Yeah, but why do we need a survivor/killer for every sexuality and gender? If you say ''representation'' then there's a lot missing for the straights.
There isn't though. This game has several confirmed het relationships and in general het relationships dominate our culture through media

"Characters"
That right there is also a problem. A lot of people, not saying you in particular, are wanting a character for every sexuality or niche gender in existence.
That's not realism at all. When do you see the entire LGBTQ spectrum in any area of life outside pride events?
My Friends group. Didnt start out looking for LGBT members we all just picked up and added each other cause of halo 4 multi-player. I'm Bi, my friends are, straight, pan, gay, and even asexual. We didn't search for each other cause of this it just happened.
So the idea of having multiple LGBTQ characters is not shocking because they exist 🤔

no. Billy chainsaw sprint moves at double speed which is 230%. Theoretically the fastest wraith could move is his new base 150%+15% from pwyf+8.33+6.66 from his highest teir windstorms+4 percent from noed= a total speed of 183.99%
Edit You can add an extra 5% with devour hope but thats only for 10 seconds after every hook beyond 2 stacks. So the likelihood of having it active while noed is also active is slim to none.

What good does it do? It seems like it would still just be DbD either way.
THAT'S THE POINT!
All lgbtq people have ever wanted was to be treated like we exist like everyone else does and to be treated like humans instead of oddities. Nothing will change about dbd it will just have a new character that represents a piece of this world that so many try to pretend doesn't exists.
-
The biggest thing that came out of this is that im convinced that bhvr should do summit of some sort with all the top content creators and players like bungie did with destiny. When bungie did that it lead to quite a few things changing in the game that were wanted by the community.

Same. Was a great 2 hour discussion covering a lot of things.

Some forms of epilepsy are more prone to sound based seizures than light based ones, and you have infinitely more control over what you see than what you hear.
its amazing how the community will rally behind colour blindness but helping people be able to play the game and not potentially die is too much effort and work so go play something else.

Not that, i would never play them unless they have one hella awesome power, that would just look so stupid for a killer. Makes way more sense for this to be a survivor.

Now it is theorized that also, the cassette of the song stops at the second 03:19, possibly, on March 19, chapter 19 comes out? My disbelief but the PTB will surely be next week or am I wrong.
March 19th is the release date for some significant horror films like dawn of the dead. The one that catches my eye though is the movie death trap. Its about a failed screenwriter luring a student of his to a cabin so he can murder them and steal their amazing movie script

The gloves are game changers, mentioned on another post how I used both bottle types in a killer shack set up. the gloves allowed me to launch the purple bottle through the window from freaking far away. wouldnt have been possible with the normal arc so it does have its uses
-
I did manage a pretty sick play with clown where I used both bottles in tandem that secured me a down I wouldnt have gotten otherwise.
was on a variation of badlam preschool, 3 of 4 survivors dead. both me and final survivor knew hatch was on the backside of killer shack where there's no door or window we both start running for it, he ahead of me after hitting him once. we are both running to the side of the shack with the window open. I throw a yellow bottle on the side of the window wall that doesn't turn into the killer shack pallet, then switch and throw a purple bottle through the window as he vaults. he gets slowed, I get hit with the yellow then because of the cigar box can see what hes doing but he cant see me cause hes intoxicated. I moonwalk with him to the pallet opening and curve around the door hitting him with a lunge before he can react since I was faster than normal. If I missed he would have stunned me and gotten hatch.

That's fair, I'm just going with experience here haha
I think that's cause of number dissociation. At p3 you get a 10% higher chance of getting an ebony in your tree. At level 50 you're garunteed (I think) 2 ebonies per bloodweb. This means every 10 bloodwebs you'll on average have a shot at 21 ebonies. This makes almost no difference. However it does add up over time and is much more noticeable with the greens and the purples who have a higher chance of spawning. Though math is bullshit and so is the rewards in general for getting characters p3. It honestly only helps super add on dependent killers like bellboi wraith.

It's a lot less 30%, 20%, 10% and a lot more 0.3%, 0.3%, 0.1%
Lol I'll trust the wiki
-
Don't think there is one for survivor since item usage is so freaking optional. For killer though some killers you just need to prestige to make them more consistent.
Wraith for example is entirely add on dependent. He needs add ons to do well and his add ons are all at the correct rarities, his worst ones are the cheapest, his best ones are the most expensive. If I prestige wraith 3 times then it means I get a 30% more likely chance for greens, 20% for purples, and 10% for reds. It's worth it cause I can more consistently run with his best add ons instead of low tier stuff.
This doesn't apply to all killers cause some killers best add ons are yellows or even browns. Mews guts for demogorgon or yellow bag for trapper, and even brown bag for trapper. Bootstraps for the pig. It goes on and on.
-
I don't think he should be touched but I'll give it a go anyway on reworking his power.
For this rework to work he has to be made a 115% killer and move his terror radius up to 32m
BIRD SHOT/BUCK SHOT (Chapelle joke)
As a bounty hunter you've always known that a target could be slippery to catch thats why you come prepared with more than just a normal harpoon. You just hope you brought enough rounds
The deathslinger comes equipped with 2 ammo types that he can switch between by reloading. Old rusty and tracer darts. Deathslinger however is not made of bullets, he can only bring so many rounds of ammo before he has to wait for the Entity to gift him more
Max range of shots is 18 meters
OLD RUSTY: a normal harpoon shot that allows you to injure a victim. This harpoon however is old and not quite sturdy enough to incapacitate anyone anymore. If you shoot an already injured survivor they gain the mangled status effect instead of going into the dying state.
Limit of 1 bullet (purple add on allows for a max of 2)
Cooldown of 30 seconds (add ons can bring this down some but no more than a max of 8 seconds taken off with a purple and a green combined)
TRACKING DART: This little guy has brought you in many slippery targets. When a survivor is shot with a tracking dart they take no damage, they instead will have their aura revealed every 45 seconds till they take damage (add ons can bring this down to every 30 seconds). Once a survivor has had the dart removed from damage they become immune to tracing darts for 90 seconds. When a traced survivor has their dart removed the deathslinger gets his spent tracer back
Limit of 2 bullets (green add on can turn this into 4)
Cooldown of 60 seconds if you miss a tracer round
There thats my rework. It solves his ammunition issue where he has to be accurate or else he resorts to m1. He can't spam damaging range attacks. Instead he's given utility to track survivors. Hes allowed more map pressure since he's bumped up to 115% and he's no longer a 1v1 God but instead has the ability to juggle multiple survivors like a legion or a wraith.

Its the same ignorant dbd yes men and women that actively push to make the game worse because they have no spine to say something is bad to their favorite devs. the very people who have stars in their eyes and rose tinted glasses to the crap being spewed out in the recent patches. Also pretty sure some devs make alt accounts to defend the company without getting in trouble for it if they are less than professional. I say this because so many of these people saying to stop complaining haven't even broken double digits in posting.

Omg... imagine playing on a 65 inch tv while trying to keep track of everything.
55 inch 120hz 4k tv player here and the new ui is like playing with no hud. Its so much more effort to see specific things now. Have played about 10 matches and essentially use none of the hud now besides the gens left. Don't look at my perk timers, don't look at who's injured or downed, dont use the hook counter, definitely don't use the point indicators. This sucks on killer.

So its a ######### take that everyone should be reasonable? Suddenly find myself not caring whether or not you like my stuff. Also, I have never said the game should be balanced around "scrubs", ever, so that's another argument that makes no sense.
You are also completely out of your mind if you think killers have received "far more substantial nerfs" compared to survivors over the game's life. Like have you not even seen the game for the first year or two?
The best way to explain this is that's due to the power gap.
Work with me here but imagine a 4 meter long line and a 4 Centimeter long line. These lines represent the power of an individual role. Survivor as the 4 Meter line and Killer as the 4 Centimeter line. When you compare these lines you will obviously notice a substantial gap in terms of power here (note that I'm not saying the discrepancy in power here is that big this is just a metaphor the length don't matter or the gap doesn't matter either so long as there is a gap because there IS a gap.)
Now take nerfs as cutting segments off the lines, their power is lessened. if you take a nerf to each line that is proportionally equal to each line, 1 meter for survivors and one centimeter for killers. Who was more effected? you could argue that since they proportional received the same amount of nerf that its equal but its not. the nerf effectively does nothing for the survivors because the gap is still the same, their line is still significantly longer than the killers. For the killers though, even if they received the same amount of nerf they are hit harder because they already had so little to work with in comparison. This is why you can take chunks outs of the Survivors line and it ultimately wont effect them till the killers line grows even with them. when that happens then the killers nerfs wont matter but the survivor ones will. This game is a 4v1 its hard to make it were its ultimately even.
The game Sniper Vs Spy took years to make the game perfectly balanced between the roles, and that's just a 1v1 asymmetrical game. This is why Killer nerfs have been more substantial if you look at the game as a whole. yes in a vacuum the ways survivors have been changed and nerfed over the years has been extreme but in comparison to the power gap its not been as significant as killer nerfs have been. Now I will absolutely agree that the game is in one of its most balanced states that it ever has been but it still needs work and in my opinion it needs more work towards killers.
thanks for coming to my TED Talk

So killers let's hear the "Devs are so survivor-sided they don't care about us killers" talk. Come on. My morning cup of coffee doesn't taste bitter enough without it.
It's almost like we are happy that we are finally getting something that we have been asking for years after years of feeling like our concerns are answered at a snail pace or never answered. This doesn't change a lot of issues that plague the game, but this is a good step and it feels nice. Shocking right?
-
Patient for what exactly?
if your referring to will they get improvements to make them on par with swf, then while ugly the new UI is a huge step towards providing you a lot of needed information.

Ugh I could go real low road and use a dev quote but I'll focus on a gameplay one.
Killers being able to make plays based on their skills instead of a survivor making a mistake is unfair and broken.

Yes when you have a stable foundation of knowledge and also have an assortment of perks to choose from. playing the game and being beaten without really knowing what your doing wrong isnt fun.
-
Yeah me and my friend run duos. Usually get all 5 totems, do our fair share of gens, and also run killers around for minutes at a time. Its legitimately not that hard to do and perks like small game and detectives hunch make finding them all ridiculously easy. We often don't even run those perks and have a fair amount of success finding all 5.
