1) Nurse and Blight base kit is fine. Don't change it, however I would change one thing about Nurse - her blink attacks are special attacks. That's it.
2) Nerf their good addons.
Done.
Basekit Nurse is not fine at all.

Definitely one of the worst parts of this update. Even on the evening killer queues are atrocious. Also, playing killer has never been a miserable experience if you were of above average skill. Survivors are just acting like entitled babies right now.

With this new Prove Thyself + Sprint Burst meta Discordance became a S tier perk even better than new Corrupt Intervention imo.
Don't know about your lobbies but in my lobbies I just keep seeing group of survivors with 3/4 Prove and others gens perks before the patch I used to see at least 1 Prove thyself on one survivor not 3/4 survivors with Prove all SoloQ Enjoyers are running Prove because of the increased 10 seconds on gens.
Discordance was already a decent perk now it's a must have in this new meta imagine you're playing a slow 110 killer like Huntress or Deathslinger and you go to a map like Mother's Dwelling you can't afford to waste time looking for survivors you need to start your first chase ASAP and being able to pressure 2 survivors early is always great.
Tinkerer used to be the best info perk in the game but after it got nerfed I think Discordance might become the best info perk in the game no reason to run Lethal Pursuer if you have Discordance.
anyways yeah run Discordance in all your killer builds trust me you'll get insane info from it.
Discordance has been a mediocre perk for most of its existence and still is.

Have you seen Eyries and Garden? Clearly, map designs are meant to favour survivors. It's just how it is.

They have stated they are changing it at some point so dont worry.

It's fine for me, usually it's when I end up on different servers but I dont care enough to back out. When hit validation first came out it was dreadful on both sides for me, now it's much better
It's definitely not fine. I and several streamers I saw keep getting the "exhausted on the ground" thing again.
-
I don't understand why they got rid of hit validation.

Why not run Dragons grip instead of eruption? You get a notification if someone taps it and you can also punish them for it.
Two completely different perks with two different purposes.

She's never been a particularly popular killer.

We have dozens of threads on this exact subject.

I've seen a lot more of sprint burst and lithe. Prove Thyself is rearing it's head more frequently too.
Borrowed, circle of healing, adrenaline, unbreakable are still meta.
PT has always been meta. It's just boring and normal gen speeds used to be deemed fast enough without it.

At least they know this issue and promised to fix. When? "Soon" i guess.
The fact that we had to spoonfeed them this issue after PTB is pathetic.

There are many other combos that can be even more painful and worse. However the Killer comits therefore the majority of his loadout which means the killer will most likely dont have other strong perks that could also give alot of value.
No there aren't. No combo is as reliable and consistent as this one. Wouldn't say it's nerf-worthy still though. Killer perks are not the problem.
-
They always were. In pubs, that is.

Nurse has strongest power on game and she does not has to work for it so why should oni has to work for his power.
Because Nurse is getting significant nerfs soon. Trust.

The survivors prob were really bad as well then.

Love the 4 slowdowns. Killer is hard.
Technically Surveillance is an information perk, not a slowdown one.
-
It's probably not working correctly yet. In true BHVR's fashion.
-
Deceitful survivor-only player detected. Survs have always been in higher demand than killers at this timeslot.
-
Glad they went Warhammer instead of Female for Spirit.
-
Prestiging in current system is honestly never worth it. Getting all the perks you need one by one will be fast and easy in the new bloodweb system.

Against randoms everything is a powerhouse though. In fact, if you're a somewhat experienced killer and you don't stomp 99% of the matches, you really must be doing something wrong.
Against SWF, if they're good and know what to do, Twins' power considerably decreases. But that's every killer.
Fyi, Twins are the 4th most used killer in competitive DBD tournaments.

Pig will be fine now after the update. But they should look at them addons perhaps.
They already did, 10 months ago...

There's several perks that deserved their nerf less than SC. I still hope that a new vaulting speed perk is coming.

He's not weak, 98% of people using him are.

Her power is fine what trips people up are the addon nurses. I have escaped plenty of times from a nurse and have minor issues with it. It all depends on if they use addons like that or are a pure sweaty or GodTier Nurse. It's not hard to do when you actually know how her Blink works and interacts with the environment.
Her power is not fine. Nurse is not a DBD character, has never been. If they want to keep her that way then fine (in fact, I'm totally okay with it, it makes her very unique) but she needs some actual drawbacks to keep her in check. She's been trivializing the entire rest of the killer cast for almost six years now, it's time for an actual revision.

As I said, in-universe Wesker is very important, but outside of it? I 100% disagree. I'll tell you, before I got into Re, I had absolutely no clue who Wesker was; I had never even heard of him. If anything, I was told to avoid Re5 and 6 (especially 6) because they weren't nearly as good as the rest of the games in the franchise. I had primarily heard people talk about Mr. X, Nemesis, and Jack Baker. (More so the first two).
Also, him being "iconic" doesn't fix that I think he doesn't fit in DbD from an aesthetic, lore, or design standpoint.
So you're a RE2R gen Z baby who didn't know anything about the franchise beforehand. Got it. If you were around on the Internet in the late 00s/early 10s you definitely would have heard about RE5 Wesker.
-
Disappointing although not as much as I expected so yay I guess? Most nerfed killer perks and IW are still unplayable and the new meta for killer is looking really mundane but at least they toned down most of the overtuned survivor buffs and revised the grind a bit. On that note, I hope that this bloodweb addon rarity revision will be out by the time Wesker comes out because I sure ain't gonna spend one penny into killer bloodwebs until then.

The thing the decreased the grind is how prestiging now unlocks that characters perks for everyone else. If you prestige say nurse once, all killers will have tier one strider, thana and NC unlocked. If you p3 hag, all killers will have tier 3 ruin.
95+% of the survivor playerbase only plays (and therefore invests in) one or two survivors. Maybe three at best. This new system doesn't benefit them at all. Same thing for people playing only a few different killers.
-
Bloodweb addon rarity being reworked in a future update now proves that it was a complete oversight on their part, what a joke this company always is. Also lol at Calm Spirit still getting nerfed for no reason.
-
He's right but that's not exactly a hot take, it's been a widespread opinion for many months now. More and more people are realizing that the "Nurse is hard" take is simply fallacious. Also, how pathetic do you have to be to consider the opinion of a streamer inherently more worthwhile than any other. Fanboys are such a sad sight.

Just give it time. People will realize how low BP gains are without BBQ and then they will flip a table. People complain that no one wants to play killer. I don't think cutting the BPs in half is going to incentivize people to play killer more. Literally no one is going to care about a tiny 25% matchmaking incentive. You get that from certain offerings that are relatively common. All they'll think about is how they could have had more with BBQ.
BBQ not giving more BPs anymore is the not problem. The whole incoming bloodweb rework is.
-
Because he uses a chainsaw so he MUST have the overheat system.

inexperience... obviously they never got hit with blood warden unless they just open it to leave immediately.
If anything, it's inexperienced players who expect BW.

What's the point of dcing when you gonna die extremely quickly anyway?
Some survivors think they are accomplishing something by denying the killer a hook.

@ZVom said:
I literally am amazed and shocked WHY people bring stupid 5Ok tax as a problem. It is NOTHING compared to BBQ and WGLF removal. NOTHING!
Removal or BBQ and WGLF bonus is going to make everything much much worse than any 5Ok tax. Of course, combining 5Ok and BBQ/WGLF removal brings entire grind into whole another level, but BBQ/WGLF is the main problem, not 50k tax.
Nah, BBQ/WGLF BP removal is fine. Well, it would be fine if it was accompanied by an intelligent bloodweb rework. Which is not the case.

You have looked into the new version of monstrous shrine coming right?
Yes I did, unlike you.
-
You don't know what facecamping is if you believe Monstrous Shrine will synergize with it.
-
It's just perks.
-
I mean, just by looking at Garden of Joy and Eyrie it is pretty clear that they do not have enough (if any) competent people on that department anymore and that their current mindset is to have maps being as survivor-favored as possible.
-
Yes. Or at least when getting in ADS. I'm fine with the recovery cooldown staying at it is and it still would prevent all the ADS spams that BHVR hated.
-
Nobody asked.

Gives them headaches.

hey, at least the perk is going on par with other hex perks, hex:lullaby, third seal, blood favor, thrill of hunt, hex crowd control, hex:retribution, look at all these game-changing hex perks that nobody uses.
Retribution is actually a decent perk in hex builds.

Female survivors are significantly more used than male ones. That's why.

Did you forget giddeon the pallet packing plant?
It's not too bad of a map when considering alot of the other maps tbh, some setup rngs are bad for sure (far right corner from the building you can have a gym window into a car with pallet into a fence window)
The Game can be okayish depending on the killer you're using. Garden of Joy, on the other hand, is always a miserable experience for killer. It's actually insane how they learnt absolutely nothing through the years when it comes to map design.
