That doesn't determine ping.
Distance plays a part of it, sure, but I know that there's a big difference playing with my own fiber internet and McDonalds free wifi.
-
They could just make it so that you get a stack for also healing a health state on another survivor, on top of protection hits and safe unhooks. It'd drastically improve the perk.
-
Press the arrows within the red circle and box closes, never to be opened again. Unless, you press the arrows once more.
-
It does literally nothing.
-
Here's what I'd like to see implemented.
- Lobby Indicator for SWFs. Who's with who, and everything of the sort.
- Add a % BP bonus to Killer (and solo survivors) for playing against/with SWFs.
- The Bonus scales with the amount of SWFs in the lobby.
- 2 SWFs and 2 Solos = 25% BP bonus to Killer and 50% to either Solo survivor.
- 2 groups of 2 SWFs = 50% BP bonus to Killer.
- 3 SWFs and 1 Solo = 75% BP bonus to Killer and 100% to the Solo survivor.
- 4 SWFs = 100% BP bonus to Killer.
That said. There will be dodging, in the beginning. No one wants to dodge lobby over and over again, so the dodging will only be noticable for 1-2 weeks, maybe 3-4 at the utter most, before Killers just start playing.. normally.

Killers get all sorts of perks that show exactly where survivors are, why can't Survivors have OoO? Balancing the game around SWF is ridiculous.
Because them knowing where the Killer is at all the time is a extremely powerful advantage?

Not everyone is on a 500/100 mbit/s fiber internet.
-
All my ideas (remove perk levels and make the 32k max bloodpoints per match non-category specific) have been added already to the list.
Although, reworking the BP offerings to be more streamlined (aka ignore categories) haven't been added yet. Made a thread about it a while back;

I'd think it'd be pretty cool. Might even buy him because he's such a fan requested Killer.

and the hachets are limited by hitboxes and hefty ready, cancel and reload times. thats not an excuse.
death slinger can 2 hit people faster than anyone else in the game he has stealth on top of this
You need to watch more Umbra gameplay playing Huntress. She can down a survivor in 4-5 seconds using the old hatchet - M1 combo. She's also accurate enough to down most survivors within 10 seconds, if she has clear line of sight of them.
On topic, Deathslinger has only 18 meters of range while Huntress have technically infinite range. The humming is justified on Huntress because of her global threat. Deathslinger cannot do ######### to survivors beyond 18 meters and cannot down anyone that he cannot reel in. If he needs his own version of the Lullaby, then he also needs a massive increase in lethality to compensate and I doubt anyone would approve of that.

I already reported him to PS (just got notified that they are checking into it)
Then you just block him, if that's possible, and let the moderators take care of it.

The problem with many perks, at least on the Survivor side, is that BHVR have made quite a few so good that they've been META since they were introduced.. even when some of them have suffered nerfs since. If BHVR was to actually rework them to be less META, they'd be in for a crap show since it'd be an outrage. That's never going to happen, since Survivors are the main revenue source. Happy customers are buying customers and it'd be ######### for any business to disrupt that money flow.
-
BHVR thought it'd be too powerful. That's why it also reduces crawl speed, which doesn't really matter since you're blinded anyway. Its not like you're going to crawl to anyone anyway. I've yet to see anyone use Knock-Out, even after its "buff".
-
No thanks. DbD isn't the game where the Killer should be able to do /dance and taunt Survivors. Survivors do need informational emotes because they're supposed to not have any other way of communicating with each-other.
And I know that Survivors can do their emote spamming to taunt the Killer, that's why I've always been for animation locking emotes.. so that Survivors cannot do anything until the emote ends.

4K Slug definitely feels worse. Just a waste of time for the survivors and even worse the killer is typically going out of their way to 4K slug for whatever reason.
At least with killer you can still get a decent amount of points when being genrushed.

slugging x4 survs is valid strategy... imagine all 4 survs are far away from hooks and could wiggle out
even if you slug all the survs for trolling I guess it is ok then
Jesus ######### Christ, people. The thread is from 2019. Stop necroing old threads.

Getting a player out of the game as fast as possible is the best way for Killers to apply this thing Survivors call "pressure".
Killers don't have to play fair to survivors because survivors would never play fair to Killers.

So basically making a less intense Overcharge baseline? It'd not mind it, to be honest.
-
Wouldn't mind seeing some buffs for Clown, to be honest.
I got a few suggestions I've seen from threads here on the forum and on Reddit that I really liked, like making the slow duration longer for survivors who stays in the cloud, making gassed survivors incapable of seeing the red stain and removing his vaulting/breaking sound (as he's the only one who has them).
-
Legacy is never coming back and BHVR are pretty pathetic for not restoring Legacy to those who lost them, back in the day.
-
That's weird. How come colorblind mode would give an unfair advantage when every single E-sport competitive multiplayer game out there all got colorblind mode.. and none of the pros use it?
Its an excuse created by BHVR to not have to put in extra work, making something that'd be positive for their game.
-
It just to be a similar bug once, back in the day. It'd suck if it had made a return.
-
Just pinging you two since this is important. Perhaps you can help?

Did anybody say that tunneling and camping should be bannable? Because they really should. Devs said it's "a killer tech", but how can be a tech if it's hurting you more then giving you anything back? If you tunnel and camp you are literally throwing away your gen defense, the only thing you wanna achieve is being toxic toward that person, therefore, it should be bannable 100%.
Nice necro, dude.
-
Second chance perks are just too good to not be used. Its a situation BHVR themselves have put themselves in and now they have the problem that they cannot do anything about it, as the survivors would get loud. BHVR doesn't like it when survivors get loud, as they're the main revenue source. They must remain happy and content.
-
How can BHVR keep failing the same thing over and over again? They need to invest money in hiring someone to fix things for them, as turning it off and on again clearly isn't working.
-
OoO should just be reworked to be less oppressive. It grants too much power. It even works against stealth killers to a certain extent, as its perk icon lights up if you're looking in their direction.. even if you cannot see their aura.
-
1) and 3) have both been suggested before and both of them I agree with. Makes sense to me that there should be two challenges active, because there's two sides of this game.
-
Its tradition. Every new map always have walls and areas where you cannot blink. You'd think BHVR would learn but that's clearly not the case.
-
@Momentosis said:
Deathslinger is one of the weaker killers. Why would he be nerfed?
His chase game is too strong, or so people claim.
-
There's more money in DLCs and cosmetics than adding more options for the game. Why do you think we still don't have Color Blindness mode? BHVR's lame excuse of "unfair advantages" don't hold up when the biggest E-sport games in the world have Color Blindness modes.
-
Juggernaut
Being a pawn for the Entity comes with certain benefits as pain now grant you power. Press [button] to charge forward a short distance, instantly breaking any downed Pallets or breakable Walls without losing momentum. Juggernaut comes with a 80 seconds cooldown that is reduced by 10/15/20% everytime you're stunned from any source (Pallets, DS etc). The charge deals no damage to survivors.
-
Extremely few. But once again, there's no point in spending money on that when there's plenty of cash to be made from cosmetics.

It's never been confirmed as to what would exactly come to the Store and on what date - hence saying a minimum of 6 months. I don't think anyone expected at that point to have been hit with a worldwide pandemic and have to spend most of 2020 working from home either.
We've all seen how many games have been put back through this year due to Covid, so I do think cosmetics not being placed into the store is a relatively minor issue for the time being.
The Covid-19 excuse is pretty weak here, man. Everything's digital. They don't even have to make a banner for the Rift skins, just add them to the store. They have the skins already existing in the game, available for those who grinded for them. Pushing a cosmetic to store has never been an issue before for BHVR. There's always excuses for things.
-
I think it'd make sense. It'd have to be pretty minimal, though. And without any audio.

In my example there was a survivor near the hook. You seem to ignore that, so you can push your narrative.

I still try, though.
A valiant but utterly futile attempt.

Why should the killer give a free unhook?
You cannot argue with these sort of people.
-
Nah, it isn't. Survivors don't care much for killers and killers shouldn't care for survivors.
There's no reason to be toxic but there's no reason to be kind either.
-
That's a big Nah, dude.
-
I'd not mind seeing Spine Chill getting a second or two of delay before the perk activates if the killer's looking at them. Like, the killer needs to actively looking at them for 1-2 seconds before it lights up. And to compensate, the perk remains active for 1-2 seconds after the killer stops looking at them.

Same. I'd like something sharp for him instead. Like a over-sized syringe, with a broken vial so it cannot be used to extract anything. Heck, I'd like a piece of sharp glass more than the cane.
-
It should just be called "Slowed".
-
To me, I think its so help motivate people to buy the Rift. The Fear of Missing Out is increasing now when people know it'll probably take upwards to half-a-year or a year for the cosmetics to finally hit the Store.

What is worse, them not responding or the change?
Actually it doesn't matter, both are awful. But they won't give a #########, all they care about is making money with as little effort as possible.
Less challenges means less development, less progress means more people might buy levels. More money for less work. An ideal situation for them.
Amen!

Not sure. I keep coming back inbetween breaks and burning myself out once more.. only to come back again. I hate the community and I honestly question a lot of things the developers do and prioritize. Game itself is addictive, so maybe that's it?
