We're talking about, "Killer can see it but they need to still be in the area" type of bright.TAG said:How bright are we talkin' when you attempt to assemble the key? You still have a repair speed increase so just rush the generators.fcc2014 said:I'm good with this.
Explanation: This prevents a "Hatch Standoff" if they just open it while the killer is standing nearby. They will need to make sure that they are safe when they open the hatch. (This part is where i'm confused)
If you approach the hatch and unlock it with the key can the killer still grab you? What is to stop the killer from still camping the hatch?
If two generators have been repaired
-The survivor's repair speed will be set to 2 charges per/second.
Explanation: This is to prevents rushing generators and encourage the survivor to instead craft the key. However, completing generators is still an option if the killer camps the hatch.
If you complete every generator, the killer will now have to worry about the hatch and the exit gates. The killer can only guard 1 of the 3 threats to prevent the survivor from escaping. -

You're joking right? All he had to do was slug, slug and slug. That's it. He coulda got a 3-4 man.
You have to down survivors within a 4 minute timer which is extremely difficult to do considering the variables. You're talking about high ranked survivors and I know, rank doesn't mean anything but it does to a certain extent. High ranked survivors played against so many Nurses that they adapted to fight against her. They know that stealth is Nurse's weakness and they will use it against her.
Yes, Tru3 was able to pull of a 2k against a 4 minute game but that's not the picture... The bigger picture is the fact that the game was over in 4 minutes. This needs addressing ASAP. -
Yes, you are correct: Only the survivor will see the auras! If the killer could then we would run into another standoff which is what we want to avoid.Vietfox said:

Basically the statement above.
I don't know why killers (or players in general) wanna depip to get easier matches against less experienced players.
Because most of them just want to bully newbies, they get a fun experience while a person that barely got into the game gets an awful one, survivors and killers that do this should be banned.
20-15: Newcomers
14-10: Beginners
9-5: Experts
4-1: Professionals
Once you enter a section, you cannot go back to the previous section by depiping but rank reset will ignore this rule. -
@DreamnomadDreamnomad said:It's a great suggestion. The only thing that I feel the need to add is that if someone is running unbreakable, it shouldn't automatically pick them up. There are strategic reasons to wait such as waiting for the killer to get further away or waiting for a friend to pick you up so you can use unbreakable at a later time.
That's why I suggested this here as a solution!
"I can only think of one problem but thankfully its solution is easy to implement!
If you can fully recover with the help of a perk, the game will automatically stop recovering you until when you're just about to recover to the injured state! Once this happens, you'll receive the recover option to confirm the transition to the injured state! This gives you the option to either stay in dying state (like if recovering is bad choice) or recover to the injured state (like if the situation is appropriate). This prevents the wasting of time and perks due to your lack of control!"
@Vietfox You can make a TL;DR for this, I'm terrible at shorting things down.

As you can see in this official graph, DBD is losing players. There's no point in denying it! So why is that?
First of all there's NOED. This perk literally needs to be changed. Killers can just lose the entire match and then suddenly they 4k, just because they have NOED.It's pretty clear now. The Devs are killer favoured. Wasn't a 3k enough? Do they literally need to 4k every single game?
At this point, just buff adrenaline. Let it work for every generator that is finished. Survivors can honestly use this, and I can already see the salty killer mains complaining that it's too strong while they 4k every game.
I'm so done with this game. This is gonna be my very last post.

But I like the idea of healing faster and up 99% with medkit. But not getting up by his own, one survivor should get someone up for the momentum

Hmm, the RBT should have a 3 minute timer with instant activation meaning a generator isn't required to activate a timer. Furthermore, every generator will reduce the timer by 30 seconds or can speed the timer up by 25% (-35 seconds on the first generator then every generator after will have a reduced effect).ToxicFengM1n said:@Nickenzie said:

Automatic repair timer is a 2:30 second timer that automatically activates when a generator is completed assuming no other add-ons are being used. If that wasn't the answer that you was looking for, can you give me a picture on where it said that at!

I just got an idea from reading this, what if there is an add-on for pig, listen here brother, what if there is an add-on for pig that, LISTEN BROTHER, what if there is an add-on for pig that everytime a generator finished if a survivor has the bear trap on, the timer goes down by Xseconds?
-
I really like the idea of pointers within a meter since it can be used to add more mechanics in the game. I asked @not_Queen if SC (or healing in general) could slowly regress over time since you're still bleeding.
Perhaps:
Less than 75% of the meter will be where you perform regular skill checks then after 75% you'll perform skill checks similar to the old BNP skill checks. The old BNP skill checks gave you a skill check every two seconds while the success zones are reduced but you wouldn't gain progression slowly, progression is earned depending on the good and great skill checks. Failing any skill check after 75% won't result in regression nor give the killer a notification. Stopping will cause natural regression over time regardless what your % is at. -

If you have anymore points I'll shoot it down with reasoning and justification.
Yes, you do need Franklin's with something like this in effect, because without a way to remove ALL possibility of a medkit save then situations where you cannot hook at all and would normally slug and continue chasing someone else become unwinnable scenarios. Example: If someone got downed a flashlight squad could easily just bodyblock and tap heal a teammate back up. A sabo squad could be nigh-unbeatable. (a No Mither sabo squad is already difficult to play against if you don't have Hangman's Trick).
To be perfectly clear: This would make one more Killer tactic so risky that if it wasn't hard-countered by a perk, then it couldn't be done at all. Do you understand? The way you play is not how everyone plays, and i'd say it's not even a smart way to play in many circumstances. Your experiences are not universal. Get it?
Edit: Actually, you win. I'm done with this thread; you don't want feedback. You just want to be right and you are either ignoring obvious issues or lack the experience to realize they exist. Regardless, i'm done.
"Example: If someone got downed a flashlight squad could easily just bodyblock and tap heal a teammate back up. A sabo squad could be nigh-unbeatable."
Yeah maybe... but who's on generators? They are wasting resources on something that's not progressing the game so if anything, they are shooting themselves in the foot.
"This would make one more Killer tactic so risky that if it wasn't hard-countered by a perk, then it couldn't be done at all."
Just pick the survivor up and hook them. Slugging is so inefficient anyways. So much that the only time a killer should slug is if they can finish the game right then and there.
"Actually, you win. I'm done with this thread; you don't want feedback. You just want to be right and you are either ignoring obvious issues or lack the experience to realize they exist. Regardless, i'm done."
This is so childish on your part, I'm been accepting feedback in this thread such as increasing the amount of charges required to 24 *coff coff* @EntityDispleased. Additionally, @Entità has been offering some feedback as well and I'm thinking about how I can improve their idea.
About being wrong, I'm completely fine with being wrong but you have to have reasoning and justification to prove me wrong. Think of it as an argumentative essay where you're on side and I'm on the other side while we say our points. -

Pharmacy guarantees an Emergency Med-Kit on your first completed chest search which is the rare (green) variation of the Med-Kits. I appreciate the suggestion, you're one of the few who actually disagreed with reasoning and justification. I think you should only allow it to be used from a purple med-kit. Which would indirectly buff pharmacy (Pharmacy gives a guaranteed purple medkit on first chest search right?). Plus to get the most benefit from running pharmacy you would have to look for a chest and search through one at the beginning of the game. Allowing killers to put more pressure. And this adds something else to be used over self-care/unbreakable which shakes up the meta. But that would pretty much completely kill unbreakable so maybe not have an increased recovery speed. Interesting concept though!

However, unlike Unbreakable... You can see that the survivor has a Med-Kit and know they can recover to the injured state If they have at least 16 charges. You can just pick the survivor up and hook them, no perk is needed there. Therefore, Franklin's won't be mandatory when you can just make it mandatory thing to pick a Med-Kit survivor up and hook them.twistedmonkey said:

Bigblackmori is also correct it would make Franklin's becomes mandatory for a lot of killers out there meaning the whole idea is useless and removes diversity.
Its a buff which is not needed imo as there is unbreakable which does exactly as this would but with a medkits being able to bring you out the dying state you don't have to sacrifice another perk which could be more useful.
I'm not against slugging anyways, this is just some common sense if you have something to heal yourself in a dire situation. Wouldn't you do the same if you had a Med-Kit in your hand and you're bleeding out? -

@BigBlackMori
Nah, you won't notice anything. I think y'all are misunderstanding how this would work. You have to recover like normal or recover with a Med-Kit with increased recovery speed until you reach 95%. Once at 95%, you'll need to use the Med-Kit to pass the recover limit and reach 99% recovery. If you are still holding the recover action for the Med-Kit, you'll recover to the injured state and consume 16 charges. You cannot do this if you have less than 16 charges but you can still use the increase recovery speed if you so please.
Now, for all of this to happen, you'll need to slug a survivor with a Med-Kit having at least 16 charges. If you're the type of killer that slugs then this might hurt if you slug survivors with a Med-kit otherwise, you'll be just fine. Besides, most killers just pick up survivors instantly anyways so this change would go mostly unnoticed.
Yes, it would be noticeable. What you are missing is that while it's not broken by itself its one more way for Survivors to get a do-over when they make a mistake. I would absolutely run Franklin's every game and tunnel medkit users, or just dodge them entirely. Killers cannot afford another mandatory perk to counter a BS Survivor tactic, and this would create just such a situation. It would also make slugging an even more niche tactic and a non-option, which would be bad for Survivors because Killers will be even more reluctant to ever leave someone on the ground if they dont have Franklin's and will therefore tunnel harder (which Survivors dislike and whine endlessly about).
Talking about slugging, I make sure the survivor doesn't have No Mither and if they do, I'll take a 3k anyways since I usually slug when I can easily down the final survivor. Same thing with this change, don't slug a survivor when they have a Med-Kit. No perk needed.

Medkits are fine as they are Imo apart from Insta heal as I think that should have a set of circumstances to be usable such as you cannot be in a chase.
While you are true, this only applies to survivors that have Med-Kits with at least 16 charges. If you down a survivor with a Med-Kit, hook them so they cannot recover back to the injured state. Additionally, Franklin's gets a indirect buff because you can get rid of the Med-Kit as they go down and possibility reduce the amount of charges below 16. Knowing that you need 16 charges to recover to the injured state with a Med-Kit, the Med-Kit is no longer able to recover the survivor to the injured state.
Another thing is that the mechanic is like Deliverance where the survivor could waste 16 charges and backfire. A example is wasting 16 charges to recover when they could've saved those charges if they waited 15 seconds for their teammates to tap them. -
Ah, okay! Yes that's correct, you'll need to reach the 99% mark on the recovery meter before you can use 16 charges and enter the injured state with a Med-Kit. Huge exaggeration on your part and it's actually really bias if I had to be honest. My reasoning is that the survivor will need to recover with a Med-Kit after the 95% limit then use 16 charges to progress to the injured state. Remember, you'll have to slug a survivor with a Med-kit for this to happen so as long as you don't do that, you'll be just fine. Besides, when do you ever slugged a No Mither? I don't think it's ''bias'', but I did misunderstand how it works. I thought if you had a Med-Kit and you were down you could instantly use the Med-Kit to get back up. I must have skipped over the part where you would naturally recover and then use the Med-Kit to get up. That's ok and wouldn't be a problem, I can get behind this. Also ''bias''? Where did that come from?
About the bias, basically it means you are mostly for one side or you have favorites (ofc not the exact definition but a quick way to get the main idea). When you misunderstood and said it's a "insta heal" I thought you didn't like the idea even through it wouldn't make a difference in most killer game. Knowing this, I took it as bias since you did not want something that wouldn't affect most killers which seems like you are picking favorites. Now that I know it's a misunderstanding, it wasn't bias. However bias and a disagreement are two completely different things so not every disagreement can be bias, it could be an actual reason besides "my side is getting nerfed so no". It's complicated to explain really. -

Think about those fog travelers who have waited 30 minutes for a game (just like you) just to see you DC? Now their game is ruined AND they will need to wait another 30 minutes to find another game thanks to you. Lesson learned?
Just don't DC, period.
This is meant for everyone that Deranks/DC's. -
I edit it to be dark since I thought it looked better that way!fluffybunny said:@Nickenzie said:

I had survivors DC because they trapped themselves in a 3 generator strategy.
I made a meme for it.
Why is it so dark? xD

This happens a lot to be honest.Shad03 said:@Nickenzie said:

Tunneling and camping (without reasoning) is a problem. While I do agree that there's a different way to help the survivor in that situation, I don't agree with a free BT.Orion said:@SpongeBob420Pants said:

Why should you be rewarded for failure, and why should the Killer be punished for success? So by "your failure" you mean your teammate preforming an unsafe hook rescue and by "killers success" you mean standing in front of a hooked survivor?
The killer will tunnel because objectively they should, it's the best way to win, I think dying from 1 hook sucks and causes a lot of toxicity which furthers the divide in the community.
By "your failure" I mean the fact that you were hooked (lost at stealth and lost the chase), and by "success" I mean the fact that he hooked you (won at stealth and won the chase).
Your logic here is that Killers should be punished because of toxic Survivors. How is that even remotely fair?
The camping penalty (emblem system) needs to be drastically increased imo. -

Yes, it's really great but it only lags when a Wrath uses this stupid bug.DarkWo1f997 said:
I don’t play wraith so I haven’t noticed it. I also have an external hard drive which supposedly helps with performance a little bit. I‘m just not having any of the issues that other Xbox user says seem to be having. Do you like your X?Nickenzie said:

I feel like for every totem in the map, the generators will take 5% longer which is a maximum of 25%. This actually makes totems a secondary objective and cannot be ignored. Therefore, this will slow the game down while not being generator simulator since you're hunting totems.Vietfox said:I agree, but if devs are going to nerf gens speed they should nerf billy and nurse as well. Why? Because they got enough map pressure with the current gen speed.
