  • Oh, I thought combining 2 seperate items to 1.

I was already like. "I am gonna make a infra red flashlight to heal someone from a distance."

  • Just aim and don't miss 4head.

While I struggle to call myself a "main" of anything (I've never liked sticking with one character) I do play him probably more often than a lot of the killers there are.

I don't think his "potions" are as difficult to aim as you think. It is admittedly a little hard to hit the bottle itself if you're throwing it upward in an arc, but that doesn't matter too much because it makes the cloud around the impact when it breaks. As long as you can aim that area of the cloud, it's actually not bad. A lot of people compare Clown to Freddy and I can see why, but I enjoy Clown mostly because of the fact that he can place his slowing zones in ways that Freddy can't, by throwing them over walls, ahead of the survivor (if you can aim it well enough to get it in between them and a pallet or whatever), and also by breaking a bottle over a room (like shack) and having the cloud slowly float and spread downward. He also has that added benefit of obscuring survivor vision which might not seem like much, but when reaction time is important, being able to see clearly actually makes a difference sometimes.eawd

I've had some "luck" playing as him. He's obviously not as effective as other killers could be sometimes, but I think people give him a little more crap than he deserves. Once you know how to arc his bottles decently, you'll probably find some success on him. Don't be afraid to look a little stupid when you're trying to test out the arcs, that's how you'll learn. Kind of like Huntress. Different amounts of charge, different angles (high and low) can be used in different situations.

Anyway, I encourage you to try him more. I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be. Good luck if you decide to keep trying. :)

Being a Main doesn't mean playing only 1 specific Killer. At the moment I am a Nurse Main but I still stick with other Killers as well.

  • I play quite a lot of Nurse.

I play a lot of Nurse, Huntress, Myers, Deathslinger, Demo recently with Nurse being my favourite at the moment.

Could change any day. Doctor used to be my fav. a month ago and now I hate playing him.

  • I'd just remove the Cooldown tbh. Since pallets are broken as soon as they're dropped it wouldn't change much anyways. It would make the Perk more dynamic and punish Killers who just bloodlust around pallets without breaking them in a chase.

Unsafe pallets are yeah.. unsafe. I'd still break them because good Survivors know how to loop unsafe pallets.

  • Because DS is a well balanced and interactive Perk. It's your fault if you tunnel 5head.

  • You complain about a Perk which requires you to sacrifice a Perk slot. A Perk which doesn't even do that much besides countering only 1 Survivor Item group. It's not overpowered or unfair.

  • I just hope Moris and Keys will be nerfed very soon. Me and Claudette yesterday had Plunders + Ace in the Hole and basically both of us picked up a Skeleton Key out of a Chest and both escaped seperately in front of the Killer where he probably could've 4 man'ed.

Bringing keys into the match isn't the problem because you can prepare. But getting a key during the match almost every match with Plunders is just unfair, especially if you get a milky glass with it or a weaved ring.

  • Pretty good. Being a bold one right now.

  • I had people suicide on a hook because I was doing a gen which was like 95 %. Some people expect you to save them 0.2 seconds after they got hooked and will then blame you for farming. Those are those people who will kill themselves if you don't save them instantly, they don't know what time efficiency is.

  • I don't get tilted at all because I turned off all the chats ingame. But yeah, sometimes people write "gg" if they win, doesn't matter if the other side had fun or not. It was a gg in their point of view because they won. They might as well write gg ez.

I don't think she is there. Looks like the game thinks, that she is still there.

DC and make a sandwich during the 5 minutes.

  • I played against 3 Doctors yesterday and all 3 of them dc'd.

  • Monitor can actually be really confusing on her. People don't expect it and they'll think you're further than you actually are.

  • @Mdawgu said:

He just needs small tweaks. Such as shortening the bottle reload, removing his vaulting sound and maybe making the effect of his screen distorting addon's base kit. Im open for more ideas of changing him but i dont want his base gameplay touched as i quite enjoy it.

Small tweaks and number buffs would be an option. But giving him something new, maybe not excactly what OP suggested, or maybe yes would make him more interesting to play. At the moment even if his reload was 1 second and the Intoxication Effect lasted for 3 minutes, he would still be boring to play as.

  • @ProfessorDunwich said:

Clown has needed a buff for a long, long time. Devs don't care. Survivors don't find him "unfun." So he won't be touched.

If anything he might be the most boring for me to play against because there is nothing special going for him.

As Survivor, you don't have to do anything special in order to counter him, just pre drop pallets, repeat the process and you're good. He is extremely boring to play as and against.

    I'd rather vs. a Freddy.

  • She is fun, but I usually stick with my circle of 8 Killers.

    • Nurse aka The Nerf
    • Hannah Montana
    • Heavy Breathing Guy
    • Hag aka P3 Claudette on steroids
    • Female Anakin Skywalker in blue
    • Demi Lo Gorgon
    • The Oni one who matters
    • Dabslinger
  • When I leveled my Ghostface I had like 60 anniversary cakes, 50 puddings and 40 BPS. I am still at it to get my cakes used. After that I still got all the Puddings and BPS until I can prestige him xD

  • Since my Main Survivors Meg doesn't have any good Offerings, I stopped using them.

As Killer I usually drop one, BP usually.

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

Am I the only one p3ing everything? 😅

I never wanted to do it, but for some reason I started with it. After I already got all Perks on every Killer. But I only prestige one Killer at a time.

My goal is now also to get everyone to p3. I have like 70 Tombstone Pieces on my Myers because he is P3.

  • Me as a Killer I feel extra happy to have downed that p3 Yamaoka Estate Offering Claudette but I don't camp, I just play normal even though it probably means I'll never find her again during the match.

The cooldown is actually too long imo, it takes what? 4 seconds to 1 blink, 8 seconds for the another? also her add-ons are trash just like demogorgon's add-ons, dont help too much, have low effectivines

The normal blink coodlown is 3 seconds per charge. So after blinking 2 times you will be fatiqued for 2.5 seconds. During the fatique your blinks will start to recharge. Since one charge takes 3 seconds you'll have your first blink half a second after the fatique and then 3 seconds later your second blink.

It's still annoying, they could've just increased the fatique duration in general. And for people who say a longer fatique on top of the head tilts cause Nausea, you could just make her look straight down during the fatique instead of tilting her head and increase the fatique by 1 or 1.5 seconds in general.

It would even be a more creative way to make her best counterplay better which is breaking line of sight, and since she looks down for now 3 or 3.5 seconds, Survivors will have more counterplay and the Nurse won't get frustrated because they didn't wait 3 seconds for their blink to recharge because they only waited 2.95 seconds.

  • Huntress:

    • BBQ
    • Pop goes the Weasel
    • A Nurses Calling
    • Brutal Strength

BBQ gives me good information to get to my next target as soon as possible. Maybe I can even throw a hatchet across the map and it gives me info of which gen is being worked on so I can regress it with Pop.

Nurses seems like a good call, people still heal in her lullaby for some reason, they can't really tell how far I am and will probably get a random hatchet in their head, and Brutal Strength to shorten the distance to the Survivor after breaking a pallet to potentially hit them with a hatchet before they get to anything.

I use different Add-Ons but I usually stick with the Oak Haft and the Bandaged Haft.

    Spirit:

    • BBQ
    • Pop goes the Weasel
    • A Nurses Calling
    • Stridor (usually Sloppy Butcher)

BBQ and Pop because of the same reason as above. Nurses Calling is very underrated on her, sometimes you chase someone, catch someone healing behind something and then you catch them off guard because they think you're still chasing the other person.

Stridor is a Perk I usually hate running on her because it makes her extremely overpowered but there is currently a bug where you hear the loud endgame soundtrack during the whole match, reducing my ability to hear things. Stridor makes up for that. Usually I run Sloppy to extend healing times to get more value out of Nurses.

Just like on Huntress and on any other Killers, I run different Add-Ons but for the most part I use Activation Charge and Phasing duration. It's my favourite combo.

    Dabslinger:

    • Hex: Ruin
    • Hex: Haunted Ground
    • Monitor and Abuse
    • Save the Best for Last

I really like the Ruin/Haunted Combo even tho there are better options but it gives me some early downs. Monitor is almost a must on him, it makes you unpredictable if you play unpredictable and can catch people off guard. Save the Best for Last might get replaced soon, I don't get much value out of it. I might change my build entirely but that's my current one.

Add-Ons I usually run are Reload Add-Ons, Reeling Speed or Cooldown after missed shots.

    Myers:

    • Surge
    • Nemesis
    • Enduring
    • Discordance

Surge works well with him since his Terror Radius is lower, giving you some quick downs, it works good with Tier 3 as well. I tried Ruin but it's not as reliable, Surge saves a bit more time and is consistent.

Nemesis and Enduring because I use the Judith's Journal Add-Ons to get much faster stalk, combined with J. Myers Memorial. I get my Tier 3 every few seconds I feel. And Discordance to get early info of where Survivors are to manage my slow start a bit better.

    Oni:

    • BBQ
    • Pop goes the Weasel
    • Infectious Fright
    • Monitor and Abuse

BBQ and Pop for the information and regression. Infectious to increase my snowball potential and Monitor to get my early hit easier as well as extending my Infectious range to get even more snowballing going.

Ink Lion and Cracked Sakazuki are my favourites. Activating Blood Fury is almost instant as well as deactivating it. Ink Lion also takes less of your power when downing a Survivor. Cheap combo and good as well.

  • I usually 4 k with Spirit. I can't remember when I actually lost with her last time.

My loadout is following, I don't really use any overpowered #########. Usually one green and one yellow Add-On.

    Add-Ons:

    • Bloody Hair Brooch (Power activation charge)
    • Kaiun Talisman (Power duration)

    Perks:

    • Sloppy Butcher
    • Nurse's Calling
    • Hex: Ruin
    • Hex: Haunted Ground

I replaced Sloppy Butcher with Stridor recently because there is currently a bug where the loud end game soundtrack plays during the whole match, reducing my ability to hear things. Stridor helps me in that regard, as soon as it gets fixed I'll get rid of Stridor. I don't like this Perk on her since there is no counterplay anymore when using Stridor.

  • I mean, try to consistently win with him on red ranks. He is strong but good Survivors can be a threat to him. Well, good Survivors are a threat to any Killer, Doc can deal with it but it's hard.

But I agree, he is in a good spot and his rework might even be the best rework out of all Killers. Every Killer should be like him. Powerful but not extremely stressful to play *screeching Nurse sounds*

That's not "taking the game hostage".

Killer can regress the gens, kill the survivors, and so on.

Kick gens, kill Survivors seems like playing the game normally. Just as doing gens and try to escape seems to be the normal Survivor Gameplay.

Survivors kill themselves on the hook, there is no equivalent for that for Killers, so don't use "kick gens and kill Survivors" as an equivalent.

  • Why can Survivors give up by killing themselves and Killers can't?

Survivors will 99 gens and do Totems etc so the Killer has to wait longer for the match to end, which in my eyes is.... taking the game hostage.

  • @DelsKibara said:

I always try to find a reason to run it, but while it is underrated, it's just not as useful as Borrowed Time. At least with Borrowed you're guaranteed to get a Safe Unhook if the killer is nearby.

Running both is a extremely good combo. You will get the rescue no matter if the Killer camps or not + you get a Quick Heal for 90 seconds, it's extremely good.

  • @EvanRaven said:

You can save your team from slugging with it aswell. I almost never see anyone using it though.

I love this Perk. I usually don't have it in my loadout because I always change it, but when I have it I feel really powerful. It's a great counter to many of the Killers.

  • It's in an okay spot. Not every Perk needs to be viable for every KIller. It has it's uses for some Killers. I like using it with Fire Up.

  • Or, which happens to me often. I run Save the best for Last, hit the mettle guy which isn't the Obsession, giving me free stacks to a Killer like Demo, Pig or Deathslinger which won't lose them or lose them rarely.

  • For some reason I get quick Survivor matches but slow Killer matches during day time, and the excact opposite during night time. It's weird.

  • I feel like it's not worth it to learn or play her anymore. Since the game is becoming more and more balanced, you can surely win with almost any Killer consistently.

She is very hard to learn and very hard to play. You need to make only a few mistakes and you'll stress out your butt in order to win with her, while with other Killers you can manage mistakes better.

Let's say Spirit for example, she is just a little bit weaker than Nurse but a ton times easier to play. And since she is easier to play you will probably win with her more often which makes her the best Killer in some point of view. In theory, the Nurse is still the best Killer, but there is no reason to play her. Her cooldown is just frustrating and stressful combined with the many bugs she has. I used to love playing her because she was rewarding, now you get either punished or get little to no reward.

Freddy is another example, he is almost brain dead, can be played without Add-Ons just like Spirit and still win easily, while Nurse needs Blink recharge Add-Ons, otherwise you will have to play out of your mind and abilities in order to do well with her.

The fact that people still complain about how frustrating Nurse is should set the Devs an alarm that they need to do something. Usually people are overreacting at first and after some time they get used to things that change, which isn't the case for the Nurse. Her rework took place almost or even half a year ago and nobody can't deny that the rework was rushed and badly made.

  • There are no rules. Only the game rules the Devs made. Everyone can play how they want, if people like it or not.

  • @MadArtillery said:

Honestly think we need more unsafe pallets, those tend to actually be fun.

Yeah they are. Even as Survivor if I make right reads and the Killer has to break this unsafe pallet because of my series of right reads.

    There is nothing more satisfying.

  • @kijugangster said:

So probably when I will be playing survivor, I will have to change it to be able to use dead hard, right?

I think you'll have to. I can't excactly tell you because my active ability key is tied to a different button.

But I couldn't imagine it really working out well if it works. Imagine pressing E to dead hard but at the same time looking into another direction, you'll probably dead hard somewhere you didn't wanted to.

  • I tried using Q and E once but switched back to mouse but you can still use your mouse, even if you turned on Q and E on in your options.

I guess mouse will always have priority if it comes to camera turning, but with the option you basically add Q and E to your camera movement.

Since the perk says "Great Skill-Checks grant an Progression bonus of 1%" while also ignoring the token cost when hitting Great Skill-Checks off the bat, it's safe to assume that the perk grants this bonus overall, rather than it coming from the token cost Great Skill-checks.

It only talks about Great Skill-checks in-general that get this bonus, not just the token cost skill-checks.

I just checked and in the Wiki those 2 parts are written seperately while ingame it's merged to one sentence. That's why I was confused. But you answered it anyways. Thanks.

You learn something new everyday. Thanks.

No problem. Helping where I can.

  • You won't become broken as long as you walk, stand or crouch.

I usually do that if I get infected, I start walking to extend the infection time. He could've probably helped his teammate and afterwards he started walking.

Only running or doing actions such repairing, healing, vaulting etc. will increase your infection.

  • Glowing Concotion. It's an extremely underrated Add-On. Also, it's godlike on farm maps. You hit someone with a hatched, followed by another hatchet because you can see them.

Around tiles, it's a free I'm all Ears.
