I doubt the killers assumed you were SWF. They probably just assumed you all were running boon perks and didn't want to deal with it. I've seen some killers say they'll dodge a lobby with even just one Mikaela.
When a killer leaves the lobby, your lobby gets priority in procuring a new killer. That doesn't help if someone disconnects on the loading screen, but when you're having long survivor queues, that's a good time to switch to playing killer for instant matches.
Man I went against a lobby with three of them having boons and it was the most exhausting match I had to dealt with. Every time I snuff a boon another one pops up that eventually I stopped snuffing it because there's three of them across the map.
-
I enjoy playing him probably my favorite killer recently. His power is just so fun to use and I like the skill ceiling on the killer, really rewards you if you took the time to learn him. He is also fun to verse against if you played blight you would have a clear idea on what he can and can't do except 180 flicks but honestly props to them that ######### is hard to learn and is amazing to see. It's even rarer than God nurses.
-
I honestly don't see the point of Fearmonger if you're just gonna snipe from afar. Like you're not even downing them or anything, it's just minor inconvenience that people can repel. Also I think you can hear the bird coming anyway like there's a sound cue. But it is a good perk if you don't want to deal with exhaustion on chases though. Really good if you set up a dead zone already.

It created the an army of everything really. Smurfs, cheaters, baby players who watched too many youtube videos so I'm gonna bring clicky clicky.

than why you wasting time in here, not trying better at other things in life?
your words not even based on stats or simply forgot people playing their own skill and experiences,
short thinkers usually not good at anything start with but they can't understand just a bit below of their level later
What does that even mean? Lmao.
What stats? The guy said his teammates is staring at a foliage. That's fact. Your teammate is low skilled. You getting low skilled teammates therefore give everyone buffs please because woe is me is dumb. People love to say that the game shouldn't be balanced around low skilled players yet here we are people preaching that players should have their hands held.

You don't need perfect coordination. You do need your team to be competent though. If you could rely on teammates to be competent you'd actually never need Kindred. I run it all the time because my teammates usually aren't competent.
Running Kindred wouldn't suddenly make Randoms competent though it'll just make them efficient. They could still go down in 10 seconds in a chase, etc and Kindred wouldn't change the fact that they're still dumb. Plus if you're using Kindred it means you go down pretty often unless you're using Kindred to get an idea on what you should in conjunction with your teammates like Should I do generator or do I go for save? then that's fair enough.
I do find this one rule that helps you win a game. Just drag the killer away from objectives getting worked on It helps a lot really if you're working on this mindset I would say Bond is better so you'll get an idea to stay away from your teammates working on a generator.

great now tell it to the 3 terrible teammates i get with sub-500 hours that leads to me doing 4 gens solo, save and heal everyone, and get chased for a further 3 minutes while they decide to stare at the foliage
because you completely ignored my point that you know your teammates and you know they're reliable which is a massive advantage too. try again x
Your teammates being terrible isn't a Communication problem. They're just low skilled players.
Solos should strive to get better as a player and again not get hand holded.

I actually don’t care about SWF.
So you’re admitting you’re just blowharding here and not actually thinking critically or constructively about this?
Kindred is only a “god-tier” perk BECAUSE of coordinated SWFs. Gens only fly fast BECAUSE of coordinated SWFs. Your inability to see that doesn’t negate it.
Critically about what? I play both sides equally. SWF aren't the problem again the game is inherently is broken is the problem.
You don't need coordinated nonsense to just hold M1 as soon as the match starts. Only reason three gens aren't popping is Random usually do stupid things like go for flash light fails, etc. Sounds like an individual problem.

Most of what SWF can do, Randoms can do just fine.
Boy if you knew how many times I could have survived if my team knew I had DS.
I don't run DS. Very overrated perk really. Hence I made this topic

I refuse to hand hold survivors by giving them a free perk in their base kit. Giving them what they want is what destroys this game's balance when they have the option to fix an issue.
Or, and hear me out here because I know this is a novel concept, but we listen to the majority of the community and we make further balance changes within the same update to compensate.
Holy #########, I know! It's practically the writings of Freud back in the 1800s!
Most of what SWF can do, Randoms can do just fine.
The information disparity contributes towards the coordination, and the coordination is why the gens can get slammed out. Of course if you were given more time you'd kill them, same with solos, but the reason you don't have more time is due to their ability to coordinate builds and strategies and change on the fly and actually use 4 meta perks instead of needing information perks to have the same abilities, and thus taking away the ability to use DS/DH/IW/BT/SB/UB/COH, etc.
Lmfao you don't need coordinated builds or coordinated actions to win the game. You're not playing an actual competitive team based game like CSGO where the coordination has to be perfect.
Here's the golden rules to winning Solo Q.
Hold W away from objectives getting worked on or from the hooked individuals and get downed somewhere far away
Stop messing around and just hold M1 as soon as the game starts
Use kindred if you're not confident with your game and map sense(I only use kindred because it's a guilty pleasure perk similar to vault build hence the open hand)
One gen each since a killer can't stop 4 survivors across the map from holding m1
Ez Win. All the killer can do is secure a kill and this is how most of my matches go, this is just a match I did early in the morning where matchmaking is screwed and got pepegas. I have gen rushed competent killers as a Solo Q a lot. It's not an SWF thing.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Why do we do that? Because solo survivors shouldn't be forced to use a perk- maybe two- of their limited and often uncoordinated builds for information that SWF players get for free. Thinking they should be forced to do so helps perpetuate the continual cycle of imbalance this game faces and will face.
To get the information SWF have for free by using perks, you'd need to be using Alert, Windows, Aftercare, Small Game, Kindred, Open Handed, Plunderers, Visionary and Deja Vu together, a cheeky little Detective's Hunch, maybe a dash of Sabo's aura reading too, and definitely more I've forgotten. SWF have all of these with the added benefit of build coordination, reliable teammates, and all with 4 perk slots remaining each.
That's why :)
I refuse to hand hold survivors by giving them a free perk in their base kit. Giving them what they want is what destroys this game's balance when they have the option to fix an issue. I thought the game shouldn't be balanced around baby players?
Also I actually don't care about SWF. SWF aren't the problem but they do highlight a glaring flaw in the game and that generators goes too fast. I wouldn't care about SWF if you actually have the time to deal with them. Most of what SWF can do, Randoms can do just fine.
-
Thought they buffed that perk on the 7.0.0 patch notes?
-
I'm confused.

My premade is more than 6000 thousand hours. For all the time I've been playing, 70 percent of the killers won't hit yo survivors if they're using the correct infinite loops and pallets. As a killer you get 3 to 4 chases and goodbye the gens.
Pretty much. Also got a premade I sometime play with and everyone is relatively new to the game(200 hours) beside me. One pepega can just last 30-40 seconds in a chase by dropping pallet no looping and as long as everyone obeys the one gen each rule it's almost a guaranteed 3 gen pop every time.

There’s perks you can run instead of NOED that would prevent this...
Perks inexperienced killers don't have?
-
Only if they stop making three gen pop possible on your first chase. I can see why inexperienced killers want help at end game.
-
@jesterkind said:
Most 4.4m/s killers have some mechanic for ending chases that isn't just looping, is the thing. Huntress and Trickster can injure at range (one more easily than the other), Hag wants to run survivors into her territory when she can just Nothing Personnel, Kid teleport to them, and so on and so forth.
That's why killers are made 4.4, because their power helps them in chases without getting to melee range the normal way.
Unless you got Haddonfield.

You can replace fearmonger for bbq i do it all the time. I was assuming you don't need the bp(I do) so you don't need bbq.
I'm joking but I do have fearmonger on my Plague. You don't have to think about healthy state and exhaustion perks.
-
Build is a 0/10. You must always have BBQ for the 💲

I made a similar post about this but it seemed like their team are making it sure that people aren't false banned along with cheaters. Also haven't seen a false ban yet.

Yea.....but the area it affects is much larger......1 Boon placed inside the main building of Mt Ormand will cover roughly 95% of it.
Yeah that's annoying about it. Boon is 24m iirc and I can only hear it from 10m? Can be really annoying in certain maps.

Silent hill bunnies and then the Blight outfit due to the fact that it's very interesting that all of them got mashed into one body. I thought that was really great and I want lore on that.

Yes those kind of cheaters are pretty evil. Blatant cheaters are one thing but trying to hide that you have cheats while slightly changing your movement speed is ######### since most killers can't even tell the difference if they're gaining slightly more distance than usual.

Hello ,
Just wanted to know how you people are feeling lately , i have been playing for a month now.
Already noticed ranks doesn't mean anything in this game but lately my opponents are either complete newcomers / bots or just complete toxic people.
Harrasing me with 3 people as the killer , i thought it was the other way around to be fair.
Survivors are the stronger side in this game unfortunately and there's a lot of lee way to make fun of the killer but have no fear. That's only if you're playing Fair as a killer. Go play as unfair as you can by punishing bad saves, healing under hook, smart tunneling, camping, etc and you would win most games except against Navy seals.
-
I don't see her a lot in High MMR since her power just becomes an information ability. Lots of newbies are using her though when I play with a friend.

What's the point of linking your account on another platform? But yeah they should fix that.

Honestly I pretty much exclusively play survivor now because high MMR is disgusting as killer. Obviously you've never had a team of 3 survivors perfectly rotate protection hits so that the first person is back with their dead hard. Must be that dunning kruger effect on ya my man.
I actually have but your post is a red flag when you're blaming dead hard. That means you're falling for dead hard baits again they're not overcommitting to body blocking sure hold W and slap the survivor on the hook. If they're committing to injured body blocking and still perfectly timing dead hard to dodge M1s regardless if you wait long then that means they have an auto dead hard which is a cheat.
-

Yeah okay, I'll wait for your video where you swing 4 times and still get the hook.
Yes, you can it depends on how close you are to the hook. Play both side and maybe you'll be able to visualize your wiggle meter better. I know the game has problems but in this particular case you're just bad but it's easier to blame something wrong with the game instead of admitting you're a bad killer.
-

The choice is either to hit them or let the wiggle finish. Its not my fault that dead hard was buffed through the roof.
Low skilled players be like.

You can't get through 3 hits and 3 dead hards, nobody can. Thats what I just had to deal with on mother's dwelling of all levels.
If you're hitting obvious dead hard baits then that's a problem on the killer not them lmao. They won't commit to body blocking again just a bait. Also you can get through 3 hits depending on the hook distance 4 is pushing it but you can afford but you have to be really close to the hook to start spamming space bar
-
I don't run it since I have a good grasp on how much I can get away with hitting idiots blocking me but yes starstruck would deter SWF from doing that
-
On the contrary I would say don't do bones. Just memorize totem locations and come back when there's NOED.
-
Try using that tunneling to get some experience on looping. Killers like to chase the easiest target of them all so all you have to do is not become that target. Making them give up is the greatest deterrent, It's also why I don't use DS anymore very overrated in high mmr. Use Windows of opportunity to help you.
-
The reward is really good though that's why people take a bet on the risk. A nearly finished generator can go back to 0 if patrolled and you can even hold a Five gen if your killer is fast enough and they can't find your hex. It's that good but unfortunately Totems spawns are doodoo and it's also the reason why people use Undying to even the odds a little bit more.
-
It's mostly the same with now except Legion was in S tier due to me starting when he got released then experienced his BS when his power can down anyone if he wanted to and then Infinite mending legion and moonwalking legion what a dc fest.

You don't need to be Iri 1 to look down lmao.

Someone made a topic on there being bots in this game but it was for new players and I'm not sure how true it is but I'll be pissed if they're capable of making decent A.I but can't fix zombies.
-
@Akumakaji said:
I always feel a bit for the poor high mmr survivors that I slug for a full minute, who don't have DS, but I ate a few too many to no slug you, when I catch you after a sloppy unhook.
I think slugging is fair game actually. Go for it should teach the randoms I get that BT isn't immortality and the surprise people get when the Killer respected 12 seconds is pretty funny.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
That's the thing, the less you use your DS the better it's working. Killers are very afraid of commuting to a chase only to have all of their effort destroyed and get stunned for 5 seconds, understandably. The more afraid they are the less likely they are to tunnel, and the less likely they tunnel the longer you can stay in the game.
DS works best when nobody in the trial is running it because, just like BT, the killer has to play around the perk no matter what or risk that 5 second stun.
You also have to show that you're a competent survivor and can handle yourself in chases. Like you said they can't risk getting stunned and reset the chase again being a frightening looper is the greatest deterrent you can have in this game.
-
@anarchy753 said:
Not in the slightest. If you're smart, you learn when to place a crow on the loop, and when to aim at the path they're likely to take from the loop to the next one.
Doctor's power is garbage. It's a reveal at best, it does no damage. It's also far less consistent than artist. If I hit with artist, I hit. If I hit with Doctor, 90% of the time the survivor screams, then proceeds to drop the pallet or vault regardless.
You actually need Range add ons if you want him to be an actual anti loop killer by the way.
-
You also forget to mention that the Healing speed from the medkit and COH still stacks despite the medkit completely depleted. So just get a great skill check on your common medkit.
I've been noticing Killers has been snuffing my boons a lot actually but it could be just my Randoms being stupid that they'd heal beside the boon instead of taking advantage of the huge 24m radius. :l
-
Putting one crow is better anyway. It's the killer player's problem if he didn't adapt and still kept setting up three stupid crows lmao.
