Doesn't really bother me, but if you destroy it directly in front of me, I'll give you special treatment from my Nurse.
It's the same thing with generators, and to some extent, Exit Gates.
It's just annoying to watch it happen directly in front of you when you feel powerless as the power role. :(

My question is why have not other killers been brought in line why is just pig? Maybe they have and that might be a stupid question.. I am sure spirit can apply exposed while coming out of phase but sorry if I'm confused here.
I think it's more of a case us piggy mains feel alittle upset it is alot of changes to her and I will always completely understand even though I don't understand or think it's needed.
But I do shake my head at how some people choose to play her in all honestly. That's why pig can't have nice things always some that will abuse things to just be unfair or unfun.
🐷❤️
@Peanits told me they are going to be doing the same thing with LF with Speed Limiter. :)
I understand your point, and they are doing this to all killers - it just takes time.

So there's this Perk called Enduring, speeding up Pallet stun time with 75%.
And looking at this number, i think: What action or interaction can be sped up tremendously through a Perk without it being broken?
Do you know an (inter)action you think wouldn't be broken if a Perk speeding up that (inter)action is buffed well beyond its current value?
Or perhaps there's an (inter)action that currently isn't affected and can be sped up with a Perk without it being broken?
And i'm talking about EVERYTHING except movement speed, so this includes but is not limited to vaulting, hitting, missing, dropping Survivor, hooking, Locker search, Locker grab, Pallet break, etc. etc. etc.
I can see damaging generators getting sped up just a little to help with time management.
Opening the Exit Gates should be instant, period. :D
Killer specific animations such a Pig putting a RBT on you can be sped up as a QoL change.

Nurse doesn't have ultra-rares, so she has only ebonies :(
The same for Billy and Bubba. They accumulate mories easily because they have no actual choice.
Oh yeah, and that's another reason why I'm excited for her rework because every mystery box is an Ebony Mori! :(

But you missed the point that it was bugged after the change, which was my whole point.
@Peppa_Pigsaw I think Groot is saying they are making every attack that's not a M1 attack don't count as a basic attack for consistancy purposes.
It was a bug that ambush attacks were counted as a basic attack because they were not a M1 attack - it's a M2 attack.
It can be a nerf if you let it be one. For example, Save The Best For Last doesn't lose tokens when you Ambush Attack your Obsession. :)
Edit: My grammar is awesome "It's was" 😂

THANK YOU! So many people even the devs act like one-shot downs are scary, and they're really not unless it's like Nurse with MYC, or if you're in a deadzone.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/696637#Comment_696637
No worries. It has a limit of 32, I think you can extend it with your TR with Distressing and other perks. You can also make it unlimited with an UR addon. I've actually written up a fix to Legion that keeps him in-line, keeps the m1 playstyle, and lets him have mobility, power, and stall while removing the moonwalking/frank's. I'll post it below, it's obviously subject to change, but this was something I wrote up real fast that I felt could work while keeping his initial uniqueness, but also remove what made him feel unfun.
Also, anyone who claims they know Legion, but didn't play how he is now when he was 110, I disregard. So many people only played with Frank's, and moonwalked, while refusing to try to m1 and act like this new Legion has a new playstyle. Nah, you could do it effectively at 110 and while it was harder, it was a lot of fun.
Take base Legion pre-nerf and go from there.
-Bump to 115.
-No more downing with FF, no more drain in TR.
-If you fully deplete DW it now adds an action speed penalty for up to x(a minute maybe?)
-If they mend the action speed penalty applies for 30s instead.
-You can still multi-stab as before, but draining the bar just gets you closer to the "mangled" debuff. 3 stabs to drain.
-Keep the rework pins, but they now apply when picked up from dying state, or when rescued from hook, and apply first application of DW.
-SWS reworked to 1 less stab to put a survivor into "mangled" and extends the timers by 10s for mended, 15s for "mangled"
-Frank's reworked to every successful application of DW you gain increasing movement speed until you stab someone who is already in DW, or cancel Feral Frenzy.
-Fuming Mix Tape reworked to you have infinite feral frenzy outside of a chase. This doesn't work with Killer Instinct even if you drop a chase. Will only apply on a fresh Feral Frenzy.(edited)
However, just keep in mind that no one is perfect, so one shot downs are scaled depending on your skill and consistency.
I watch Zubatlel and he's an excellent survivor, but he still make mistakes. Human error is something we will all run into at some point, and that's probably why people cleanse or heal because we know we will mess up eventually. :)
Overall, if you're not confident, heal or play it very safe, but otherwise, who cares if you're a one shot?

If you don't heal Legion is still able to get you though. Not healing is just as bad as healing, just like Plague. You either heal and he injures you again, or you don't and you're a 1 hit down which makes it easier. Also, again, that second FF would have given you full Thanataphobia stacks. If they were SWF, then yeah We'll Make It likely would have still done a lot for them, but it still would have slowed them down, and take it from someone who's dealt with sloppy a lot. It hurts, it hurts bad.
Actually, if you're really good at running loops, being a one shot down shouldn't be a problem to you. The only time being a one shot down is a problem is when you think you're going to get hit by the killer.
All in all, great survivors don't need to heal when they can run loops so good that the killer can't get a hit in. :)

Again, how do I apply pressure here when they're making me ping pong back to back on gens on opposite sides of the map? If I focused on a chase I give up the gen on the other side. If I don't chase, I give them time to heal/work on the other gen.
There's really not much you can do in that video, and yes, I seen you made some mistakes as the killer. However, I don't think it would be fair to say that was the problem because I know if you didn't mess up, you still would have lost in my opinion. :)

100% agreed. You're definitely at your weakest early game having to spend time to find a survivor. I usually have good luck and know the spawns fairly well. Even then between finding and the subsequent chase you're going to lose gens if they're smart.
I'd really like it if we had gears or something needed to fix the gens before you can repair them. If regressing it worked like Overcharge and you had to hit skillchecks before being able to repair it again. Anything really.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/696336#Comment_696336
Ah, very true. A disciple of Morf's I see. :^)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/696337#Comment_696337
See, and I could just go Nurse. I know in the end I said Ebony Omega Nurse time, but I don't really play the hard meta killers much. I don't run addons, I don't run Ruin or Sloppy(I think they're both trash if I'm being honest). I try my best to double hook everyone, I don't tunnel etc. Sadly I think it's come to the point where I can't play my fave which is Legion. Hell, I played M1 addonless Legion before his masssive nerf and still had fun/did well. If games keep up like this then yup, I'll have to play Nurse. At least her new skin looks fantastic.
We have to be careful with what we choose because if we add a requirement of gears, survivors won't be at generators during the beginning of the Trial - they are looking for gears. The killer won't have any clues to find and initiate a chase, then once all of the gears are finished, the same thing will happen.
Personally, I think we need Fuse Boxes that survivors need to repair once the generators are completed because it gives you a place to find survivors unlike your suggestion. They will need to find a fuse, and once they grab a fuse, maybe you see a noise notification?
I hate to post this in your thread, but I feel like it's necessary instead of me writing a wall of text about how to add a second objective for survivors! :)
@NMCKE said:
Prologue
I'm going to make this short, all killers have been gen-rushed at some point, and survivors definitely don't like how fun™ generators are currently. There has been many suggestions on how to add a second objective, but I thought about adding a second part to the game rather than increasing what we have already! :)
Fuse Boxes & Fuses
Fuse Boxes Appearance
Fuse Boxes are now the survivors' second objective, and will key to their escape. Their size and width is comparable to a city phone booth, but it's enclosed in a metal box with a opentable metal door.
Fuses
There will be 5 Fuse Boxes in every Trial, and they will be activated when all 5 generators are completed. Survivors will see the auras of all Fuses once they complete all 5 generators, and once they pick it up, they cannot be dropped in any circumstance. Survivors must carry Fuses to a Fuse Box in order to start repairing them.
More Information:
- Survivors can carry both an item and a Fuse simultaneously.
- Survivors can only carry one Fuse at a time.
Fuse Boxes Activation
Upon interacting with a Fuse Box whilst having a Fuse will prompt a series of difficult skill checks. These skill checks are comparable to Brand New Parts skill checks, and they don't have any penalties when you fail them. Survivors must complete 2 skill checks in a row in order to fix the Fuse Box. Survivors must fix a certain amount of Fuse Boxes to gain the ability to open the Exit Gates, and completing more Fuse Boxes will speed up how fast they can open the Exit Gates:
1 Fuse Box Replaired: Both Exit Gates can't be opened.
2 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 25% the normal opening speed.
3 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 50% the normal opening speed.
4 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 75% the normal opening speed.
5 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at the normal opening speed.
End Game Collapse Update
When the hatch is closed by the killer or an Exit Gate is opened, Fuse Boxes will change behavior:
0 Fuse Box Replaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at the normal opening speed.
1 Fuse Box Replaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 120% the normal opening speed.
2 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 140% the normal opening speed.
3 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 160% the normal opening speed.
4 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 180% the normal opening speed.
5 Fuse Boxes Repaired: Both Exit Gates can now be opened at 200% the normal opening speed.
Generator Update
Good skill checks and great skill checks will now be separated from each other by a random distance, and great repair success zones are increased by 50% to compensate.
Epilogue
Fuse Boxes will change everything, and survivors will now have more things to do besides doing generators. Hopefully, you like this idea as much as I do, and if you have any suggestions, please leave me constructive feedback! :)

One chase, 3 gens. Even if I had found Claud, or dropped trying to look for her I'd still have lost 3 gens minimum before getting a single hook. Of course after this I was told to just apply pressure, how easy the game was, etc, etc. Please, explain to me how I was supposed to pressure those gens, and keep up the chase, and somehow prevent them from doing that within the first minute?
Also, before anyone says it, don't say just run Ruin. That wouldn't solve anything. Every time I have run ruin it blows at the beginning of the match, or the gens pop anyway cuz they're not rank 20s who can't hit skillchecks. I get that Legion is arguably one of the worst killers in the game now due to the pitiful "rework" but I don't think any killer outside of maybe Nurse or Billy would've done anything here. Even then plenty of safe pallets and loops so I still probably would've had a rough time.
Notice how that was the first instinct, just run to the pallet. Some didn't even try to run the loop, just sat at the pallets, not on the end to extend the chase. What I can do then? Nothing, I can eat the pallet, or run after you. There is nothing I can do in that situation, I just lose. I can't even catch up to anyone. I played the second Frenzy badly cuz for some reason my game was running sluggish and I haven't played them in a while so that's on me, but there's just nothing I could do in this match.
Yet I'm told constantly told how easy killer is, how op killers are including Legion. How hard it is to play survivor. I don't get how afking and holding m1 is difficult. Especially when you get a good runner. Of course I'll probably get flamed, and this'll be ignored by the devs cuz, "It's just them doing their objective." Funny enough they complained about me camping their friend end-game like I had a choice.
I don't get why survivors think they're slick waving and taunting, I'm not leaving when gates are powered. You come get your friend, or I'm camping them to death. I have no other objectives to defend and I'm not risking you running out the gate or looping me while the others save. Don't even try.
No, I don't want free wins, I don't want easy games. I want to feel like I have a chance to play the game. I either play like a complete #########, or I just lose all my gens and get no points/emblems while being told how easy the game is, and how bad I am. Killers are supposed to be the power role, don't get how it's going on 3 years now and people STILL cannot seem to grasp that concept, but oh well.
Personally, I think it's the beginning part of the game that's the problem because you have no pressure. All 4 survivors are free to do whatever they want because there's no rescuing they need to do until the first survivor is hooked.
I think we need something to help the killer during the first 2 minutes of the game, and preferably, a fun second objective. :)
-
Ooo, killers would be jealous if survivors got that! :D

@NMCKE BHVR is NOT a small company. They have 600 employees.
We have bad performance on console since the release, that's more than two years. We are not talking about a single bug that has only been existing for two weeks.
Actually 500 people (from Google), and that is split across 2 games and not everyone works on optimization. Also, not everyone works all at once, so they might do a 250 split across the week. Half of the company works while the other takes a break, then they switch. :)
Therefore, they might have 5 to 10 people working on optimization. 5 to 10 people isn't nearly enough to make things happen at the peace you're wanting it. Like I said, you got to be patient, and in all honesty, they have been making some progress towards optimization.

BHVR is not a small new company anymore. Larger companies have a higher amount of programmers, but those companies also release more games.
The game is not coded well, you can notice that by a lot of small and not-so-small things. Saying it's the consoles' fault is simply not true. No reason not to be honest here.
There are a lot of problems with the game in its current state and not talking about them or putting the blame on where it doesn't belong doesn't help anybody. Criticizing the game doesn't mean being "disloyal" to the devs. You can love the game & be a fan and still talk about the problems.
I have criticized the developers before, take a look here. :)
@Kenshin said:
really devs? really? you already nerfed the ######### out this perk before we could even test it? yall never change i guess 🤢
I'll admit they should set their priorities better, but they are still a small company, and small companies are extremely limited on what they can and cannot do - I think you noticed that already. Cut them a break, and give it some time. :)

The point is: DbD should not be demanding. Titles like Overwatch or Slashers like Devil May Cry run totally fine on console, with way better graphics at the same time, while in theory they should be a lot more demanding than DbD.
That's just a case of DbD not being coded well. The devs need to put time into optimization.
BHVR is still just a beginning company, and they are just now catching up to other large companies. You can't expect a rather new company to have everything perfect, especially when they don't have dedicated servers ready.
BHVR is working on it, give them some time because they can only do so much with the stuff they have. :)
-
I think it's more about your console - it's just getting out dated when the game is becoming more demanding on the system.
Therefore, the developers should have a graphics feature where you gain better FPS at the cost of graphics. This can benefit all players who can't afford a better setup, but still want to play the game! :)

Yeah, you probably got a sweaty SWF squad from the last rank season who haven't ranked up yet. :)
I seen your other thread about it happening in multiple games, and it seems like you're getting matched with survivors who appear to be rank 11, but are actually rank 1 from the last season.

So, would it have been too powerful to have Tier 3 block all Vaults for 60 seconds when the last Gen was completed? That would have made this perk good as this perk is extremely map reliant and unusable on most maps.
I wouldn't mind this, but if you combined my idea with your idea, the perk should be pretty solid.
Basically, any survivors within 16 meters to a completed generator will have all of their vaults blocked for 30 seconds. Then when the last generator is completed, your idea can take effect. :)

I was demo on shelter woods, and despite my best efforts, the game was 3-4 minutes long.
Do any of you see something wrong with that?
If that does not prove that killers have no power than I do not know what will.
I suspect one of two things:
- You got a game with a De-pip Squad SWF.
- I hate to break the news to you, but you were either outplayed or made too many mistakes.
I hardly ever see a game fly by that fast, so maybe it was the combination of 1 and 2? I can see you doing your best, but if the survivors you're facing are just way better than your best, then I think your rank is messed up in my opinion. You shouldn't be faced with survivors who out right destroy you - the ranking system should give both teams should an equal chance of winning. However, no offense, since the survivors you were facing are way better than you, they probably had a higher rank than you? Maybe that's the problem? :)

She's still OP, man you must be a killer main because she needs:
- Her Phase must take 60 seconds to fully recharge.
- Her passive is removed as it's deemed as hacking
- You can now see her while she's phasing
- Before Spirit is allowed to Phase in the Trial, she must walk up to each survivor and get a signature from all of them to get her Phase Permit License. If one survivor doesn't sign, she's not allowed to use Phase at all.
- If she wants to kick a generator, she must appoint a meeting with the last survivor who made progress on that generator. If there isn't a consensus between that survivor and the Spirit, she cannot kick generators at all.
Boom, balanced! :)

How the ######### does blindness make swf stronger??
Like I can see (see what I did there twice?) them not being affected, but to say it makes them stronger?
Unlike SWF who can use voice communication to give away their location to their teammates, solos rely on auras to give away their location to their teammates.
If you have 2 survivor teams, one solo and one SWF, both affected by blindness, who's going to doing better?

I just played a game against pallet Freddy which I figured was already a win since I use small game. I did some gens but made sure to throw his pallets down, also due to small game, his ruin and noed became useless.
That Freddy probably thought I was cheating since I kept throwing them down. We all escaped and the only perk he got to use was bbq since we all escaped before he could down anyone during endgame so no bloodwarden.
In conclusion, small game>pallet Freddy.
It's quite useless within a chase because of a few factors:
- It doesn't tell you how many traps are in your 45° cone - only, there's a trap in your 45° cone. This means you can have a situation where you know one pallet is fake, and the other is real, knowing one is fake won't help you pick the right one.
- You have to focus on the killer, or risk getting hit due to micro management. Sometimes you can't afford to multitask during the heat of a chase, and if you try to, you will miss out on important information from the killer. You might see if this pallet is fake, but while you're checking, the killer could be doing a mind game you're oblivious to.
- Perk has a 10 second cool-down. At the very most, you will be able to deduce a pallet every 10 seconds, and you will need to travel the map to get more pallets. The perk isn't that useful in a chase because you're more focused on the killer, and the perk has a cool-down of 10 seconds.
All in all, Small Game is fine, and rarely anyone uses it. If the perk were to give an aura, then I would agree since it's precise, but it's not - it's not a problem.

Have fun! No, seriously, do whatever you gotta do, just remember to have fun! This is a great game made by some top-notch devs and I think we all get a little too caught up in the problems and negativity. So, I'm trying to do my part in spreading a little bit of positivity and appreciation!
Glad someone appreciates the developers here! :)

Nah see the Killers aura when you get a safe unhook lol.
The forums would be on fire for weeks if this actually happened.

Just give WGLF the BBQ aura effect and watch the forums get set on fire.
No offense in anyway, but I find this BBQ vs WGLF arguement very contradicting. Here's my reasoning behind this...
BBQ Arguement:
"The aura reading reduces camping, so BBQ is fine. It benefits both the killer and the survivor."
WGLF Arguement:
"Nah, don't add this suggestion to WGLF, even through it reduces farming and it's a serious issue for survivors."
Everyone complains about how WGLF encourages farming, which is understandable, so why is a suggestion that reduces farming a problem? If BBQ prevents camping, why is a perk suggestion that reduces the survivors' equivalent of camping a problem? :(
We both want the same thing here, and the survivor is sacrificing a perk. I just think it's fair to give them something that helps them get a safe unhook - it's the core goal of the perk. :)

How is the hooked survivor supposed to judge whether his random teammate has BT, is willing to tank a hit, has an insta-heal etc?
While it would be nice sometimes to deny an unhook as the hooked person, it would lead to more problems than we currently have.
I'll name some situations:
Situation
Let's say you're dead in 10 seconds or you're really close to struggle, and you see a teammate coming to save you with the killer.
Thought Process
You minus well let them unhook you - what else do you have to lose at that point?
What Can Happen
Boom, the survivor has BT, and if they don't, you was going to die or enter struggle anyways. If you would've kicked them, you would've just died or went to struggle. You have to judge the situation.
Another situation
You see BT time activate in the game, and 5 minutes later you are hooked. Almost immediately, you see a survivor rushing to unhook you when the killer hasn't left the proximity yet.
Thought Process
If you put two and two together, you can safely assume that's the survivor with BT - let them unhook you instead of kicking them.
What Can Happen
Worse case scenario the killer has to go through 2 health states trying to rehook you. If you kick them, you will potentially cause them to get downed while you're hooked, bad play because the killer now has huge momentum.

Mind Games as the survivor :(
