His shock attack pops the snowman and you can attack pretty much instantly after it
Not a fix

Shadow step by itself is fine. It's when it's combined with circle of healing and then it's on a map with a lot of verticality like RPD the totem spot on the library could be a huge pain in the ass.

Thanks so much. I turned it off, waited much longer but got survivors with a total of over 5k hours.
Steam / PC only it is from now on.
Hell yeah. Good luck.

Literally my next match after this post. I just gave up because I could tell.
Im over it. Why is an ash 4 who probably just finished installing the game being put with us ?!
SELF CARE
SELF CARE
ADEPT CHALLENGE LOLMFAO
I see that little globe icon. Turn off crossplay you might have better teammates if pepegas from epic store can't queue up with you
-
They don't like praise that's all. I was actually giving them props for balancing things out step by step but the addition of boons was a major step back. Game was in a better place without it.
-
turn off crossplay and see where that takes you
-
It is. I don't even hear generator popping from time to time until I look at how many generators are left and I'm missing one. Survivor not making any sound when they're on the ground been here for years now. Survivors getting free iron will here and there despite not having the perk, A dull totem getting cleansed sound when there's no survivor on it(Probably a ghost),etc List goes on.
There's even some on survivor sided like Killers not making any vault sounds or using their powers, Got screwed by those too.
-
Same reason people buy expensive stuff they don't really need. To look good and they have some pleasure on the idea that people think they look good with it.
-
Honestly can't say. I've been winning most of my games as Solo Q too but my teammates is still a mixed bag on whether they're dumb or not. You just got to know when to do gen or not really and creating breathing room for your baby survivor.

Here's mine. The Artist, in my opinion, is definitely an S-Tier killer

I'm still confused on people putting hag on S tier. I get why but I legit haven't seen a good hag for over a year now.

But you waste them, you will never use properly the 30, furthermore survivors can make 30 but they just fix gens
You would only have point back when Survivor doesn't lose add ons in trials so they would repeatedly carry their strongest kits every match.
It's fine. Survivors have garbage BP anyway and my Blight has some scuffed blood webs. Almost getting one black ward per cycle that I'm carrying my strongest add ons every game.
Seems pretty balanced to me.
-
I actually think they're in a good position except for Billy and Hag.
Hag got destroyed by Boons, it's pretty depressing.

This was my worry with it, even if you do get that slight chance for them all to be broken, you prob will be so late in the game it'll reap almost no benefits.
Honestly I don't see any worth on the perk beyond 2 or 3 stacks anyway.

I've tried Penti+Plaything+Retribution, it's pretty good on 'power' killers but it also has a tendency to fall apart the second a group just starts booning every totem, negating the entire build.
I've had a lot more consistency with PR+Surge on M1 killers and Pop+PR on M2 killers.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2685275#Comment_2685275
Sure. But it's the SWFs that worry me, because I can usually do pretty well against less coordinated groups with a wide variety of perks. When I'm making a build, I generally want it to be effective in the matches where I need every edge I can get.
You can win most games as a competent killer and lose one game once in a blue moon against one navy seal team. Seems like a good deal to me.
-
They actually do listen......Just that it can sometimes take 5 years. *Cough trapper bag *Cough.
-
They just have to make it so that boons can't be reused as well heck maybe even destroy it so you can get pentimento out of it.

With plaything and Pentimento?
Yeah. Been using Pentimento, plaything, ruin and BBQ. Ruin seem to get cleansed 80% of the time instead of getting blessed so that's one stack for the most part. I don't recommend Ruin if you're not a mobility killer though.

Did they fix the 'booning a hex totem doesn't deactivate DS' thing?
I love Plaything, but it's sort of hard-countered by voicecoms.
Yeah they did as far as I'm aware.
Don't worry most SWF aren't even navy seals with perfect communication. They'll still cleanse it if you're just applying mad pressure someone is just going to give in and if they're blessing that's 24 seconds of someone not doing anything you can also go to where that hex got blessed and just hook him again lmao. +1 if you step on it front of his face and slap him on the hook and plaything takes over again.

Nice. My favorite part of it is rekindling the totem for 30% repair. Oblivious or sit on a gen all day.....Make your choice.
I got a 5 stacks pentimento earlier. I lost the game just waiting for 5 stacks to set up but I'm pretty happy haha
-
Sometimes I swear they purposefully put BBQ at the very last. So you'll play more.
But that's just a theory, a game theory.

Might be different to play for you. DBD can be beyond insufferable to play but great to watch.
Yes that's what I meant. As much as you can hate DBD but you have to admit the game can be entertaining to watch from an outsider's point of view.
-
Getting tunneled is the best part. You get to loop the killer for an entire game.
-
Honestly it's so boring to watch.
-
Only in maps like RPD and the totem spawns in library people swarmed the hook to get downed and revived. But really it's more of an issue with boons itself not the perk though.
-
Yeah I've been running devour hope and haunted grounds too. Seems like people stop doing hex if HG pops first probably expecting undying and you snowball from there. I don't think it's meta though but it's good
-
I think there's a stark difference on losing if you went against a good survivor that wasn't toxic in the entire game. Wasn't T-bagging, flashlight spamming, or waiting at the exit gates, etc and just overall respected you as a Player and not something to toy around with.
The image is scuffed but I thought the interaction was wholesome. I got 2 kills out of it overall but it was a fun match between experienced players that wasn't toxic.
*Edit apparently got one kill lmao honestly I could have played better.
-
Play a different game :^)
-
+10 for running open handed. I've been using it but no one wants to use Kindred. It's basically a cheat when someone is on hook you'd have to be a dunce to mess up that stealth save.
-
@Wraithy234 said:
"Acceptable" in that you are always considered bad and a no-skill when you can't loop. As a survivor I can do basically anything besides looping, and I do get called bad all the time because "other things require no skill".
Are there really no other skills involved in this game?
There isn't and that's the only thing skill based thing you can do when you're playing Survivor.
Maybe flash light hence pepegas use it all the time to get some sense of satisfaction that they did something 'skillful' it's all timing really.
-
It's fine you're not supposed to 1 v 1 the killer for 5 gens. It's not a fighting game. And she's still not S tier
-
Kindred and Borrowed time that's it.
Golden rule of Solo Q.
One gen each and hold m1 as soon as the match starts
Drag the killer away from the generators getting worked on
Escape.
If you suck at looping then pray the others can carry you.
-
That baby dwight with a flash light :^)
-
There was a time where you can get two maxed out perks in one blood web but now that's seemingly impossible. The ######### happened.
-
How is this overlooked, it's one of the common ones lol.
-
Nurse has 42% kill rate last time I checked so she deserves a massive buff like three blinks base kits.
-
I think Dead hard is fine. It's validation I have a problem with and it seems to be winning interactions with killer powers most of the time. Like it shouldn't be canceling my ambush with pig but okay. This also happens with blight where I usually time a swing expecting a dead hard but gets validated instantly and I'm just locked into place.
-
Anyone who said its going to outperform dead hard is smoking but I did say it would be fun to mess around with against M1 killers.
Got a lot of value out of it with a team filled with 4 Vigil and 4 Overcome then one person had circle of healing. It was a nightmare for the M1 killer, Didn't get a single hook most of the time.

It really does though, though boons are still way op and are easily replaceable, removing one will get people off gens to reset it and you know where they are.
14 seconds on a team of four people is honestly not that bad when you the killer just wasted his time snuffing it again. Also wouldn't really place the exact boon in the same place unless it's a troublesome spot like on the top floor iron works of misery.
-
Lmao didn't know the server was down. I was just hopelessly waiting in queue and thought it was normal at the current time of the day.
-
I watched some of it and the survivor mistake was just making me scratch my head and a good chunk of the survivors had rainbow grades( i know grade doesn't matter but still) and doesn't even have Tier 3 perks..it's green. I think he should let the epic games settle down and try again when Grade resets where survivor usually try hards the most.
I still think the game is survivor sided if everyone is doing one gen each(No one messing around doing flashlight fails, doing mukbang on hooks, etc) and every one at least know how to hold a 30-40 second chase also drag the killer away from the objective.
-
They also don't bother to hide totems anymore.
What is that even haha. Couldn't you at least put the totem between those books lol
-
Playing as a Survivor is indeed stress free though in comparison and I consider myself a Survivor main now at this point. Just chilling to music is great.
-
I'm about to live there soon and this is giving me nightmares. Might officially make me stop playing DBD if match pings are a dice roll
-
Yeah Nemesis sucks hence people use STBL but at that point you're just a glorified M1 killer. You basically have to give 8 free hits to the entire game and that sucks. Would be fine if his zombies actually work when most of time it doesn't.

Red forest. One of the loops that has a log with a rock at the end of it. If you hug tech you will run into the rock and bounce right? I watched a blight just face the end of the loop like they were going to bounce off a tree or something and they just did a full 180 lunge from one side of the loop to the other.
Same killer later in the day paying blight. We got the corn map and he was rushing towards me. I saw it and ran at him but with a decent gap between us. I watched him with my cam just whip around and hit me in a big U shape in the middle of the corn field.
Perhaps it is related to the lag hit thing they are trying to fix?
I can't imagine the first scenario so I wouldn't know, sorry.
But the open area one seems to be indeed lag flicks since that is not possible. Can't believe there's actually montages of that dumb cheat.

Doesn't matter if it is hard to learn, it should not be possible. At least with hug tech you can see what they are doing and react to it.
Is genuine 180 flicks possible now anyway? All I know is that you do it by hug techs now.
-
Did you hit the survivor at the very end just before your go into fatigue?
IIRC it was a bug in the game for over a year now, I assumed is fixed now. Where lunging at the very end just before you into fatigue removes it altogether. Or is this a wonky interaction with dead hard validation?
-
I played a lot of Trapper for a whole year now and I'm officially done with him recently. Easily bullied and my STBL is dog shite with boons nwo anyway.
-
If I have to guess maybe stop stream snipers?
Then again you could do it in the lobby.
