PSA: SERVER ERRORS/LOGIN ERRORS ARE RELATED TO STEAM
Something happened with Steam that broke EAC games. EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) is the anti-cheat Dead by Daylight and several other games use. Following the maintenance, almost every game that uses Easy Anti-Cheat is now having issues with logging in. Apex Legends and Fall Guys are both having this issue and I am re-downloading The Halo MCC to test that game as well. But Apex Legends works just fine if you launch it through Origins which seems to indicate that the issue is related to Steam and EAC together.

I'm liking the idea that Hexes don't get cleansed by Boons but disabled. If a Boon goes out the Hex comes back. This gives the survivor a risk reward to either break the totem or setup a Boon totem.

Killswitch was made for this, they will rather disable boon totems because almost every single map is affected since all maps with a shack suffer from this issue.

nah, they knew about it during the PTB. It was in the Known Issues section and maybe will be fixed in a week or two.
There is a chance Circle of Healing will be disabled due to a crashing bug.

NFTs are scams for sure. The endorsement is most likely contractual. You just can't ######### on a license owner because they decide to do something with their own property that you don't like.
Lets say bhvr refused the contract. They can't tell us why Hellraiser can't be in dbd. But that wouldn't stop the constant begging. Jason, FNAF, and others. Its a constant bring this to dbd drum beat not carring the cost.
Speaking of, if bhvr came out that Hellraiser could come to dbd but the IP holder wants to sell the models externally to the game. I think few would give a ######### to be able to play their icon.

Vast number of people here didn't even know what NFT was before this. I for one sure as ######### didn't. For what research I've done, its just a scam anyways and only fools would buy into it.
As for the current outrage. I think a lot of it is faux and people are just jumping on the bash bhvr bandwagon. Bitcoin is a monster power consumer and Steam was one of the first platforms to accept it. They did stop accepting it but that was due to the value fluctuations. Where was the outrage towards Steam? But now Steam is the saver that will smite bhvr.
Steam is not banning NFTs for the enviroment. Its because of legal/politcal fears down the road. For those saying Steam will make an example out of DBD, there are games with NFTs on Steam right now still opperating. Also dbd itself doesn't have NFTs in it. If they do start adding it, then you have a case but right now no.
All in all this is the price for the Hellraiser license. The constant begging for license content without realizing strings will be attached. The contract will benefit both sides and if license owner wants something its hard to say no without losing it. In this case, the license owner wanted to sell the Pinhead model as part of the deal. (Have fun with something anyone with Blender can have.) The 10 DLC keys being given out are just that, keys to the DLC any of us can buy off Steam. No special in-game stuff along with it.

BHVR just revealed they were directly involved with NFTs through Pinhead licenseholder (despite pretty much denying this just a week ago) and Steam apparently bans games that are involved with NFTs
though we don’t know Steams/Valves official statement kn case of DbD
Applications built on blockchain technology that issue or allow exchange of cryptocurrencies or NFTs.
This is Steams policy. It doesn't look like BHVR violated it in this instance.
People are making it out that any involvement with NFTs even outside the published game is a violation. Which doesn't seem to be the case here.

BHVR gave the ingame model to the license owner, the license owner is the one selling the model for crypto. The model has no access or value to the game.
Not like the Hellraiser DLC can be purchased ingame with crypto. The license owner just has some keys to give out. Just like if you get keys from Humble Bundle.
If you want to call it a loophole you can.
