I love No Mither. I honestly feel at my weakest when I'm NOT running the perk for a few reasons:

    1. You are almost as stealthy as a healthy survivor, at all times. (enabling more in-chase misdirection opportunities and enhancing out-of-chase stealth)
    2. When downed, the killer has to account for you being able to pick yourself back up for free. Killers have to pick you up before you have time to recover, and by forcing their hand, you are taking away potentially game-ending options just because you have this perk.
    3. MfT and Resilience get 100% uptime while running this perk that also negates the downsides of being injured that makes it easier for the killer to actually hit you. This results in a loadout that increases your efficiency at everything in exchange for not being able to heal. In addition, MfT's endurance effect situationally covers the downside of No Mither players not being able to take protection hits. The frequency of these situations is fairly common, and honestly MfT is the only reason I feel like No Mither can be a consistently beneficial perk for you and your team. It's the "straw that healed the camel's back" in a way.
    4. All your bases covered, and you still have a perk slot left. What will you do? (answer: have fun :) )

What's your fourth perk to round it out? Sounds like a lot of fun tho I know if I ran it I'd get destroyed xD

  • What do you run on him? I'm currently on a DBD break but I'd love to try whatever you use in terms of perks or strategy when I come back.

Edit: Nevermind I saw you state it in a earlier comment. lol good stuff man keep up the Myers rep

  • Not gonna lie I'm hating this fov change, it's thrown off my muscle memory and now I can't hit bottles for crap

  • I agree. Main reason I don't play him on console is the wonkiness of the aiming. Which kind of pains me because I really love the idea of singularity. He's super cool to me

My choice too. I couldn't do a healing build without it. I like using it with Empathic Connection, so injured survivors can see me waving them towards me.

That sounds super fun lmao what other two perks do u run with them?

  • @CrowVortex said:

My Main is Artist, love the theme and playstyle. Followed by Dredge as a second main, then switch it up between Knight and Plague on the regular. Everyone else i find either too boring or frustrating in terms of power usage, does not work reliably on console or just plain don't like.

Got into Dredge recently and have absolutely loved him. I really missed out on not really giving him a chance lol

Also more recently enjoyed playing Knight, the multitasking and pincer attack tactics are so fun.

Never really got into plague but I always praise her for her strengths, as for artist, I'd say that she's fun too but I very rarely play her. Care to tell me what you like about her, what perks and add-ons u like on her as well? Talk me into playing her more! Haha.

My main is obvious in that it's Nemesis but really he's more so on a temporary vacation as I haven't touched him for awhile.

If I had to say my current top 3 that I ACTUALLY play right now, it'd be Dredge, Knight and sometimes Wesker sometimes singularity... although I love singularity I'm starting to think he just straight up isn't worth it on console with the camera controls and not being able to swiftly flick with them like how the top pc singularity players can. :( Which sucks bc I think he's super cool

Do u play ps or Xbox?

    Sole Survivor+Wake Up.

I'm of the opinion that matchmaking and relative sweat level difference between both sides are the biggest determining factors in a match, not survivor loadouts. Sole Survivor+Wake Up allows you to salvage MMR in matches where you had zero chance of winning from the lobby screen. There's no other perk or combination that can change the outcome for me when a killer is hard tunneling teammates at 5 gens and they're farming each other off hook.

Care to give your full survivor build? I like that combo too but usually just slap it on for a one time usage fun build lol

  • @DredgeyEdgey said:

There's n9t much that he can do better than dredge

Lmao I figured you'd say dredge with your name. Nothing wrong with that

  • @MrMori any updates to your findings or final thoughts? Will you be running singularity for future BP events as well etc.?

Also off topic but why can't I view your forum profile? Is it private somehow. I'm also wondering what perks do you run when playing survivor in terms of BP

  • @ChurchofPig said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3424630#Comment_3424630

You have yet to send "proof" just stating your opinion. Dredge was one of the most fun original characters to come into the game.

Was/is he? I've been on a break from DBD for awhile or playing so very rarely and interacting with the community less. Just from playing other games.

Back to the point I was getting to...I never really gave him a chance or even really played him besides...idk sub 5 games. Is he really that fun? (I'm being genuine not mocking lol)

  • @MrMori said:

Some say "have a build with a mix of slowdown to max all categories, etc", but that actually isn't the best way to get lots of BP.

Equip Distressing, Beast of Prey and Thrill of the Hunt, and whatever comfort perk you want. Ditch gen slowdown entirely. As you mention, it doesn't matter if the games are short, that's exactly what you want. As long as you're getting max Deviousness + Hunter, you'll have really good BP gains.

Lategame sacrifices aren't worth more than 700 BP unless gates are powered, so forget whether you're getting a 4k or a 0k, it's all about having the fastest games with the most BP per minute. Open gates whenever you have an opportunity for bonus Sacrifice points.

The best characters are ones that have no issue maxing their Deviousness, get into many chases, and can get multiple hits or free hits somehow, often through stealth or other methods. It doesn't matter if the game ends in 5 mins and they all escape if you got max Deviousness and Hunter, that's still tons of BP.

So here's a list of a few really good ones loosely ordered:

    1. Blight - Tons of chases, tons of hits, great deviousness gain
    2. Wesker - Similar to Blight
    3. Wraith - Stealth killer, easy Hunter and Brutality points with hit and run
    4. Nemesis - Extremely fast Deviousness gains, gets into lots of chases.
    5. Trickster - Very easy to max Deviousness, fast chases
    6. Sadako - Free hits + high Deviousness gains. 2200 Deviousness per hit with her BP addon.
    7. Bubba (With Speed Limiter) - Hits for 3400 Deviousness points, multihits for Brutality points near hook, etc.
    8. Clown - Can farm Deviousness in chase.
    9. Knight - Good BP gains in most categories, Distressing makes his Deviousness point gains pretty good.

    Honorable mentions:

    • Ghostface - Bonus BP in Brutality which is unique and good, very good Deviousness points, but often gets mediocre Hunter points thanks to instadowning and stealth
    • Oni - Also gets bonus Brutality in his power, and good overall BP gains too.
    • Nurse - Surprisingly awful Deviousness gains, remedied by often getting a 4k for easy 5000 Deviousness points. Sometimes simply ends games and chases too quickly to actually get any good BP lmao.
    • Legion - Not bad at all, but if you're going for multihits you slow the game down a lot. Can hit people to go out of frenzy for some extra Brutality points, but gets surprisingly few Deviousness points unless survivors group together.
    • Doctor - Sure he gets easy Deviousness points, but what else does he have? Not much. Not bad by any means, but not great either.

Probably too detailed of a post honestly, but I run BP boosters every game and play for BP and chase mostly, so I figured I'd weigh in.

Dude, I absolutely love the detailed writeup that is your comment, I've been around for awhile and not many people can wrap their head around the long term gains like this.

Yeah there's some, not saying there's none. But anyone that I tell something similar to tends to blow it off lol

Anyways you could probably add demo to your list too, his shred is excellent for deviousness, especially max shred.

I gotta ask, would you be willing to do an actual post covering this topic, talking about the killers? Maybe just for fun, what you'd run as the forth perk for each of said killers?

  • I too have said Jurassic Park velociraptors unironically.

Just think about it. Possibilities for cool maps, the velociraptor could have skins for the raptors from the different movies. Maybe even the Jurassic park theme lmao if we can get a monster like demo or dredge a JP raptor totally could one day ahha

  • I didn't catch that stream? What build/s was otz using to try and reach the cap as survivor?

  • The recoil for trickster makes him very hard for console players.

  • @TheDarkTyrant said:

When it comes to licensed characters it should be accurate. Doesn't matter if it ends up not being unique,. The licensed characters should be those characters. Just wait for the next original killer.

💯💯💯 Exactly. Nemesis and Freddy are shells of their ips. Here's to hoping Wesker feels like Wesker.

With Wraith, for example, survivors are forced to heal, otherwise the first injured survivor I find on a gen gets ambushed and downed very fast, especially if I have Coxcombed/Bone Clapper or Fearmonger. Then I can also get huge Thana value.

With Wraith my build now is always Shattered Hope, Pentimento, Sloppy or instead Blind Warrior-White; and then another perk like Call of Brine, Thana, or even Nurse's, and Franklin's if there are a lot of Medkits.

With this build I've come back from situations where I lost 2 gens and had no down, and completely broke their bones, especially now since medkits are nerfed indirectly with Botany nerfed.

Yes, survivors can heal themselves, but they still have to meet each other, and if I get them with Sloppy/Nurse's the progress is completely lost.

And the more the map is big, the more running to teammates takes time.

Like the way you describe your wraith build. Seems well thought out! Has it changed since the thana nerf?

I've been running Nemesis with my same build of Lightborn, Distressing, and Beast of Prey. On PS4, during the Double Rift Fragment event I replaced BBQ with Deadlock. I'm not sure what to run, now. Maybe I'll go back to Whispers, it's what I used before I stopped being able to counter flashlights.

Not sure what I'll replace BBQ with on the Switch. Unlike on PS4, I don't have many perks on killers, so my options are very limited. I might go with Tier 2 Lethal Pursuer.

How about you? What've you been running with?

I bet you make absolute stonks with that build seeing as how you're still using it with the newly increased BP cap. How's that going for ya? What's your average game.

I still use enduring, forced penance, and lethal pursuer as a lore accurate build. Haven't really decided on something to have as a fourth. Been thinking about lightborn and nemesis as both would synergize with lethal and would make sense in terms of usage and the literal name in Nemesis's case. Then I think about pwyf and how it would be perfect to represent him and his speed, but you just wouldn't get much use out of it with him sadly.

  • @TragicSolitude said:

If it's obvious when someone is running BBQ, then it's obvious to know to hide from it or mind game it. There are so many ways to counter it, I don't understand what nerf is needed. I personally dropped BBQ from all my builds now that there's no BP bonus. I still see some killers run BBQ, sure, but not many: mostly I see gen/slowdown perks and that makes me miss BBQ.

Since dropping bbq, what builds you been running, still playing nemmy, or played a few different killers? Just curious! Hope you been well

  • I took bbq and wglf off of literally all my builds.

Tho now I'm tempted to run prove thyself and other BP earning perks on survs bc the gains there is so terrible, and I never get close to reaching the caps on surv.

Also bbq is painfully easy to counter, get real mate.

  • Bp gains as a whole, both before and after this patch, needed raised for survivors.

My current build is Rookie Spirit, Sprint Burst, Vigil, and BT.

Sprint Burst helps me in chase and lets me reach a regressing gen faster so it doesn't lose much progress, Vigil makes it so I can get Sprint Burst so fast I don't have to bother walking everywhere. BT is for tunnelling.

Tried this out and I really like it!

  • @BlightedDolphin said:

I’m really liking Rookie Spirit right now. With everyone kicking gens now it acts as a great way to know where the killer is, which gens have some progress, and where your teammates are.

What else you liking with it? I myself have always liked it but rarely run it

  • Change the text to 2 million now

  • Any idea on the amount of bps any of the levels save?

  • "Lady Dimetresu juicers" ngl I like the sound of that. How do I sign up for such a position?

  • @Remedicist said:

Monitor and Lethal are two perks that could combo well. Lets you know where they are immediately to get their power and give survivors less time to react to your presence. The game starts flowing once he gets his power so taking two perk slots to ease the beginning isn't so bad. I've noticed that once you start gaining hooks, Plaything helps you sneak up on survivors with your power even more.

You listed only three perks, forever destroying the hopes and dreams of those of us wanting a full build, I hope you feel ashamed of yourself jk lol

She isn’t add on dependent in the slightest. This is what I’ve been trying to say, MDR+DCB might make it seem like she’s add on dependent when you start to rely on it. She’s just got a higher learning curve than before and one step to learning her is to not use those add ons.

Why did you end up stop playing spirit anyways? Also what do you plan to use on her when the update drops?

  • @EvilSerje said:

Don't listen to most "she is the worst" comments, people just comparing everything with nurse/blight, but at the same time DON'T fool yourself, she is NOT strong in a slightest.

I play her and practically only her since her release. Therefore I try to list things, so maybe you sum it up and make your decision.

    • She is REALLY fun and enjoyable to play. I don't know why still, but she is somehow "comfort" to play
    • She has good perks coming with her
    • She has MANY weaknesses and all that lies on your skill and perks. She is really perk dependant and player skill dependant (you have to perfectly know maps, survivor's mindset)
    • She is very weak in chase. You can use her manifest/demanifest power to win chases, but you have to know invisibility timings by your marrow and mindgame king.
    • She is macroplay killer, which scares away most people that don't bother play strategically and just mindlessly chase one survivor
    • She is a hit/run and slug heavy killer, if you want to compete with decent teams, not down/hook killer. There are some tricky builds for her condemn power, but you really have to change your playstyle for that. I go for just hit/run/occasional slug.
    • She is REALLY perk dependant. I said that and I repeat it again.
    • She needs a BUFF. FFS, BHVR! Every single post and comment about Sadako is basically "PLZ BUFF HER ASAP!" You want a petition or hastag #MakeSadakoGreatAgain? We all love that wet girl, BUFF her already! 😍

I'd also love to hear from you, I like playing as her alot as well, but I definitely get mixed results. What perks do you recommend and what add-ons! Genuinely curious

  • @PaintedDeath said:

    I love playing as Sadako.

Generally I love playing as stealth killers, I will usually even use builds that turn non-stealth killers stealth. Sadako though, her playstyle is ######### oppressive if done right, allow them to think they've evaded you or you dropped chase, only to appear behind them. That's priceless.

Oh sounds like alot of fun! What do you like to run on her and what's your playstyle exactly?

  • Nemmy. Because. Well my name doesn't give it away or anything.

Demogorgon is a ton of fun too, always was plus him being a limited killer that no one can buy anymore makes me want to play him more so more people can face him.

Clown is up there too, love clown.

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Hard disagree with that Demogorgon build.

First Save The Best For Last never has been and never will be meta on Demogorgon, not as long as Black Heart exists.

Second of all, Lethal Pursuer with Enduring is better than Endfury.

Lethal Pursuer will synergize extremely well with Demogorgon's best Add-On, that being Leprose Lichen, increasing its effect by 2 seconds (from 3 up to 5 seconds). That's extremely powerful, better than any other Aura reading Perk in the game.

Deadlock, I'm iffy on. It can work, but it depends on how you like to play Demogorgon. As someone who enjoys controlling the Map more than chases (as Shred is already an amazing chase tool), Call Of Brine or Overcharge would be better, or maybe both if you don't want to use Enduring.

A "meta" Demogorgon build would probably be something along the lines of:

Lethal Pursuer/No Way Out/Enduring/Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance

I tried out this and I really enjoyed it. What would you change pain resonance to once the perk update drops tho?

  • Did anyone do the math for how much this saves?

  • @ChurchofPig said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2972914#Comment_2972914

Personally I'm speaking from a standpoint that I feel a lot fewer people would have. As of right now on live servers, I have every killer and survivor Prestige 3 Level 50, if they hand me bloodpoints when all teachables are basically going to unlock at Tier 3 on every character anyways, it's not going to feel like I was compensated or rewarded. It will feel like, "What's this for?"

Yo I gotta ask. What did you run on Survivors while doing this? I can never decide what build to run on them while grinding out BP. Always swapping out the other two perks whilst wglf and prove thyself is always on it. Also may as well ask since it's a bloodhunt, does your build change any for those? I'm close to havin all killers P3, about 2 left to go...with alot of them being all perks.

There's a reason i main this man xD

And there's a reason people hate Doc too, they don't like the DENY button if it's used against them, but they're completely fine when they use it

What if they deny your denial?

*Dead hards your shock therapy and shock blast* and before you ask, yes it's possible 😈

  • Agreed even if it was slightly higher than Shadowborn or hell even if it was only Shadowborn fov and no better. A slider between what we have now and that would be nice.

  • @TheDarkTyrant said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2962831#Comment_2962831

    Some more examples:

    Leatherface without his chainsaw

Amanda Young without any saw trap at all

    Ghost Face without his mask

    Demogorgon without the upside down

    Pyramid Head without his knife

Nd of course, Pinhead without THE box.

Also Myers without his iconic mask. Speaking of which can we get a visual rework of Myers? They nailed his power, but he looks downright goofy and the mask isn't from any of the movies

  • Completely agreed, as much as I thoroughly enjoy playing nemesis in DBD, as many hours as I've put into him...I wish they'd completely rework his power, it doesn't feel like Nemesis...in name and in skin only. Nemmy isn't a zombie horde leader that spams his tentacle 24/7.

He's known for his intelligence, speed and weaponry and none of those were represented well. When I play bubba I feel like bubba, when I play Myers I feel like Myers (although he could use a few buffs that's besides the point), and when I play Nemesis...I honestly feel like I'm playing Birkin with a nemmy skin and tentacle ability.

I'll try to describe it in a way that is easier to digest. It's like having Freddy with nothing to do with the dream world, it's like having Myers with no stalking aspect, it's like having Sadako with no video tapes/the well. These things are tied so closely to these characters...character, that they just aren't fully them without it.

  • Hell I hope this chapter does so well that we get a 3rd resi chapter. The more the better I say. I hope they give him the pinhead treatment with a bunch of voice lines. Idc if he's top tier or bottom tier as long as he's fun to play, not clunky, and is a good representation of the character. Also my beloved Ada. Ayo Jill and Cheryl, I'm sorry but I'm dropping you two the moment project w releases.

All I gotta say is pixel can stay mad (ily pixel but I gotta bust your #####).

  • I say, what makes most sense monetarily? I'd say by far resident evil 5 Wesker, I'd bet money on it even.

Imagine he could dodge pallet stuns with good timing or maybe a cool down using his super speed idk. I'm down for whatever, I love resident evil.

Yeah let’s just ignore how we got Artist who flat out destroys all survivors. Yeah they always make them happy!

Right? Killers and survs constantly acting oppressed all the time is hilarious. Killers like to act like it's absolutely impossible to win without gen regression, all killers are unviable trash, and that they face 4 man death squads constantly, whilst survivors act like every killer lives and breathes on only camping and tunneling them. I'd say more but it's not the topic xD.

Rocket Launcher is not even a balance issue, it's a matter of fact that it doesn't thematically fit in a game like DBD since there are no guns in the game in general aside from deathslinger, but even his gun was created in a extremely specific way.

Even Cote has said in past interviews that there was no plans to add a rocket launcher to his kit since like i said, DBD has no guns besides Deathslingers harpoon gun and that the only discussion there was about it at all was maybe adding it to the mori, so yes, even they don't agree with you. But i guess to you non of that matter as the only thing you care about is accuracy and will disregard any other aspects.

Now this i can respect more because that is true. Bhvr have said that, I just disagree with that design choice.

  • @Smoe said:

You'll set yourself up for a disappointment if you expect a 100% accurate to source material chapter since some things are very likely to be changed in some way for the sake of balance or for thematic reasons, that's why you will never get a rocket launcher for nemesis or Nemesis getting his kit from RE mastermind no matter how much you beg for it.

No. Sorry a things existence isn't an argument for being unbalanced or not available in a game.

Literally anything can be in a game and be balanced if they chose to balance it. I mean hell resident evil brought us flashbangs, granted they are basically firecrackers...I agree with the bit that nothing can be 100% accurate of course but can we stop pretending that the existence of something is an argument against for it being a thing.

  • Agreed and agreed. They should have depicted these two characters better. They don't feel like themselves.

Nemesis...he's not nemmy at all. I don't wanna go into it bc Dark Tyrant has covered it extensively.

Freddy is like someone with no imagination using a green lantern ring lol. All powerful in the dream world but what can he do? A weaker rip off of clown in chase and a stronger demo teleport. Oh and sometimes a rip off of docs fake pallets.

  • I mean. That mindset is precisely what the DC penalty is for. So in short, no.

  • Half tempted to put some of these answers in a list for this post lol

Kinda neat seeing who mains what

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Desperate measures and no one left behind for fast end game unhooks. You also get the bonus bloodpoints and faster healing from both perks as well.

Knockout OG Freddy was my fave build back in the days, Ive been running that combo for years.

Best thing you can do in this game is stop instapicking up trying to 12 hook, run deerstalker and pressure them more is how I get good results

I always liked running underrated perks on builds myself. Mind sharing a few builds and killers u run them on?

You probably like Sadako considering she's similar in ways to OG Freddy.

  • Das my boi..stalky boi 😎

Yeah I hate seeing how outdated my favorite slasher has become.
