Is Wraith really all that great?
Haven't played him much myself.

Some people enjoy low tier killers, which is perfectly fine.

I don't like it one bit. She sounded much better in the PTB.

Yup, that's what mods usually do IF they need to reply to an important issue. Most of the time you can't even notice they are there.
Welp.....lol

I think it's time we start getting mods with fresh perspectives.
Or more importantly, someone who isn't afraid to speak about how horribly balanced the game is.
That's not what a mod does or is supposed to do, mods act as impartial towards both sides, they also have nothing to do with game management or development.
If you look at the mods on here they don't post with any of that bias at all. They don't go into a thread and say well this thread is survivor biased lets bash them etc type of thing.
I think you misunderstand my words.
As far as I know, mods uphold the forum rules and act as arbiters during discussions (mostly making sure conversations stay civil).
I'm sure Tsulan is perfectly capable of that. He's been very thoughtful with his responses on the forums.
That said, mods definitely have their opinions about the game. I see them making comments regarding balance all the time.
It just so happens that I disagree with them on a number of issues.
I'd like to see someone who represents a different outlook on the game.
That's not to say Tsulan would shove his opinions down everyone's throat. His main job would be to act as a mod.
I definitely hope they keep game perspective out of the equation. Things will go down hill if they don't.
Mods shouldn't be chosen because of outspoken opinions. They should be chosen for how they carry themselves and how they interact with other users.
Hopefully Tsulan is past the days of getting upset by downvotes because being a moderator will subject him to criticism that is much worse, assuming he is a candidate.
I have no doubt that Tsulan can keep his personal views to himself.
But I definitely think you make a good point. If we're aiming for true impartiality, then mods should keep their opinions out it.

I think a mod should be able to express his personal opinion like @Peanits does.
We are all humans with our own opinions and not corporate robots which can´t talk for themselfes.Oh, I don't mind if mods chime in with their opinions.
I assumed it was allowed considering we have mods now that are doing it.
But Visionmaker raised a pretty good point. It's probably best if the mods stayed out of the conversation.
That way you don't open a can of worms.

Of course this thread somehow derails into killer mains vs survivor mains.
Because forum moderators need to be biased.

I can't even tell what the mods play.
Most game forums wouldn't really be so tolerant of mods chipping in their opinions (not to be rude) as much as Peanits already does. Simply having the title of moderator sanctions and leverages the person's opinion. It would be completely unacceptable to have a moderator that is outspoken in a partial way.
Each time a mod posts, you literally get a shortcut to their comment. We cannot be having biased moderator posts because it unfairly drowns out everyone else's.
Well, how else can you explain this horrible game balance?
Killers have been at a disadvantage since the game released.> @Vietfox said:
@Visionmaker is right. I've never seen mods/CM from other forums giving their opinion about balance. They mainly reply when it's about bugs, fps, servers not working and that kind of stuff, to let people know they are aware of the situation.
Then why do they do it?
If the devs are allowing mods to chime in on balance, then I want Tsulan to be a mod.
Lmao. It's not because the MODERATORS make it so, if that's what you're suggesting!
"Why do they do it" is not the right question to be asking. It is "should they do it"? The answer is no. Honestly, no. No one should be saying "I disagree with the forum mod about game balance." The mod should not have a mod flair when posting and ideally should be posting on an alternate account.
The answer to why it happens is because the forum managers allowed it to happen as a privilege. Consider it an oversight. Maybe they will consider adjusting this minor issue in the future.
Oh I agree.
I just assumed the mods were allowed to chime in on balance issues (assuming they didn't go over-board).

Mods dont tweak the game.
And that's a shame. Imagine if the mods could influence the devs. Give them a new perspective.
I mean the "play with the devs" made it obvious that they need some high rank players in their team.
To balance this game. This game should be competitive. I watched tydetimes tournament and i really enjoyed that. It´s a shame that our streamers organize those events better than the actual devs.
We should have several game modes like casual, ranked and hardcore. Dedicated servers (if that´s possible) and regular tournaments or competitions. Which would both attract new players.
I like the way you think.
Now I really do hope you become a mod.

Two words: Entitled Children
-
Laughs in Nurse main
-
Honestly, survivors are probably thinking the same thing I do when I play survivor.
Which is hog as many points as you can get.
Makes sense if you play by yourself.
-
I think it's fine the way it is now.
-
A full Squadette team? Oh boy...
Let's see here...
1st question: Nurse
2nd question:
Ruin
BBQ
Nurse's Calling
Whispers+
Ebony Mori
+
Omega Blink add onsTheir deaths will be swift but painful!
-
Ewwww Freddy.
-
Just start punishing people who leave with a time-out penalty.
-
You just need more experience. It's as simple as that.
-
Original: a Preacher or a Reverend.
Licensed: Not sure, a lot of good options.
-
I would think NOED is much stronger.
You can put in a lot of damage with NOED.
-
There's a reason people call this game a bully simulator.
-
The bigger issue here is looping.
Devs need to gut it already.
-
Every once in a while, a Hag trap will startle me.
Although, those pallet drops as killer can really jump scare me too.

Ummm, I don't like the idea of having only one blink.Just make Fragile Wheeze ultra rare, there done.
That's okay, not all Ultra Rares are for everyone.

I don't like Waterlogged Shoe or whatever, for example.I mean, sure if you like nerfs, then it's a pretty good add on I guess.
Might be fun for a meme build.
I don't like nerfs and this certainly wouldn't be one.
Open up your mind to how you could use this effectively.
I know it's possible, cause i can already think of 2 great ways to utilize this.I actually have been imagining this in my head as a Nurse main.
It seems like a nerf to me.
You'd be surprised how important that second correctional blink is.
Even with the faster movement speed, you're still going to want to primarily blink. Even if you are more careful with the blink, that's a lot of chasing potential you're missing out on.
My main issue with the add on is the juking potential. If a survivor breaks line of sight, will one blink be enough to ascertain their location? I don't think so.
Edit: As you said, there probably are a few ways the add on can be helpful, but overall it feels like a nerf.
-
That's a good question. I would also like to know.

If they want this game to be enjoyable on console, I think they should just add keyboard support.
You're never going to be able to enjoy killer to the fullest with a controller.
-
You make a pretty good point.
I mean, it's all basically cheating, right?
-
I feel like that would make people hate Nea even more.

These are the same people who said they could beat the depip squad.
Then when the time finally came, they got their ass handed to them.

I'd rather save the person and then cleanse the totem.

Latino Heat!

Funny how it seems that a majority of the hate filled speech comes from the survivor side. How do you know these replies are coming from people who exclusively play survivors?
Because I rarely see killer mains use such hateful speech.
Sure, conversations get heated on both sides, but it always seems to be the survivors who issue death threats and things of that nature.
You've obviously not played with the COD type killers then I've reported my share of them for some extreme stuff as well. To say that one side just usually leaves isn't true even though it's more likely to come from survivors. I've probably got some video and or screenshots somewhere of what I've sent to the devs.
I play killer and survivor at rank 1. Most of the hateful speech seems to come from the survivor side.
But that doesn't mean killers can't be guilty of it either. Both sides do it (survivors more so).
And for the record, I play with a lot of the same people. So, I know who's a survivor main and who's a killer main.

I've always kind of liked the idea of giving LF a short chainsaw sprint.
Leatherface's chainsaw would still be primarily defensive, but it would give him some better offensive capabilities.
-

It's a pretty good tracking perk.
Personally, I don't use it because I already have plenty of tracking. It really only comes in handy when you're dealing with a survivor who's good at stealth (which is rare).
For me, the best Nurse build is:
Ruin
BBQ
Nurse's Calling
Whispers -
Leatherface needs even more changes than that.
He's in a really bad place right now.
Hopefully, this topic stays alive and the devs realize the need for changes.
I would like to see some changes for Bubba next mid chapter update. -
-
Eh, it would take too long to explain everything.
The main two:
A moderate increase in objective time for survivors, which will give killers more breathing room.
Heavily reduce looping and replace it with more stealth and juke mechanics. This will make chases more skill-based.

So, more Hispanics then?

Honestly, this game is a complete joke on console. I really hate being that way but it's true.
Devs need to take the console version behind the barn and shoot it already.
