If they die, they die. I dont mind, but I will turn to kill the rest as a punishment.
I dont play for hooks or kill. I play as how I feel its fun if I was a survivor. As no Gen slow down, its really boring to extend M1 time. Here are my play styles.
- I used to do double hook and let them escape, but rarely do nowaday. Unless some survivors are completely potatos.
- Use End game build. I never last hook someone before the last Gen done. Put a true last test on survivors.
- Use Slug build. But unlike OP, if all down. I will hook them all and end the game (dont worry I use Deer stalker).
- Use Expose build. Make your choice, Haunted ground, Noed, Dragon grip, Devour hope, Startruck...I play normally with this build.
- Use all Hex. Only there is an event. I also do double hook and let them escape.
2 - 3 - 4 options, which one is your most favorite killer to face?
If I had a choice it would be #2
-
Hitting a survivor already in deep wounds forces you into fatigue.
-
Maybe we should thank them for not promoting the hold-w playstyle?
-
Its possible you don't have more than 3 perks left to get.
I've also seen times where only 3 perks show up when only tier 3 perks are left in queue.

I usually 2 hooks each and let survivors escape. Which is if Im able to 2 hooks each of them too fast, I have to hold back and act like a noob to make it not obvious that I want to farm / mercy. Many times it didnt work and survivors extend their Gen too long.
Slug play doesnt make it obvious that you dont play to kill. Make them think you play for 4 men slug and force them to work hard. Though needs a high tier Killer or slug build to not make the game too easy.
I actually like slug play alot, the game is always super tense (unless God Nurse / Blight with infectious fright or let all 4 bleed on the ground)
I've gotten to the point with some killers where I go to the opposite side of the map from a hook and they still go 2nd stage. They are at times too scared to do gens or just hide.
Sure, starting out the games are interesting. Trying to 8 hook while keeping 4 alive willing to hold M1 on gens is fun. It's just when you start getting new players is when it start to feel like babysitting.
-
You will run into survivors that want out of the match once they realize.
I've found they jumping into lockers or over pallets over and over until you kill them. What's your plan for these types of survivors?
-
ITS A TRICK!!!
π±
-
The Legion regains his collision sooner after hitting survivor.
Is it longer than other killers? If it is, then fair point. If not, I don't see why it should be shorter than normal.

I still don't see the point of increasing the TR, as they could easily give slinger some lullaby that's western themed, but him having an increased TR is never a good idea as that change sounds like it only punishes slinger players who don't use TR related perks, while leaving those who did use them unaffected
If your point of view is he must always be detectable, then a lullaby is the better option.
For a Deathslinger player than wants stealth, the TR increase was the better option. Even though they don't want it increased.

Most likely due to the other changes slinger has + how his power is limited ranged stacked onto his increased TR that causes problems
They could of placed a lullaby instead of increasing the TR. In which case the increased TR is better. There are perks that reduce or get rid of the TR. Lullaby is always there.

There's no benefit in knowing.

no it won't since it's not even an MMR.
Keep telling yourself that

I use bbq for bp. If they reduce the grind maybe I could use something else.

Your mmr will adjust on its own.

Deathslinger gets an increased terror radius and the world is ending.

No it doesn't. It's the same as it was before. If you didn't get decent emblems, then you won't pip. If you can't go down in grade then that is nice, but earning pips to get a better grade is just pointless of all it does is measure how much you play.
You misunderstood. I know how the current system works. I'm asking how you want the grade system to work.
-
What are you suggesting? Your grade inceases with every match regardless if you played well or sat in a locker?
-
A killer did well on RPD?

They have different models.

There is no hard cap, that's why everyone will creep up to the top percentage.
Then things will return to the way it used to be. Sure will make the streamers happy.

Gen kicking should take just as much time as gen tapping then it would be fairπ€£
Sure, keep kicking those gens while survivors troll you.
-
If your the last or only two left, jumping in a locker is just denying the killer the achievement.
You spent 57 minutes trolling the killer.

Yeah, now imagine how many I'd have if they removed perk tiers and made BP easier to get.
But, but
which are enough to run one every match for the rest of the year for me

@Labrac said:
I think they should remove perk tiers so these are easier to get, but I don't think making BBQ and WGLF gains as basekit would be healthy for the game. If that was the case every survivor would be able to bring purple medkits with syringes every game and killers would always bring purple/pink addons.
I know I'm get flamed for this, but if they remove perk tiers I think removing the BP on WGLF/BBQ would be something to consider. I use BBQ all the time and it's insane I can basically play with the best addons on all my killers and never run out of them, it makes the addon/item rarity system pointless. Same for survivor, I have almost 150 Syringes on my Kate which are enough to run one every match for the rest of the year for me.
You have 150 Syringes in the current system though.

what's really BS is they use un-nerfed thrill to justify nerfing undying.
something along the lines of "we want to keep the job of protecting totems to thrill of the hunt, undying's purpose is just to replace a totem." Which I totally agree with, but then they sneak in a little nerf because anything for the survivors who buy skins I suppose.
Agree, they should revert the undying aura nerf.

That is obviousπ...I was responding to your gen tapping is a result of poor time management comment.
Chasing and pressuring survivors is not poor time management...gen tapping is just bad game design made easier by survivor based matchmaking.
Gen tapping is only a thing because they added gen kicking. π
BHVR was so worried about regressing gens they only allowed it to regress in fourths. You had to kick it again to go down another quarter.
But to stop regressing it's only logical that repairing a gen would stop it. Just because that repair lasts less than a second shouldn't mean it ignores it and continues regressing.
-
You skillfully crossed the threshold while teabagging or clicking your flashlight.
-
Wonder why I don't have 6.
-
For legal reasons they probably won't say anything.
Did you hear anything from bhvr about a game ripping off assets from dbd? Probably didn't even know that existed.
The NFT thing is fake. No need to worry about it further.

Any basement on any map if the killer is Trapper. If they use the new bag add-on along with the walk through traps add-on, and get you into the basement, you're screwed.
This is just a sample:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyC0QbbJqNk
Heck, players better pay attention to gen locations and not give Trapper an easy 3 gen either.
As long as you stay away from the shack you don't need to worry about traps anywhere else. As long as you split the pressure, a Trapper can't do much without committing to one gen.

You have never had a gen tap happen to you during a chase right?
It is impossible to damage and push 2 to 4 survivors off a gen and still regress it when the kick animation takes longer than the tap.
Why you shouldn't kick it. If 2 to 4 survivors are swarming a gen, the last thing you should be doing is kicking that gen.
-
I just want the grind reduced.

It looks like F13 with different textures.

Clearly what will fix these issues is nerfing Wraith's base lunge.
Please buy more Auric Cells!
Another Pig nerf should boost auric cells sales to new highs.

A somewhat "recent" topic I disagree with would be 99 exit gates. I think its completely fair tactic that can also backfire at times.
-
I will tell you this, eventually you will get survivors that can't handle that type of play and the game just stops.
Gens don't get done, survivors too scared to walk in the open, and/or all slugged dying on the floor.
After being down the fourth or fifth time with 5 gens standing they just give up and want out.

Sounds familiar....

What was that one again, the harvest festival poster? I loved the progression of the offerings--from a vaguely related item to a key part of the location in one way or some literal others. Whaw. S'was cool, but it did bloat the web a lot.
It was a poster with a halloween pumpkin on it. The harvest festival like you said.

Look, I just want the yellow offerings back. I miss the Ledgers and Plates and Clapboards. Sure it was mostly clutter, but it was cool clutter.
I liked the design of the old brown Haddonfield offering. Not the map, just the offering.
