Getting tunneled is the best part. You get to loop the killer for an entire game.
Frickin hard agree there. I love getting tunneled.

Use Spies From the Shadows. it's the best detection perk in the game, because Survivors ignore crows, never run Calm Spirit and often don't know it exists because they never see it and usually they don't play Killer at all.
Yeah I've always thought it was a sort of underrated perk but it's also coin toss sometimes it can be really helpful on some maps and on others not so much.
What other perks do you run with it and on what killer?

In terms of builds, this is what I've been running lately on her and it's pretty fun. Plaything and Pentimento are a great combo and paired with Retribution makes it even more fun. Also I just love the Scourge Hook. Add ons, I usually put on whatever but I like the charge speed add ons the best along with speed or recovery. Haven't been using the new add ons she got lately.
In terms of skins, this one in the photo is the one I've been using exclusively lately. I really love it. Honestly, I think it's mainly her head piece that I'm digging, not sure why, but I just adore it.
Oh very very unique build, if I get less busy/break out of my burn out period with the game I'm definitely going to try this out. I'm saving it for later! You got a build u run for BP events on her?
I'm surprised u don't mix and match cosmetics!

Nemesis
Huge fan of the Resident Evil series, used to be a Myers main it's what I got the game for years ago but I mained him for a year then kinda shortly mained half the cast here and there, when nemmy came out hard mained him and I've been away and not played for awhile and I come back and apparently alot of people hate him now? Haha oh well.
Honestly probably not alot. Like probably give or take 100 hrs...considerably less than my other killers mostly because I was starting to get burnt out with the time it took for buffs/nerfs, hacker problems, the grind....and I'm very against MMR in dbd but that's my own problem.
No idea, when I played I was very very accurate with his tentacle this I disliked using stbfl which at the time, and even now everyone suggests using that on him but I've always been against that suggestion because for me I always go for tentacle hits. But ig now top 50% (bro I'm rusty lolol) before maybe top 15-20% if I'm being realistic. Can always be better etc. Plus I cared more so about BP (hooks rather than confirmed kills) bc I like hoarding addons or getting my other chars p3 all perks.

Spirit.
She’s my type of killer, always has been and always will be.
Probably 300-400 of my 1300.
25-30 I guess?
Ya know all I ever see you talk about here is spirit this, spirit that...shesh so annoyin...jk haha it's cute how much you talk about and love that character. Actually I'd love to know what build you run on her. Like perks/addons hell what outfit you rock on her? I used to run a mix of different things like the schoolgirl outfit and geisha hair. Also liked to cosplay the ring girl, I called it that anyways, with the white kimono and and the head from I think the Greek armor spirit outfit.

Clown. Pretty much mained him since he came out.
There's something so enjoyable about his relative simplicity and i tend to do really well with him on a consistent basis.
Also his bottles make people blow their dead hards when they don't want to, often wasting it completely. Which is just the greatest thing ever.
He has the best laugh in the game to IMHO.
Damn a clown player since he came out? Those are pretty rare, what do you like running on him? I've played him alot off and on over the years myself. Always loved his simpleness at face value but there's alot to him in terms of bottle placement and accuracy.
@MauriceMaverick said:
Always mained demo since he came out and never regretted it.
Dang what's made you stick with him so long and how has your playstyle changed over the years? I always really like hearing people having a killer they main since that killers release. Also may as well ask what build you run with him as well.

I'm a completionist so I want all characters on both sides p3 lv 50 with all perks as of last November I had that on 13 survivors & 11 killers on ps4.
Then I got a series X & started the whole grind again.
Currently Meg is p350 with all perks (including newest chapter) kate is also p350.
All other survivors are level 50 not prestiged.
All my killers are also level 50 none prestiged.
I play a lot (well I did time is way more limited recently, so limited i've only claimed the advent calendar twice!) & as a new play which I sort of was (started from scratch at least) I can see why some find it off putting but personally I think without the grind I wouldn't play nearly as much after so many years.
Like achievements in general my goal motivates me to continue onwards & I will make it too I don't doubt that.
At best i'd make all perks 1 level rather than 3 it would save millions of blood points & reduce the grind quite a bit.
Or maybe my preferred option would be to rework the entire bloodweb, add more perks per level & remove so many useless things your forced to buy that don't remotely resemble value for bloodpoints.
I'd also like an option to sell or I guess the entity would probably say burn junk my characters have for say a 50% bloodpoint refund which will also futher help with the grind at least a little.
The grind will always remain in some fashion or another like the archives its designed to encourage players to keep playing it works for me & many others until that changes not much else will either.
Kinda curious on what a hardcore completionist like yourself would run on their survivor or killer. I'd assume it's all stuff to get bp like wglf/bbq etc.

Resurrecting an older post here, but I see you around alot and I was curious what you run on your bubba? You play other killers or mostly the big boi himself.

No proof but my proof is this "bruh trust me"
Lmfao I love when people say this kinda stuff here on the forums. It's hilarious bc these crazy claims always pop up with absolutely no one else being able to achieve similar results and it not being proven via like a video or stream or something.
Like if you're that amazing why not make that money, you'd get views xD
Kinda reminds me awhile back there was a clown main who insisted he 4ked every match and it was super optimal to use fired up on him.

BBQ for bloodpoints, Iron Maiden to cover up the fact that he practically reloads after every chase, Lethal Pursuer to cover up his horrible early game and get a fast down at the start of the match, and Bamboozle to help him in shack. That's probably my favorite build on him and I almost always get 2ks-4ks with this build. No add-ons needed either.
If you don't want to use Iron Maiden you can use the Melodious Murder add-on for faster reload speed.
Not going to lie really like how you describe this build! You main him? I assume you main demo bc of the pfp.
Im definitely going to try out this trickster build, sounds aggressive and like alot of fun.
You got any other killer bills you can recommend like for Nemesis for example? I'd love to try out some more!

Bubba with iron grasp and agitation stops basically all troll survivors. They still try, but it is mostly really sad.

I use brutal on a lot of m1 killers, with enduring. I use agitation on my big boi Bubba. It helps a lot to get them to the basement. I do not consider either particularly strong, but they feel good.
Yeah I'm kinda the same I like those two perks even tho they're somewhat weak. Like brutal on Myers or trickster or agitation on hag etc.
What do u run on ur bubba anyways?

his scaring twitch streamers with jumpscare myers is pretty entertaining
Yeah what Dwight said, stalky rarely plays scratched mirror, only does it for requests, like me he's grown tired of scratched mirror and finds those matches kinda boring. Not because scratched mirror is inherently boring, but bc it's been done so many times from years of playing Mikey.

Oni, Demo, Pig, PH, Blight, Myers, Trapper and lately trying out new Plague and re-learning Nurse if I am bored.
I like to play survivor the most, but the BP gain is very low there
I can understand that. Survs alot of fun just awful BP gain. I still use wglf on most my survs unless I'm doing a tome challenge that I build around lol.
Oh Mikey, I've been sorta in the mood to play Myers bc of the newest Halloween movie, mind sharing a build for him?
-
@ShinobuSK said:
I mean I already do that for a while, no need to sweat if MMR is a worthless invisible number anyway.
All I care about is BP so 4 BBQ stacks and some good chases are my win conditions.
What killers do you usually play? I also mostly play for stacks and BP now. Well been in a break for a few weeks but yeah. I'ma BP addict.
It's like any game, if it gave you a way to earn double XP, there's no way I wouldn't do it.

No. Prestiging is fine as is. It is just the perk grind that is the massive issue. The whole point of prestiging is to lose everything and gain something like the bloody cosmetics. All they need to do is fix the perks by removing the tiers and that will immediately also help with prestiging. But the way Prestiging works is perfectly fine.
You mighta missed the dev stream, but they said they have plans to rework the way prestiging works to make it alot more fun and rewarding. They also mentioned it again when a question was asked about reducing the grind...so who knows prestiging may actually do something like OP suggested. We really don't know yet.
-
@WTBacon okay just reporting back with how it went with your build.
Oh I really liked it. I'm going to explain it as how I understand it, thanatophobia because obviously it's good with Legion, pairs with surge too cuz you'll technically get more value out of it, I will say infectious fright was incredibly good on him I don't know why I didn't think about it before but where people are constantly injured as Legion it really helps with the snowball overall very good for blood points! Hope there's more to come from you!
-
@WTBacon said:
BBQ is really just for the bloodpoints, but a few select killers can use the information to good effect.
I'm not bringing up the usual Blight, Nurse, etc., but Legion.
BBQ has the downside of only revealing the auras of survivors outside of 40 meters, Legion in Feral Frenzy gives Killer Instinct for survivors in your Terror Radius +8 (within 40 meters).
Hooking a survivor and then stabbing some one in FF has the potential to give you the locations of all survivors on the map. Because of this, I like to run chase oriented builds.
- BBQ
- Infectious Fright
- Surge (Jolt)
- Thanataphobia
BBQ shows you survivors outside of 40 meters, Feral Frenzy shows you survivors within 40. Infectious Fright is there to replace FF if all the survivors choose to stay injured. The 2 next perks, Surge and Thanataphobia, further punish survivors for staying injured rather then healing.
I actually recommend against using Lethal Pursuer on Legion. His power is literally just to find people, so Lethal Pursuer is a waste of a perk slot.
Oh very smart I love the way you broke it down. Are you a legion main? Got any other killers you could break down in a similar fashion? Any and all would be great! Again thanks for your time!
@WTBacon or do you mostly play Legion

@Labrac said:
I think the RE chapter was done super poorly. Nemesis doesn't even feel like Nemesis without some sort of running ability or weaponry, the zombies are super bland and annoying for both sides and his actual power is so lackluster that even Trickster is arguably better than him.
SH chapter was much better indeed. Pyramid Head is actually a scary chaser and the cages, although technically not in the games, fit super well his power.
I don't think the problem was the lack of horror because Stranger Things isn't even a horror franchise and I think everybody agrees the chapter was a success.
Honestly this was perfectly said, I couldn't have said it better.

Leatherface
BBQ, Iron Grasp, Agitation, and Insidous. You see, the goal here is to down someone and drag them to your basement. If they hook trade, you get another stack of BBQ.
The most based of bubba builds.

@WTBacon ok you told me to @ you here when I made this haha!

The build I'm using right now.
- WGLF
- Self Care
- Botany Knowledge
- Desperate Measures
Why I love this:
- Take a hit for some one for free stack, heal very quickly for Survival BP.
- Very fast pickup of slugs because of 3 healing perks.
- Botany Knowledge combined with Desperate Measures allows you to heal teammates very quickly, especially when multiple people are hurt.
Does your build change with the new circle of healing boon? I've had your build saved for awhile now and I was wondering about it just now getting around to asking lol. I imagine u change self care for it but idk you may keep it the same!
Anywhere I can msg u about builds on like discord or something? I'd like to ask for some killer builds too without filling the forums with it lol
-
Yeah hacking is absolutely rampant. Every single day, no exaggerating I see one or more hackers. Anything from survivors zooming around the map, to another hacker making himself the extra killer and alot of them make it so the game won't end too.
-
Awful as expected.

@DwightFairfield said:
Make WGLF go up to 5 stacks, granting 25% bonus bp for each gen done
Make BBQ go up to 12 stacks, granting 25% for every hook
:)
Lol 🤣 but in all seriousness I wish they'd make those bp gains basekit so I wouldn't have to feel so obliged to run them in both killer and survivor.
Like you'd still have to get stacks for bbq and wglf to get the BP but u wouldn't have to run those perks if that makes sense

On Topic:
I like his punches/and tentacles but they shoulda gave more to his arsenal. Like his rpg...hell I'd be fine even if it was only in a Mori. Speaking of which I wanted this as his Mori (at 3:10) https://youtu.be/mUeaXG8QEOc
Nemesis is really smart and uses a decent arsenal of weapons and it's such a shame that he only uses his tentacle in DBD. Also I know I'm not the only one who think the zombie AI is alot worse than it was in the ptb. Like I believe the ptb zombies were alot smarter. Also had some ideas for stronger add-ons replacing the zombies with other re 2-3 creatures like lickers or hunters they'd each have their own speed and detection ranges...just ideas. Not my job to make it balanced.
Off Topic: lol
@TheDarkTyrant you got a discord or steam I can dm you on? Our last Convo kinda got cut short. I'd like to talk to u more about builds or resi evil.

On Michael I like Bamboozle, Ruin, Monitor, and Pop. I also swap pop for Fire Up sometimes when I feel like it for extra fast vaults.
For Clown its Brutal Strength, Fire Up or Enduring, Ruin, and STBFL.
For Nemesis I'm using Bamboozle, Ruin, Pop, and STBFL
Speaking of fire up, I really wish that perk had some number buffs. It feels like that perk would be perfect for Mookel.
Dang no bbq builds? I can't go without it, just bc those bps feed my add-on and perk/p3 grinding on my killers! I really wish that bp stuff was basekit, I'd never use wglf or bbq if it was.
Yeah your Mikey build sounds like fun! Clown...I get it make him a monster at chase and munch through pallets, as for Nemmy why bamboozle? I'm curious as I can't think of why it'd be special on him other then just wanting to get easier loops...maybe to get them in the open for a easy tentacle hit?
Wanna know what's fun to mess around with? Spirit fury nemmy, even without enduring, if they decide to play around it and predrop, boom easy tentacle hit/pallet break with ur tentacle anyways. Basically them playing around spirit fury is still a net gain for u. Try it out one day!!

All the screenwriter has the rights to is whatever appeared in the first film. That means the killer Pamela Vorhees, the councilors in the first move, the drowned child Jason Vorhees, Camp Crystal Lake, and possibly the title "Friday the 13th".
The hockey mask wearing monster was designed by the movie studio, not the screenwriter. If they renamed him (something as simple as Jason Vicious) and gave him a slightly different backstory, BHVR would really only need to go through the studio for the copyright. They may have to choose a different chapter name than "Friday the 13th" but I don't think people will care too much about the chapter name.
What if instead of Voorhees it was Jason Voorhes, Vorehees, or Vorhees.. hahaha it's close enough to be said the same, and people avoid alot of legal trouble by a small letter change xD

Yeah basically. I can do very well with Clown and Michael the majority of the time. I don't like using add-ons so it is probably holding me back a little bit.
I like hording add-ons too...I like seeing the numbers go up LMAO. I usually use browns that I have alot of or none. What you usually run on ole Mikey, clown, nemmy build wise?
On Mikey I been running corrupt, bbq, pop, infectious/bamboozle.
Clown is usually anti heal build...lol

Originally I mained Myers. I love Myers a lot in DBD. Have always been a big defender of him in terms of balancing. In accuracy I think most agree he is basically perfect. For non licensed I LOVE Clown. I also defend him a lot. But I play all the licensed killers. I love them. Except the 1 of course.
I also adore clown! Always been a clown defender. I also started out as a Myers main...whole reason I got the game was him.
I really wanted to get into trickster too but he was a struggle on console lol still kinda is...like I wanna get into him but I don't know if I should give up on him and just fully commit to clown as my shard dump for outfits lol
So yeah you main nemmy/clown/Myers basically?

@TheDarkTyrant unrelated but what other killers do you enjoy alot/main? Just curious tryna start a friendly Convo here

it's kind of a fun guessing game I do daily. What Nemesis post will TheDarkTyrant make today? 👩🚀
You'd think with a name like mine I'd be doing something like this, instead I'm memeing, asking for builds to mess around with or being salty for whatever reason. XD
-
Lol it never fails. Someone always tries to argue that camping or slugging is holding the game hostage.
People consistently overuse the term holding the game hostage the way that DBD sees it anyways. Guy can argue all he wants with Mandy but camping isn't preventing the game from ending.
In fact nowadays it's really really hard to hold the game hostage. I remember Thompson house...man the killers would get salty and trap u there haha
-
I been playing alot less lately on the killer side but there was a time when I mained them, both very fun! Lately I've been enjoying plague alot!

I take it you main bubba and doc 😜

Stop DCing and you won't get locked.

I mean you aren't wrong lol

I'd like that for survivors and killers both. A shared inventory of offerings

Yeah I've been a Mikey main for nearly 4 years now. They said all the killers will be getting visual reworks eventually. They did a pretty solid job making Laurie look good. I mean they couldn't make her look just like Jamie Lee Curtis but they came close enough. I have high hopes they'll do Mikey justice.
I'm devotion 26. My usual build for Mikey is BBQ, Corrupt, Bamboozle and Pop. Sometimes I alter out BBQ for Monitor, Tinkerer, or Infectious. I don't really have a secondary main. I am a devoted Mikey player. I'll play other killers for dailies and stuff, but other than that its always Mikey.
My survivor build is Bond, We'll Make it, Borrowed Time, and Prove Thyself. I try to be a true Dweet and run perks that help my team.
Same I'm really really hoping that they make the mask actually look like it's supposed to and even better I'd like to see 2018's mask or some others as cosmetics
Dang on devotion 9 about to hit 10. I'm surprised you've been solely dedicated to Mikey then, I'd figure you'd have two or three killers you rotate between!
No wglf? Ripppp xD
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
All Mikey needs is a few tweaks rather than a total rework, similar to what they did with Wraith, to put him in a comfortable spot;
- Let him start with his tier 1 at 99%. That way Mikey has the option to stay in the tier 1 oblivious status for as long as he wants and maybe get a spicy gen grab or something (I've gotten many when in tier 1), or he can just tap into tier 2 the moment he spots a survivor if he prefers.
- Remove the stalk cap on survivors, or at the very least DRAMATICALLY increase it. Bubba and Billy are not limited on how many times they can chainsaw down someone. Oni is not limited on how much blood he can collect per match. Extend Mikey the same courtesy with his stalk.
- When in tier 3 give him faster pallet breaking speed to compliment the extended lunge and the fast vault speed. Tier 3 is Mikey at his most powerful so make him a total beast and have him chew through pallets quicker, too.
You're a long time Mikey main aren't you Dwight? I used to be a Mikey main a long time ago when I first started dbd..I like all your ideas except I think..like oni, he should have a toggle to go tier 2/3 rather than having to 99. Plus give himore deviousness plsssss :(
And the most important changing needs is... Make his mask actually look like his mask xD
I'm almost tempted to ask your devotion because I've seen you here for awhile. What build you running on him nowadays? And do you have a secondary main?
I'm currently into pinhead and clown right now with doc being tempting.
Bonus: what's your survivor build? I'ma build fanatic...always talking about builds lul..

That's exactly what people did when they implemented SBMM in Call of Duty. Imagine spending years of your life getting better in a shooter, at the beggining getting assblasted, and little by little getting better than other players to a point where you could get 25 killstreaks consistently and suddently one day they decide to nah, your average kill death ratio must be 1:1. Many veterans stopped playing the game and the season was a disaster, then they decided to disable it.
Imagine back in Wrath of the Lich King, you are in one of the first people in a guild where you finished the raid content and have better gear than everyone else, you queue excited in a battelground but then you realize that you are put against only people that also have similar gear.
My point is matchmaking based on the luck of the draw instead of similar skill is what gives players a better sense of progression and the satisfaction of "pwning some noobs". I just want to be able to keep using my stupid builds and still do decent in the game, i don't want to have to use ruin pop tinkerer... to continue getting my 4ks, I invested a lot of time in this game and everyone who invests it can get to the same point as me.
Basically same reason I quit cod, it became unplayable because of varying skills of different friends getting in sweat lobbies with me. I'd much prefer a mixed bag, some good, some average and some bad all mixed not every single game with unrelenting sweating, like It used to be. Protect the lower bracket like the actual babies then having connection/ping is king was the best way to have it. (For cod I mean) For dbd I'd rather then tweak and expand on the old emblem system rather than fully throw it away. A game like DBD was never built for competitive sbmm and the devs will never balance according and fast enough for it anyways. High level DBD is incredibly boring to play.
I'll either end up not playing anymore, or I may end up just doing stupid ######### like facecamping bubba if I decide to play killer. Mostly will play survivor with my friends if I do end up playing, and who knows how long that'll be.
I've been through this rodeo before in a franchise I loved...and yeah I loved cod despite it's admittedly bad entries, tried to get through it but all it ended up doing was getting me so burnt out, every match felt the same there was no variety and god forbid u tried doing camo challenges..or having none of my friends wanting to play bc of it all. Sorta off topic but that's my opinion I'm not shaming anyone for liking sbmm but it's definitely not for me I'll just play something else.
