If you thought you were funny or making an interesting point on a thread about someone DCing for being farmed, just to insult a POC character twice, let me tell you that you were wrong, and please, we don't need more like these
why does the characters color matter? :/

I would advise to just give it a little time. The map is brand new and you probably don't have the tiles or layout memorized (nor should anyone). Once you get used to how the filler pallets spawn and what objects have collision, you should be able to perform better on the map. I wasn't performing well on this map, but I didn't expect to perform well because I never saw it before. Don't be too hard on yourself for not 4k on a brand new map.
youre right but im definitely right bout the house XD

So, I hate spiders. I actually have a phobia of spiders. But I would LOVE to see a spider version of the Dredge. I already don't like baby dolls and mannequins, but I don't think I need exposure to those (well, mannequins are worse than dolls).
But yeah, If the devs are okay with exposing us to a spider version of the Dredge, this arachnophobe would be all for it. Anyone else think this would be a good idea? I personally would be alright with it. It's not like it will look like a real spider since I can semi-handle them in games like Resident Evil, ect. But... Thoughts???
definitely!

The ones in the pink room next to each other are fine. It takes long enough to run back up, you can hit them after a vault.
the amount of time that consumes. lets say 2 minutes if youre lucky, 1 if youre extremely lucky. now how many hooks does a survivor have? 3x4 is 12 and the fact that 1 hit can take you to the house and then because the chase is already started it cuts the time short. but in most cases these windows will save 1 minute every single chase that goes to the house. if everyone hides and then runs to the house when found its an even bigger problem. the gen spread is insane. the map is a timewaster and the house makes it worse. 110 means you are guaranteed to barely have any pressure. i had only 3 matches as huntress on this map and its painful for slow killers and the jungle gyms are weird but decently strong. the windows have the t wall issue of double backs, except a 110 killer cant move fast enough and a smart survivor will only play the window if they have to. run a loop around the jungle gym and you guarantee safety, hell if they respect the pallet you have ANOTHER fast vault. and you see over the walls meaning you have safe vaults. the map is broken for surv. the main issue is the house, the house should only have the upstairs window and the window that is by the back

Everyone just runs straight to the building and you can get to it from pretty much anywhere.

I still stick with my sprint burst, power struggle and parental guidance but damn it sucks being matched with teammates that have 30 hours and getting a killer around my level. Makes me feel bad for the poor baby meg that had to be matched with that. Also maddening since they were the weakest link.
definitely! The matchmaking will always suck, but thats not a meta issue, hell we might as well call matchmaking a meta issue since its been around longer than any other game issue XD

Then we're not talking about those matches are we?
I'm talking about a killer running a FULL meta build at high mmr. Try going against a blight with full meta with Pebble, spine chill, dark sense, and kinship lol.

As someone that plays both sides, I can say both is necessary depending on how high your mmr is.
I play both sides and have over 2000 hours on the game. I play huntress as a main and not only does dead hard and ub destroy me... i destroy lots of surviviors. I just switched to pc so my mmr isnt otz level high but i definitely dont go against noobs every game. Survivor I can loop really well depending on the time, sometimes im not feeling it or I am, just depends on if i feel good. But my point is that i dont need meta and even when i was on console playing consistently before military, when my mmr was definitely higher and i got way too manyh spirits and deathslinger. I never needed ds and dh and spine chill resilience, i mixed my builds and solo que, hell even if i didnt escape because my teammates sucked i could loop the killer and when he chased other people got insta downs. SO what you NEED is a survivors who know what they are doing. Gen rushing doesnt mean anything if you arent good at it and coordinated, if everyone knows how to run a jungle gym and do gens they can run no perks and win against meta. meta is used because people arent good or other people are using it, killer meta is unfun as ######### to go against but so is throwing a hatchet over a box and hearing a hit and dead hard saved them. No one needs meta.
-
if only but i feel like thats not needed now

kinda what i meant but i should have specified XD i forget that huntress has many facets that work together but arent as obvious to newer people

They're not weird, they're perfectly consistent.
Every single condition is something the player with DS in question has control over. They can't be screwed out of their DS by teammates or be too encouraged to screw their teammates over to keep DS. Of course some people still do, but at least we don't have stuff like the guy with DS refusing the juicy We'll Make It heal or holding shift/console equivalent to not get picked up as a slug because they don't want to lose DS.
It's set up so if you deactivate your DS, you basically told the game "I no longer want/need DS active". And no one else can "say" it for you.
sorry but if you have a teammate heal you then you can bodyblock 2 times for someone and then still DS someone. thats not a good thing, especially when the locker ######### still works

@RaSavage42 said:
Good point... losing the perk due to others is bad
But being struck by DS after 59 seconds still sucks... even though I have chased, hit and hooked other Survivors
Right now DS is an Anti-Tunnel Perk and that's what we all wanted
yeah it is good where its at, its just weird that it works that way where only self heal deactivates and also why can people still have ds when someone else is hooked, like im pretyy sure if they can make scourge hooks affects people and gens that they can figure a way to make it where if you hook someone the ds deactivates as long as they arent slugged
-
@H2H said:
imo DS is completely fine where it’s at
it works and is fair i just think its weird to only specify one way of healing which is self heal
-
@brokedownpalace said:
So you get unhooked and the unhooker taps you for .01 seconds of healing and you lose your DS?
If it required a full heal then any survivor who uses For the People or a syringe would deactivate your DS. Other survivors should not have the ability to deny your perks like that.
I don't understand why people will never, ever stop complaining about this ######### perk. It's been heavily nerfed. If you are not tunneling you will be very unlikely to be affected by this perk and on the off chance you stumble upon a survivor and get hit with their DS at 59 seconds, it means that survivor has spent the last minute contributing nothing to the match.
I mean full heal tho...XD

yeah some maps are designed for optimal room light condition. (night time)
try playing at some maps from 10am to 6pm when you close all your windows and there is still a bit of sun glare in your TV screen, you can't see anything because the maps are so dark.
hmm i never thought of that, i mean i typically dont have problems with any other map, and its hard to do that because i have 2 roomates, but next week i start my life at an airforce base so lll probably get my own room hopefully

Well I'm not. Old autohaven with no filters I could barely see a claudette with full dark clothing, new auto haven I can see clearly where anyone can be without filters.
thats weird

Even without my filters it is bright. My filters on old autohaven still looked extremely dark.
I am confused, old autohaven was brighter

I am on a laptop but it is worse on console for sure

ok yeah that sucks too for aura but its still better than not seeing anything

what.... if anything its too bright.
Lies! how? do you change your settings?
-
@Thrax said:
it must be you i just had two rounds there and it was fine
then maybe my eyes dont work well in that dark environment but someone wearimng dark clothes is hard to see and when people run circles around me they seem to blend in. they should brighten the shadowy areas so its less eye strain

I know I just made post about toxic survive with friends but now I’m running into toxic killers now. I swear I’m so frustrated with these players. I haven’t even camped or tunnel recently cause I like to try to have more fair matches from time to time. I don’t even teabag at the killer or flashlight spam or whatnot I just do my own thing like running away from them, doing gens, and whatnot. I know people can be jerks but I just feel that lately it’s been getting out of hand for me personally. I’m sorry for ranting and rambling but again I’m just really frustrated with having to keep making a ton of reports like this cause I block these players again for a reason. I also know blocking does not help either. Again I’m sorry for ranting and rambling on about this nonsense I just need to maybe take a break or something I don’t know what to do anymore . Thank you all for reading this and have a nice day.
You havent overreacted too much. You have valid points and toxicity is an issue, yes toxic can be subjective due to other people not caring, but antagonizing and bullying has a set definition. And people like to single others out in this game and to purposely make them feel bad or angry. You werent wrong and deserve to feel this way.

random vertical?
no no, that's based on how much the hatchet curves over environment,
you know the more you charge hatchet the less it curves and travels further
I main huntress XD hay bales can be shot over with a straight shot fully charged and get a hit, thats a lot of vertical height
-
@JohnWick1654 said:

Agree with Victor mele range disagree with Hatchet hitbox, it's a ping that makes it look big, the hatchet fits through very small gaps, they can't make it smaller
that would turn into Trickster knifes that injure instantly
Oh I know that, i mean in certain cases, but its mainly the survivor hitboxes i totally mispoke and will fix that :) the angle survivors run and their hitboxes make it look way worse, but the vertical hitboxes are pretty bad for survivors, but it seems to be random too'

Yeah I totally agree with everything! And especially with nurses range addons, they are insanely strong, no matter how much distance you get from her she just blinks her way right back to you and now you're on the floor lol.
I mean tbh she has counterplay, but its pointless against the really good nurse. if you double back and they fall for it then bam! but a really good nurse will notice that pattern and just keep changing. luckily most players who are decent are just like us so you have to be the first to change your pattern when you see youre getting caught. I did that against a nurse and instead of being fancy and baiting her blinks i kept running and it worked and when she got stressed then doubling back worked.

Yeah thats the worst part! Latency makes it that we never know. Regardless his hitbox is big not OP. LIke did you know huntress can hit you over hay with a fully charged hatchet? its crazy!

I like playing as Artist but playing against her is pretty miserable. I think nurse needs to be nerfed, she is just very powerful, and I think there are little things that could be tweaked that would all together balance her out more. I love demo, he's probably the most fun I've had with a killer in a while. DS is a really important perk that I think should be in every survivor build, with the amount of tunneling I see in games now, I cannot live without it 😅 And I love BBQ, aura reading AND extra bloodpoints??? Sign me up!!
Which actually brings up a good point, the survivor equivalent of bbq is we're gonna live forever, which I think needs a buff as it's really only good for bps and the picking up survivors off the floor part doesn't come in handy very much, like killer gets aura reading and survivors get heal downed survivor a bit faster.... wish it was something else a little more helpful.
XD so true, whenever I would run slugging perks or I should say anti, I would get zero value. Technically the bbq and WGLF should be basekit. It encourages altruism and spreading hooks. which means more chance to pip and get points... what do you think? Yeah artist seems like she can make you suffer but sadly I have not gone against good ones :( Also yeah nurse is strong as hell. Tbh her add ons are where the problem lies. Good nurses are meant to make you struggle but giving better fatigue and recharge is just insane!

I do not like playing against Artist. She shuts down loops too efficiently and I am someone that generally likes to loop. For me, it creates boring gameplay. I also do not like Dead Hard as I feel like I can make a great mind game or read on another player and have it be ignored and then that play extends the chase once more.
That is very well said, sadly I never get to go against artist much, I've only had her I think 3 times. Therefore, I don't know what you're talking about too much. I wonder how good a good artist is?
