So recently on the bird app a discussion was started around the idea that the term "blendette" is inherently racist. This prompted a lot of black dbd players to chime in agreeing with the idea. So, I made a new tier that is meant for killers that I don't feel I understand enough or am not good with. Basically its a tier for me to put as a "I dont know where to put you because im just bad with you" tier. Currently we only have around a 60 tick rate according to dbd tweets on the subject. With the new consoles and pc parts pushing some serious fps it would be nice for dbd to support it with a server tick rate of 128 like Valorant has. Stars room has second door Armory is only strong if you throw the pallet on the entrance side or else you lock yourself in. They removed the laceration bonus on ricochet knives. WHY!? Those were what made him relatively decent. Most of the community, even survivor mains were saying to decrease the amount of knives it takes to damage and you ignored that in favor of making a purple tier add-on (his best add on) trash. I think the obvious thing is that their power if they even have one must not help in chase as their movement speed is already so powerful in that department and damn near broken. So I've been thinking recently about our "meta" perks and why we use them. The very obvious reason is because they are the strongest and most efficient perks in the game. We use perks like Ds, DH, AD, and BT because they are damn good. They are simple, straight forward, and allow for survivors to be as efficient as possible. I have played the random match here or there but I went from playing daily/every other day to maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks. so right off the bat I think its important to learn and see what the competition is doing. RE Resistance is a good game but that's not what im here to talk about. RE has something that DBD should adopt and that's the random option. In RE resistance you can choose to be a survivor or mastermind or you can play as both and just find the quickest match. So it has been 8 months since DBD became included in the Xbox game pass in may of 2019. what I'm wondering is how much that has either helped or hurt the player base on console for DBD. while the tracker was for steam DBD's player base jumped 4k more players in may of 2019 compared to the month before.
