I think perk tiers are actually really satisfying, so I'd rather maintain perk tiers but make perks spawn more widely in the bloodweb. Right now you can get 1 perk max per level up to level 40 and from level 40-50 you get 2 max. It'd be cool if more perks spawned in the bloodweb and/or if the entity didn't automatically eat a different perk when you buy a perk.
I'd still prefer it if we just removed perk levels to begin with. Its a relic that fit in the game 4 years ago.

You don't make things more fun and fair by making things worse.
If BHVR is gonna do anything Perk tier related, it should be removing perk levels/tiers altogether since we have so many gosh darn perks in the game and its a grinding hell trying to unlock all of them for a character.

How'd a killer that cannot move when someone's watching him work in Dead by Daylight?
-
How are they going to get you to buy a Rift Pass if there's actual good stuff in the free pass?
Personally, I feel like the plenty amount of "literally nothing" in the free side of the Rift makes me unwilling to wanna progress overall. Nothing like unlocking a new tier and get a boatload of nothing for your efforts.

If you got a 3k with only a single gold, it was probably a pretty short game. You got an end-game screen we can see to get a clue over the game itself?

I consider it bad. It can't be changed with different TR perks or add-ons, it has a cooldown without a legitimate reason aside from a very small progression bonus, and it only triggers on basic hits so it's limited to Killers who are limited to basic hits. As it is, it will never be considered a good perk in general.
If they removed the cooldown and made it a TR based perk then it would probably get more usage.
Removing the cooldown would be a first great step, if you ask me. Making the AoE scale with TR means a few killers cannot use it anymore, like Deathslinger or Hag due to their small TR.

The problem with OoO happen when a survivor can share everything they see and know with their friends, and there is no way (to my knowledge) to stop a SWF from chatting with each-other over Discord or Steam Voice Chat.

So this old man wants to know, what is OoO?
Object of Obsession. Makes it possible for survivor and killer to see each-other's auras over a massive distance.
-
The only thing that'll happen when grabs are removed is that survivors with BT will mindlessly throw themselves at hooks, because there's nothing the killer can do to stop them.

End Game Collapse exists to bring the match to an end. Nobody really wants 25 minute matches and the old hatch stand off was ridiculous. Plus you could have situations where a killer could bodyblock a survivor and keep them there indefinitely. EGC ended all that kind of stuff, thank god.
Precisely.
The sheer amount of threads and post mentioning that they had AFK'd for several hours because of a survivor/killer held the game hostage were pretty high back before it was implemented.

Hopefully.

A friend of mine uses DBD as a way to let off steam. He uses every dirty trick in the book: moris, tunneling, camping, etc. He doesn't care. During the event he would have matches where all four survivors would bring in a cake, and he would bring in an ebony mori. He had cakes to use too, and he wants bloodpoints just as much as the rest of us, but he doesn't care.
He plays the way he does because he's tired of the toxicity in swf matches. He's tired of people saying mean spirited things, teabagging, etc. He's tired of the toxicity, and as lousy of an experience that he creates for these survivors, I can't necessarily blame him. The broken matchmaking constantly pits him against people far more experienced than him, and these survivors can see that, but they're still jerks nonetheless so he plays dirty right back.
Hopefully the new MMR will help with this. Granted people can be jerks no matter what skill level they are, but some red rank survivors tend to value being a red rank more than actually having fun, and will do anything they can to be sure that they don't de-pip.
By playing this way, he creates more survivors who'll play like those he's trying to punish.. who will in turn play more scummy to punish killers like him. How did you think the toxicity in DbD got so bad? Everyone's trying to one-up each-other.

LOOOOOOOOL, lets now talk about human rights. You must be joking.
The killer is played by a human too, you know. With actual feelings and emotions. I guess it doesn't matter when the mob mentality kicks in.

I really do love this game and I intend to keep playing, I've just been distressed by the skill difference. They will probably continue to draw money out of me
Good for you.
I still wish people would stop spending their money on skins, cosmetics and the Rift.. so that the Developers see the need to improve their game to earn back the player favor. The game got issues and by doing changes like the one they pulled with Hillbilly (both nerfing his power unnecessarily and then giving him add-ons where some add-ons literally don't have anything to do with his power), they're not.. I dunno, listening?

Devs, you know you are losing new players by not addressing this right?
If the player buys a few DLCs and skins before they leave, I don't think they care too much. Its profit.

If we're going down this route we might as well implement SWF indicators to show who's in a group.

I leveled up Surge to try Archdruiddrey's regular Doctor build for myself (BBQ, STBFL, Iron Maiden, Surge) and I've grown to like it as a nice convenience perk. It's probably the most replaceable perk in the build, but not having to stop to kick a gen to make it regress can be useful, nonetheless. I take the slightly lower regression as a trade off for that convenience.
I also agree it's most effective on M1 dependent Killers like Legion or Doctor.
It only procs on normal m1 downs, so it is not suitable for a killer who can down with their power (Huntress, Hillbilly etc).

I don't know if you can turn it on anywhere but like, just the word motion blur makes me motion sick.

I've been here since launch, and while this is an unpopular fact, survivors* are responsible for the toxicity. It started with them, then killers responded in kind, and now we're here. Only the veterans like myself remember, for example, that killers didn't start leaving survivors to bleed out or take Agitation and Iron Grasp for shits and giggles, they did it because survivors sabotaged every hook on the map and made it nigh-impossible to hook them (sometimes just impossible, even with Agitation and Iron Grasp).
*#NotAllSurvivors, before someone points that out.
When survivors realized that they could remain indefinitely on maps and force killers to DC by abusing ultra-strong windows, popularly called "Infinites".. the toxicity started. When survivors realized that they held more power than the power role, they abused it.
-
The cooldown is the only thing holding it back, if you ask me. Its just way too long for the perk to be consistently useful.
-
I'd prefer Springtrap over Candyman, if anything. But.. its just Springtrap I'd want. The rest of the FNAF cast are.. lame.
-
Survivor but only because I find Killer to be such an infuriating and stressful experience. I'd love to play more Killer but I rarely feel like I am having fun.
