You can get maximum curve when using Q and E to steer, instead of mouse.
So if you just move your mouse very quickly, it won't have the same effect? What about using a joystick, like someone else mentioned?
-
Talk about first world problems... I mean, I agree it's annoying, but all you have to do is move your mouse a few cm to the side.
-
I don't get it, what does this do?

Except if you’re on console. Nurse on PS4 is not commonly played bc she’s so easily juked/ran around, yet so hard to maneuver. Mad respect to any console player that tries honestly.
Indeed. I only play on PC, so I was only thinking about PC.
-
Survivors respect and fear the Nurse, but not much else.

You should have to deal with it. Like an adult. In the real world, if someone is racist or homophobic, they get called out for it. Trying to hush it just makes cliques form and makes them feel like their hate is justified. Instead, mock the piss out of them. Make fun of them and point out how stupid they are. That is how you defeat zealots. That is why zealots try to shut down opposing viewpoints.
Btw, there is a difference between defending hate-speech and finding the concept of sheltering adults to be patronizing. I don't need a video game to defend my feelings for me.
This is a game, it's not a life lesson. People play this to relax; not to have to deal with #########.

Your BF needs to learn what a game is. If my BF did that to me, I'd definitely expect an apology the following day.

I hate the fact that hate-speech is a bannable offense in so many games and companies. Like they are supposed to make us feel cozy, clean, and safe. Trying to shelter us. I hate it. This game is rated M. Let us be adults. Adults are supposed to know how to handle hateful words.
That being said, yeah ######### that survivor. I hope they got tunneled hard in their next match.
I hate that people try to defend hate speech as if it's something that normal people engage in and that other people should have to deal with.

They're still similar characters. Just because we want Pennywise as a licensed DLC killer, doesn't mean that Pennywise would throw bottles of gas at survivors.
But Pennywise, according to the lore, is more akin to the Entity than it is to a killer.

Lol you must be a Naruto fan
No joke, dont need to be agressive, it is my point of view, the most toxics killers we have are often otakus, or russian. Once again its personnal, i know we cant generalise on this or this communities. There are good people and nasty one everywhere. I was just wondering if people feels the same, i guess no lol
And that was my point of view. Why are you being so defensive?

@HazeHound said:
@ClogWench Then read its desq carefully next time. Im 99% sure it does. Killer knowing there is ds in game will slug everyone after tunneling for couple of secs rendering perk useless. I'm happy that destroying first chase momentum is not possible but this perk is a joke now. And yes it is a nerf, well deserved actually, but too harsh.
I know for a fact it doesn't because I actually played the PTB.

Doesnt it increase your chance of beeing obsession on ptb?
No.
-
Disregarding the fact that you're making assumptions about what languages these people speak and conflating otakus with weeaboos, unless you check every single killer's profile, the only thing you can say is that many of the toxic killers you've encountered are what you've designated "otakus".
I won't even touch on what you think is toxicity.

It really doesn't promote avoiding camping and tunneling, since the reward has nothing to do with either of those things.
The BP reward only stacks on the first hook for each survivor, meaning that to get the full bonus, you have to hook everyone once. In other words, you have to go for different targets.
-
An end to looping. If I have to pick up Nurse again and break past my corn blindness, Entity help the survivors.
-
@scojer said:
I dislike Shroud of Separation. it sounds like a good idea, until you use it, find one survivor & chase them, then 3 gens pop simultaneously.
The thinking is that survivors will DC, so, at most, 2 gens will pop. So you run a slug build and GG EZ.
-
@ArrozName? For research purposes.
-
@HazeHound said:
I don't get this topic one bit. If they dc just because they see secret they would be easy prey anyway. If they don't dc everyone will start near different gen and you will get genrushed.
Makes no sense to ever burn it, exception beeing Myers.
If they don't DC, you can usually fake a failed Mori attempt, at which point they might DC. Sometimes they'll even DC just for putting them in the dying state.
-
@HavelmomDaS1 said:
Farm map offering is still stronger lol
Won't make survivors DC, though.

@Boss said:
If only "your Offering back" was a thing...
I don't mind burning the offering if it means I'll get into a 3v1 or even a 2v1. It's like a Mori you don't even have to work for, and you get to rid your trial of survivors who DC whenever they stub their toe. It's all upside.
-
@HavelmomDaS1 said:
Uhm you know that mori a survivor usually takes longer than just hooking? So why would anyone mori a survivor on death hook?
That's the point. It has nothing to do with balance, because the devs already took care of that. It's about making anything killers have that is even remotely good complete and utter garbage.
-
No.

Yes, it's worth your time, and yes, it works. Automated messages mean exactly jack squat, since it's easier to set up an automated system than it is to set up a team to review reports. I received such messages from Steam, despite the fact that no action was taken against the users.

Doesn’t really matter what they comment Bc at the end of the day I know 95% of r1 matches have ruin in them.
WHETHER YOU OR THEY FALL INTO THE 95% OR THE 5% IS NEITHER HERE NOR THERE TO ME BC STATISTICS SHOW OTHERWISE NO MATTER HOW MANY COMMENTS ARE 0-10. THUS I CAN ANSWER THE QUESTION WHICH IS HOW DEPENDENT ARE KILLERS ON RUIN? AND NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE SAY THE ANSWER IS 9.5 ON A SCALE OF 0-10. BC MATH

umm, ok...I don’t have any clue what your point is when one has to do with the other, but I’ll go with it.
Ebony moris are an absolute BS offering and should be changed, and green while not AS bad, is also crap. Is this better?
Perks have nothing to do with offerings. Perks are unlockables that have unlimited uses and grant players new abilities. Offerings are single-use items that change the way trials work by design.
Memento Moris as they are now are fine. They still require the killer to find, chase, down, hook, allow a rescue, find, chase, down, and then finally they can use it. When the game was released, they could be used at any time, without restrictions. Memento Moris add tension to the trial, which is something desperately missing on the survivor side.

@Karl_Childers said:

So that makes a mori fair?! Having DS at least gave people a chance against it, since it could extend your first chase. Now it’s just downed and hooked once, tunnel off hook, game over. It’s more OP than ever.
That's not what I said. Stop comparing perks to offerings.
-
@Karl_Childers said:
It is definitely ridiculous that DS is nerfed and this stays as is. It should definitely just be final hook, or if it stays available after being hooked once, then they need to add a way the survivor can possibly fight it off. It is completely unfair otherwise. So give the survivor a chance after first hook, whether it be a skill check or whatever, but on final hook it’s automatic.
Offerings are not perks.

Yeah you and a few others do have a point and the developers of the game Saw to it that you will eventually go down to a killer. No matter how bad they are eventually you will go down
Has for what's wrong with him do you think it's the add-ons like I do or the fact that people don't know how to properly play against him
I haven't really used many of the Legion's add-ons, particularly the ones people complain about, so I shall refrain from commenting about their add-ons.
I know for a fact that people haven't learned how to play against the Legion, because they DC a lot. How can you learn to play against anything if you won't play against it?

I am also questioning this. If ruin is so bad to the point that none uses it anymore... than why my last 20 matches at rank 1 had all killers with ruin? Gotta be honest, I was expecting a lot of more positive answers to ruin instead of a perk being deemed bad/good for bad players.
It's almost like the 20-30 replies in this thread aren't a representative sample of 95% of all trials at rank 1.

I’m not drawing conclusions from the comments, I’m drawing them from r1 experience. 95% of my matches have ruin on them. It’s always like,” no ruin?”, in pure shock when they don’t.
I just find it suspicious is all. If y’all can go no ruin good for y’all, it means you’re exceptionally good. I wasn’t directly pointing fingers at anyone, but if the shoe fits wear it on your head or whatever. It’s really not worth arguing about.
You are drawing them from the comments. You've implied everyone here is lying about which perks they use.

Swf doesnt counter bamboozle bbq and plenty of other perks . New CI perk for instance basically allows you to go against decent swf without bringing any crutch addons etc. Perks that gets countered by swf needs to be reworked . For example survivors cant interact with each other as long as hex is standing.
I was speaking in hyperbole. Regardless, if we were to use "SWF counters this" as a justification for removing things from the game, we wouldn't have a game.

@ToxicAddiction I don't get why you would want to play a multiplayer game with cheaters and attempt to shame someone for going through the hassle to report them. That person is attempting to clean up the game and help improve the game for everyone. Sometimes the community needs to help police itself.
People who do things they know they shouldn't would rather blame others for reporting them rather than blame themselves for doing the things they know they shouldn't. It's all about shifting blame and making themselves look like innocent victims.

@Eveline Mouse and keyboard isn’t compatible with DBD on console. You would have to buy this expensive USB around $60-$100 to format it.
That is absurd. Surely you can make the necessary adjustments on a computer.

I'd say it takes a strong will to keep going despite all the crap she went through.
Well, I consider She is due to various reasons, one of which being that, in French (the devs' native tongue), nouns have genders, and the French word for "Entity" is female.
-
It is indeed because they're full of hope and never give up. Apparently, taking someone from our world requires a decent amount of effort from the Entity, so She only takes those She deems a worthy meal.

Heh. Always the pessimist eh?
No, just a realist. We've seen it before where features that could be abused were abused, so why not this time? And why create an entirely new feature as opposed to just fixing the ones that are causing the issue in the first place?
-
Might be a way to try to scare off survivors. I mean, wouldn't you hesitate to activate a device if there was a bloody handprint on it? I know I would.

@Orion then all moris, map offerings and shrouds, or possibly all offerings should be secret. Or, alternatively (I think I'd go for this one): any player at the beginning of a trial could start a vote: if the majority of survivors plus the killer all vote "yes", game would end.
Not sure any of this is perfect, but I mean, you agree that 3-2-1- survivor games, even with reduced number of generators are a problem that needs to be addressed, don't you?
Giving this kind of vote to either side is a problem because, as I mentioned, SWF would abuse it if it were on the survivors alone, and killers would abuse it if it were on them alone.
Yes, I agree it's a problem, but it has a very real solution that only requires that the devs fix the features we currently have, as opposed to creating new ones that might introduce new bugs.
