It needs to include a rocket lasuncher or mini-gun.

I love it when survivors play hyper-altruistic. It might be my best chance to win.
Way better than them just holding M1 with Prove Thyself and a spancy toolbox.
-
The hag is supper noob stomper (but really, which killer isn’t?).
You can get beat up by experienced survivors who have some flashlights more than most killers.
Twins can do a few things that other killers can’t. I’ve gotten 4k’s from games I would have been stuck with 2k cover both gates at at the same time, the speed and lethality of Victor to wounded survivors. . . but she has been nerfed and made frustratingly clunky to play with.
-
I’m learning nurse right now. Amazing how many survivors just rage quit when you hit them once. . .
I’m not that good at nurse. Like a decent survivor and map could loop me for 6 minutes. Even 3 v 1, they have a decent chance at surviving.
-
I used to main Nemi. His zombies were fun, but mostly pointless with moments of absolute OP fun.
the truth is that zombies need to weak, otherwise he’d be OP.
Some better pathing would be nice and some add-ons not related to zombies would be nice.
-
I think twins will be better if take away the time from going from victor to Charlotte. It takes like 5 seconds to recover from downing someone, then transfer to charlotte. Takes forever.
-
I had the weirdest match this am. I went up against a SWF of 3. I’m learning nurse (I suck at her). These 3 jokers send us to the game and all have no mither, boil over, flip flop and breakdown.
I get all three of them in the engine room downstairs but I physically cannot get them to a hook despite basement being right there. I slug them all and play wack a mole till one dies. Then I’m able to get one to a hook.
Seemed like they were totally memeing. . . But I’m not sure what to make of it.

Don’t forget your Miralax.

It's kinda wild to me that Botany is this slept on, considering it's incredible.
Self-Care being so high up is also mind-boggling. Apparently it's a regional thing, and I'm so curious how players in those other regions use it...
Botany is a great perk, but the fact is that med-kits are so amazingly powerful that the downside to medkits overshadows the greatness of the perk.

Survivors DC on death hook after a long match where they should of accumulated a good amount of points.
Clearly some people are more petty than greedy.
So annoying. They help the killer out (takes longer to carry them to a hook and burns a hook), and deal with a DC penalty. Sounds really childish. Oh well. I guess that is why I main killer.
-
I was playing Plague on Deaddog with an aura build (lethal pursuer, darkness, with Floods). See a survivor who is running No Mither (who apparently was running a chest build) I turn the corner and down him while he was opening a chest and put him on a scourge hook. Get 15 feet away and his not so buddy unhooks him then while running away sand bags him. He gets his second hook, I slug another, then chase another survivor who loops me back to the downed survivor. . .and the no mither guy is trying to heal him off the ground and makes a poor turn. 3rd Hook and they just finished 2 gens. I wasn’t trying to tunnel. . . . .
-
Then bring The Game map offering…..

I have thousands of hours so I am significantly better than the average player. Especially at killer. I'm not as good at survivor but still competent.
I have almost a couple thousand hours. . . . But i have no idea how much of that is idle time while my computer was left on overnight. . . .
Survivor: 4ish
Killer 6
when I happen to play the same killer consistently 7-8, which has been so many I can’t keep track. Hag, Nemmy, Pinhead, PH, Bubba, deathslinger. Kinda sorta focusing on plague and I want to love Trickster. . . .

Videos don't lie. Killer mains are always winning while survivors are usually losing. What more evidence do we need? The game is being balanced for bad killers.
People who play 20+ hours a week for literally years should win most of the time. . . . . . Even they still lose pretty regular. Otz has basically stopped doing 50 win streaks on killers because MMR makes it nearly impossible. Four good (not even great) survivors will usually get to end game. Killers usually have a few distinct advantages in end game.
-
Are the old basement challenges still bugged?
-
I am basically the worse nurse at my MMR (I’m using the location addon to try a and do some challenges). Just frighten hilarious when I blink near them (no hits mind you) and they d/c. . .. . .
The really sad thing is that survivors don’t even have to be that good to get at least a couple out every game.

So the free gen pressure and anti-loop they provide isnt enough? Sad.
Zombies do nothing in 8/10 games. They are mildly annoying to survivors in most of the rest, and do some amazing ######### in 0.002% of the games.
I personally think they are fun. They aren’t meant to be powerful. It is just kinda annoying that Nemmy’s add-on are mostly related to them.

I am assuming you both run the perk with your comments. Would you still run it if the skill check had a cool down?
I don’t run the perk except in meme builds. It seems really strong against meh survivors, but it does almost nothing against decent survivors.
I’m a decent killer and a so-so survivor, and I can hit the skill-checks like 60%.
-
NOED is a great perk for those exposed challenges.
-
I mean, most decent survivors have no problem hitting overcharge skill checks.
-

To be honest this shouldn't even be happening.
Don't survivors get the hex notification for pentimento
Yep. Admittedly, I’m mostly a killer main (the recent ques have pushed me to survivor) and the last time i had a hex build (i don’t sweat my survivor games) it took me forever to realize that the killer was using hex pentimento. I was losing my brain trying to figure out how I cleaned 7 totems. . .
-
Someone who has saved blood points from 11 tombs could probably do it pretty quick.
-
Loud chase music is there for a reason. To help survivors. If killers could just turn it off, it would be so much easier to hear survivor grunts, breathing, and footsteps.
-
Dumb question, but can you get this by doing a red mori?
-
As a killer main, I’m like 95% with happy with how DS is right now. No where near as bad, and DS isn’t as ubiquitous as it used to be. 95% happy is probably as good as I hope to be with BHVR. I’ll take it.
DH, on the other hand, is just plain annoying.

What really baffels me about the Twins is that they are somehow supposed to play catch with each other and herd the survivors into each others arms, yet you have this super long, sluggish weak up periods when switching. Whats the design idea behind this? Shouldn't the switch be blistering fast, so that you can really switch back and forth? This whole thing feels so backward, I really can't even start to wrap my head around.
That was part of a series of nerfs the twins got. Weird that a killer with a fast mini-me that can efficiently down, but not hook survivors encouraged a slug play style that many survivors complained about.
I got the challenge. 10m is further than you think, and it really helps to be on a little hill.

Nah man. Ttrickster is probably the second worst killer in the game. He would need much more than a speed buff to be even remotely oppresive.
A good trickster isn’t half bad. In certain situations he is really good. Second in only to bubba in the ability to chew through health states. Some times, he totally sucks, but others is is great.
-
I think an alternate would be to have another perk or two that starts you as injured and broken .
Something like recover exhausted while running at half speed and double while not running.
-
I think coup as is one of those high skill perks that really only benefit people who are really good. I’ve seen some good streamers pull off really crazy downs with coup.
It is ok for there to be those perks in the game, but I never run it as I’m not one of those high skill people.
-
It is mostly fine. I wish they would just fix the distribution. If they wanted to do something like hook closest to the totems.
I kinda like agitation. It is one of those perks that isn’t the best, but I usually seem to get value out of. (And I just hate the whole Boil Over/flip flop/unbreakable thing. I don’t know why, but it just does.

Nah you dont need to play the other side to see whats wrong and whats not. Just play survivor and you understand the whole game.
Except where they have no idea how hard something is for killer. Sometimes killers do some things because they are really skilled vs. the survivors. Other times it is simply a strong build. If you just play survivor, you don’t know.
-
@Plu said:
Wait he's good now? I tought everyone called him trash months ago? Also i never see him so i have no idea how he is to go against.
He’s B tier, maybe low A tier at best with best addons. The issue is that the chain hunt can snowball real bad if no one does the box, or does the box right in front of the killer. SoloQ has a harder time doing the main objective, and often gets steamrolled when you have something else to do.
He isn’t that bad to go against. His power is otherwise decent if you are good at it, but punishing if you mess up. I like playing him, but I am not good at using his chains, but it is borderline criminal hilarious to see teams fall apart if you get the cube a couple times.
-
I get called a tunneler like half the games. Most of the times, I don’t intentionally tunnel. I find it amazing how often a player gets unhooked, the unhooker hides, and the wounded player runs to an unsafe area. . . . . What do I do? Spend time looking for the claudette with sprint burst waiting?
-
I’ve gotten stunned plenty. In in 90% of the maps, there is a ######### ton.
-
The OP should try and play Nemmy for a few rounds.
I love playing him, but missing your whips can make him super frustrating and punishing. I also like how the zombies are RNG. Most of the times completely uses less, but on occasion, they carry the game. (Really fun with 75% or 100% speed addons).
Nemmy is a good killer, but certainly not top tier nor OP. I think his gameplay is fun for both Survivors and killer. Honestly a really good spot right now.
-
Cleans on fountains away from gens, or edge or wait till the end of the game is probably the best strategy.
I thought about maining Plague. Still might, i just kinda like variety.

Play the best you can, maybe even record the match and rewatch it afterwards, I can guarantee you will spot somethings you did wrong, or you didnt play as perfectly as you think
This isnt meant to belittle, as some might think. This is something I do and I have over 4k hours in the game, and every time I get stomped and rewatch the game there are several things I could of done better
I occasionally watch myself in the TTV survivors i go against.
I watch myself from one of the survivors perspective. I learned something: I suck at (granted, i just picked up Bubba) but if it wasn’t for the absolute suckage of the three other people (who were obviously a console SWF), it would have been a 0-1k easy. I highly recommend this.
-
The beginnings stages of killer are honestly pretty easy. Noob survivors don’t know how to loop, don’t know the tiles, don’t know how to use pallets don’t all have BT and DS. Some even don’t realize that trying to get yourself off a hook is a bad idea.
-
Time to get gud at Plague. :)
-
I’m a killer main. The reason I’m a killer main is because soloQ sucks.
I fully agree that the biggest threat to survivors isn’t the killer.. . . It’s the worthless teammates.

Agreed on this.
though I don’t really know any license with a fitting character tbh..
maybe an android from Alien (Bishop), but even then there are better fitting human chars
I have to admit, a mori special for Bishop would be fun wit ripping his head off. . . Maybe a confused look on some of the killers, then they toss it aside.
Honestly that sounds like too much.
-
Attack on titan.
-
Not being able to switch killers mid lobby is annoying. I have like 700 hours in this game, and still only have most of my killers on 40. Only on a couple do i have even half of them unlocked.

What’s truly terrifying is the SWF I played against were chill and just having fun. They weren’t even going hard at me but they never made a mistake or missed a beat dealing out commands and updates on locations and such. If they took it real sweaty and serious it would have been ten times worse for me. I honestly can’t see how even a top tier killer like Otz or True can go up against SWF who are this coordinated on comms
Otz has a good vod of him going against a team (that smashed him before). He played as Freddy, and made the object obvious and tunneled him out.
Again, he came in with a plan, knew he was going up against them (and they didn’t), and played well.
Killer is only made playable in this game because most survivors aren’t seal team 6. The amount of survivors that DC on first hood is amazing. I’m only a middling killer, and I try not to get too emotionally invested . . . But sometimes its frustrating as hell.

Dude I loved that game too! I hope they do a remaster sometime with extra content.
Back for Blood is coming out soon and is supposed to be the spiritual successor to L4D (and I think is made by the same people mostly)
I’m looking forward to the release of Back 4 Blood in June. Might even push me to get the new Xbox. . . .
-
I play Bill because I played a crud ton of L4D. The best zombie game ever, even though it was half baked when it was released.
I had no idea that people had such strong feelings as to which survivor cosmetic people used.
