Head on is nice, but it only works once per game, maybe twice if you are really lucky
If you’re in a SWF it can be used several times lol.

What about your passive-aggressive attitude? The fact that you're still being passive-aggressive can only mean that you've never looked into this issue and yet, you're here, sharing some light on what kind of psychological issues we may have and how serious they are. Sounds like we have an hypocrite here. 😉
And I'm standing on the hatch waiting for it to open so I can escape the match while my friend sacrifices himself on his second hook as he and I are well aware that we've already lost the match and are trying to do what we can to prevent the killer from having 4 sacrifices, a.k.a playing the game as it's supposed to be played, as the company who developed the game intended us to play. 😀
ohhhh boy

You do realize that killers can hear those boon totems, right? And If I'm not mistaken, they can hear it from a 20m (or a little more) distance and snuff them out in less than 2 seconds. Plus, to bless a totem, survivors need 26 seconds (again, if I'm not mistaken). That's a lot of time. Everyone in the trial also receive an auditory warning, and that includes the killer. I honestly fail to see how OP they are, weighing pros and cons alike.
It takes 24 seconds to bless a hex totem. And I think with thrill of the hunt it’s 36 seconds.

This isn't even the final change to keys. Both moris and keys are getting changed again. Moris are getting ways for survivors to counter them. Keys are being changed again when moris get it.
Now this will be interesting, wonder what they plan on doing with keys in the future??

I think Old Ruin was actually good for the newbs. I mean, that is how I learned to hit Great Skill Checks.
It teached you more than it punished you.
sure did! That’s how I also learned a few weeks before they nerfed it. And it wasn’t that hard.

They nerf they received was good enough for it to be fine imo. I do feel as if Circle of Healing needs to be toned down a little bit but at the very least, it could shake the meta which is what we’ve been asking for.
No I think they should leave it at 100%. It’s not like this perk can be used anywhere on the map.

I stand by my opinion. Three gens aren’t fun for either side, at least the hatch and keys prevent the game being held hostage in that situation. Even with the upcoming changes, nothing is being done about survivors meandering around to avoid being found in such situations.
Killers don’t need to 4K every game.
A 3k is a win for me. If a survivor finds hatch than it’s whatever.
-
@GoshJosh said:
Because keys were fine as they were, and honestly don’t deserve the upcoming nerf. A mori cut a survivor’s gameplay by two thirds, keys currently only work after certain progressions have been made in the game that don’t really cut down on the match time for a killer.
They still gave a lot of pity escapes after a 3 gen. You cannot tell me keys are healthy in their current state.

sole survivor needs a rework bad. I feel like I've never seen anyone use it, I did and took it off permanently it's a waste.
-
I don't hate any characters. I'll only lobby dodge if they're all the same wearing the same cosmetics.
-
I like that totem spawn the best, or any hex totems that spawn out in the open you can see from far away. Also what shirt is that? never seen it before.
-
Nurse is fine. she's hard to learn and nerfing her would make a lot of players quit playing her.

kindred should be basekit.

You don't always need to hide in lockers to avoid BBQ now?
I do it every game assuming the killer has BBQ anyway. 🤷🏼♂️

The thing about hooking survivors is that nobody has time for 12 hooks in a game where 3 gens can pop in 80 seconds. Slugging for pressure is necessary, and sometimes games end in 3 minutes and the only thing you can try to do is slug to try to get something.
Or you could try hooking someone and tunnel them off to get them out early.
-
How about just make NOED trigger the moment the last gen is done that way it isn't like a surprise once someone gets hit.
-
@NekoTorvic said:
I think Enduring is an example of a perk that deletes your mistake that just powerful enough to be useful, but with a small enough effect to not break the game. I think this is probably the strongest a second chance perk should ever be.
DS, is unfortunately a necessary evil, because the game necessitates tunneling, which is generally easier to do than going for all 4 survivors.
UB is terrible. The fact that you can win a match, only to have to win it again because a survivor held M1 for a bit after they got outplayed is something that shouldn't happen.
NOED should require you to get hooks during the match a la No Way Out or something...like at the end of the game you get 2% extra speed, plus 2% per survivor hooked for a total of 10% during endgame. Seems fair that you have to earn it. If it requires hooks you could even conceivably make it speed you up a bit more than 10%. Maybe 12%, and you get 3% per survivor hooked and no speed up if you havent hooked anyone.
Coup de Grace is another one that I don't like for a similar reason, but it's effect is almost pointless. Either way I'd prefer it to be earned through hooks or something else.
Deadlock is another perk that safeguards you for messing up, it just guards a gen because you lost another one.
Sprint Burst basically makes it so you never have to mind your positioning cuz you can just run away if the killer comes.
There's just so many safeguard perks that are massively impactful and require barely any effort from the user. It's kinda sad really.
the thing about UB is you just have to hook the survivors.

Bad survivors or just novices shouldn't use 2nd chance perks then like DH,DS,BT etc because it will give them a escape they should not of got making there mmr higher then it should be.
exactly, and I don't even run second chance perks as much so in a way I feel like I actually earn my escapes.
-
It's a weak perk already, I don't see hardly anyone running it anymore.

playing survivor hasn't been too bad, but on the killer side most of my matches have been a nightmare.

wow that's actually a miracle lol. I do miss old Billy.

survivors should still have the breathing sound at least.

I've left DBD prior to SBMM introduction, so I didn't experience it myself.
Judging from what I've read here, it is worse than red ranks sometimes were.
And that is scary.
I hope you find your way back to the game sometime.

It's hated because it's unfun. I just played a game after taking a break for 2 days, and guess what? I got camped to death on my first hook. I only completed 1 gen and looped him for a couple of minutes. I died with only a little over 9000 BP.
It’s definitely painful when that happens.

Lol killer main. I NEVER camp and rarely tunnel (if it's end game). Play fair and still can get 3 and 4ks. It's possible not to play like scum to survivors. Keep playing like you are, it's why the devs are nerfing killers. They said in the last stream they're looking into penalizing camping and the reason they're changing moris is they are not happy with the tunneling and camping killers are still doing to get them. And are even coming up with counters to moris.
when did they say they were looking at punishing camping? I haven't seen anyone bring this up until now.
Nevermind, I read a statement what they said about it in the stream.

@JohnWeak said:
High MMR is a terrible experience on both sides. It's full of DC, suicides, tunnel and proxy camp.
As a killer, you can't win if you want to play properly without camping and tunneling.
As a survivor, you mostly do gens and that's all.
Killer queues are now instant, survivors queues take way longer.
It shows how terrible the experience is for killers... sad
my survivor queue times have been fast from morning until 9:00 at night. Killer is the opposite.

@JayDoesGames said:
I dont think they needed their range nerfing, i guess maybe on certain maps it was a problem, but yeah. I dont agree with people saying they should be a one time use, because then they'll have to have their sound removed, and if the killer wants to snuff them, he can potentially waste so much time trying to find it. Now that they dont stack, theyre fine.
I had no problem locating someone when in range of the lucky break-esque one. Sounds of footsteps and pools of blood make it easy to locate survivors. Nobody uses lucky break, so this boon perk will be the same. Those who are worried about the fast heals...Thats already possible. You can already heal mid-chase too. Give the game chance to breathe and maybe we'll see the meta change. Arent you tired of the same old? I know I am.
exactly, we need to let this go live so we can experience it too.
-
@PleassBuiltInNoed said:
simply the fact that killer hexes do not override the boon when they spawn is laughable, they made survivor perk that yet again fully counters killer's version of the perk
also not even mentioning the fact that survivors can just heal mid chase and the fact that sounds for those totems are not even working well, you have to look at the exact direction of the totem to hear it and also be super super close and walls make it worse
How can survivors heal mid chase though unless if they have that ultra rare medkit add on?

Yes, boon totems have a white aura for every survivor. And a extremely obvious sound notification when one is put down.
Thanks 😊

I’m looking forward to them but I don’t think they’ll be used as much maybe a month after the release.

Honestly, they were never "meta" good to begin with. They are "self care" good. With or without the nerf, they're just a 2 week use perk, then they'll be used about the same amount as Self-Care.
I do think Shadow-Step will be useful, just because there's so many Killer aura-reading perks. But I honestly would like Distortion buffed more, I'd rather use it than Shadow-Step.
Do you see auras of other survivors boon totems??

no release date yet.

I see this from both sides, it's arguments that someone won because of a perk.
-
No, this has already been tested but it was abused by SWF tryhards.
-
I wish they would do that, but it's likely never gonna happen. They did Freddy mains so dirty. Same with Billy. 😥

Stridor did not and does not need a nerf in my opinion. They simply changed how audio can be modified by perks, i think that was fine, but now it has resulted in many add-ons and stridor being completely countered by this one survivor perk.
I'd be so interested if we could get some kind of stats as to how often stridor is being used.

Dead Hard: Tbh I think all exhaustion perks need a drawback. Maybe if they made it so exhaustion applied some kind of debuff.
Unbreakable: I think it should be changed in either one of these ways: Remove the ability to get up, or Make it so you can get up but at a much slower speed.
Iron Will: I think survivors should still have the breathing sound while injured but that's it.
Decisive: It's annoying when the survivor taunts you with it but yes it's generally fine.
Borrowed time: Maybe if they made it so it only works on healthy survivors? Or maybe only injured.
Noed: Noed giving a speed boost would be nice instead of instadowns imo. However there gonna have to add something besides 10% speed. That's not really enough. Maybe quicker endgame collapse or collapse starting immediately when the gens are done.
why move the ability to make survivors get up from unbreakable?? Just hook survivors

I won’t miss Hawkins but still a little sad to see it go though.
