I honestly feel like they do that to keep the survivor que shorter. To incentivize people to play killer . I'm a survivor main, 75% of the time so it sucks. XD\
Important to notify that this is specifically for prime hours (evening/night) as the survivors queues are already very short the rest of the day. Kinda feels unfair for killer players playing during daytime.

The devs should get rid of useless offerings/items (looking at you green key) OR add an ingame BP shop in which we can trade offerings/items we don't need for BP....
Green keys are not useless at all (unless you get one from chest).

Spirit's not really that great anymore without her top addons, but yeah, Nurse and Blight get to eat well when they're perfectly capable of mass murder addonless. On the other hand, you've got killers like Freddy that have absolutely nothing going for them with or without addons.
Yes she is. Directional sound is irrelevant 80% of the time.

Here's an even better suggestion; Revert the perk to how it was. Nobody was complaining about IW.

Even worse than Hoarder?
Hoarder has never even been close to be the worst perk in the game.

They supposedly are fixing Claire's face soon.

BHVR devs are never honest.

But that's got its own problems. The huge level 50 bloodwebs have tons of goodies in them, where the early webs are mostly low-level clutter and you don't start regularly seeing high-level items until maybe level 25. It's fine for some killers like Demo, Ghostface, or Hag, but typically, most killers and all survivors don't want an abundance of browns and yellows. You figure there's lots of reagents, shrouds, bloodpoint single category modifiers, and basement/hatch offerings in that area, and those are all very unwanted items.
The perk grind's been improved, but addon/item sustainability has gone way down with this. I can't really see this as good for anyone who already had most or all of their perks unlocked. Adding in the loss of bloodpoint-booster perks and the flat cost for forced prestige and the new prestige system isn't really looking as promising as I thought it would be.
? Demo has great iri addons and Hag best addons are green/purple. Anyway, the addon grind (which always was the most problematic one) seemingly is about to get even worse indeed. This mid chapter update truly is looking grim in every way.
-
No nerfed killer perk will still be effective post update besides NOED. Which, amusingly, is the only perk that whiny survivors actually widely complained about.
-
So in the last month to stop this 'anti-game system' the devs added 5 boxes to remove the traps (this was the BEST solution btw) but this was an indirect nerf to Pig
No it was not.

Oh indeed. Alright then.

that's just a shinier glitter in the "choose the character" menu.
NOTHING ELSE.
That's so bad.
And it literally looks like piss... I really hope we can disable it.

Each tier counts as a "perk". it says so right here...

I wonder who is worse: Billy vs Twins vs Deathslinger.
Billy can be fun, so probably either Twins or Deathslinger. Both hurts you when you play them.
I have no issue with Twins and they're a top tier killer so yeah, I don't get the complaint here. Is it because of that irrelevant Victor cooldown thingy?
-
2 basic and plausible buffs that would be nice to see; Removing that long ass animation cooldown whenever you tap right click for even a millisecond while you are manifested and removing that slight movement speed decrease when manifesting.
-
Myers' two best addons aren't even iridescent.

Otz faced your typical standard baby survivors. Just like the rest of us 🤷
No. Not all killers are viable against good survivors. They're just not.
Is that how you cope with your lack of skill?
-
The thing is, I don't even think Ruin auto destroys itself after a survivor dies, it just snuffs itself out. Meaning that it won't even have Pentimento synergy. That's how hilariously bad Ruin is now.
-
Clown still has one the best add-on sets in the game. Stop whining.

i see it a bit differently. High MMR 10%
Definitely even more than that. It's too easy to reach high MMR in this game, especially on killer.
-
To remind us that they have no idea how to balance their game.

I Actually think the only real problem is the damm house. 3 god winds 3!!! you can legit create an infinite
No, it's not the only problem. Yes the main building is absurd but a map this big shouldn't have this many safe pallets either.

A quick tip with flans. The Entity will always spawn on a perk, so if you have a flan that's on the edges of the bloodweb and you're worried it'll get eaten, you should buy the two nodes that lead up to that flan, then turn around and buy your way to a perk. The flan won't be the one selected by the Entity (unless it's a low level bloodweb and there's no other perks) and you can buy it next.
But yeah, F, that's unlucky.
This has nothing to do with luck.

Make Kindred, Bond and Windows of Opportunity basekit. Then rework this perks.
Thank God you don't work for BHVR.

No offense but you likely are bottom MMR.

Freddy, Clown, and Trapper say hi.
? Legion is not close to be the weakest but Clown even moreso. Even Freddy arguably is slightly stronger.

Basic attacks after blinking are now special attacks + need to hit a survivor thrice to down them.

Thats just the result of a perfect storm. It's 50% the event 25% new chapter and 25% upcoming changes. Who knows how many will stay after the events over but i predict a huge drop off because of burn out. maybe 25% of the gain stays thats my guess
More like 90% the event.

Oh, puh-lease.
If you think Nemesis was "done dirty", imagine how us Robert Englund fans feel knowing we have Wish dot com Freddy in this game?
Fred was done dirtier but Nemesis in DBD definitely is less flashy than what we could have excepted. Not to mention that we likely may never get the real Nemesis design which was a lot more different than 2010 Freddy is to the original.
-
DH, That's about it, really. There's no a single buffed perk that makes me go "damn, I can't wait to try it out".
-
If it's an indoor map (that isn't Midwich) then I'm still hopeful.
-
It's icons, dude. They gotta need at least one more year to implement something this revolutionary and complex.
-
I don't think they ever talked about how nonsensical and unwanted their chat filter is, no. They definitely know about it though.

It's nice to finally see someone who shares the same opinion as me!
Re7 is also my favorite in the franchise, and Jack is one of my favorite villains of all time. I was so crushed (but not that surprised) when they revealed the first Re killer would be Nemesis, and now I'm doubly crushed (and outright confused) that they picked Wesker as the second Re killer.
There's nothing confusing about the two most icon enemies from the real Resident Evil games being favored over some literal who.

@Shroompy said:
A single perk aint the cure to campin
The nerf was justified, it was a perk that did literally everything
You clearly don't play killer if you think being a Scourge Hook wasn't a big enough downside already.
-
Nothing about the Ruin changes make sense. It feels like they decided to redesign that perk purely for the sake of casual players playing DBD a few days per season.
-
@Brimp said:
Well meta is usually mostly made up of strong/op perks so.... But yeah idk why stuff like pop and ruin needed to be butchered as its just better to use pain resonance over pop now. And ruin just isn't worth a hex slot now cause its really not that powerful with base regression.
? PR does not replace Pop at all. In fact they generally are paired together...

In that case, Nurse's base-kit should be fine
Well, yeah. Still a slight buff to a killer that needs a major toning down...
-
How much is Behaviour paying you?
-
Rebecca, Ada and Wesker are perfect choices imo. They always could make a third chapter for the nu-RE games and have Dimitrescu as killer or whatever.
-
Or they could just bring it back to 100%. Iron Will was for many people -including myself- a huge QoL improvement. A lot of people find the constant grunting of their character to be unbearably annoying, we just don't wanna hear it.
-
Overused? I guess it is in lower MMR. I rarely ever see it anymore since half a year now. Ruin barely counts as a meta perk anymore which makes this overdone nerf look even more unnecessary. Being a Hex is by itself a huge downside already. Dunno how BHVR doesn't realize it still.
-
They seem to be doing Bloodhunts more frequently nowadays so there's that. Also, hoard as much flans as you can and you should be fine until 7th anniversary.
-
great for killers
Not really, no.
-
Nice try, BHVR employee.

Man the “we fear change” crowd is working in overdrive tonight.
I’d say much of what’s being changed is interesting and we’ll have to see how much it shakes things up.
When the change is this bland then yeah it is fearworthy. Also, noticed how the only noteworthy killer perk buffs are the slowdown ones? The meta is still gonna be full of gen regression perks but boring as hell ones instead (Overcharge, Brine, Surge etc). Every single of my "I fear change" predictions came true and I'm disheartened (but not surprised) about it.

@Shaped said:
I don't see why disabling it while exhausted was neccessary, it just kills the perk for me.
The 75% is what kills it. If they only keep the Exhausted part then it still can be viable.

Otzdarva rarely has correct takes so what's your point?
