yes you can.
there is also an achievement that requires you to blink 3 times or more and grab a survivor off of something. -
Show who is SWF and who is solo then.Eveline said:Why am I dodged then? I am always solo. Oh yeah because the killer suspects I may be an swf. Do you realise how ridiculous this is?

Maps are way to dark right now. Darkness is supposed to make the game feel a little scarier. But it´s only frustrating for killers.@Mister_xD said:

Killers DON`T have a brighter vision than survivors. At least i don´t have a brighter vision.
Here are some Freddy screenshots, i made to complain about how dark Freddys vision is.

well... freddy is... special... lets put it like that.
tbh, freddys vision sucks xD its darker and more foggy than for other killers, so... yeah.
im pretty sure any other killer has a brighter vision.I don´t think this is much better...

idk, it looks brighter for me...

they do, but they are far from being impossible to spot

I loved the old graphics back in the days, anyone else want this brightness as standard? I hate the new one, it's so dark it's hurting my eyes + flashlights burn even more my eyes now cuz of the adapting to the darkness.
And I'm not only talking from killer perspektive ,but also from survivor perspektive. As survivor I loved the old one even more, now I can't even see a claudette who is working with at a gen sometimes.turn up your brightness? i have no problems at all, so i guess its on your part. or maybe you use different graphic settings. do NOT use designer for this game. DO NOT DO IT.
There are no graphic settings in DBD
i was talking about your PC...
-
it heavily depends on the killer, so heres all my P3 killers and my builds for them:
1. Trapper: Hex: No One Escapes Death, Bamboozle, Monitor And Abuse, A Nurses Calling
2. Wraith: Hex: No One Escapes Death, Hex: Ruin, Enduring, Brutal Strength
3. Hillbilly: Bitter Murmur, Hex: Ruin, Monitor And Abuse, Barbecue And Chili
4. Shape: Monitor And Abuse, A Nurses Calling, Barbecue And Chilli, Hex: Ruin
5. Cannibal: Territorial Imperative, Monstrous Shrine, Iron Grasp, Agitation
6. Doctor: Hex: Ruin, Bamboozle, Hex: No One Escapes Death, A Nurses Calling
7. Clown: Hex: Ruin, Hex: No One Escapes Death, Barbecue And Chili, A Nurses CallingAs you can see, Ruin and Nurses are pretty much standart perks, aswell as NOED on every killer, who has no insta down.
sometimes i do switch them off to meme builds (except for LF, cause... well... he already got Bubbas Basement...) -

the traps are not prestiged or something like that, he used the tar bottleon them, so they are way darker than usual. the red shining you see is the usual red aura the traps have for the trapper, so he can spot them from around the map.
-
And still, tunneling is the only optimal strategy you could use when a survivor is getting unhooked / farmed.
Its not a nice strategy, that’s for sure, but many killers don’t care how they do it, they just want to win. -
or (as i say in every single one of these posts) YOU REWARD KILLERS FOR NOT CAMPING instead of punishing them for camping. there. problem solved, everyone is happy.
im legit so annoyed by all these posts .-.

well, they are working on it.
trapper and wraith just recently received new ultra rares, so i guess the next is gonna take 1.5 more month? -

guess the devs need to fix their bloodwebs on the survivor side, since these offerings were only supposed to show up for killers... ??? -

the whole point of the wiggle mechanic is, that the killer will not be able to always get the basement hook. that said, there should be no spot in the map, where the killer cant reach a hook in order to hook the survivors in the given time.
thinking, that the wiggle mechanic was actually meant for survivors to wiggle out and escape is wrong. the only reason it exists in the first place to put some pressure on the killer and to force him to use a hook, which may be in their disadvantage (like a hook in the open field as trapper). So Where does it actually state that is the purpose of the wiggle? I cant find anything officially that says the wiggle feature is only to force the use of hooks that are not in the basement. If that is the case then why is there boil over? it seems to me like the devs want you to make it tough on the killer so he doesn't just carry you and hit people as he takes his leisurely stroll over to the hook. Another example is agitation. Why have a perk used to speed up the killer getting to the hook if there is almost no chance of wiggling free?
just think about it:
if a survivor wiggles free, the killer gets heavily punished for failing his objective. if it was something common to wiggle out, that wouldnt be the case. little example: i think we are all familiar with the perk "enduring" (teachable hillbilly perk, reduces the stun time by 75% on lvl 3). this perk affects all stuns, except for two: the DS stun, which will only be reduced by 55% and the wiggle out stun, which will get reduced at all. why is that so? i think, thats because the killer is supposed to be heavily punished for failing to hook a survivor, so they get the whole stun, the survivor gets the whole headstart and the killer literally has to restart the whole chase he just went through in order to even down that person, which means a huuuge time loss for the killer, which might even cost him the whole game. now, what do you think would happen, if that would be a common thing? killers would mostly just leave the match with 0 - 1 kill, since they just dont have enough time to let survivors escape from them.
but lets take that step even further: what if there were locations on the map, where the killer wouldnt be able to hook anyone at all? well, every long time DbD player knows this, since that was a common thing in the old days of DbD, where all hooks got sabotaged and didnt respawn as they do today. two main things would happen here: first, the survivors would take heavy advantage of this and abuse it as much as they can and secondly, we'd have a whole new slug meta (something no one wants).
you see where this is going?
you cant just take away the killers objective, since what do you expect him to do then? taking away the killers hooks is like reducing the amount of generators on the map to 5, so the killer can literally camp the last gen, until everyone got downed. thats just not a good idea. you are ment to have more of them, since it would bring an unfair advantage to the other side if you hadnt.
also, since you asked:
the whole point of agitation is to reduce the amount of time it takes the killer to get his objective, since, as we all know, time is very crucial in this game and even one second can decide, weather you win or not, so this perk helps you speed things up a little. agitation is not ment to give you a greater distance, thats just a nice little side effect. iron graps is the perk that is ment to give you the extra time you need to pick, which hook you'd like to get. a combination of both will grant you the freedome to decide where to hook the survivor, no matter where you are (not 100% true, but you gain a huuuge amount of extra distance to get to a hook you like).
(write "pumpkin" in your response, if you actually made it till here) (;
boil over only screws baby killers. dont run this perk, its rly useless. its only ment to make it harder for the killer to get to a hook, and waste his time. its not ment to just allow you to get off. -

Unrelenting
Missed attacks have a cooldown decrease of 50/60/75%Surveilance
Kicking a generator will cause its aura to be shown white to you for 30 seconds. If a survivor starts to repair a affected generator, their aura will be revealed to you for 5/10/15 seconds. This can be applied to a maximum of 1/2/3 generatorsBeast of Prey
When in a chase, press the active ability button to activate this perk. When activated, your red stain will be gone for 15/20/30 seconds. This Perk has a cooldown of 90 seconds.Monstrous Shrine
When Hooked, the entitys progressipn will be increased by 7/8/9%, your chance of unhooking yourself is reduced by 10/15/20% and you get a 10/12/15% higher penality for each failed self unhook attempt.Spies from the Shadows
The Survivors presence seems to attrackt the creatures of the forest. Crows will only spawn in a 48/32/24 meter radius around a survivor and disappear, when the survivor leaves this area. The crows have a -/25/50%% chance to be looking in the survivors direction and have a 50/75/100% chance to create a loud noise when disturbed. -
my iron rule is: i want to have fun.
my second rule is: i want to win.thats the most important stuff for me.
-
well, the devs are actually trying to fix some stuff right now, so maybe. you should defenitely follow the streams a bit, read the patch notes and then decide for yourself, weather its worth it or not.
-
tbh, i hated these maps too at first, but the i came to realise, that they dont have too many loops (especially after some reworks), so you may have a bad time to find someone, but the chase isnt too long.
for survivors, these maps are build all around stealth. you can hide everywhere and the killer could literally walk right besides you and won even notice you sitting there. dont try playing like on maps as the coldwind farm, since the swamp doesnt have that many save areas. -
cause the killer always has the action?
like, survivors do gain tons of points during a chase, and so does the killer. the difference is, that the killer is in every chase the game had, while the survivors are not. its always someone else, so the points get split up by 4. in a chase, the killer and survivor are comparing their skill, they try to outplay each other and they get heavily rewarded if the do so. so a good killer will score a ton of points, while completing their objective, while a bad killer wont (they usually leave the match with ~10 - 17k points).
also, lets not forget about the objective itself: the killer always has action while completing his objective, since his objective literally is the chase, ehile survivors merely have this holding m1 simulator with sometimes pressing space bar. its only natural, that the killer gains waay more points. -

the whole idea is stupid, so i dont give a ######### about that.
WHY would you even THINK, that invulnerability for survivors would be a good idea? ;-;Because being killed by your teammates is probably the least satisfying way to die?
Because solo players shouldn't be thrown under the bus for not playing with friends?
Because getting downed when you haven't even had a chance to press a button is bullshit?
so lets punish the killer. great suggestion. just punish the guy who farmed you! dont reward him, since he A loses A LOT of emblem points, B A LOT of BP (if its not here yet, it will be coming soon) and C also gets screwed, when one of his team insta dies.
so again: WHY WOULD YOZ OUNISH THE KILLER FOR DOING HIS JOB?Or... You could probably wait two seconds before hitting them. It's a matter of adapting... and I suppose you've probably gotten way too used to instadowning someone who's unable to fight back.
And if they're overly punishing for unsafe unhooks, then people won't go in for saves to begin with. If you're in camping distance (i.e. close enough to hit a hooked survivor right after they're unhooked), then solo survivors would just die on first hook. But of course, you obviously don't care to consider that.
wait 2 seconds, then they go their exhaustion perks back ASAP, thanks to the new cocaine hooks and it got literally impossible to not get a save unhook.
sounds great. -

WHY would you even THINK, that invulnerability for survivors would be a good idea? ;-;Because farming happens. Because killers make way more points. Because the role of survivor needs to be 3x more appealing
but why should THE KILLER be punished, if A SURVIVOR decides to just unhook right in his face? thats BS.
Because you can hit and kill the other guy? Who definitly won’t have BT?
you mean the fully healed guy? sure, if he gets the exposed status effect after an unhook.
He gets zero momentum if you hit him during. And if you can’t reach him by then, the invulnerability wouldn’t matter either.
still, you can puish him more by attacking the other guy (as mentioned before: -BP, -emblem points, -1 team mate)
You think they care!? Are you serious!? They sure as hell don’t wanna pip! And besides, it’ll hurt more if you kill their ass!
they usually want bp. since the devs plan on taking away bp from them for an unsave unhook (more than they would have gained with the unhook btw) all the remaining motivations for farming should be gone (excepf for trolling)
They’ll just use BT. Not like it’ll save the unhooked anyway. Still a problem. It’s really easy to kill the farmer, just hook them instead. If you let em go, they’ll get more stacks and farm some more. Possibly survive
here's how you do it:
step 1: down the hooked guy
step 2: rehook him.
step 3: hunt down the farmerwith this, he won NOTHING. he lost his BP, his emblem points, his team mate AND is in a chase with you.
