No fps drop for me but sometimes stutter, first time something like that happens to me.
-
I like the blight but there is only 1 thing I personally dislike which is no flick at all, I'm just trying to get the adept.
Map wise, I dislike that sanctum of wrath is basically a big deadzone, I saw around 4 pallets on one side and didn't went to the other (protecting a 3 gen just in case).
Oh also the new bugs, the one in badham, if you go through the house of pain on the side, there is a chance you will get stuck as the killer (not sure about survivor) I went twice, I got stuck twice.
-
For me it was the other way around, said that it was going to be 2 hours, it got downloaded in like 50 min.

Yeah me too but as vacuum pallets disappeared I aeen the abuse some killers got.
I wish there wasn't so much hate this forums would be a lot better.
The devs are doing pretty good but man you are right the deadzones are insane. I myself am an oni main and when the survivors are kinda forced to lay and die it gets boring .
Exactly, hopefully we get a fix for deadzones soon, it makes the game unfun for me as a killer, like there is no skill involved in just holding W and M1 when in range.
That is the reason why I tend to be "rude" here on the forums, there are nice people and there are bad ones, you can tell most of the time who is who.
-
Huh, no wonder people stayed really close to me when I played with dr.
Also when I was playing deathslinger, I assumed it was the power of M&A.
-
That is a nice build, but try getting nurse's calling with him, it's amazing and probably imo one of the strongest perks with him.
But anyways, best of luck mate!
-
So far, I haven't lost a pip even when using the blight, I only used him twice on the ptb and well, I think it's easier atm.

Oh I meant buffs not bugs my mistake.
I am as well the billy basekit nerf was just unneeded. I used to spam rev not fully but to make the chainsaw sound and a bit at the start of a pallet to bait the commit. It's way more punishing now.
I also go chainsaw only billy because it's fun and I dont go to m1 everyone. Skill Billy's were definitely and still are the most fun killers to verse to bad they are mostly extinct.
Current balance wise it's great. If this game didnt turn out like it did my survivor game would of never improved as it did and not as rapidly. I used to get carried by vacuum pallets.
I appreciate you being civil as well.
No worries lol I used to get carried by infinites, I was one of those "this killer player is so bad" yet all I did was vaulting the same window over and over again thinking it was skill to do that.
I wish people could be this civil when discussing, it would make life easier.
Anyways to the topic, the devs so far have been doing amazing work, I just want a few maps to not be deadzones, that is just sad like I main Oni and as you may know, the counter for him is either pre drop or go to a safe place, sadly there are barely any safe places now, pre dropping isn't a thing when the map has a big deadzone.

Its prob just be being a potato but I have a rly hard time tracking scratch Mark's on maps with lots of tall grass due to this
That is not being a potato bud, it happens, tall grass most of the time hide scratchmarks.

Did for a day, my shift button was not working at all, made me rage more than playing any game at all.

Ik definitely happy the game is balanced as it is. I'm happy they are giving killers the bugs they need to compete. I'm not happy with the neglect to survivors.
While azarovs is not completely dead the pallet spacing, decrease in pallet amount has made the map mediocre and pretty killer sided. Azarovs resting place and gas heaven are what comes to my mind.
Those maps are so bad gas heaven having barely any filler spawns and zero jungle gyms on the outside. It just makes me think of 2017.
I get survivors can he op but people gotta realize if they continue to get nerfs which a lot of survivors put up with even the toxic ones the player base will take a hit.
I may have misunderstood but what do you mean by "giving killers the bugs they need to compete".
I'm happy with called for nerfs not uncalled nerfs, hence why I hate most uncalled killer nerfs, especially billy, I don't care what people say "but I rarely overheat" yeah if you M1 as billy, I always use the chainsaw, I rarely use M1 as billy (small rant)
But yeah, the game is very balanced atm, I could suggest tweaks here and there to maps but I can't say anything about the current balance, I'm happy with it.
Edit: btw, I'm happy you were civil with this discussion.

Those are justified nerfs. But the point I'm makingnis they are just nerfing after nerfing after nerfing. They for one decreased the minimum pallet spawns for whatever reason that may be.
It just makes very little sense to keep nerfing survivors. Now we are at the point to where we are removing loops and adding unessecary unbreakable walls and a bandaid fix to infinites.
I 100% agree with you, removing any more would be a mistake.
Currently I still have the same mentality as before, been playing this game for far too long, while there might be others that started earlier than me.
I believe the game currently it's as balanced as it should go, if we get more survivor nerfs that weren't called for, the game will probably suffer a lot.
That is also something that I wonder why, some maps are deadzones, azarov comes to mind, I got the whole middle area dead, no pallets at all just the one around the pump, 1 inside the gas station and the one by the gen.

Well regardless, I don't think they are favouring any side here, BHVR is just really terrible at checking for bugs and fixing them in time.
If that is a thing, I would gladly take the L.

Ok so it was two years before the redemption ark. It was pathed 2.0 2018. Regardless of this fact you wre correct they took their sweet time before helping killers. While this is good they aren't giving survivors attention.
They fixed one bug for survivor quickly and now they care about survivors more despite the fact they have been getting nerfed for a good year +
The nerfs that you are talking about is what I mentioned earlier, unless there are other nerfs that I'm not aware.
Instaheals were busted against any m1 killer.
Toolbox needed nothing to do their job properly.
Infinites...... Yeah you had to leave them before especially with a 4.4 killer.
Sorry if I forgot other nerfs, again I really don't remember what else was nerfed if that was a thing.

Is that why they still haven't fixed bugs like the unhook movement bug which has been in the game since deathslinger or left the gamebreaking hill bug in the game for so long?
The bug that can be instantly removed after performing anything? Like touching a gen/self caring/getting into a locker etc?
Believe it or not, I thought that was fixed, it hasn't happened to me in a very long time.

You got that backwards huntress has large hitboxes because the devs dont know how to make them work without breaking them. Windows are latency . If the killer has good connection and the survivor does too dedicated hits wont happen.
Yes you are right the devs care more about killers right now. Its evident with our two recently reqorked maps. Badham having an absurd amount of breakable walls, short loops lack of loops. Shacks size was also decreased. Then you have yamaoka having just deadzones.
Right now sure they care more but it only took them about 3 years to balance stuff around and even then they still help survivors more but before you say "but toolboxes got nerfed, but DS now is bad, we don't have very fair instaheals and we don't have infinites anymore" anything like that, remember that it was needed.
I haven't played the updated maps, just the ptb version before they were live and even then, from the killer pov, scratchmarks were barely visible because of the high grass, and badham..... I still want to say that it's a decent map now but I hate the breakable doors, that is just my preference.
As far as I know we still have the audio bug and desync audio.
I 100% agree with you on the p2p topic, that would fix more stuff than dedicated servers.

Not sure what you’re trying to prove with that fictional pic....
If killers have bugs with their power it shouldn’t take a genius to figure out that there’s probably a lot more work involved to fix them, for example the bugs with Nurse tend to be collision issues with objects on maps which will take a lot more time & resources to fix compared to a bugged perk.
I honestly hope this gets fixed soon. 5s stun was more like 3s anyway due to the time it takes to get off the killer’s shoulder. Now you barely gain any distance.
Not proving anything, but it is what happened, Myers was bugged for a very long time and they never fix it, instead they told some players "go play another game" meanwhile when DS got bugged they instantly jumped out to fix it asap, they have their priorities since 4 players pay more than 1 player.
And yes it would be more expensive BUT it would help the life of the game more, it's like if I want to play nurse I have to hope I don't go to midwich because she is unplayable there.
Basically I just want to say that they have helped killers but they will help more survivors.

Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with all these dedicated hits through windows and no fix, huntress couldn't get hatchet hits up close and got fixed in less than three days.
So it is an us vs them.
Huntress is latency and the change of the hatchet's hitboxes, most dedicated window hits happen because of how hitboxes work.
It really isn't a us vs them, just saying facts, they care more for 1 side than the other.

It should be fixed within a week. This bug is actually gross you have no time to make distance. Also stop making it an us vs them conversation.
Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with nurse bugs and still no fix, DS didn't worked against doctor after the rework and got fixed in less than a week.
So it's not a us vs them it's just stating facts.
-
Probably a bug that will be fixed within a week considering it's for the survivor side.
-
I had the bbq tickets on my trapper.
-
Never had that bug, the only similar one I had was mid game my skillchecks disappeared, didn't had them at all for half the match, I have the vid on my ps4.
-
I usually play solo, I always use DS because of not trusting randoms bringing an obsession perk, but I run dumb perks trying to make them work.
Example like camaraderie, poised etc.
But my build always changes at least every two matches.
Try this, play for fun and not to win, this has helped me not care when I play survivor, I just use pebble to see if killers fall for it, and most of the time it does.
-
Inb4 the next bug is getting stuck in gens after they fix the hill bug.

I don't get toxic Fengs, I usually get Toxic Janes and Megs.
I use Feng and Dweet, I don't play toxic.

Keys most of the time, if I bring a mori I will be ######### talked because according to some survivors keys doesn't equal to moris.
I really don't dodge unless I see keys.

Worst perk imo is either deja vu or this is not happening.
Deja vu: I have eyes I can see where gens are.
This is not happening: I played a lot against old ruin on console, I don't need the 30% bigger skill check.

Thank you for being of one 3 people so far that actually read. The delay was an option he thought of so i may suggest that, if he doesn't want to do that and its as common as some people say, i may need to stop playing with him while he's streaming.
If you don't mind my opinion is just your friend the one that it's being looked not you, I just think that increasing the delay would be the best option, I mean I understand (my bro streams and I play with him) but since you said that you play for fun and not swf depip squad, I would just ignore, it is harder for your friend since the killer will know what he is doing and whatnot.
But I really can't come up with anything that would help both of you other than increasing the delay.

I feel you there, but not everyone feels like you do. I've gotten so much hate messages + streamers being jerks to me to the point where I gotta call them out on Twitter lol. Have you tried Red Herring? That perk is a lot of fun if you like pebble.
I don't have it unlocked yet, I moved a few months ago from console and now I'm on pc.
I'm sorry you are going through stuff like that, if you are on console I can understand 100% what you are going through with msgs, all I can say is turn them off, it's not worth having them on while playing this game.
-
As much as I hate to say this but I don't believe there is a rule that says that stream sniping is not allowed.
But yeah, increase the delay, if your friend has the TTV tag on his name, he is advertising himself/herself so I don't think there is anything that you guys can do.
I don't stream so I have no idea.
-
I'm not a survivor main, I'm a killer main that is playing survivor kinda a lot now because of not worrying.
I like not caring and doing stupid builds in red rank, recently I started using pebble and head on on almost every build, you'd be surprised seeing most killers fall for the pebble, that is what makes it fun for me, and challenging well, I rarely use exhaustion perks except head on but it is challenging when you have to rely on yourself more than in perks and since I mostly play solo I really don't care what my teammates are doing, I just want to outplay killers.

I wish good events were a thing again, I loved the bbq event which is probably the one I enjoyed the most.
Not to offend but the 4th year event was really damn bad if we consider it an event (I know that it is an anniversary).
The pestula petals thing was decent since it "forced" people to certain things in order to get X thing.
I too wish we got more community stuff, more things to do.
The rift imo is very lacky and in my opinion they can fill up the empty spaces on the free things (I do buy the pass and will probably continue to do) but that doesn't compare to real events.
Short story, I do want stuff like older events something to keep me hyped to play.
-
Interesting data, I hope you continue on updating it, I'm really interested in the outcome.
To the self care talk, I'm surprised people on a forum were kinda civil to the topic and not instantly starting insulting.
My opinion on SC, it isn't a bad perk but I have never seen someone use it correctly, when I play survivor I usually see survivors self caring when there are perks like sloppy, thana, dying light (I rarely see it) but considering sloppy is what? 20% slower? Then that is 40 seconds of not doing anything.
I haven't used self care in a very long time, I actually feel like trying if I can actually get a value from it instead of just using a brown medkit.
When I play killer and I see survivors self care, I just hit them once and let them go away, I have never seen a player with self care not full health whenever they have "spare time", I love when people use self care when I'm playing killer, I get 32 free seconds.
-
You see, people have this chain reaction, I will explain since I don't know the actual word.
If they are playing normally, no matter which side a killer and survivor whoever was playing fair will do or most likely will do something that offends the other side, most people will feel attacked and will not care for the other side, so in the next match they will do something toxic to another fair player, that fair player will not play fair next match because of what happened the last match.
The cycle of toxicity will continue until the end of times.
-
Mods/devs need to close down this thread, this build is too much and shouldn't be shared.......
Thanks to you I will have to use mindbreaker....... BUT since I know nothing will happen, if you add head on instead of adrenaline the build is better or slightly better.
-
Weird, I used to love getting hatemail in games like dark souls, I got bored of hatemail in dbd in like 10 matches when I started playing this game.

I get why you dc'd but a double pallet means there is only 4 other pallets on the map. A double pallet is a result of the game not reaching the minimum and forcing a spawn.
Yeah but seeing double pallets like that again is a big nope for me, the only thing that was different is vaccum, since that is not a thing anymore.

I tried "weareworkingonafix" didn't do anything and I also tried "playanothergame" didn't as well.

As survivor I've been rocking pebble for a few weeks and plunders + ace.

It really depends, I usually get 2-3 console and 1 pc, or sometimes full console.
But most of the time it's mostly against console.
