception that Clown is weak stems from many players not understanding what you’re supposed to do with the bottles.
I still fail to see how differently you can play "throw bottles in the path of survivors and M1".
-
They said in a recent Q&A that Clown was doing fine and people just didn't know how to play him correctly.
-
There's a hypocritical idea in the game that NOED is a crutch but using perks like DS/Unbreakable/Borrowed Time together aren't. Survivors feel like they're being robbed of their victory and that causes noise to be made by frustrated players.
-
We got a user here on the forums who have played a shitload of Wraith since the implementation of the new MMR system and he's still being matched against newbies. We're seeing streamers, who play the game for a living (Fog Whisperers and otherwise), being matched against newbies despite playing the game all day long.
The new MMR system does not work as intended!
-
Its either working in reverse or not existing at all. No matchmaking system ever should match literal first game newbies vs people who got 1000+ hours.
-
I wonder how many new players will never ever touch DbD again due to the new MMR system. Things like this shouldn't happen.
-
I wonder how many players are never going to be playing DbD again after getting utterly crushed by players with 500-2000+ hours more than them? This MMR system backfired gloriously and now I cannot stop looking at the fire.
-
I always try and squeeze in BBQ in my builds because of the prospect of getting double BP. The game become more fun the more you get.
-
Pig's Face Mask add-on is my favorite.
