Funny thing, hits like that started happening to me when crossplay was added, I mean probably it has nothing to do with it but yesterday I was on soffocation pit, you know where the god window is right? Well I used it once, and when I was about to go out of the door, I got hit from the window side, that is like 6-8 meters away.
I gave up, gave the kill.

No, if my teammates wanna be idiots and swarm my hook, then I'mma just say, "Have fun with your Barbeque, mind sharing the roasted limbs of my teammates."
But seriously, if someone says that's camping, they have half a braincell. This has happened to me during numerous occasions when I do solo queue, so I give the killer a gg when I die and go about my day.
3/4 accused me of camping, 1 was a crossplayer so he/she probably didn't knew about it, and it's not just about the accusation it's mostly because of the excessive use of....... Trying to belittle someone? I think that is the word.

@BabyDweetMain said:
Yes, it is camping. BUT it's camping that isn't your fault. You're essentially being forced to camp because of that moron looping you by hook. Survivors HATE other survivors who do that and I can't tell you how many times I've had to correct a survivor at the end of the game after they get me killed.
Now it would be nice and epic gamer of you to go after the looper and not tunnel the victim of the looper. Technically it wasn't the hooked persons fault and it's sorta cruel to not even let them fight to survive.
I did that, went for the looper and then when I downed him and hooked him, saw 1 behind a tree and heard one trying to stay behind me thinking that I couldn't hear her (it was a Feng so I call her a her), gave the recently hooked survivor a chance to refresh because she hit stage 2 at 5 gens.
@WheresTheGate said:
I guess you could call it camping, but if so it's camping caused by survivors. As a survivor main the overwhelming majority of my frustrations with this game have to do with other survivors. I sometimes feel like I'm playing against 4 people even as a survivor because I have to overcome the stupid and/or selfish play of the other 3 survivors while eluding the killer.
I really didn't knew that survivors also hated other survivors that play like that, I mean it makes sense.
@xenofon13 said:
Because the survivors looping around the hook, they're "survivor mains"?
No, I was asking to survivor mains if they think what happened to me was called camping or stupidity, most have answered that it is camping but caused by dumb survivors.

Let me ask you a counter-question. Are you still on the map? If so, then its camping.
Forgot about that lol nice answer.

Question in return. Why are you, the killer, not at all satisfied with taking an easy hook trade?
It progresses your objective further and can make survivors cautious about going for unhooks.
I try to be as fair as possible, and well if they do it is fine but they shouldn't be talking ######### to the killer if that was your team the one that messed everything up.
-
Sadly people don't get it, you understand it doesn't mean that people see it that way.
@SoylentPixie said:
No.
If the survivors keep swarming hooks while you haven't even moved 2 feet away, then they are fair game. We've asked for a 'kick in the face' option for these types of players because it is stupidly frustrating to see them do the lemming dance while I'm hanging up there and i feel no sympathy if they get downed in the pursuit of stupid plays.
I'm really surprised they haven't come up with something like that, I understand that people would troll with it but there are some players that prefer not to get farmed.

So Otzdarva got 50 wins in a row with the only conditions for winning be that he kills 3 people. The last person escaping through hatch doesn't matter. For consistency he isn't using any add-ons.
I know Otz has a ridiculous number of hours in the game. But if the guy can get 50 wins in a row with Legion of all people, against all sorts of survivors. SWF, Strong Items, the full array of Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, etc.
Maybe...just maybe killers are stronger than a lot of killer mains lead you to believe. I've heard the excuses of well those survivors were just potatoes, but Otz did like 100 games. I think just maybe...people need to stop blaming the game's balance so much when they lose the occasional game as killer. Because clearly at high levels, a killer can wreck if the person playing the killer is good. I think the biggest issue isn't really that the killer is just that much weaker than survivors. It's that the killer takes a lot more time to git gud than survivor.
Yet he just lost on the 20 streak for oni on a killer sided map.
I love watching him but there are also videos like the noob3 escapes, ussylis escapes, I believe ayrun has one as well not sure.
-
Who else remembers how long it took to fix surge + pop combo? No one? Just me?

This but just think it's oni.
Edit: based on a true story and no, I didn't make the meme, I stol........borrowed it.

Let's assume what you said is true, should it be that way? Shouldn't the hitbox stay on the survivor? I am mid air which means i was quite at a safe distance from the killer, even after medium vaulting i was far from them, i don't think it should've registered tbh !
It should but you are missing the point, in order to do something like that you have to take into consideration stuff like ping etc.
That is why I say my previous statement, try to learn how to fast from weird angles or you will get hit a lot like that.
Think of your hitbox as a square around your character, I'm not sure the exact number but when you vault your "box" goes from one side to the other, if you slow vault it will go really slow, when you mid vault your box will go slightly faster but still slow, when you fast vault your hitbox will go or should go at the same time as your character does.
-
I'm not trying to belittle one side but here is an example of a streamer/youtuber that helped me improve a lot but that also makes mistakes when playing killer.
Ussylis.
He is probably the best survivor main imo (the only survivor main that I watch so forgive me if I'm wrong)
He usually corrects what the killer is doing and saying what they are doing wrong.
Yet when he plays killer he makes worse mistakes than most players (forgive my english)
Most killers won't be able to play 100% amazing every time, bhvr doesn't need to balance against the best players but they need to cut some slack for killers, rarely I get a match where I can relax and just play normally but usually a single mistake will cost me meanwhile survivors have a few things up their sleeves to fix their mistakes.
-
I agree that it is an advantage to non colorblind people, I remember using colorblind options for pubg, it really helped a lot and made my life easier.
BUT it's not fair that real colorblind people have to suffer because people would abuse that.
-
When you medium vault your hitbox stays behind for longer time, if you would've fast vaulted it and still hit then I would say it's not working but since you medium vaulted then yeah, that is a hit.
-
Screw you, I won't think of anything but this now......
Psa: don't take it seriously just a joke.
-
DS had 2 counters until survivors started complaining, enduring was a counter and the trapper perk I forgot what it is called, the one that made skillchecks smaller.

I haven't seen a billy since before the nerf, I doubt I will see one soon and I don't plan to use him at all.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by I don't understand the issue around Legacy.
I know why it's exclusive I understand the reason why they don't want to give it out however personally I don't understand the massive amount of desire of wanting Legacy.
As I said the characters I main are either licensed or original but they came out after Legacy was a thing.
Survivors
Min
Cheryl
Yui
Killers
Amanda
Legion
Sexy Triangle Man
Demi Logorgon
so I have no real want of legacy
Probably I misunderstood lol sorry about that.
-
Like I usually say, you got bhvr'ed.
I like and at the same time I hate penalties, sometimes the game crashes or like what happened to you, someone else dcs and you get the penalty.
I don't think that is fair.
-
@Volfawott said:
Currently Legacy isn't the only exclusive locked to PC.
For example you have the death garden masks.
However considering they now have a redeem code function in the store for all platforms it is possible for them to distribute some of those exclusives.
Personally I can't really understand and the issue with Legacy but I guess that's probably because nobody I really play has it as they were released after Legacy was a thing.
I do however feel disappointed about the event cosmetics being given away now you didn't have to go out of your way to earn them but they were nice little badge that said hey I was playing a game around this time which isn't really the case now.
Voiced my opinion on exclusives before. I'm fine with time-based or event-based exclusives as long as every platform has access to them it's when you start locking things behind platforms that it starts becoming a problem
I lost my death garden mask, I had it a while ago, after a patch I don't anymore.
But I think the reason why people don't want legacy to be free when they had to go through the annoying old bloodwebs.

Just a random fact, they recently found out that console plays really bad, they forgot that they promised optimization a long time ago, I wanna say like 1 year ago.

Because according to them, Lithe is more used than DS.

I miss my blue lettuce hag costume, I have it on ps4 but not on pc and since console will never be optimized I will never see that costume again.

@OldHunterLight if you are looking at the ramp up to a hill, there are rocks on the right side. You can get stuck by walking close to the rock in multiple places. I have even gotten stuck on the hill near the top of the rock, close to the edge.

I've already gone over moonwalking doesn't actually help counter SC in my comment above.
Why do you assume that wanting a perk nerfed means you want another, actually balanced perk, to also be nerfed? You're making accusations with no reasoning behind them.
I never said that bbq should be nerfed, usually the people that complain about a perk a lot are the people who just want to win with no problems or without trying, so going by that I just felt like he was one of those people that say that bbq is op, I'm probably wrong but that is what I felt.

I Mean for Ghostface and michael though you have to look at them eventually which Those 2 are supposed to punish you for you not paying attention to your surroundings. Spinechill ruins the entire point.
Yeah, I get that Myers and ghostface get countered heavily by it, especially ghosty because people can break him out easily, I do agree that undetectable shouldn't be detected by SC, the name says it undetectable.
But you can play around it though it is harder since first you have to determine if they do have it or not then it's when you have to play around it.

So moonwalk to every gen? Seems like a realistic tactic
do people really believe this nonsense?
I mean if you can't it's on you not me and well I never said to moonwalk to every gen did I? It seems that you can't play around spine chill or know that certain killers can play around it like wraith, let me guess as well bbq is op to you?

I don't feel like making a killer one so.
Survivor: Oliver
Lore: the entity took me because of laziness (I'm on my phone and don't feel like typing everything)
Perk :You think this is it? - after recovering from exhaustion once you recover slightly faster next time, 2/4/6.
Do what you want - if no one is within 32m, you will get a speed boost on every action. Quote: "I just wanna go back to bed - Oliver"
Time out!! - if you are running and stop, your scratch marks disappear but the killer will get a notification as to where you are.
"Bruh I just need a smoke break"
Size :tall
-
I've been trying to get "from the void she kills", this is harder than adepts.....
I really have no issues with them, except the killers that I don't use as often.

examples of survivor entitlment
I see you in the right at this point but not if you complain about BT when you go after someone doin something stupid
Unless I have stbfl in which case if I'm getting body blocked I'll get the free stack.
I have no "real" problems against BT, I use it when I play survivor (console scarred me because there were too many real campers).
I may say it out loud like "freaking BT" but I will not complain at the end game chat.
This is something I really don't get from my fellow killer mains, if you manage to injured the unhooker, why not go for him instead of actually tunneling, and before someone says "for efficiency" I understand but later on you will realize that most likely they have DS.
To the actual thing that I quoted you, I always assume everyone has BT so I always try to go for the unhooker.
-
The only thing that I complain about BT is rushing unsafe unhooks and body blocking, other than that I know why BT is a good perk because of real campers.
If I wait out the 15 seconds I will be called a tunneler, if I go for the unhooker I will be called a camper, there is no win.
-
I'm guessing you still need double engravings right?
-
@RbLen said:
Its possible on Azarovs and Coldwin farm hills.
But you still need to hit bouncing spots? Or were they changed?
-
I think it's time dependant, I usually get instant queues at around 5-10 p.m central time, but after that it takes me a while like 5 min tops rank 2 atm.
-
Bruh..... Where were you when I switched to pc...... That change would've made my life easier.
Kudos to you.
-
Ummmm..... Whispers is not better at the lowest level, it is better on 32m.
But making it like you want to, would be too strong considering it's a base game perk.
If you know how to use current whispers with the version you want came up with, it would be just too much considering it is telling you how far they are.
You could make a cone to detect where someone is.

I'm most likely not gonna get any people its always killers mains who say they are bad at survivor or pull the 1v4 excuse.

I just know that slinger is strong but has no map pressure.

That's what I'm saying all these people claiming that counterplay wont hop into a custom @Rivyn still hasnt told me why he wont play with me and brushes it off as me being childish. Even hasnt even responded to my comments. Its white funny actually.
The only counter that has worked for me is begging to god the deathslinger is bad, technically it isn't a counter but that is the only thing I can say that works.
I hope you get to play against someone and hope that you find a real counter.
-
I also want to know the counter play, I can play him good enough but I can't play against him at all.
-
I like ghostface's stun sound, it's like "damn I hate this pallet"
-
I love it, probably one of my most used perks, if you know how to use it then it can be a real horror for survivors, it lets you know if someone is there and at endgame it's probably the strongest perk if there is only 1 survivor alive.
-
The thing is that deathslinger's power is really strong on a chase, you have to hope for a bad deathslinger.
If you get one that is really good you will get downed in a few seconds after the chase.

Nice people in DBD matches are like diamonds in the rough, it's rare, but they're there!🙂
Exactly, over the 2k hours I have I have met 2 guys that were really fun and kind.
-
The 4v1 aspect, I come from other pvp games, it is fun not having the upper hand and then making a good comeback.
I like the grinding system I used to speedrun grinding games (monster hunter) so I enjoy grinding bp and then spending them on perks items addons etc.
Sometimes you get to meet nice people (pretty rare but happens).

@wimlin said:
I guess I should expect no less as these message board are always like 98% pro killer, but I will say no one made any real argument for how its fair that a killer can see survivor items. Ours aren't even powerful comparably outside of key. Toolbox is a joke, medkit is ok i guess for a heal if you don'tt want to run self care. And you can't see for sure if its a mori before the match or I suspect all surviros would D/C every time a mori is played as that is the most unfair item in the game by far.
And you made an argument how? You only said that you got tunneled for bringing a key and you called the killer "what he was" so I'm expecting you told him ######### for using a mori on you.
If the killer wasn't able to see items then it would be more unfair, would you play as a hag against 4 flashlights? No, would you play against 4 maps as a trapper? No.
Toolboxes require thinking now, medkits are great especially if you are looping, I can tell you how many times I was able to loop more because I was able to heal while the killer mindgames himself.
Give me a real example as to why survivors seeing what items the killers are using (btw they are called addons) is fair.
If you had a lot of experience you can easily tell which addons they are using.
-
Keys = Mori , same side of the coin, both are unfair so when you bring a key expect to get tunneled and mori'ed that is how it always has been.
Also a Mori isn't an item, it's an offering you can see it before the match starts when it's loading.
