Omg this so cool too. I must try this . Thx alot for the idea
No problem, i started to look into it, because undetectable can be freaking strong on certain killers.
-
It's a really good synergy. I also thought about using it on trapper and setting up the gen after kicking it.
-
It's mostly an adjustment, because consistency.

PH is one of my mains and I don't see what are you guys complaining about. It is always so much more fun using POTD and getting the survivor at an unexpectable angle than it is to just fake it and using a normal M1. Besides the fact that faking his power is not a very efficient way to use it because it takes too much time.
Now that he has a smaller cooldown for using POTD it also allows him to catch quicker a survivor that he hits with it, so I'd say that was actually a nice buff to his chase. He now also has a higher skill cap and playing with him will be much more fun. My only wish is that they increased its range a bit (maybe to 12m) so it has more usage with Undectable builds.
This!
-
If you're really good as killer you will mostly kill people. There are some SWF that like to play M1 Simulator for some reason tho.
-
Imbalance at the highest ranks. But you simply can't buff killers too much or solo survivor will fully extinct.
-
Prayer Beads got a counter that's still quite strong rn. "Spine Chill".
But spirit was a bit overtuned, so i don't really care they nerfed it.

The devs are literally making a perk better at slowing down gens and yet people still complain.
I honestly don't understand these forums anymore.
Just wait and see. Even if they only increase it by 2% then it's still really good on Plague and also Legion.
I mean 20% overall still doesn't sound that good. 32%, 8% per survivor. Now were talking.
-
There will always be scumbags. I started maining nurse after i only faced red ranks in green. Sadly she's not an option for me anymore.
-
I think buffing WGLF is gonna hurt no one. It's just nice.

Don’t ever become President.
I think they covered the big red american one with a glass cap so the orange wouldn't press it if it's angry.

Spine Chill doesn't have a cooldown and helps in a chase. Just saying.
That's why people called it op i think. I personally got no problem with SC.

@PigMainClaudette said:
Spine Chill - agree on Oblivious, disagree on Undetectable. It is currently the only perk that really keeps stealth killers in check. I do also have a disagreement with Oblivious on the basis of Freddy's Dream World, but that has issues with a lot of perks.
(premonition)
Nobody used it, but it's there.

@BigTimeGamer said:
People are complaining about pop, but 45sec is perfectly. You all act like you can't plan on how you want to use it before committing to a chase, or seem like you are a Freddy player who mindlessly pops gens and holds W at loops.
These changes across the board give me hope, they are removing the needless cooldowns and limits that bog down soo many perks
*hopes in surge*
-
I like to push buttons, i'm a simple mind. So i just Prestige whenever i can lol.
-
If they buff it to 10% per survivor it's a serious buff to legion. If not, it's just BHVR things.

@Cancan71 said:
I don't see why there's a penalty. The people who will be using this perk are people who miss skill checks a lot. This perk will have a negative impact on the entire team. Normal regression is already applied so I don't see why they feel the need to add the penalty. I thought they learned their lesson on being too cautious from Trails of Torment.
Basically this. Just let people use this perk until they are experienced enough, but don't give em a penalty.

Because deep downs devs are survivor mains and they hate people who main killer in DBD, thats why they're always plotting against you guys... That's what you wanted to hear?
On a serious note DS has already been nerfed twice due to killers complaints and guess what... They are still not satisfied with it so yeah.
But i agree Pop did not need a nerf at all.
Welp, if DS ate two nerfs and is still meta af, imagine how it was at release. I played against four hook states for a pretty long time.
-
Dunno about the PH changes. If it limits just as much as demo or huntress he can bait just fine.

So suddenly a working Dead Hard would be too strong? When it worked perfectly before Dedicated Servers?
Dead Hard were meta and borderline op for ages. There were just more broken ######### like old nurse before.
-
The weakness of this build is ruin. Without ruin you easentially got BBQ.

If it didn't work against Undetectable, I'd be perfectly happy with it. As it stands, it makes weaker killers much much worse.
It's discussable. On the one side do we got premonition as counter to stealth, but on the other side killers like GF or Wraith could become oppressive very fast.

Nice.
Welp its better than my solution: impliment "KWF".
Allow 4 players to queue as 1 killer - THEY ALL GET TO CONTROL HIM. The power of 4 minds, harnessed by 1 body. What could possibly go wrong?
Everyone controls one part of his kit. One his power, one his movement, one his M1 and one his FOV.
-
Yeah killer addons that enable aura reading are comparable to keys and moris...yeah...
-
There should be more perks like spine chill that buff a certain part of your kit while also giving valuable information at the right time AND still be counter able if the killer takes the right guess.
Better than: "Hey i just unhooked myself and got four protection layers around me, GG EZ."
-
BT as a perk is kinda problematic regarding EGC and bodyblocking. I think it's kinda dumb anyway that the devs still create perks that use the endurance status effect.

I hope they fix their bugs because of the tome. Many people will Start to complain.

People use Iron Maiden?
I use it with BBQ occasionally.
-
It would motivate me to use the addons more, if they would give additional BP at the end of a trial.
-
Or just play nice when you feel like it. And like a piece of tortilla if you like it.
-
Yeah, stacking of second chances is a problem, although many people don't like to admit it.
-
SF+Enduring is pretty nuts on legion.
-
I literally stopped using the ruin+tinkerer combination after undying got released. It not made this build more consistent, it also highered the usage of perks like "Detectives Hunch" and "Small Game".
At the moment i usually only use haunted or thrill.

Yup. And then they complain
Because i tunneled. As if nothing literally forced me to do it.
-
Trust me, the first chase is the only chase you will get against me playing OoO. I got many really toxic and annoying and/or sweaty SWF teams that abused this perk.
So if i get you on a hook you either never leave it or get slugged after leaving it just to make sure you get on a hook 60 seconds later.
I basically just mirror the fun i have being OoO.

When I first started playing this game my build used only ToTH and Haunted grounds as hex perks. This worked
So true!

Try running it without other totems. It's big brain trust me.

Massive debuff for any Blight with good reactions. Too often you're going to end up looking where you don't want to look. I'm glad it isn't base kit like I saw so many people claimed it should be in his first week, or Blight would be unplayable.

Not really, you're comparing a literal physical interaction with real consequences to a fantasy interaction with little to no real consequence. The motivation may be similar, to ruin some else's day, but that doesn't mean its an equivalent analogy.
Given the rather consequence free environment of the internet, bad, childish, salty, trolling, abusive etc etc players can only really ruin your time if you let them. Yes they are crappy people, yes I'd rather not game with them, but the last thing I'd do is get upset about it, its a game. It was a crappy evening last night online and I though "well that's enough of that" and played boardgames instead.
I'm not saying toughen up or anything like that we all get ######### at things, and emotional pain is just as valid as physical pain, but sometimes you gotta put it in perspective, it's hardly akin to a punch in the face and really shouldn't be.
That's true!

I’ve repeatedly explained how Blood Favour is fair and balanced as a hex perk and also having a cooldown, with additional stalling benefits BECAUSE it is a hex, but 100% killer mains don’t want to hear it.
Their main insinuation is unless it blocks all pallets, all the time, so that survivors can NEVER use a pallet, then it’s an unbalanced perk.
Accepting other opinion is also part of being neutral.
So you think Blood favour is good although it's a hex with a cooldown that can simply be countered by holding W. Fair enough.
-
There are some delusional survivor mains that think being able to 1v1 a killer means he's balanced. It's obviously bs, but hey.
-
I prefer blight because he got more interactive chase potential imo.

Because it's awful, survivors spend 90% of their game on generators, forcing them to look at gens for 90% of the game sounds absolutely ridiculous.
Especially because "Spine Chill", a perk that's somewhat meta anyway, would become a requirement.

Right. But BHVR wants to defend their functionality by saying they aren't hooks; yet it alerts the killer just the same when a survivor is rescued from one - clearly allowing and encouraging tunneling without DS being usable.
You do realise that they already nerfed the cages? No of course not, because you were too busy using the same four second chances over and over again.

One is an action causing bodily harm. The other is models on a screen going up and down and clicking sound lmao
This is difficult to understand for people that never experienced it, but still a pretty accurate comparison.
Nothing to do with SWF, more with toxicity.
